Chapter 23: Just a normal day
October 30th: On board the Thousand Sunny
Harry is exhausted, the past month and so on were the busiest he'd ever done since he did that little stunt at Flying Lesson which shockingly applied him to join the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Every morning and between breaks on weekends he'd come up to practice on the School Grounds, to do various exercises such as snitch catching with Golf Balls (only this time Usopp only shoots them one at a time so to avoid any more attempted accidents), 100 laps around the Castle rooftops, dodging Bludger with the Weasley twins swatting the balls at their teammates, and endurance though extreme weathers, whenever it's a rainy day, strong gales or even a thunderstorm if their lucky, and if the days are nothing but clear skies then Wood would ask (aka pay) Nami to create these weather conditions with her Sorcery Clima-tact and feed Zeus to grow into a storm cloud.
And to top all that, piles of homework consisted of transfiguration, potions, charms and History of Magic were piled up for him throughout the past month. He'd would be at the library, struggling to finish them during the deadline. But he isn't alone with the stress of homework, Ron is not having any luck and wanted to give up but Harry doesn't let him. And it's not just homework, there is also spell practices which Harry and his fellow Gryffindors do in either in the Common Room, out on the grounds or aboard the Sunny, with Robin who volunteered to tutor them, for she understands the knowledge of spell casting after her free time hanging out with some of the School Professors like Vector, Sinistra, Sprout and Flitwick.
Then there are the times when the lessons ends up being difficult, if homework is bad enough he has to either deal with Snape's unfairness in Potions, the complicated transfiguration spells with McGonagall, and the boring lectures from Binns in History of Magic. Binns, the only teacher who's been dead for centuries but still active because he is a ghost. At first, Harry found it amusing for Hogwarts to still employ those who died, but whenever the teacher was mentioned, they would groan with annoyance and cringe in disgust for reason of this is because unlike Snape who is bias and horrible to those who aren't Slytherin. No, the reason of their cringe behaviour is because Professor Binns is the most boring teacher in Hogwarts.
It's not all bad however, he does enjoy tending to the plants in the Greenhouses with Sprout in Herbology, especially with Neville as his study partner. Charms is also fun with Flitwick being fun as always. Even starting DADA with Professor Quirrell was fun for, despite his stuttering, gave fun lectures about dark creatures such as vampires, Hags, Ghosts and Zombies, which reminds Harry of his earliest memory of Thriller Bark. He learned Flipendo, the Knockback Jinx where he and the others practiced on magical training dummies, which the stuttering turban wearing professor was impressed at How some of the students mastered the spell on their first go (all thanks to Harry and Hermione's guidance to their fellow Gryffindors while the Slytherins did it naturally).
Yes, the past month was a very busy one indeed, but fortunately for him, the worst is over and now he can relax. With Wood pleased of his progress with his Seeker training, and today is a free day, Harry is free to take a breather and rest from the days of non-stop work, both on classes and at practice over the school grounds with the Quidditch team. He exits the castle and heads down to the boat house so to board the Sunny where he could visit and hang out with his friends, old and new.
The Sunny is completely chocker this morning as the other students came by to enjoy the ride around the lake, to soak in the sights of the Scottish glen, along with the view of Hogsmede station and the village at the other side of the lake. Students would often spend their voyage out on the lawn-layered deck, lounging and hanging out with friends and fellow classmates out in the crisp October air, or inside the Aquarium Bar they can stay warm and enjoy the aquatic view of the aquarium showing many unique species of fish and sea life which the Straw Hats gathered.
The ship is under supervision by some of the crew. Sanji is at the kitchens, preparing refreshments which he cooks for the students on board with his beloved Pudding making chocolates and serving them up per to Sanji's request (albeit disgustingly due to her tsundere nature, but breaks down in love-struck swoons whenever her husband smiles and thanks her), Franky stays on the Sunny so that no one causes trouble and wrecks his beloved ship, plus he provides freshly brewed Cola from his distillery, especially when he adds in a variety of citrus fruits and berries to give them unique flavours to try out.
Jimbei mans the helm, as is his duty as the ship's helmsman, he calmly steers the ship within the deep part of the Black Lake, enjoying the cool autumn air wafting on his azure skin. And Brook plays his fiddle, singing the most favourite shanties to the passengers during the short voyage around the lake some calm and pleasant ambiance.
The students were nervous at first to be around Jimbei and Brook at first, especially Brook for the concept of a walking, talking AND singing skeleton tends to make people nervous to be around, same for a Fishman which is also scary at first. But the fishman and the musician expected this but patiently waited for to warm up to them when the students learn how very nice and fun they are once they get to know him, and throughout the passing month, plus Brook's skeleton jokes did lighten things up, including his 45-degree leaning trick earned him a few laughs.
Usopp is also aboard the Sunny, he helps the visiting students aboard Sunny, regaling his usual tall tales, be it true, made up or exaggerated. They were fun to listen, to most while others aren't that gullible to take his word for it, but listens as they are fun. Even Kaya, who stayed on board the Sunny so that the ship always has a doctor aboard, listens to her husband's tall tales like she use to back in Gecko Island while she was sick and bedridden from her stress related illness.
"Ahoy there, Harry!" Usopp welcomed the young pirate Prince while he continues to help the students climb aboard. "Not in practice today."
"No, Wood is well pleased with my progress that he let me take a breather" said Harry as he steps onto the lawn covered deck of the Sunny. "Looks chocker today."
"Indeed, you have no idea how many came to visit the Sunny" said Usopp with a sheepish grin while he wipes his sweating brow. "Unlike the first week here, we've been getting thrice the visitors coming in droves, all from the 4 houses too."
"No trouble from the Slytherins?"
"Well they did try to make things complicated, but we reminded them who's ship they're on." Said Usopp "and remind them that we have authority to punish any rule breakers, including taking away house points. I took that Malfoy lad a week to fully understand when we took about...50 points in total before he starts behaving. Hell, he once tried to threaten us with telling his big-shot father who works in the ministry, the nerve of him."
"What made him behave?"
"Beside of threatening to ban him from coming aboard the Sunny, Nami wrote a formal complaint to his parents, along with a suing against Malfoy for damages aboard the Sunny." Said Usopp
"Mum threatened to sue Malfoy for damages on the Sunny...of course she does that" Harry sighs in exasperation.
"Tell me about it," said Usopp, sharing the exasperation. "Of all the times we went against the law, Nami goes up using it as an act of retaliation."
"And what happened?"
"Lucius Malfoy, the father didn't take this lightly and responded with his own lawsuit and sued us for threatening his son." Said Usopp "We were summoned to the ministry, put under trial against the Wizengamot...it's a tribunal of wizards which they pass out judgement other law-abiding things. Anyway, the court was set, thanks to Dumbledore acting as our defence, we won the case, earning 4000 galleons in compensation, out of the Malfoy coffers."
"Damn, I bet Malfoy wasn't pleased about that," Harry trying not to laugh.
"No, he wasn't," said Usopp crossing his arms. "Apart from that, Mr. Malfoy begrudgingly apologized to us and promised that his son would behave while on board the Sunny, or risk earning a life-time ban, and expulsion from the school."
"Did Malfoy protest from those conditions?" said Harry
"He tried to, but I think he's more afraid of disappointing his father to risk it." Said Usopp, tapping the side of his long nose "Ever since, he's been a model passenger, obeying the rules, not causing trouble. All thanks to Nami's elaborate scheme to sue one of Britian's esteemed wizarding families."
"And where is mum?" Harry asked when he noticed she's no on board the Sunny, "I don't see her, or dad anywhere."
"They're in Hogsmede," said Usopp "She and the rest of the crew are doing some shopping here, we're running low on supplies...no thanks to Luffy's attempt to raid the panty again."
"He got pass Sanji?" said Harry
"Almost, Sanji caught Luffy red handed, but he came too late for he almost cleaned us up." Said Usopp "Normally Sanji would be there with them shopping, but he's needed here, making up what he can on what remains. Plus, he's pissed off with Luffy right about now, he almost drowned the Captain in the lake when he kicked him overboard, fortunately Jimbei saved the idiot"
"No doubt Dad with Zoro in the Three Broomsticks, hiding from Sanji after that stunt me pulled." Harry sweatdropped from that, shaking his head at his father's usual actions.
"Can't say I blame them," said Usopp "That Rosmerta can be angry if the place is in danger. And Sanji (being the Simp he is,) wouldn't risk angering her."
Harry laughed at the truth from that.
"I'll gonna head for the quarters, are my friends inside?"
"Aye, they're in there." Said Usopp "Don't let me keep ya."
"Thanks, Usopp," said Harry as he makes his way to the children's quarters where he'll meet his friends.
Hogsmede Village
The rest of the crew are away just as Usopp said, at Hogsmeade. Luffy is at the 3 Broomsticks with Hagrid and Zoro, mainly to "babysit" the green-haired swordsman due to his habit of wandering around and getting lost. Zoro is disgruntled about being treated like a child but his mood softened when Luffy and Hagrid each bought him a glass of fire-whiskey and a bottle of rum while the King himself enjoys a pint of butterbeer, as he's started to enjoy the taste of it ever since he tried one back in the Leaky Cauldron.
Luffy and Hagrid easily became the best of friends when Hagrid tells him about his interest of dangerous beasts, especially Dragons, which Luffy in exchange told him about a how he fought fought and tamed a zombie cerberus, (letting out the part where one of the heads is a fox), defeated a pride of Manticores in prison (along with a Basilisk, Blue Gorillas, and a giant Sphinx along the way,) tamed giant beasts in an island h trained for 2 years, and how he and Zoro killed and ate a Dragon, although it was actually an artificial one created by Vegapunk. Zoro just sit quietly and enjoys his free drinks, clueless about the fact that he's stared at by the pub's barmaid Madame Rosmerta, who was completely smitten by the Swordsman and his Captain for how deviously handsome they are.
She is lucky that Nami and Hancock weren't in the pub when Rosmerta kept on ogling at Luffy, for the two Queens are at the streets, doing some shopping, begrudgingly together for they need some things for the Sunny. Despite them being rivals, fighting for their husband's love, it's nice of them to have some girl time, shopping and using their feminine charms to haggle the prices before stopping for tea at Madame Puddifoot's Tea Shop, which in their opinion looks rather tacky with the pink wallpaper, gaudy white laced table cloths and doilies, and colourful cushions.
Chopper would wander on his own, in his "human form" and heavily disguised so not to freak out the villagers in mistaking him for a monster. He was hesitant of wandering on his own as he would accompany with either Sanji, Nami, Zoro or Robin when he shops for supplies, and that's when he's in his original Reindeer form to he can make people believe he's a pet instead of some humanoid reindeer monster.
Luckily no one pays much attention to him while he's dressed in a heavy coat and scarf as he checks on with the shops, especially in Honeydukes and Dogweed and Deathcaps. After getting some good number of herbs from Dogweed and Deathcaps, Chopper would treat himself in Honeydukes, buying himself some lollies and Doxy Floss, which is a wizard equivalent of Candy Floss.
Robin enjoys the morning and afternoon sitting on a bench with a good book and a thermos full of coffee. She sits at the village square where the statue of the village founder Hengist of Woodcroft stands. She looks over to see Mick, Brook's equally talented grandson perform with his guitar and earning some sickles from passing villagers who came to hear him play.
She looks around to see the village has many carved pumpkins placed by the doors and windows, some charmed to hover by windows while black paper bats come to life and flutter above the streets. Tomorrow would be Halloween, a holiday which the Straw Hats are well familiar with for they also celebrate it back in heir world. Robin smiles sadly at this time of day, for the Straw Hats have a special tradition which they made up years back while sailing the Grand Line. And tomorrow night would be a special night for them.
Three Broomsticks
Back in the Three Broomsticks, Luffy and Zoro are still drinking with Hagrid while talking to a handful of wizard patrons by the counter, exchanging rounds while they chat and joke.
Luffy regales with stories of his adventures to the group, especially the ones that include Harry as they were curious what occurred the "Boy who Vanished" after 10 years of being declared dead after Voldemort's attack on the Potter's home in Godric's Hollow.
"...and just when I was about to plunge my massive fist at Kaido, Harry helped the Shogun of Wano move the floating island of Onigashima away so I can plunge that bastard deep into the earth." Luffy regales his battle against Kaido in Onigashima to the Wizards, mentioning how the pirate he fought can turn into a giant blue dragon and has the strength of an ogre.
"Wow, I never knew 'Arry was capable of moving an island like that," said Hagrid
"Well, Momo did most of the work when he was in his dragon form, but Harry was there mostly to give the crybaby some support. Momo had some issues back then, with him losing his family to Kaido and that snake Orochi."
"And is it true that Harry has joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team?" said a wizard by the name of Oscar Wood, Olliver's fathr who came to Hogsmeade from Glasgow for work, as well as seeing his son when the holidays come. "My son owl'ed me about it and at first I didn't believe him."
"Yeah," said Luffy, although he's still not happy about that. "It was a risky stunt for him to pull, I tell you that. He was bloody lucky that he wasn't expelled when McGonagall saw potential in him and had the opportunity to put him in the team."
"Well, I'm glad that McGonagall did that," said another Wizard, Archie Johnson the father of Angelina Johnson, one of Gryffindor's three Chasers. "I say that Gryffindor needs a win after suffering 3 centuries of humiliation from that loss in 1692, am I right, lad?"
The wizard crowd, who were past Gryffindors chanted "GO, GO, GRYFFINDOR!" and cheered with raised glasses.
"We have high hopes that Potter can give us the cup this year, Cap'n" said Mr. Wood as he pats Luffy on the back. "Give him our wishes and fortunes, will ya."
"First rounds on us if he catches that snitch!" said Mr. Johnson
"Aye" said Luffy before the wizards return to their seats give Luffy some peace. "Nice people."
"Yeah, they're alright for a bunch of stick wavers." Said Zoro as he returns to his drink. "And they sure know how to brew fine booze."
"Yeah, you'll tend to meet some good folk here," said Hagrid with a smile. "'course, there are those who don't take kindly to muggles here, but I doubt that's any issue."
"Not at all" said Zoro as he gives his three swords a pat while finishing off his pint. "I'll remind them not to mess with us."
"Just keep the blood shed to a minimum, Zoro" Luffy warned the swordsman. "We don't want to catch any attention from the authorities. Not like last time."
"Yeah, yeah," said Zoro, waving off the warning while downing his pint completely. "I know when to stop. I'll just slice their twigs in half before they have any change in hexing me."
The tavern door suddenly opens and walking in is Snape, it's as if the joy and merriment just died whenever his presence is known. The patrons didn't bother with looking for they know who he is, not even a quick side leer from those who absolutely despises the man, and I man everyone in the tavern. Snape however shifts his eyes to Luffy and Zoro, who gave him indifferent stares. This isn't the first time, Luffy and Zoro come across Snape in the Three Broomsticks, Luffy and Zoro started hanging out in the tavern back in the first week of September, Luffy went to Hogsmeade during the 2nd of September with Hancock for her Birthday date, starting with a romantic walk across the village streets, sharing a picnic, (which Sanji made per Luffy's request and begrudgingly accepted) and to end the evening visiting the famed tavern with a few rounds together.
It was almost a perfect date for Hancock and Luffy, but then Snape came and sapped the peaceful ambiance with his presence, making the area dead quiet. First Snape came to introduce himself, and judge Luffy of his capabilities of raising Harry in the past 10 years. Already met the potions professor for 5 minutes and the King already hated the man. And it's not the first incident, days later, whenever Luffy came to the tavern to enjoy his beverage, Snape comes to ruin the ambience and starts to bad mouth at Harry's mediocre skills in brewing potions- and the boy just started the class.
Time and time again, Snape comes to ruin the moment, Luffy was lucky to drink a few rounds before Snape's toxic presence gone and ruin his appetite and thirst. Even Rosmerta is sick of it when Snape's misbehaviour would force Luffy to leave before he could get violent. And trust me, Luffy is tempted to break that bastard's crooked nose and send him flying over the highlands.
"Straw Hat," Snape welcomes Luffy in his usual unpleasant way when he saw the captain with his first mate and the Grounds Keeper.
"Snappy" Luffy said bluntly
Snape's left eye twitches and snarls when Luffy called him that, it's bad enough for Harry's father James calling him "Snivellus", but for Harry's adoptive father to not bother pronouncing his name properly, it's downright insulting.
"I told you it's pronounced "snay-puh" said Snape
"And like I said before, I don't give a damn, Snappy" said Luffy. "So, what did he do this time!"
"What?" said Snape
"It's no coincidence that you know I'd be here, and you always come here so that you can ranting on about Harry's "poor performance" in Potions, or whenever he ends up "causing trouble" with your "Slithery" students."
This caused Hagrid to choke from his drink as a stifled laugh forced an escape from his throat.
"You're not taking this serious, aren't you?" said Snape
"Oh gee, what gave you that idea?" said Luffy with sarcasm. "All you do was bad mouth my son, telling me that I fail as a father, that I don't discipline him enough, or how I'm a bad influence to him just because we're pirates. Not like you a model citizen yourself, Mr. Dead Eater."
"Its Death Eater," Snape said in a harsh whisper to make Luffy quiet. "And how do you know that?"
"We did our research, Snappy" said Luffy crossing his arms. "We asked around about why Harry was being attacked by this Moldybutt person who killed his parents, and what we learned is that he ran a group of thugs who think they're so high and mighty just because they're "pure-blooded" witches and wizards. Pah, I met groups like that before, and they ain't special."
"Damn right" said Zoro with a amusing smile. "Remember that time we sacked Marijois?"
"Ha ha ha, oh boy them Holy Knights were pissing their britches when you went full Asura on them" Luffy said with laughter."
"Me? What about when you gone Nika and went round 3 on those old coots?" said Zoro with a smirk.
"Oh yeah, that'll teach them to mess with us back in EggHead" said Luffy
Luffy and Zoro laughed boastfully and tipped their pints together before taking one gulp.
"Oh god, I thought we were gonna die, then" said Zoro calming down from his laughter.
"We almost did" said Luffy, still chuckling at the memory.
Snape is dumbfounded, after hearing what could've been the most reckless and suicidal event. For once, Snape is speechless.
"You're both insane."
"Oh cry me a river, Snappy" said Luffy, finding the potions teacher's expression funny "It's what we do. Honestly, you almost sound and act like Traffy for a minute ago."
"...no I don't hear it," said Zoro, with a confused look. "Law's less of a brooder than this killjoy."
"Oh yeah, now that you mention it" said Luffy as he starts to notice the comparison.
Snape growls under his throat as he is starting to lose his temper.
"You know what? Forget it!" Snape snapped. "If you can't take this serious, then I'll just inform your wives on Potter's behaviour."
"Good luck," said Luffy when suddenly the door opens to reveal Nami and Hancock, each holding a shopping basket full of things they bought. "Because they are here."
"Oh I will" said Snape as he makes his way towards Nami and Hancock. "Excuse me, I need to talk to you about Potter..."
"Hold that thought, will you?" said Nami in a calm and uncaring tone when Hancock used her Love-Love beam on the moody professor, turning him into stone before he could utter another word. The two pirate queens walk pass the petrified Snape and make their way to their husband. "Glad to see that you're not causing any trouble."
"Believe me, it's hard not to," said Luffy with a relieved sigh now that his wives are here to save him from Snape. "Especially when you have to hear Snappy here rant about Harry and how he's just like his father back in the day."
"Ugh, I know" said Nami with annoyance. "I get it, he hates the guy, but he needs to get over it and move on."
"Unfortunately, people like him don't get over it" said Zoro "I know a person who holds a grudge and believe me he's that kind of person. He'll keep poking at us for being bad role models because we're pirates. Telling how mediocre he is making potions when in fact it's been almost a month since Harry enrolled. He just wants to vent out his miserable life and take it out on us because we raised Harry."
"If we're being honest, I was this close to sending him over the glenn with my Gum-Gum pistol." Said Luffy gesturing with his index finger and thumb, being only an a few centimetres apart.
"Well, I'm glad that you didn't" said Nami "You would've killed him on how insanely powerful your punches are. Witches and Wizards are fragile people...no offence"
"Non-taken," said Rosmerta who blushed when Nami winked at her.
"Yeah well I hope earning a dozen broken bones from me would be a lesson to never mess with us." Said Luffy downing his drink. "If you think Snappy was bad, then you weren't here when a bunch of muggle-hating wizard thought they can scare us off. "you don't belong here, muggle. This is wizard land" and all that."
"Taught them a lesson when I sliced off their precious wands" said Zoro with a smirk.
"They never saw you draw your sword, now did they?" said Luffy "And they didn't see my fists coming when I used Gum-Gum Gatling on them."
"When and where was that?" said Nami crossing her arms.
"Behind the Hog's Head, a week ago, the same day you were sent to court after you got a suing from Luci." said Luffy, slightly nervous when he noticed Nami's unhappy expression. "It wasn't our fault, we were minding our own business when they came ganging on us. Sadly we were barred from drinking from that pub."
"Turns out the barkeep is Dumbledore's brother" said Zoro
"Yeah, old Dumbdy had to apologize for us and convinced the grumpy old coot not to press charges. We had to pay and fix the damages though."
"How much?" said Nami, her anger is becoming more immense.
"20 galleons, but we convinced him that we only pay 5 if we do repairs."
"You repairs?" said Nami with a stifled laugh in disbelief. "You couldn't fix a chair to save you life."
"That's why...we had Usopp and Franky to do it for us." Said Luffy rubbing his head sheepishly.
"And the 5 galleons?" said Nami "I don't recall giving you that much money to spend."
"Oh, I won it," said Luffy "Well technically I won 15 galleons and 6 sickles on a heated card game, which was also when Hagrid won that...mmmm."
"Shush, not in public Luffy" Hagrid whispered when he covered face with his massive hand, the half-giant laugh nervously at Nami and took over. "Yeah, we both won our share of the pot and Luffy used some of it to repair the Hog's Head. Aberforth though... barred us coming there again after that incident."
"Uh huh" said Nami suspiciously before she decides to leave the tavern. "Well at least he's taking responsibility, I'll overlook the fact you've been gambling without telling me."
"m-m" Luffy muffled "sorry" to Nami for he knows how much she love a good game that involves money.
"I forgive you, but next time you gamble you better let me in on the action," said Nami "Got it?"
"Got it" said Luffy after freeing himself from Hagrid. "You know me better than hog all the fun."
"Don't remind me," Nami groaned. "Well I think it's time you had just enough fun for the day."
"Miss me already?" Luffy said with a teasing smirk.
"*snort* No" said Nami
"Yes," Hancock said immediately, causing Nami to look at the Empress and rolled her eyes at her.
"Anyway, we best be off, it's almost lunch time" said Nami
"Really?" said Luffy until his stomach rumbled right on schedule. "so it is."
"We do serve meals here in the Broomstick," Rosmerta offered to Luffy
"I wouldn't do that, love," Nami warned the barmaid. "My husband's appetite is impossibly huge, it could put a herd of elephants to shame."
"We had to padlock the fridge and pantry to keep him from stuffing his face and clean us up of any food for the voyage." Said Zoro "We'd starve on the first week at sea if we do. *groan* fortunately ( and I can't believe I'm saying this) Sanji did a good job keeping the Cap'n away from the provisions."
"Hn," Luffy grunted disapproving whenever that was brought up, he still got bruises from last night. "No respect for your King, at all"
"Well, that's what you get if you keep pulling that trick, Luffy" said Nami before she turns to Rosmerta. "Trust me, you'll be losing profits of you serve him food, not only will he clean your pantry of everything, he also dines and dashes."
Oh really?" said Rosmerta turning to Luffy with a deadpan expression and a raised brow. "Then it's a good thing you paid for those drinks, o relse you'll be barred from here like you were in the Hog's Head. And I'll make sure that you'll be barred from the Leaky Cauldron when I warn Tom about you."
"Now, now, there's no need to threaten me, Rosemary" said Luffy hold his hands out in defence.
"Rosmerta" the barmaid corrected.
"Rosmerta, sorry" said Luffy, taking the affect to use her name correctly. "Look, I like this place. And given my...reputation of dining first and pay never, I always paid for my drinks here ever since Zoro and I came. Sure, Hagrid paid for the first few rounds, but no once have I ever dodged ya."
"Well be that as it may, I'm keeping my eye on you." Said Rosmerta with narrowed eyes.
"Oh really?" said Luffy with a playful smirk. "I'm sure you've been keeping your eyes on me ever since we came here. So, what's the difference?"
Rosmerta was taken back by this and started blush deeply from this, she stammers for an answer but all came out from her mouth is incoherent blabbers.
"Come on, let's go home" said Nami trying not to laugh.
"Right" said Luffy as he finished his drink and places 5 silver coins on the counter. "Here, for the trouble."
"T-There's no trouble at all," Rosmerta stammered, still affected by Luffy's teasing. "Please come again"
"Will do" said Luffy tipping his hat before getting off his seat and turns to Hagrid. "I'll pop by and help you harvest them pumpkins for tomorrow, Hagrid."
"Appreciate it," said Hagrid, deciding to remain at the Three Broomsticks for a little longer. "I'll be sure that the kids get the best ones to carve."
"Thanks" said Luffy, he waves Hagrid goodbye and leaves the tavern. Zoro joins his captain after finishing off his pint and bought a couple of bottles for the road. Hancock pulls out a small heart shaped vial full of pink liquid from between her cleavage and gives it to Rosmerta. Rosmerta is confused at this and looks at the pirate empress for inquiry.
"It's for that brooder there" said Hancock nudging her head to the direction of the petrified Snape. "It's essence of my Love-Love Fruit that took me years to learn and make. Just apply it on him and the spell is undone. Just...apply it after we left Hogsmede. So, wait about 5 minutes, alright?"
"Got it." Said Rosmerta, nodding in understanding. "So, is he alive in that state or something?"
"He is" said Hancock "Just careful not to break him, he'll die if he's broken."
"Oh, how fragile is he?" asked Mr. Wood as he came by and starts knocking on Snape's petrified head, resulting in hurting his knuckles and starts rubbing it.
"He's solid stone, so hitting him with something dense like a sledgehammer could kill him."
"So, soft things are fine?" said Mr. Johnson
"Just don't overdo it," said Hancock, getting the gist of the question these men are asking, and sighed in an uncaring tone. "I don't want the ministry on my back just like Nami had a week ago when they learn that Snape was killed while petrified."
"Oh, screw you!" Nami exclaimed at Hancock for that remark. "That brat was causing trouble on board the Sunny and needs to be punished.
"A simple howler would've been suffice." Said Luffy
"Don't you start!" said Nami angrily at Luffy. "You're still not off the hook for nearly cleaning up our pantry last night."
"Yes, dear" said Luffy shrinking in fear.
Zoro did a whipping gesture and noise before laughing after seeing Luffy get scolded by Nami, but that only earned him a smack on the back of his head from Nami.
"And that goes for you, Zoro!" said Nami "How you wound up in Glasgow I will never know."
Zoro grumbled under his breath and returned to his drink. Hancock rolled her eyes and resumes her attention to the tavern patrons.
"Just, be careful, it'll be easy for us." Said Hancock
"Oh, don't worry," assured the patrons with mischievous grins as they pull out dung bombs and paint from Merlin knows where. "We'll be careful."
"Oh Merlin" Rosmerta groaned before turning to Hancock "I'll undo the spell if things get carried away. "I may not like the guy, but I assure his safety."
"Thanks" said Hancock bowing with gratitude to the barmaid. "We'll be leaving now."
"Later" said Nami as she and Hancock take their leave."
"Now then," said Rosmerta as she turns to her other patrons. "If you want to pop some fun at Snape while he's like this. Don't get rough on him or you'll break and kill him. You've got 10 minutes, 2 sickles per person."
The Oscar and Archie wasted no time rummaging through their pockets and place their 2 sickles on the counter, the same goes for the other patrons as they place of pair of Sickles on the counter so they can get a whack on the Petrified Snape. Rosmerta chuckled as the pile of coins pile up in front of her, she puts the vial of Love-Love Essence between her cleavage and watches the fun.
"You do know Snape is gonna be outraged by this," said Hagrid
"Oh, what's he gonna do, take house points from us?" said Rosmerta
"No, but he'll sue," warned Hagrid
"First, I didn't petrify him, nor did I had Dung-bombs and paint smeared all over his body" said Rosmerta when suddenly a loud bang and a foul smell suddenly occurred inside the tavern, a dung bomb was set off, covering Snape in shit. "Which reminds me, I need to get the mop and bucket ready."
