Chapter Six

-"She said sure, you were with that Greek of God, Commander McGarrett, and plus, you all left a huge tip. I was wondering if you could do me a favor, and I will gladly compensate you. Sure, what is it? His Ex is back in town, and she is trying to come between us and get him back. As you know, he is recovering from a liver transplant, so he is emotionally confused. Right, I heard about the operations and hope he is doing better. You know how it is: the ex leaves him and mistreats him, and as soon as he moves on, they come back to cause trouble. Wasn't he dating Lt. Rollins? Yes. I thought she was a nice person and heard nothing but good things about her. Don't believe everything you hear girly; she has been playing him; she doesn't want him back but doesn't want him to move on. I heard she is making plans to leave soon, and he doesn't even know it. WOW, my guy had an ex like that, and she made our life a living hell. I will help you.

-"Go over and start a conversation with her, and somehow start talking about Five- 0. If she says, she used to work for them, that your in. Got it. Say you heard about the Commander and wondered how he was doing. Then, casually mention you met him when he was on a date in a private room for Valentine's weekend.

-"She goes over and says just that. Catherine just said yeah, you could tell they were in love; every time I looked around, he was all over her, kissing and touching one another. All the staff was jealous of how in love they were. He was a big tipper also.

-"Catherine didn't let it show, but she was heartbroken. Make sure you send my good wishes, and I will bring your order. Thanks, she said and can you send it up to my room. She didn't feel like eating outside now. Steve always said he didn't want to do a lot of PDA in public because of his job. Especially when she was working at Five-0. He knew others thought he gave her the job because she was his girlfriend. They both were private persons and for years in the Navy, it had to be that way. They never made it to dinner. Although she loved that part, she wished he had wooed her like that. Maybe he didn't really love her that way and really loved Lynn, and she was just in the way.

-"The waiter felt bad because Catherine was nice and had a kind demeanor, and she could tell she was really hurt by those comments. She wondered if she did the right thing. She went back and told Lynn she did what she asked but did feel sorry for Catherine. Don't let her fool you, she wants people to think she is Mrs. Good to Shoes. Okay, she is having lunch in the room now. Lynn is beyond giddy; she is sure this is going to make Catherine leave sooner rather than later.

Steve texted Catherine all day, but she never answered. He was so pissed at Lynn, and he was sure Danny and Lou were somehow a part of this, but he had no proof. Catherine finally answers his text. She said she was okay, but maybe she was in the way of his relationship with Lynn. Steve decided to call her and hope she would answer. She did answer him.

-"Hey Cath, I told you I don't love Lynn, and I only want you. She told him about the waitress she ran into and how she was going on and on about the private dining Valentine's weekend and how the two of you were so in love and couldn't keep your hands off one another. Who is this waitress? She said she was the one who waited on you that night, and you even left a big tip. I said wow, you must have been really enjoying yourself doing that, and I laughed a little.

-" First of all, Cath, I took her to private dining out of the guilt, and I didn't want her to tell Melissa and her to tell Danny that I called her your name during sex. I came up with doing that, and that was all it took. I was not all over her, but she was all over me, and I didn't want to make a scene. You know, I would never do any of that in public because of my job. He heard her sniffle. Cath, I was faking and pretending. I promise you. I am so sorry you had to hear that from that waitress. When you have known me to do something like that in public. I wish I was with you. I never meant to hurt you. I could never be with someone like Lynn for the rest of my life. Please, please come back home.

-" I am hearing all this stuff about you two, and I guess it is giving me some doubt. Don't doubt me, Cath, I should have taken more time and put you first, but I promise I will from now on. The job doesn't come first. I let you get some rest. Good night Cath, and I love you.

-"Catherine was confused. She knew she loved Steve, and he loved her, but there was some doubt, and what if she had to go back to the CIA. It was getting close to her departure time, and there was nothing new in their plans. They need the director of the CIA to listen to them; otherwise, it wouldn't work. She was lying down when she heard a knock on her door. She asked who it was and they said room service man. I didn't order room service. She looked through the peek hole, but all she could see was the food tray; she was sure they had the wrong room. She decided to open it to look for the waiter, and then she saw Steve.

-" Room services my lady. Steve, what are you doing here? You should be resting. You wont come to me so I am coming to you. It is all your favorite and your favorite wine. She was happy to see him and told him to come in. he rolled the cart in but then grabbed her and kissed her. I miss you, Cath, and I will never ever look at another woman whether you stay or not. I love only you. He pours him a glass of wine and her also. This is so good, I miss it. After drinking, Steve started kissing her on the neck and laid her on the bed. He hovers over us and lets his hand roam across her breast and leg, and anywhere else he could touch. He has missed this so much, and he growls I miss this. He then yanked that tank top off and took off her bra and then her shirt and panties and, at the same time, threw his shirt off him and removed his cargo pants and boxer. Catherine couldn't hold back any longer. She has missed making love to him because he knew how to make every bone in his body feel like on his fire. I miss you too, sailor, and he raised her legs and put them across his neck and, being his magic, entered her. it felt so good, and she knew how to move to make sure they were in sync, and it was like they had never been apart. After he held her and said, Catherine, that was awesome, and I love you; if you believe nothing else, believe that.

-" He wants to ask her to marry him right then and there, but he wants to do something special for her and wants the cloud of the CIA behind them. Regardless of the outcome, he was going to ask her to marry him. I love you too, sailor. They made love all night long and slept in each other arms. Steve knew this was the way it was supposed to be. When he woke up, there was about 50 text mess from Lynn. He has turned his phone off. He showed the phone to Catherine because he wasn't going to hide anything from her. Catherine said wow, Steve, she is not giving up on you.

-"Catherine read the last message let me see that again. She asked if I was still at the Hilton. How did she know that? Danny was being nosey when I talked to Kono, and I told him you were at the Hilton to visit a Navy buddy. He probably told Melissa and her Lynn. They tell each other everything. I had her pull up Melissa's Facebook page and read the comments she posted. She and Melissa are plotting together and making it seem like we are still a couple. I think they plan to do that with the picture.

-"I think Danny and Lou might be involved, but I am not sure. I ask Kono to ask Jerry to find a way to delete it and anything about me and her out there. Jerry can do it or find someone who will and will keep it a secret. You didn't have to do all that, Steve. Yes, I did because I don't want my business out there and for her to have people think we are a couple and we are not. She kissed him and said thank you. You want breakfast. Yes, let order room service because I have something else I want to do, and I am not getting dressed. He rolled her on top of him and had her sit on top of him, and she was in complete compliance. They eat breakfast a couple of hours later, and Kono calls.

-"Yes, Kono, that's great work, Kono, and thank Jerry for me. Jerry also said he had everything ready for the CIA, and there was no way anyone could say it was fake. You are good to go with that. That is really great news. I check in with you later, and bye. Kono said Jerry and his friend were able to get rid of pic and a lot of other things out there about me and you. Kono said Lynn had a lot of crazy stuff on her page that I didn't even know about. WOW, I do hate so much that I got involved with her. Catherine, I think it is time to make our move. Jerry is ready. We need to force the Director to meet with us. Steve, let us just give it a couple more days before we do that. I want to make sure our first shot works. Okay, Cath, you are right. I am so impatience. I want this to be over. I know, and me too. Will you come back home now? Steve, with Lynn being crazy and thinking she's going to get you back, why don't I just stay here for a while, at least, till we meet with the CIA? I don't like it, but I agree, but I am staying here with you every night, and it is not up for debate. Okay, Commander. I must run an errand this morning, but I will be back this evening. You rest and do some girly stuff. Girly, she laughed and kissed him, and he left.

-"She wondered where Steve was going, but she didn't worry if it was to meet Lynn. She is clear now that Steve doesn't want anything to do with her.
