Oh, the team's very first profile. How exciting! What will it be like based on all they have learned so far? Let us see for ourselves.

I do not own Criminal Minds or its characters, including Theo. I do own Jackie, Lucas, Jo, PJ, and Dexter.

Also, I've left an important message at the end of this chapter. It's vital that you read it!

As soon as they got back to the police station, Theo called for every member on the force to come meet with him and the rest of the team in the main conference room. He told them that he wanted everyone there to witness the profile they've put together.

Lucas knew that this was one of the most vital things they must do for their duty as FBI agents and as part of the Behavior Analysis Unit. It informed the department of each place they went to about what they've learned about the unsub and what measures should be taken to protect the citizens. It also made the team look pretty professional with explaining so much information about one person like that. And the fact that this was their first real profile that they would be giving out made it extra thrilling. His entire body was filled with excitement.

But, as he watched Theo round up everyone, all of his excitement melted away, replaced with concern. Their leader seemed so focused on delivering this profile right away. He didn't even let anyone, not even the team, have a moment to breathe. As he watched his friend rush Jackie to set their crime board behind them, another bad thought occurred in his head. Was it too soon for the profile? They did learn a lot about this unsub since they've arrived in Gracetown. But was it enough? What if they missed something that could throw off their whole investigation? Perhaps they ought to wait until they got their facts all straighten.

However, he dared not to say anything as Theo was in a bad state. The way his poor friend wanted every law enforcement member to hear what they had to say and had on an emotionless stare made him look like a completely different person. He'd been that way ever since returning from the most recent crime scene. Perhaps seeing Codies's body really triggered him.

Well, there wasn't anything he could do any it. Except for helping to give out the profile. Hopefully, they had enough information to consider it a profile.

"We are positive that the unsub we are dealing with here is a hunter" Jackie began. "He uses hunting techniques and rifles for his kills. As well as seeking his victims as if they were poor, defenseless wildlife." Lucas had to eye her. Did she really have to mention that the animals sport hunter's prey on were victims in front of citizens of a town known for having a lot of sport hunters?

"Too bad that's common around here" Sheriff May spoke up.

"Hunters, like serial killers, have their own preferences when it comes to killing" Theo explained. "They also have a favored target."

"The BAU has dealt with hunters of sport turning to humans as their victims before" Lucas added. "Usually, it's young men in their late teens to early twenties."

"Those are the ones who don't just love hunting, they crave it. Their triggers usually begin when they believe that killing animals isn't enough anymore. Now, they want harder targets. The human kind."

"Most of the hunting styled serial killers the BAU has dealt with in the past almost always had a history of being abused or have abandonment issues" Jo added. "Look into Child Services reports about abuse towards a child that go back twenty years. Unfortunately, not all cases of abuse are notified. So talk to local teachers to see if they've ever had suspicions on students who they thought were abused or cases where a parent or guardian left them."

When he looked to his far right, he saw that PJ frowned at that statement. What was bothering him about their profile? Could he too have some doubt as to the lack of information they've found?

"We highly advise you to look into records of high school boys with high hunting records that go back ten years" Theo went on while ignoring PJ's doubtful expression. "Then see if any of them have disciplinary issues."

"Something else we need to consider is the long-term break in his killing spree" Jo spoke up. "He was very active during the Covid-19 Lockdown. Suddenly, he stopped for a really long time only to sudden come back now. So something had to have happened during that long break to stop him from killing. It could have been that he was jailed, institutionalized, moved out of town then came back."

"Or something could have happened in his personal life to make him stop temporarily" Lucas pointed out. "Then a stressor could have happened to make him return to murdering. Perhaps a personal loss or conflict in his workplace."

"If there was such a long break with these murders, how are you so sure that this is the same person?" One officer questioned. "A lot of people hunt around here and have similar weapon choices when it comes to hunting. How can we be sure this isn't a copycat?"

Jackie, with clenching fist, was no doubt trying desperately to stop herself from lashing out about how hunting animals for sport is not right. Thankfully, PJ stepped up. "We are highly positive that this is the exact same serial killer who was active in 2020. I've seen the autopsy reports on the previous victims and preformed them on the latest ones. While they were killed in different forms and weapons, every murder from each time periods have one thing in common." There was a long, suspenseful pause. "All of these victims died a very long and brutal death. Whoever we are dealing with, they want each of their victims to suffer."

Lucas couldn't help but hinder how firm his friend was when explaining how the unsub wished to allow his victims to suffer before killing them. Could there be more to what he believed there was to this unsub. Something they've yet to explain in their profile that they ought to add in?

Before he could try to question what PJ was thinking, Theo took over once again. "Not to mention, the media never covered how each victim was killed during the first wave of murders. The public only knew that there was a serial killer who had different means of murder. And we would prefer that you keep it that way. In such a small town, rumors spread fast and the last thing we want is to have anyone raise any suspensions on the wrong person."

"But, shouldn't the people here need to know that there's a dangerous person here?" Sheriff May questioned.

"Right now, the public just needs to know that the serial killer from the Covid-19 pandemic has returned" Jo answered. "But since this town has a lot of hunters, as you said, we shouldn't let them know or they might attempt to put matters into their own hands and hurt the wrong person. So when notifying the public about this, leave out that this unsub is a hunter."

"And that the unsub is choosing his victims at random" Theo added. PJ frown at that mentioned.

Before they could dismiss anyone, Lucas had one last detail to add. "Lets not forget one very important factor in this case." Everyone stared hard at him. "There were no signs of force entry at Robert Codies's house and the chair in the living room had recently been sat down on. That means that Codies likely allowed this unsub into his home willingly. If this tells us anything, it is that this unsub is well known in this town. Very likely to be a long termed resident who had been born here. Someone who most people like Codies trusted enough to let them into their home."

"And he also seems to strike at night" Theo added. "So, warn every citizen here not to go out after dark. Time is of the assents too. Who knows when he'll kill again? It could be a few days. A few hours. Tomorrow. Or even today. So we need everyone to focus all you can to figure out who this guy is. That will be all."

As they all broke away, Lucas couldn't help but feel sorry for Theo. He seemed much more serious than he had ever been before. He just hoped that their leader could pull himself together and not let himself make a mistake that could jeopardize their entire investigation.

Is Lucas correct? Did they give the profile too soon? Did they miss a vital piece of information? Can they figure out who this unsub is before he kills again? What do you think? Please comment.

P.S. So, it's been months now. And yet nothing has been done in regards to the wolf cub that was tortured needlessly by a monstrous man in Daniel, Wyoming. Most of you are probably wondering why I keep discussing this case. Why do I continuously spread the word about this story of animal cruelty? Why do I keep demanding that real justice be served against this one animal abuser when there are so many cases of animal neglect all around the world? Why am I trying so hard to keep this story alive, despite all those haters online telling me that I'm a joke for doing this? It's because I care! That's why. I care about that wolf cub that was purposely run down, abused and showcase just for entertainment. I care about how her entire family must feel for the loss of their pup. I care about the many other animals who will likely suffer the way this cub had in the hands of heartless people like that man until we change our ways. So, if you don't agree with me or my beliefs, that's fine. You can call me stupid and foolish all you like. But I will never let this go. Because if I let this go, then others will surely do the same. Then another animal will be torcher and another and another and it will never end. Animal abuse won't stop until someone takes a stand. That's why I'll keep voicing for the Wyoming Wolf Pup, as well as all other creatures who deserve to have their voices heard. And I will not stop fighting.
