I had dreamt about her every night since we met. Chloe Charming was so beautiful and sweet, so sweet it made me nauseous sometimes. I have been doing really well at keeping my feelings to myself, I made it throw all of high school without letting her know that I was desperately in love with her. Now, she has gone and gotten an apartment near the college campus and is expecting me to move in with her "That's what best friends do when they go to the same school.", at least that's what she tells me.

I was terrified that I would slip up and kill our friendship, Chloe means the world to me and I would rather her be in my life as a friend than her not be in my life at all. I don't care if I live my life miserable just to see her living her happiest life. It's all worth it just to see her smile.

Normally I would reach out to my old tutor and only other friend, Maddox, but I already know what he would say, he would tell me to talk to Chloe and tell her the truth. He would want me to put my happiness first, if things went bad then at least I tried. He would tell me to risk everything for love and I don't think I can. I don't think I could look Chloe in the eyes and tell her that I love her and live with myself if she didn't feel the same, if she didn't want to be around me anymore. And what if she just says that she wants to be with me because she's afraid that I'd turn into my mom if she turns me down.

"Hey, Red." I turned in time to see Chloe's brother, Chad, sitting next to me. He was a good looking man but Chloe is definitely the more charming one out of the Charming siblings. He smiled at me. "You haven't given my sister an answer yet, she's worried that there is something going on that you're not telling her." He raised his brow. "You know you could just tell her that you love her."

"Wh-what are you talking about Chad?" I started to panic.

He laughed at me, Chad was actually laughing at me, like tears in his eyes, laughing! "The only person that doesn't know is my sister." He said as he tried to catch his breath. "The eyes never lie." He looks off into the distance. "Just talk to her Red, trust me, everything will work out for the best."

I just stared at him as he walked away. I thought that I had been doing extremely well at hiding my feelings away.

R: We need to talk

C: What's up?

R: Meet me in the courtyard in 5

I needed the five minutes to try to settle my nerves. I can't believe I was going to be laying it all out on the line.

"Red?" I looked up to see my best friend, the love of my life, standing in front of me. She was wearing her signature blue that matched her hair, looking as beautiful as ever. "Is everything okay?"
