-"Later on, Steve took her to the Hilton. He had arranged the bridal suite and rose petals on the floor and on the bed the words Mrs. McGarrett, I love you. Catherine was crying again. Oh Steve, it is beautiful and I love it and you. He carried her across the threshold. No alcohol, champagne and strawberry and whipped cream. My husband is spoiling me. My wife deserved every minute of it and more. He couldn't believe after all they had been through and the separations, they were finally married. He couldn't be happier. They love each other all night for the first time as husband and wife. Next morning, Good morning husband, good morning my beautiful wife with a passion kiss. Do you feel different he ask? No, but I still feel like I am dreaming that the two of us finally got married. I know, right but I always knew we would but I was dragging my feet and a little scared but there was no doubt you would be my wife. Same here, but some doubts did creep in because you were taking so long. They laugh. Hey, are you sad that Danny wasn't there, I always thought he would. You know Danny has been there for me but Cath we agreed he would be there for the bigger wedding. Let's not talk about Danno now; I am going to order my wife and my baby some breakfast. He gets up and the menu to place the order. The next day, Danny was reading the paper online; Lou was in his office, and so were Kin & Kono, both with happy smiles on their face. Danny scream. What the hell? Lou came running into his office along with Chin & Kono, but they both knew the reason. Lou said what the matter man? Did you know Steve got married at the courthouse yesterday and Governor Denning performed? Are you serious? Let me read it; it says Ohau's most eligible bachelor is finally off the market. It said Commander Steven McGarrett married his longtime girlfriend, Lt. Catherine Rollins, performed by the governor. Also in attendance were Kono K. and Chin H. Kelly. Danny & Lou look at them with a mean face. You two knew and didn't tell us. It wasn't out story to tell. It should say they will still be having a bigger wedding later with family and friends. Yeah, I see there, but we should have been there also. You need to take that up with Steve & Catherine.
-"Danny called Steve immediately. Hello Danno, why did I have to read about you getting married in the paper, Steven? You said you forgave us for our bad behavior a while back. Calm down Danno, I did. Cath & I just wanted this one to be with a little private. Even though we both forgiven you, I just didn't want any bad memories for her. I plan on telling you today. You are still going to be my best man in the bigger one. I would never get married without you being a part of it. Even though you drive me crazy sometimes, man, you've been there for me and you my brother. Congrats buddy and I am so happy for you. It's about time Steven, you finally marry the best thing that happen to you. If Lou is with you tell him the same thing. I will and tell Catherine thank God she finally got your ass to the altar, and they both laughed.
-"The second wedding date is finally approaching. The wedding was beautiful, her mom and Mary cried during the whole ceremony. Her dress was beautiful, and Steve was handsome as ever in his dress white. At the reception Steve made a speech, thanking his family and friends for being there. He also told Catherine not a day goes by that he is not grateful that she is in his life and that without her, he is nothing. She made him a better man, and she is the love of life. They danced and went home and celebrated all night long. Time passed, and the baby was due any day. They finally agreed to name him after Catherine's dad, which also covered Joe's name and Steve's dad. Joseph John McGarrett, they will call him JJ. Steve was nervous after Catherine's water broke; he was saying he was ready with only his boxer on. Catherine was laughing, but that hurt. He ran back upstairs, got his pants on, and had them in the hospital in record time. A couple of hours their beautiful baby boy was born. Eyes and chin like Steve's, Catherine's hair and nose. After all they had been through, they were right where they were supposed to be. One big happy family. He was beyond happy that not only did he think every time he close his eyes, he thought of her but now he could see and be with her every day.
