Platform 9 and three quarters was as bustling as it ever was on winter holidays parents and children reuniting for the first time since September 1st excited chatter filled the air as Harry scanned the area looking for his two
Politely waving to friends or coworkers who were on the platform to pick up their children while ignoring the whispers and stares of those who only saw the boy who lived
There'd always would be people who'd want to stare at the slayer of Voldemort though thankfully it had died down over the years since the end of the war or Harry would have never been able to set foot on Diagon alley
"I don't see them do you" Harry asked Ginny who shook her head
"There they are" Albus pointed towards a crowd Harry could make out Delphis curly hair and a flash of silver and green as she moved through a crowd pulling hers and James trolley James following her
"Delphi" Lily cheered running through the crowd tackling into Delphi nearly knocking the wind out of her
"Hi Lily nilly" Delphi said picking her up "you're getting big I thought we had a deal you would stay little and cute forever"
"Nuh uh" Lily laughed as Delphi tickled her Harry Ginny and Albus walked over Delphi smiled brilliantly at him
"Hi daddy" Delphi pulled Harry into a one armed hug Lily joining in from her perch Harry smiled hugging his daughters
"What no hug for your poor old mum" Ginny faux complained
"Or your favorite brother" Albus added joining in on the teasing
"Hey I'm her favorite brother" James argued
"No I am"
"I love you both equally" Delphi countered putting Lily down she gave her mother a kiss on the cheek before hugging her brothers close
"How was term" Harry asked taking a trolley
"Good but tough no one tells you how bloody tough NEWT classes become" Delphi answered
"I thought the same thing in my sixth year" he told her to this day he could still feel the cramp in his hand from writing so many essays
Delphi nodded a faint hint of a blush on her face no doubt she was thinking of a certain muggle boy that she thought she was being discreet about seeing on breaks "still its nice to have a break"
"Yeah to song your boyfriend" James teased
"That's none of your business you little booger" Delphi retorts giving him an affectionate noogie
"That's not a denial"
Harry shook his head at his two oldest children rough housing "Delphi let go of your brother James who your sister chooses to song is none of your business"
"Daddy" Delphi exclaimed mortified
"Muggle magical squib or any other sentient I support your love life so long as you're happy honey" Harry told her "though I'd like to meet this boy "
"Harry" Ginny playfully warned
"What it's my god given right as her father to threaten any and all boyfriends " Harry replied with a cheeky grin
"Mind if I help with that shovel talk I could use the practice" a familiar voice asked Lily Albus and James ran over to their uncle Dudley hugging him and their heavily pregnant Aunt Ji
"Mum they're going to get up on poor Finlay" Delphi looked to Ginny for help "dad didn't get the shovel talk from grandpa"
"Don't worry Delphi I'll keep your uncle away your father is a whole other story" Ji promised
"Your fathers just teasing luv" Ginny promised patting her eldest on the shoulder
The teasing of their sister done James and Albus were talking to their Dursley cousins
James and Artemis were talking about their chances of getting on the Gryffindor quidditch team together Artemis' scarlet and gold dyed braid moving about animatedly as she spoke
While Apollo was entertaining Albus with a story of a funny thing that happened in the Ravenclaw common room
Besides his father/half brother in a Royal navy hoodie trousers and snow covered boots talking to Lily about the latest episode of some kids cartoon they both enjoyed was DJ Dursley
A happy little boy who had no idea the crazy circumstances revolving around his birth or the lengths Dudley had gone through to keep him from becoming a fine upstanding bigot who was 'perfectly normal thank you very much' like his father and aunt before him
The last Harry heard Marge was still in prison for her inhumane treatment towards the bulldogs she bred
"Mum dad can I go over to uncle Harry's house pleassee" DJ asked drawing out the please
"Yeah pleassssseeeee" Lily added her cuteness to DJs a more powerful combination than the imperius curse

"You two are going to play tomorrow today we're getting your siblings unpacked and doing some errands" Ji cut in immune to the power of the puppy dog pouts the cousins looked to each other shrugging that their plea hugging and promising to see each other tomorrow
Harry and Dudley looked to each other smiling
"See you tomorrow Dudley"
"Looking forward to it" Dudley replied before walking off with his family Harry walking away with his until the two cousins would see each other again
It was funny Harry never thought that he would have reconciled with Dudley he never thought their wives would get along with each other that the Dursleys would be getting jumpers from Molly Weasley every Christmas or come to the burrow for Boxing Day dinner
That Dudley's children would call him uncle Harry or their kids would be best mates
Yes all of that had been a surprise
But it was a welcome one
All was well

Their kids get along with each other
Delphi is a slytherin dating a muggle
Artemis is a gryffindor with James and Apollo is a ravenclaw
All is well for the Potters and the Dursleys
