Chapter 7: The price to stay
After the amazing performance by Other Alastor and Other Angel dust, Stolas and Other Blitzo walked up the stairs and saw Other Charlie and Other Vaggie as they were smiling up the stairs "Hay there" said Vaggie happy to see Stolas "Was it wonderful dear?" Asked Other Charlie as they walked home to the house "Oh it was amazing they swooped down and pulled me right out of my seat, I mean other Alastor and Other Angel dust, but they weren't demons they were humans, beauful handsome humans and we were flying around the air *Holds his arms out in a spin as he felt excited as he smiled* it…it was magic" he said wistfully as Other Blitzo smiled seeing Stolas happy "You really like it here do you Stolas?" Asked Other Charlie as they made it to the back door as Other Blitzos started to look guilty as Stolas saw him and thought it was to say good by "Well…good night Blitzy" he said as he walked through the door with Other Vaggie as Other Charlie stood behind and gestured to smile harder before joining the others.
"You love everything around here right?" Asked Other Charlie "I do" said Stolas happy to be in such a bright and beautiful place with amazing sights and sounds and more "you know you can stay here forever…if you want to" said Other Charliie as they walked into the dinning room area "Really?" Asked Stolas his tail feathers wagging a bit in happiness "sure we'll sing and play games and Mother will cook your favorite meals" she said as Stolas sat down at one end at the table "There just one tiny little thing we need to do" said Other Charlie as she gently pulled out a box with a green bow on top as she pushed it close to Stolas "For you…our little doll" she said gently as Stolas in excitment opened the box…but frowned seeing that there were four black demonic google eyes and a needle and a roll of thread "black is traditional, but if you want you can have pin…or vermillion or Chartreuse" she said as her eyes and Other Vaggie eyes to change as she tapped the bottom part of her eye "Though you might make me jelious" she said as Stolas four eyes widened as he realized that to stay he need to sacrifice his old eyes.
"NO WAY! *Pushes the box as Other Charlie grabbed it* I dont want you sewing those eyes on me!" He yelled "But if you want to stay you need to say yes" said Other Charlie "Its so sharp you won't feel a thi-"started Other Vaggie but Other Charlie kicked her leg to stop her "Its okay now, its your decision luv, we only want what's best for you" said Charlie pushing the box to him as Stolas studied it "Umm, its getting late I'm just gonna go to bed now" he said "Bed?" Asked Other Charlie "Before dinner?" Asked Other Vaggie as Stolas got out of the chair "uh yeah yeah I am really, really tired *Fake yawns* I just need to sleep on things briefly" he said as he walked to the stairs slowly "of course you do Luv…I'll be happy to tuck you in" said Other Charlie sweetly as Stolas shook his head "Its okay I can do it myself" he said as he yelped seeing the other version of his moms blocking the stairways "Ok I understand, and I (tugs Other Vaggie) we aren't worried at all Luv (Softly) soon you'll see things *taps Stolas beak* our way" she said with a grin as they moved away to allow Stolas to go upstairs "Right…goodnight both of you" he said as he climbed up the stairs and once he reached the top…he ran into his room as he slammed the door close as the dragonflies poked at him "What's wrong Stolas? Dont you want to play?" Tehy asekd as the owl grabbed them frowning as he started to grab his toys and even the photo of his freinds as he stuffed them in his chest as he heard them ask to stay as he locked them in his chest and then barricaded the door with his dresser, chair and locked chest "I am going home tonight you robots, and I won't be back!" He said as he removed his boots as he dove under the covers curling in a ball as he shut his eyes close whispering to go to sleep as he tossed and turned trying to relax as he breathed slowly as voices echoed in his mind.
Other Charlies voice: just one tiny little thing to do
Other Vaggies voice: so sharp you won't feel a thing
He gently whispered to go to sleep as he slowly fell asleep relaxing
Other charlies voice: soon you'll see things our way
Soon Stolas went to sleep as his breathing slowed as he relaxed…after a bit he woke up smiling hoping he got home "Mama Charlie Mama Vaggie I'm home" he said pushing off his sheets…but saw he was still in the other world "Oh dear god" he muttered. Minutes later Stolas came down stairs as he tried to pull the doors to the living room but they were stuck hard as they were locked "Not good I cant get out this way" said Stolas worried but his worries were broken when he heard the sound of a piano from the music room as he got curious as he walked over and opened the door to it, but when he did he sawed Vaggie…but something was wrong, she had long imp like horns and poking from her behind was a imp tail and her skin was reddening as she hit notes on the piano over and over "hay! Where is the other Charlie? I want to go home" said Stolas as the sound of a sour note was heared as Stolas flinched as the other Vaggie turned her eyes now yellow as she looked less like a female…but more male as the glasses slipped over her…his eyes "*Male voice* all will be ok soon as Papa is refreshed his strength is our strength" she? He said but the mechanical Hans popped the piano covering there mouth wagging a finger and shoving them forward "Must…talk when papas not here" they said as Stolas got confused and worried "Who are you? And if you won't talk to me then I will find the other Blitzo he will help me" said Stolas as the other Vaggie laughed "You can try little owlet but he pulled a long face *Then with disguisement they pulled there mouth horribly wide revealing it was a mask as it fell off* and papa didnt like it" they…no he said revealing the face of a imp with glass as a wig fell off revealing short white hair and a stubble showing a messiness as Stolas gasped "Who…" he started as the hands popped out as he was aggressively shut up and slammed into a piano as blood dripped from his nose as Stolas eyes widened as he ran away out of the house wanting to get away running pass the other garden then to the steep hillside area panting as he continued as he passed through the orchard but took note of something odd.
As he continued forward the apple trees looked like they were being made of paper machete as a lime green mist seemed to form "What is going on? Where is the well?" He wondered confused and worried as he heard a slight yip as he saw Loona at his side "And what does a little chick is doing?" She asked "Well…I am getting out of here that is what I am doing" he asked as it soon felt like he was walking in a bare looking land with a sickly green smoke curling and forming all over "What is going on? What is this place? Should the old well be here" Asked stolas confused "Nothing is out her in this space, its the empty part of this world" said Loona "Empty?" Asked Stolas "He only made what could impress you, there was no need to expand beyond the well" said Loona "But why? Why would other Charlie want me?" Asked Stolas as Loona shrugged "Maybe he wants something to love I think with how greedy that tub of lard is, something that Is not him or *chuckles* maybe something to eat, even though he gets enough" said Loona chuckling confusing Stolas "Eat? That's ridicules, mothers or even fathers dont eat sons!" Said Stolas as Loona chuckled "I dont know, how do you taste?" She asked chuckling as Stolas made a face as he noticed a familiar house appearing in the green mist as it seems to return to normal as it reshaped through the mist confusing Stolas "Weird how can you walk away from something and still come back to it?" He wondered "Easy chick, walk around the world" said Loona non chalancly "Small world" said Stolas "A spiders web only need to be big enough to capture flies" said Loona as Stolas flinched as Loona ear twitched as she changed to her pup form "Hang on" she said as a noise was heard as she jumped into a bush as a mousse named Jerry yelped as he ran out blowing a horn but at that moment in a split second Loona pounced and grabbed him with her teeth.
"Stop stop that is one of the circus mice" said Stolas but Loona just tossed Jerry up and bit hard on his neck as Stolas watched in horror as Jerry stretched and morph turning into a blue creature with green google eyes called a Flood as sand poured out of its mouth as Loona dropped the thing "I do not like Unversed at the best of times, but this was sounding a alarm" she said cooly as she picked up the remains and headed off into a hole and vanished as Stolas was in awe "Good puppy" he said as he took a breath as he got a serious face he needed to get into the house and face the other Charlie and get home.
No matter the risk.
Authors note: Things are heating up and by heating up I mean Stolas is really close to finding out the truth.
Next chapter Stolas confronts Other Charlie only to learn of the horrid truth about 'her' and of the world that once was a dream but became a nightmare!
