Izuku was going to join U.A. High. They all doubted him. Just because he had the worst grades in school, didn't understand basic logic, and couldn't find hay in a haystack. He was also quirkless, but nobody mentioned that. He would prove them all wrong and become the greatest hero of all time.

He recently got a new quirk from All Might. All he had to do was clean a beach. He simply paid someone else to do it so he got the quirk immediately. He was able to train and got up to ten percent power. All Might said he was a fighting prodigy, but it would help to hit the books. He listened but ended up getting banned from the library.

It was the day of the entrance exam and he was listening to Present Mic's speech. It was basically, 'punch robots a whole bunch.' He wasn't paying much attention. It was pretty boring.

At some point during the presentation, he heard a voice. "Would you help me?"

"Yeah, sure," he was about to say, looking around for who asked. He then found himself facedown on a bed.

What happened was very clear. He was dreaming of going to the U.A. entrance exam and he woke up.

His room was different, with much less All Might merchandise. There was only a single action figure and poster. He must've misremembered how he decorated his room.

He got up and checked the time on his alarm clock. It was almost time to leave for the exam. He pulled the curtains, but they didn't move. It was like they were stapled closed.

He liked natural lighting, but lightbulbs were fine as well. He switched on the lights and looked in the mirror. He was wearing the same clothes as the exam. Clearly, it was a case of him being over-excited for the exam and getting dressed the night before. This was fine, he'd done it before and nothing bad came of it.

He quickly checked his pockets for his things. He had his phone, wallet, and the brochure for the entrance exam. Weird, he shouldn't have it. He stopped thinking about it and threw it away.

He left the room.

His mother was already up, she was cooking. An omelet, rice bowl, and a small bowl of miso soup on the table. She noticed him. "You go ahead and eat your breakfast, honey. I'll be there soon," she said. She was acting a little differently, but Izuku didn't care, there was breakfast to eat.

In his dream, Izuku didn't have breakfast. His mother wasn't there to cook for him and he wasn't allowed to by himself. The last time he tried to cook he ended up in the hospital.

He was almost done with his meal when his mother sat down. She had the same food as him. "Um, Izuku." She got his attention. "The U.A. entrance exam is today. That is if you want to go outside today." She spoke as if he knew what she was talking about. That was different than usual.

She took out a note and put it on the table. It had the U.A. logo as the seal. "You also got this letter."

Izuku picked it up and opened it. He skimmed it and it said how he should do the exam and blah blah blah. There was something about memory loss but that probably didn't matter.

He finished his food. "I'll be on my way," said Izuku. "See you later. Love you." His mother gave him an odd look. He left. He started on his way to the exam.

Izuku walked up to the main U.A. building. It was large and magnificent. It was even better the second time.

He was there very early so there weren't many other people. He walked to a desk that had 'Entrance Exam Check-In, G-L' written on it.

A pro hero was sitting there. It was Cementoss, the cement hero. He could help him.

"Excuse me. Where can I check in for the entrance exam," said Izuku.

"Is the sign there?" Cementoss looked over to look at it.

"It's there, I just don't know where it wants me to go it doesn't have any arrows on it." Cementoss stared at him blankly. "Most signs have arrows on them. Did you know that?"

"You're not the brightest person, are you?"

"I have been told that, yes."

Cementoss opened the packet of paper on the table. "Name?"

"Izuku Midoriya."

"Ohh," Cementoss said with surprise. "All Might's kid." He gave him a paper. "Go here."

Izuku read it. It said 'Room 107' on it. He started going there.

A few minutes later, he realized that he was lost. He needed to use the bathroom and took a wrong turn. Then never found the bathroom.

The school was like a maze. Everything looked the same, the windows were distracting, and he was sure he passed that stain at least fifty times.

He was walking for some time when he heard laughter. He stopped and followed it to a girl with green hair, spiky teeth, and crazy eyes. "You know you've been walking in circles for ten minutes?"

"Yes, this place is a goddamn maze. Like it's designed to keep you trapped forever."

"It's a grid. It's easier to get lost in a child's play place." That was embarrassing.

"Well, you weren't there. I was also distracted because I need to piss. I've been frantically looking for a bathroom."

"You mean that bathroom?" She pointed across the hall to a door with 'bathroom' written on it. There was a boy silhouette and a girl one on different doors.

Izuku walked in without talking. He quickly used the bathroom and washed his hands. When he got out, the girl was still there. "Quick question. Where is this room?" He gave her the paper.

She smiled. "Hey, I'm going there too. Just follow me." He did.

She navigated the halls flawlessly. With two turns, Izuku would've gotten lost immediately. "Wow, how did you do that?"

She pointed left. Izuku looked. The table with Cementoss was right there with the other tables. Long lines have formed on each one. "The entrance is over there. How did you get a recommendation," she seemed annoyed, but something else was much more important.

"I was recommended? Why didn't I know about this?"

"Didn't you get a letter," she nearly screamed.

"I skimmed it." He took out the letter and gave it to her. She read it.

Her eyes widened. "Oh, shit." She looked at him and laughed loudly. It lasted a full minute.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing. I just find it hard to believe that you of all people got this kind of letter."

"What did it say?" Izuku really didn't want to read the letter.

"I'm not telling you." She walked into the room.

It must've not been important. Izuku immediately disregarded it and walked into the room.

There were multiple desks, and some of them had people. He took a seat in the middle and waited patiently.

After a little bit, the pro hero Snipe walked in. He explained the test, and Izuku was sure he got the gist of it. The hero passed out the papers with some pencils. He then started the test.

Izuku turned over the paper and read the top. 'Name_' was the first question. He put 'U.A. Entrance Exam' as his answer. It was the obvious answer.

The second question had 'Question 1' on it for some reason. It said 'Solve for X.' There was a picture of a triangle with lines on it. There were a few numbers and an X as well.

The answer was impossible. Who is this 'X' guy? He wrote that and continued.

He answered a few more questions until he was suddenly sitting on a piece of rubble. A giant robot inches away from hitting him.

He used some of One for All to dodge and then destroy it. He was obviously in the practical exam. He started destroying other robots.

It was clear to him what happened. He fell asleep during the boring presentation and sleep-walked into the practical. No other explanation made sense. Mostly because he didn't think about it too hard as he punched the robots into smithereens.

A.N.: What if Izuku Midoriya was stupid? I took that idea and took it to the absolute extreme. He's oblivious to literally everything and never learns anything. But he can punch things well. That makes him smart right? Because battle intelligence translates to normal intelligence.

If you want this as a full story, for some reason. I am giving it up for adoption. Go nuts.
