Like in chapter 1 this is part of the Kairi Uzumaki series hence why I listed the disclaimer as the same as in Kairi Uzumaki despite this technically being only in the Naruto series.
AN1: I am happy I was able to post two chapters of this story before chapter 14 was released in Boruto two Blue Vortex was released! I will say I not beholden to whatever is shown in chapter 14 as I have my own vision of the story and Naruto presence already caused ripple in the Boruto timeline.
Yes, I realize that Sarada (and presumably Sumire) are suppose to be 15 by the time of the timeskip but I am changing them to 16. It just works better for my story. I am rounding up the events of the original Boruto to take place over about a year instead a few months so everyone has had a birthday by the time the original Boruto ends. Its not a big difference anyways as Naruto will eventually leave the world (and possibly come back who knows).
Before people complain I am NOT bashing Kawaki. Matter of Fact Naruto still doesn't have any interest in killing Kawaki despite disagreeing with his methods and ideology. This is still an AU so characters will act differently then their canon counterparts.
Chapter 2 Kawaki is in a grumpy mood
"Wait one last thing Hima." Naruto stated just as both him and Hima were about to vanish completely from the mindscape. It was just their waist ups for them both.
"Hmm is something the matter Papa?" Hima asked with a cute head tilt as Naruto smiled before his expression turned serious making Hima and her Kurama look worried.
"There is something I need to ask you not to do when you return. Something that is deeply important to me." Naruto stated seriously as Hima gulped looking at the bigger Kurama for help but that Kurama just closed his eyes and rested on his paw. Unlike Naruto and Hima the Kurama seemed to be intact showing they existed in the mindscape instead of just visiting.
"You better not think Sasuke is super cool! Definitely do not get a crush on him you hear me Dattebayo!" Naruto whined as Hima gaped at him.
"Where did that come from and what are talking about Dattebane?!" Hima asked comically using her grandmother verbal tick without thinking.
Naruto crossed his arms and pouted as he looked rather annoyed.
"I know girls your age start to look up and even crush on older men! It's just a natural thing that Hinata and Sakura-chan told me about once. When I was growing up in the academy besides your mother all the girls fawned over Sasuke over and over again! It was always 'Sasuke-kun is so cool!' 'Sasuke-kun is so handsome!' 'Sasuke-kun will you be mine!'. Over and over again that is all I heard when I was growing up!" Naruto complained as Hima was still gaping at his immature side.
"I told you to get over it Naruto. You are in the International Hero who everyone looks up to while Sasuke past is still something people are wary of." Naruto Kurama sighed as the smaller Kurama nodded along with his larger counterpart.
"Uh Papa? What does you… um having issues with Sasuke-san have to do with me?" Himawari asked awkwardly finding this side of Naruto rather odd but oddly endearing as if she was seeing a side of him she didn't know about before.
Naruto coughed before looking deep into Hima's eyes.
"The point is Hima…. I don't want you be like other girls and judge someone based on their looks. I know Sasuke purely on a physical level is what girls your age fawn over. I don't want that for you. I want you have a real relationship based on trust and mutual interests and love." Naruto told her with paternal love flowing through his tone and face.
"Papa…." Hima mumbled as she blushed feeling rather touched this version of her father giving her rather nice advice.
However, the next words made Hima drop her head in embarrassment.
"Of course I mean way down the line. Like years and years before you should date anyone at all let alone think of making love or anything of the sort. Even kissing or holding hands with a boy should not be on your pure mind. You are far too young and innocent for anything of the sort." Naruto stated firmly as he closed his eyes in a stubborn way.
"Papa…. I don't have those kinds of feelings! Plus Uncle Sasuke is pretty much family! I wouldn't have a crush on him in any way! That is gross!" Hima claimed as she glared at her alternate father.
Naruto let out a sigh of relief as he grinned patting her on her head as she gave a cute pout but leaned into his hand.
"Anyways if anything I feel girls my age or Sarada-chan age will likely more likely get a crush on You Papa then Uncle Sasuke." Hima commented with a teasing smile that grew when Naruto tilted his head.
"Really? The girls in my age group have commented on Sasuke's good looks but never really on mine. Although several girls from outside the village seem to be rather fond of me so maybe Konoha girls are simply too used to me to think of me as good looking?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow. AN2:
Hima giggled when both Kurama rolled their eyes.
"That is putting it lightly Naruto. It seems that the girls in Konaha could only see you as a pest for acting like an idiot or the hero could be depended on. Outside the village however it seems the looks . you inherited from your parents and your tendency to save girls is actually charming traits for them." Naruto Kurama commented as Hima let out a giggle.
"I can see why other girls would find you attractive Papa. You seem to attract trouble an d solve issues wherever you go. That makes you quite the hero huh?" Hima asked with a wink.
Naruto let out a laugh as Hima and Naruto were nearly awake having only their heads left in the mindscape.
"See you when I wake up Papa." Hima told him warmly as they shared identical grins.
"Hima… Remember as far as anyone know this conversation hasn't happened. You are still Kawaki sister until I I undo Omnipotence. As far as anyone knows Himawari Uzumaki doesn't hate Boruto but she still wary of him. Kawaki won't know you are not being affected by the switch." Naruto warned her looking sadly at her even as Hima nodded her head.
"I know. Boruto-Ni-chan has been alone all this time and I want to hug like before…" Hima admitted sadly before she closed her eyes.
"However, for the sake of the world I can wait just a little longer. Sarada-chan and Sumire-chan have believed in Boruto-Ni-chan when no one else did so I will give them a clue that I know Boruto is innocent." Hima stated with determination.
Just as Hima and Naruto vanished completely Hima heard Naruto's voice again.
"That's my girl. I am proud of you. I couldn't ask for a better daughter if I could ask for one." Naruto told her proudly.
"I am proud of you too Papa! You might not think you are worthy of Aunty Kairi but you are worthy in my opinion!" Hima yelled back with tears of pride and happiness in her eyes.
'… You really are a kind child Hima-chan. A family with you and Boruto huh…. I am not sure where my future will go on past saving Kairi but if I could make a wish, I would want to visits this world and others afterward. If only to say hi once again.' Naruto thought as he begun to wake up. AN3:
Hima woke up as time resumed in the world just as X-blade told Naruto it would. Hima dropped to her knees with Naruto standing in front of her with his hand in front of her face.
'Papa… Everything that happened in there happened in less then a moment but it felt like a world of experiences with him.' Hima realized as her heart started to race.
'Boruto-Nii-chan is hurt and until Papa released Omnipotence on me my feelings of love for Boruto felt muted as they were what I had for Kawaki not the real feelings I had.' Hima thought as she had quickly glanced over at Boruto who was lying in Sumire's arms with his head cradled in her arms and his body leaning against her.
While Hima was being overwhelmed by her renewed feelings for Boruto to everyone else it looked like she had been hit by something.
"Himawari-chan!" Konohamaru yelled in concern seeing the daughter of his Sensei fall to her knees with a blank expression.
'Did that guy hit her with some sort of Genjutsu when he looked at her?' Konohamaru thought having heard stories of the Sharingan being infamous for making Genjutsu just from visual contact.
Kawaki narrowed his eyes as he felt a protective urge to protect Himawari flow through him.
"Get away from her." Kawaki threatened with a calm but angry voice.
Kawaki transformed his right arm into something like a gray scythe with three prongs as he used this new arm to swing at Naruto in a downward slash. Naruto leapt up easily avoiding the swing as Kawaki swing made a small crater from the impact. Naruto was pursued by Kawaki who leapt after him in mid air but Naruto showed his agility by spinning in midair to avoid his swings until he landed back onto his feet. Naruto casually bobbed and weaved away from Kawaki swings much to his anger.
Sumire and Himawari took the opportunity to rush forward to grab Himawari and drag her away by her arms to safety.
"Himawari-chan! Are you alright?" Sarada asked the younger girl with concern.
"Sarada-chan…." Himawari mumbled looking at Sarada strangely making her even more concerned.
"Did that guy do something to you?" Sumire asked as she placed a hand on her forehead to check if she had a fever.
Himawari shook her head before she used to her hand to gesture them to come closer. Sarada and Sumire faces were next to her lips as their eyes widened.
"Act natural. Don't make any sudden moves. I know Boruto is my real brother and not Kawaki. I remember the truth." Himawari whispered as her expression was serious watching Naruto, Kawaki and Konohamaru with hawk like eyes.
"What…. Are you talking about Hima-chan…?" Sarada asked in disbelief almost as if she couldn't believe what Himawari was saying.
"Stay quiet and calm. We can't speak freely right now in case someone from the sensory unit or the Yamanaka Clan is listening in. I am no longer under the effects of Omnipotence as Papa undid them on during that brief moment of visual contact." Himawari mumbled into their ears.
The girls were wide eyed in surprise at the information and even more so when Himawari said 'Papa'.
"Wait by 'Papa' you mean Lord Seventh? He is under the Hood?!" Sumire whispered urgently as Himawari nodded and shook her head slightly.
"Its complicated…. I am sure he will explain once he lets himself be captured to go to Lord 8th…. Just know he is not out enemy and its because of him Boruto Nii-chan can be saved." Himawari whispered referring to Boruto as her brother once again. She sent them a discreet look to make it seem like they hadn't been talking.
Sumire and Sarada exchanged quick glances and nodded as Sumire released Himawari's forehead.
"It's alright Konohamaru-Sensei! It seems Himawari-chan hasn't suffered any damage! She was just surprised at the enemies popping out of nowhere!" Sumire claimed loudly with Konohamaru letting a sigh of relief.
On the ground Naruto with his hood up was continuing to dance around the wild but quick swings of Kawaki.
"It seems you are mostly self taught when it comes to your fighting style Kawaki. Perhaps instead of trying to fight the Otsutsuki you should get someone to teach you?" Naruto suggested as he showed his strength as he caught and parried a strike from scythe-like arm with his forearm and he didn't get cut.
"Grr… Shut up…. You, Boruto…. Those stupid trees… and Code…. All of you should just vanish and get out of my way!" Kawaki shouted in anger as he tried to use Sukunahikona with his left eye to send a barrage of rods at him at point blank rage.
Instead, just as Kawaki's eye pulsated Naruto sent him flying with a simple kick making him crash into the ground with a trench making him groan. The black rods clanged useless around him as they were forced to return to their normal size due to Kawaki lack of concentration.
"Sorry about that. Even if I couldn't sense your charka building up you moves are rather easy to predict." Naruto apologized giving him a look of pity that Kawaki couldn't see with his hood up.
"Sensory team! There is an unknown person in the leaf! He has defeated Delta and making quick work of Kawaki! Tell Lord 8th and see if we can get a match for his chakra!" Konohamaru stated urgently as he tapped under his ear showing he had a headset to talk to the Sensory cor.
Naruto then appeared behind him looking at his alternate self grown up apprentice with a look of sadness. Before Konohamaru could mount a defence Naruto sent a quick and efficient chop on Konohamaru neck making him collapse in one hit.
"It's not your fault you can't see what is really happening Konohamaru and I don't really want to fight you or even Kawaki if I am being honest." Naruto admitted as his blue eyes closed briefly.
"….. Who are you? Why does it feel like I should know…..?" Konohamaru mumbled as he tried to look up at Naruto and from his angle he could see his chin underneath his hood.
"…. I…." Naruto started to say before his chin shifted as he looked up at the direction, he had sent Kawaki.
Kawaki had stood up with a cold and angered expression. He had gotten up due to the modifications done to his body allowing him to regenerate and heal damage at an accelerated rate allowing him to brush off damage especially as Naruto was not truly trying to harm him.
'Tch seems like this brat will not stay down and it feels like this next one is for keeps for him. Kawaki really needs to think before he acts as this is why he makes enemies so easily.' Naruto thought glumly.
"You really should get out of my way… Anyone who is a threat to him will be erased. I don't care if you are my mother, father, child or even brother. I will get rid of any threat." Kawaki stated darkly briefly looking at the unconscious Boruto with a look of indifference and the just slightest hint of sadness which Naruto caught.
'He really is only focused on protecting the Naruto from this world not matter if that is what he wants or not huh.' Naruto thought with pity.
Kawaki put his left hand out with his palm facing Naruto showing a black diamond in the palm of his hand. The marking was the physical representation of his Kama. It shimmered and glowed before it turned red and expanded the markings crossing his left arm and the left side of his face and around his eye which was still in its Kokugan(Black eye) form making his expression seem more menacing.
Kawaki started to gather chakra in the palm of his hand as his red markings glowed from his Kama seemingly increasing his power. The chakra formed into the shape of a dark red beam which drastically grew quickly in size and power.
"Kawaki! Stop! You can't release that in the village! You will destroy a large portion of it at this range!" Sarada snapped at him.
"…" Kawaki was silent seemingly ignoring everyone else and only focused on the Hooded Naruto as he continued to gather chakra in the palm of his hand.
"Everyone… run…" Konohamaru mumbled as he stumbled onto his hand and knees looking at Kawaki weakly.
"Be gone." Kawaki stated darkly as he released the chakra in the form of a red chakra blast zooming towards Naruto who frowned.
"Tch brat. To think he would stupid enough to release that inside the village. He claims he wants to protect the village but he doesn't seem to have any issue destroying it as well." Naruto noted as Konohamaru looked at him in confusion.
'I could blow it away by sending it into Kamui's Dimension.' Naruto thought as his right eye briefly appeared in its Mangekyō Sharingan form indicating he could use the long range or short range versions with that single eye before it returned to his blue eye.
'I could use a Teleportation Barrier using Flying Rajin to move it a marked kunai I have somewhere else.' Naruto thought as he briefly considered picking up a marked kunai from his kunai pouch.
'I could simply absorb it using the Preta Path through my Rinnegan just like absorbing a Destruction beam or Dust Release.' Naruto mused as his left eye turned into a tomoe Rinnegan form a moment.
'Nah. Those are the boring options. If I am going to come out as Naruto Uzumaki I gotta do something only he would think of.' Naruto decided as he walked calmly towards the red chakra blast without a worry showing this all took place in the spam of less time than it took for the chakra blast to come towards him.
"Everyone get down!" Sumire shouted as she and Sarada grabbed Himawari and leapt away.
Naruto put a hand behind him as he gathered yellow chakra which was in a form of a ball in the middle of his palm but quickly transformed as it formed four shuriken like blades that curved around the center which retained its ball shape. Then it transformed again as Naruto instantly added more chakra transforming the Wind Release: Rasengan to its next and complete level.
Kawaki's red chakra blast continued to soar towards Naruto as it started to expand and explode.
Himawari was covered by Sumire and Sarada even as Himawari whisker marks grew bigger and her teeth started to turn to fangs showing she was drawing on Kurama power.
"Kawaki you idiot!" Sarada screamed even as she covered her eyes from the blast as they braced themselves expecting the blast to destroy the city block around them.
Unseen to everyone else Naruto Wind Release: Rasengan had 'evolved' into the Wind Release: Rasen-Shuriken as the shuriken like blades grew massive and let out a screeching like noise which everyone didn't notice due to focusing on Kawaki's attack. Naruto casually threw the Rasen-Shuriken into the blast just as he was about to be enveloped by the explosion and impact.
Suddenly everyone felt a massive burst of wind as they saw the blast start getting pushed back and eventually upwards due to an opposing yellow force of chakra slamming into and pushing it back.
"What?! What kind of power is this?!" Kawaki shouted in anger and slight fear as he felt his full power chakra blast be overwhelmed by a single attack even when he had powered up by his Kama.
"Kawaki-kun blast is being overpowered…." Himawari noted with awe notable using 'kun' instead of 'Nii-chan' showing she was not focused on acting the part at the moment and was just amazed.
"So powerful…" Sumire added with her eyes glittering with delight as she clasped her hands together looking rather adorable if anyone was watching.
After a few moments of Kawaki chakra blast being overpowered even as Kawaki tried to empower it with more chakra the blast was sent into the air high above Konoha and then sent flying along with the smaller yellow blast far away from Konoha itself.
"Everyone…. You might want to brace yourself. The explosion is rather intense especially for people seeing it for the first time." Naruto warned them seriously with a hint of a smile of amusement especially when he saw the awe on Himawari and Sumire faces. He glanced over at Sarada who was holding onto her injured arm as if by instinct expecting it to hurt while she glanced at Boruto with worry. Kawaki was just growling as he clenched his fist while Konohamaru was still panting but notably had a look of relief.
Naruto then placed his hands on the ground after making hand signs so quick they appeared little more then a twitch to someone who did not have a form of the Sharingan to analyze his hand signs themselves.
Everyone heard the screeching sound increase drastically as the Rasen-Shuriken started to completely overpower Kawaki's red chakra beam shown as the yellow eclipsed the red chakra. There was a sonic boom as the Rasen-Shuriken expanded and exploded. Despite the Rasen-Shuriken carrying the blast many miles away from the village itself and far into the forest everyone in the village could hear the sonic boom and the massive explosion in the distance.
Naruto had created an Earth Style Wall that was much higher than the walls of Konoha covering an entire side of the wall in the direction of the blast.
"What kind of blast was that!"
"Mommy I am scared!"
"Is this another attack?!" Random civilians and ninjas screamed in fear as they covered their faces and had their loved ones cover them with their bodies.
Sumire held down her short skirt and Himari held down her loose shirt along with any females wearing loose clothes to prevent them from getting lifted up from the wind blast that shot through the village as Naruto's Earth Wall had diverted the blast away from the village and only wind had gone into the village.
"I can't believe his attack did so much damage even after destroying Kawaki's attack." Sarada noted with awe and fear.
Much to Sarada, Sumire and Himawari's surprise Konohamaru stood up shakily as he held his neck and rubbed showing he recovered enough to not be down anymore.
"Actually, we are lucky wind is all that came down at us. So don't complain. It's only because he aimed it far away from the village and created these Earth Walls to divert whatever residue explosion away from the village. If anything, Kawaki is kinda to blame as he was aiming his Chakra Blast INSIDE the village and this guy blast diverted it AWAY from the village." Konohamaru noted as Sumire and Sarada exchanged a shocked expression.
"Despite still being under Omnipotence Konohamaru-Sensei is actually chastising Kawaki and praising this guy." Sarada whispered as Sumire nodded her head.
Speaking of Kawaki he tried to use the opportunity to turn his arm into a scythe again and slice Naruto's head off while he wasn't looking from behind. Naruto simply sent a foot into Kawaki's stomach again making him cough up a small trial of blood down his stomach. This made Kawaki Kama recede back into his palm and his Kokugan(Black eye) form to tun back into Kawaki natural left eye.
"Sheesh. I keep forgetting how powerful my Jutsu are when I am not keeping them under control. No wonder I don't use them inside the village and have to fight in an empty battleground or at least divert them away like I just did." Naruto noted as he stood up and removed a kink in his neck.
Just then a large blast of wind flew through as Himawari and Sumire once again held onto their loose clothes. Then Naruto's hood finally fell down to his shoulders revealing his spikey blonde hair, his notable three whisker marks and his striking blue eyes.
"Huh I guess nature itself finally revealed me. Oh well. It was going to happen sooner or later." Naruto noted as he grinned easily.
"Everyone! Sorry for the wait! We finally identified the stranger's chakra! It kept vanishing but now we have a solid read on it after the last blast and Earth Walls!" Someone from the Sensor Team announced as the group had their eyes widened.
"It is abit different and seems to have chakra signatures that are abit odd but there is no doubt about it! The stranger chakra is….!" The same man announced.
"Lord 7th?!" Sarada gasped as she put her hands over her mouth as Himawari word about her father being freed seemed to be confirmed albeit he was younger then she remembered him.
"Hokage-sama….?" Sumire asked as she glanced at him and Boruto several times seeing the similar features.
"Lord Hokage?!" Nishi the sensory type Leaf Ninja gaped.
"Master? Naruto-Nii-chan?!" Konohamaru looked at the younger version of his master and his older brother figure who smiled gently down at him.
"Hey Konohamaru-Gaki. Well, I guess you are not quite a brat anymore. It seems you have grown up quite abit and become quite strong." Naruto noted with a proud grin.
"It is the chakra of Naruto Uzumaki! There is no doubt about it!" The Sensory Ninja finally announced.
"Huh Sarada-chan. You really do have the perfect blend of Sasuke and Sakura-chan. It is quite impressive their love gave birth to you. You truly are the apple in your parent's eyes." Naruto praised as Sarada blushed slightly at the compliment.
"Sumire-chan. You have also grown up to quite the beautiful young woman. I am sure you will be breaking hearts soon enough hehe. You might need to have a bodyguard to keep the love letters" Naruto teased as he grinned cheerfully.
"Eep! Don't say things like that!" Sumire squealed as she felt her cheeks burn and placed her hands over her cheeks. She swayed slightly with her knee length black Ninja boots that exposed her toenails with pink toenail polish. She wore a white dress shirt with a dark blue and yellow striped tie with a purple dress with a mini skirt over it that went down to her lower hips. This left a pact of skin shown from the bottom of her skirt down to shortly below her knees where her boots ended. She wore a silver bracelet on each of her wrists. Her purple eyes complimented her purple hair that was tied into twin tails that reached down to her lower back.
Naruto turned to Himawari who had her eyes closed before she opened them to stare at Naruto with a small smile.
"Hima-chan….." Naruto said quietly with a small smile as they already had said what they needed to say to each other before unknown to the others.
"Papa…. You really are here…." Hima whispered with her only showing slight surprise and a small smile. Naruto could tell she was restraining herself from running into his arms like before making him proud of her.
Meanwhile in her apartment Ada along with her younger brother Daemon were observing the events mostly through Ada comments using her Senrigan.
"So, is that really the Hokage out there Nee-chan?" Daemon asked lazily showing no fear but with a smile of amusement.
'Not that it matters. Whether its Boruto, the God Trees, Kawaki, Code or even the Hokage none of them hold a candle to number 1 me!' Daemon thought smugly.
"Hmm… He does appear to have Naruto Uzumaki's chakra but he is far younger then the Hokage that the village knows. He is closer to my age then the 8th Hokage Shika-chan." Ada noted with her Senrigan active.
The Senrigan was a Dojutsu that allowed Ada to see any current events or past events up to her birth as if she could see surveillance on the entire world at once with her eye picking and choosing at will. It made her natural left turquoise blue eye transform. The sclera of her left eye turns galaxy-patterned and her iris turns bright blue with a dark crescent moon design, two white orbit-like dots at both side and the other big planet-like pupil on the centre This allowed her to perceive events that were happening anywhere in the world or events that happened in the past and make educated guesses based on that knowledge.
"However, he does seem very strong. He knocked back Kawaki-kun twice with simple Taijutsu twice and even knocked away Kawaki-kun's strongest chakra blast enhanced with Kama with one Jutsu." Ada noted as Daemon whistled.
"Sounds so cool! I wonder if he would actually be a challenge if we thought hehe." Daemon chuckled looking amused and excited at the possibility.
Ada was a rather beautiful 19-year-old woman who liked her brother was a Cyborg who had gone through modifications by Amando enhancing her abilities. Ada had long blue that flowed freely down to her knees with loops at the tips. Her hair also had pink streaks as it was cut in Hime style above her forehead leaving her face uncovered. Ada wears an off-the-shoulder crop-top blouse with bishop sleeves and a necklace with a crescent moon and a small star pendant. She wore pink lipstick that matched her pink fingernail and toenail polish. She wore black shorts shorts leaving her legs exposed till her black high heeled sandals with light blue heels. These heels were toeless showing her pink toenail polish. For accessories she wore on her ring and pinky matching rings. She wore a thin layer blue mascara underneath her eyes. On both wrists she wore a patch of small blue bracelets. To add to her mature 'charm' she wore a pair of blue shooting star-shaped earrings on both ears.
"Nee-chan! Why do you bother to try to dress up? You could wear a garbage bag and everyone would still call you the most beautiful woman in the world!" Daemon whined with a yawn.
"Quiet Daemon…. It matters…. To me…" Ada chided with the last part in a whisper as she bit her lip gently and clenched her fist for a moment.
'I don't need another reminder of the curse that damn Amando forced onto me.' Ada thought bitterly as she was forced to have a 'charm' active on her at all time that made everyone around her essentially enslaved to her desires and whims and 'love her. This ironically robbed her of feeling of being truly loved except by blood relatives like her brother Daemon or Otsutsuki like Kawaki and Boruto.
She had learned that her 'Charm' was actually a subconscious application of her artificial Omnipotence ability to 'find true love' manifesting itself to make EVERYONE 'love' her to her hatred. While the Omnipotence that infected the entire world to believing Kawaki was the true born son of Naruto Uzumaki as 'Kawaki Uzumaki' and Boruto was an ungrateful brat who was taken in by Narto and betrayed him. That Omnipotence was a result of her activating her power and granting Kawaki wish to be able to kill Boruto without interference from Konoha or people who would have loved Boruto before.
"Now where did this Naruto Uzumaki come from? He is clearly not the same Hokage but looks and feels like him. He just appeared out of nowhere likely using some sort of Space-time Jutsu but why now? What does he want? Also what happened when he stared into little Hima's eyes? Did they have a conversation my Senrigan could not see inside their minds?" Ada noted as she continued to 'watch' the current events with her Senrigan.
"Hehe. Sounds fun. Keep my updated okay Nee-chan? I want to hear all about it." Daemon asked as he continued to grin and chuckle.
Back with Naruto and the group
Naruto unzipped his hood and pulled it off as he sealed it back into a scroll which vanished in a puff of smoke.
'Hehe I still can use for later to hide my identity. It really is quite useful to hide my appearance when I can freely hide my chakra.' Naruto mused.
Instantly Sarada and Sumire face turned red as they blushed when Naruto outfit underneath his cloak was revealed. Himawari gentle smile turned into an amused and teasing smirk as she watched her senior female ninjas being rather flustered to seeing a younger alternate version of her father.
'Told ya Papa. YOU are the one that makes girls my age or even Sarada-chan or Sumire-chan would think are super handsome. Not me of course as youa re still my Papa and that's super weird but it seems Sumire-chan and even Sarada-chan think you are rather dashing.' Himawari mused with a grin that would have made both Naruto Uzumaki smile with pride.
Unseen by the others Ada herself was fanning her face when she saw Naruto's appearance.
"Oh wow. Talk about a handsome man…. He is quite dashing…" Ada sputtered as her cheeks were a rosy red as well making Daemon frown.
"Hmph. I don't care how he looks as long as he stays away from you Nee-chan! If he makes a move on you, I will destroy him!" Daemon declared as he gritted his teeth.
"Quiet Daemon… Let us to continue to watch for now." Ada stated but her cheeks were still abit red. Her voice appeared to skip a beat for a moment as she bit her lip for a moment in concentration.
Naruto had chosen to wear a dark orange hoodie with the hood hanging from the back along with dark blue jeans along with ninja sandals. Naruto handsome face that he inherited from his mother and father wet well with his great physical peak.
"Lord 7th…." Sarada mumbled feeling an attraction to the younger form of her hero Naruto Uzumaki.
Sumire also seemed to have an attraction to Naruto as well as she fumbled with her fingers while loking away but kept peeking over at Naruto with red cheeks.
"Naruto is fine. I am not really after the…." Naruto stated kindly as he saw the knowing look from Himawari who gestured to the two young women with a subtle tilt of his head.
Naruto dashed forward as he put his hands over Sumire and Sarada foreheads as he gave them a hum.
"Hmmm… You don't see to have fevers but your cheeks are red. Are you okay?" Naruto asked with a kind and concerned look.
Sumire and Sarada face turned darker red at the close contact with Sarada looking away.
"Um… We are okay…. Thank you for helping out…." Sumire stated thankfully looking rather awkward with her blush still prominent on her cheeks.
Naruto smiled at both of them as he gave them a nod of approval.
"Alright then. Try to keep yourself safe as it would make me sad if such talented beautiful young women such as you got hurt." Naruto told them as them blushed again.
'He thinks I am pretty? I know everyone looks at Sarada-chan is super pretty but nobody really seems to notice me.' Sumire thought in embarrassment and slight amount of jealousy.
'What is wring with me? Boruto is the most important thing right now but I am getting all flustered at this man who looks like Lord 7th like I am back at the academy!' Sarada thought in embarrassment as she glanced over at Boruto who had been laid against the wall unconscious when she and Sumire went to protect Himawari.
Konohamaru smirked remembering how many love letters, his big bro got two years after the 4th Ninja war due to a national wide hero. Konohamaru then noticed Naruto's arms or rather his right arm.
"Wait! I know you seem younger than Master but what happened to your right arm?" Konohamaru pointed out as everyone saw this Naruto's right arm without bandages and looking the same colour and size as his natural left arm.
"Oh this… It's nothing really big or anything but I suppose its different for people here. You see I…." Naruto started to explain but he leapt away when he saw Kawaki stand up with a neutral expression.
"Lord 7th? How… are you?" Kawaki asked with wide eyes as a younger version of his idol was standing in front of him like it was nothing.
"Kawaki… You…" Naruto started looking at Kawaki with a sad expression.
"No….! You are not him! You might wear his face but you are not Lord 7th! You can't be!" Kawaki declared as his eyes narrowed.
'They are still in Daikokuten alternate dimension. I can feel it. This man in front of me might have his face but he is not my… father!' Kawaki thought as an imagine of the unconscious Hokage and his wife hovering in the alternate space-time appeared in his mind once again.
"Kawaki-kun! What are you saying?" Sumire snapped looking annoyed at young man who caused her crush to leave the village in the first place.
Kawaki gave her an annoyed expression before he turned back to Naruto who continued to look sadly at him.
"How do we know you are really Lord 7th huh? You could be one of those degusting Trees who got his chakra somehow and that looks more like a person then the Uchiha!" Kawaki pointed out as Konohamaru and Nishi the sensory type Leaf Ninja nodded their heads in agreement.
'Wow Omnipotence really is something else. I know Konohamaru would point out that 'Naruto Uzumaki' was reported dead three years ago by Ada herself but the effects of Omnipotence are making him agree with Kawaki without thinking about how stupid he is sounding.' Naruto noted resisted the urge to face palm.
He could tell Himawari, Sumire and Sarada were looking at Kawaki wearily due to not being affected by Omnipotence to naturally agree with Kawaki.
"Tch…. Let me put this clear Kawaki. I am Naruto Uzumaki and not one of those disgusting trees. It's just I am not the Naruto Uzumaki you know. I am one who came from a different world." Naruto explained firmly as he crossed his arms and looked at Kawaki with a frown.
This seemed to set off Kawaki even more as his Kama activated again and his left eye returned to Kokugan(Black eye) form as he formed chakra again.
"Then you are nothing to me! I will destroy you!" Kawaki announced much to Himawari, Sarada and Sumire distress.
"Get over yourself Kawaki! You can't make a decision like that by yourself! He is an ally of Kohona!" Sarada stated glaring at Kawaki.
Kawaki chose to ignore that statement as he clenched his left hand.
"Kawaki! You know its protocol to capture people who have not done things to Konoha and not kill them without a trial first! Or at least an order from Lord 8th!" Konohamaru pointed out as Kawaki turned to him looking neutrally.
"This is not time for protocol Master Konohamaru. This is an emergency and if someone complins they can tell me afterwards." Kawaki stated stubbornly and angrily turning back to Naruto.
"Ooh scary Mr. Otsutsuki destroyer however unlike other people I do not answer to you." Naruto retorted with a sign. He irritated Kawaki even more when he actually closed his eyes and put his palm over his forehead as if Kawaki just annoyed him.
Despite the situation Sarada and Sumire openly smiled at Naruto while Himawari resisted the urge to giggle. Konohamaru was looking at both Kawaki and Naruto with uncertain expressions as if he was conflicted about who to chastise at the moment.
"If you will not leave then you keep simply die in Konoha. That is all I will offer you." Kawaki announced coldly as his left eye in its Kokugan(Black eye) state pulsated.
'This chakra. He is going to use Daikokuten huh.' Naruto thought able to sense the build up of chakra and predict what Kawaki was going to do just from the chakra itself.
Naruto glanced over at Himawari and locked eyes with her as both of their whisker marks grew thicker showing that they accessed Kurama's charka from inside themselves. Naruto had his three whisker marks and Himawari had her two whisker marks on each cheek.
'Hima…. Come over and I will lend you chakra. We will stop Kawaki together.' Naruto mentally told Himawari as Himawari blinked and nodded.
'For the sake of Konoha.' Himawari replied back.
Himawari dashed forward appearing as blur just as Kawaki made his move.
"Begone. Daikokuten!" Kawaki announced as his left eye pulsated.
Himawari managed to get to Naruto's side just as a dozen massive black cubes with white lines and red outlines appeared. They appeared high into the air and started to descend down appearing to drop and crush Naruto and take away his chances of escaping by appearing in wide area. Each cube was massive being roughly the size of a full-size building.
Himawari stood by Naruto's side as she bumped fists with him even as a cube was directly above them and looked ready to crush them. There was a click as yellow chakra formed from their joined fists and surrounded them instantly.
Everyone else besides Kawaki yelled out as they jumped far away seemingly showing none of them would be able to stop the descent of the cubes.
"Kawaki you idiot! You are going to crush the village too!" Sarada shouted even as she covered her eyes expecting buildings to be crushed.
"Thump! Thump! Thump!" There were loud thuds but no collision as the group opened their eyes and gasped.
Naruto and Himawari were bathed in a yellow chakra cloak that notably created a 'jacket' for both of them that was open in the front but luckily for them the yellow chakra covered their entire body. Both Naruto and Himawari's whiskers were much thicker and notable on their cheeks. Their blue eyes had turned orange as their jacket had 'sleeves' that flowed nearly to their hands.
"I feel so powerful. So this is the power of Kurama to such a degree." Himawari noted with her voice notably deeper as she glanced at her hands in awe.
The most notable thing about Naruto and Himawari was they had 6 golden yellow chakra tails extending from their back which each of them that caught one of Kawaki's Disruption Cubes and kept them high into the air.
"Impossible! They caught them?!" Kawaki asked in disbelief with his jaw dropped.
"This is Kyubi chakra just like Lord 7ths! Both Naruto-san and Hima-chan have it and control so much chakra with such ease!" Sarada noted with awe as she resisted fangirling over the sight.
"Incredible! That is definitely Kyubi chakra so he really is a version of Master but how did Himawari get Kyubi chakra?" Konohamaru asked as the sensory ninja shuddered in fear.
"The amount of chakra they are letting out is insane… It baffles that people can have this amount of chakra." Nishi the sensory type noted with his jaw dropped.
"Hima-chan… You…!" Sumire pointed out with a slight blush partly due to finding Naruto rather heroic but also because Himawari notably changed physically as well as getting a chakra cloak.
"I do feel abit different and not just the chakra… Papa you are not quite so tall compared to me." Himawari noted with a notably more mature voice as Naruto smirked down at his 'daughter'.
Himawari who was currently 13 years old now appeared to be about 16 years old physically. Her dark blue hair was now down to her knees and in the form of two twin tails seemingly held in shape from the chakra itself but the yellow chakra had covered her hair colour. Her face had also grown to have a more mature expression with her waist and hips being more mature to match her increased age. Despite still having petite figure her breasts also seemed to have grown somewhat with them popping somewhat in her chakra cloak jacket. She was now closer to her 'father's' shoulder instead of his waist.AN4:
"You are older now! Like my age!" Sumire pointed out as Himawari tilted her head and looked up at Naruto expectantly.
"Um Papa? Do you know why I aged up? I just accepted Kurama chakra inside of you and bonded it to the Kurama chakra inside of me and this happened." Himawari asked sweetly as Naruto smiled at her just as sweetly.
"It's still weird to get chakra from another me but it does certainly feel not bad, With the chakra and compatibility you and Naruto have you are stronger right now then when you accessed my power against that Wannebe Sentient God Tree.:" Himawari's Kurama noted which was heard by Naruto and Kurama due to their chakra being linked to Himawari's currently.
"What did you expect? They are father and daughter after all. Parents and children tend to have similar chakras and we are fundamentally the same being. Of course, the chakra we shared with you would be most optimal." Naruto's Kurama bragged making Naruto mentally give a nervous chuckle while Himawari giggled.
"I am not sure exactly how powerful that God Tree jerk we fought at full power but the way we are now I am certain together the 4 of us could definitely defeat that God Tree if he fought the same way as before." Himawari's Kurama commented as Naruto and Kurama mentally shared a look.
"That won't be needed. Naruto can slay all the God Trees himself. He wouldn't have come to this world if he couldn't solve the issues especially as he is full of chakra right now." Naruto's Kurama explained as Naruto nodded.
This entire exchange happened in the single moment they exchanged a brief look as they were basically using Tailed Beast Telepathy due to sharing chakra and being Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts.
Meanwhile Kawaki was growling as the duo Jinchuriki were holding his Disruption Cubes with ease not even struggling to hold them up with a single chakra tail each. He was even angrier when they completely ignored him like he was not a threat.
"Well…. Hima-chan might have full access to Kurama's power but I did boost up her and Kurama chakra but quite abit. I can only assume her body had to age up a tad to handle the excess power. When I was Hima's age I didn't use any near as much Kurama chakra as she did. Perhaps she surpassed her limit and her body adapted accordingly?" Naruto suggested as he tilted his head in thought.
"Hmm I suppose that is possible. Jinchuriki who have full control over their tailed beasts are incredibly rare and you both have Kyubi chakra inside of you so that could be a factor as well." Konohamaru noted as Sarada and Sumire blinked as their eyes glistered in awe and respect.
Kawaki growled as he took a step forward before he blinked in confusion.
"Himawari? What are you doing? Why…. Are you on the side of Him?" Kawaki asked growling at the end as he glared up at Naruto.
TO Kawaki and everyone surprise Himawari glared at him making Kawaki take a step back in shock. The only one who didn't look surprise was Naruto who looking down at Himawari with pride.
"I am protecting Konoha Kawaki… Nii-chan. Just like we all supposed to." Himawari retorted with notable anger as she crossed her arms.
'I am not going to let anyone take her away from me!' Kawaki thought in jealously at the thought of his 'real' but really adopted sister being taken away from him.
Before Kawaki could retort all the sudden all the Konoha ninjas in the area got a 'ping' in their head.
"This is Shikamaru! What is going on here?! I just got a report about a huge amount of Kyubi chakra being released in the area you guys are in! Along with a red chakra blast, yellow explosion and red and black cubes! What exactly is going on here!" Shikamaru demanded as he had Ino use the Mind Transmission Jutsu to create a mental link so he could send his voice to the minds of the people in the area in a radio like transmission.
"Lord 8th… Keep it down…. You might be heard…" Kawaki stated quietly as he kept his eyes on Naruto warily to avoid Himawari accusatory stare.
"What is going on Kawaki? Was that you releasing those jutsu inside the village?" Shikamaru asked ignoring Kawaki comment to 'keep quiet'.
Kawaki seemed reluctant to answer until Naruto gave a laugh.
"Don't bother being quiet. I can hear and sense what you are saying even when you use the Mind Transmission Jutsu. I don't mean to spy or anything but I think there is no point of hiding it." Naruto revealed easily making everyone look at his in surprise.
"Who are you? Not even Ada's Senrigan can hear this. Are you the one who is responsible for the large output of Kyubi chakra?" Shikamaru asked as he had Ino send a private 'chat' to just where Naruto was as Naruto raised an eyebrow.
'I can't believe you of all people don't recognize me Shikamaru. Nice 8th Hokage coat. It looks good on you. Almost as good as the 7th Hokage but hey he probably wants it more then you. You seemed to be a good Hokage Aide. I am glad you decided to go for that dream after the 4th Ninja war buddy." Naruto stated mentally with a smile.
"….. Naruto? Is that you…? You sound younger than what I remembered but I get the same feelings of comradery I had with him." Shikamaru asked with disbelief and hope in his voice.
"Naruto? I thought he was dead or at least sealed away somehow." Ino also added in disbelief.
"I will explain everything. Just know I am not under the Omnipotence like the rest of the world. I can see and feel things as they are supposed to be rather than the way they are now." Naruto explained calmly.
" I see so you are like Boruto, Sumire and Sarada. Normally I would be skeptical but I feel I can trust your word…. Naruto…." Shikamaru stated with a hint of amusement and fondness as they could hear Ino give an uncertain giggle of agreement.
"Tell Kawaki and the other Ninjas to capture me and bring me to you. I will come quietly but only if Boruto is left alone so I can heal him. I will let him his chakra be sealed as I can release any restraints afterwarfs but if anyone puts a hand on him then I will retialate." Naruto told Shikamaru who took a moment before nodding.
"Very well. That sounds reasonable. I am sure you know but Boruto is considered the criminal and Kawaki is considered the son of the previous Hokage. You won't be able to easily convince other people especially from Kohona to give Boruto the benefit of the doubt." Shikamaru noted as Naruto nodded.
Meanwhile in the real-world Naruto seemed able to multitask as he was looking at Himawari with amusement.
"Hey Hima I am getting abit tired of holding these building blocks in place. Do you want to drop them off somewhere?" Naruto asked cheerfully as he shrugged his shoulder in an exaggerated show of being tired.
"Sure Papa. I think people are already freaked out so putting them somewhere safe would be best." Himawari replied just as cheerfully.
Naruto pointed to a space outside of Konoha with his hand as Himawari nodded. They flicked their tails as there was a burst of wind. The Destruction Cubes flew out of Konoha at high speed and landed in an empty forest many miles outside of the village. There was a notable difference in where the blocks landed. While Himawari's cubes landed in random piles, Naruto's cubes landed in neat piles of three with them stacking neatly on top of each other.
Himawari had activated her Byakugan and gasped at the ease Naruto controlled the direction of the cubes.
"Wow you managed to stack them so easily while I only managed to throw them." Himawari gasped in awe.
Naruto patted her on the forehead as they both released their chakra cloaks. Himawari notably going back to her original physical age as she returned to her base state.
"You might have full control and ability to use Kurama's chakra to the full effect but you are not quite able to do subtle things. Don't worry about it Hima. I will make sure to teach you control and the ability to use Tailed Beast Chakra most effectively so you are not just wildly flinging it around." Naruto promised as Himawari beamed up at him.
Kawaki growled at the interactions and looked ready to attack Naruto but then everyone heard a voice.
"Kawaki! Stop! I am not sure exactly who that man is but for now we will allow him to escorted back to the Hokage tower to talk. Do not attack him and since he has shown no acts against Konoha I will allow him to not have his chakra restrained." Shikamaru commanded lying about not knowing who Naruto could be.
Kawaki grunted before he nodded when Konohamaru sent him a look.
"Alright Master…. I mean…. Naruto-san…. If you come quietly, we won't restrain you." Konohamaru stated nervously letting out a sigh of relief when Naruto nodded.
Naruto then leapt forward to where Boruto was making everyone not at ease.
"What are you doing with Boruto? He is still a criminal to Konoha so he is our responsibility to handle." Konohamaru retorted as he felt his bitterness at Boruto at the edge of skin creeping up.
"Don't worry. I will just patch him up enough so his life will not be harm way. I will even accept he needs to be restrained as he is under Konoha jurisdiction." Naruto explained calmly as he picked up Boruto carefully into his arms letting him rest against him. He carefully placed his hand over the hole in Boruto chest and channelled Kurama's yellow chakra which healed Boruto instantly but Boruto was still unconscious but notably less stressed.
Konohamaru nodded as Naruto shifted Boruto enough so his arms were in reach for Konohamaru to put the special cuffs on him.
"Master Konohamaru!" Sarada shouted in anger but Konohamaru sent her an impatient look.
"Sarada this isn't personal. Just standard protocol to seal away a potential danger to Konoha with these special cuffs created by Amando that seals away all Jutsu." Konohamaru told her dissmively.
Sumire looked at Naruto desperately to intervene but his face was neutral.
'It will be okay. I know he is innocent and everything will be okay. I won't let him suffer anymore as he is my son after all.' Naruto sent a mental message with chakra to Sumire, Sarada and Himawari letting them know he was on their side.
Meanwhile Kawaki walked over to Himawari who sighed before smiling at Kawaki like normal.
"Himawari…. Stay away from that man. He is dangerous and we don't know his motivations yet." Kawaki warned as Himawari frowned before sighing.
"Kawaki Nii-chan…. You were abit rough today. Boruto was helping us but you still seem to think he is a threat to us." Himawari noted as Kawaki scoffed.
"Boruto regardless of his goals is still an Otsutsuki so he will need to be put down some day one way or another. However, he does have intel so I will let him live for another day." Kawaki stated flatly as Himawari frowned but nodded.
Unseen to Kawaki Himawari was glaring at him as she clenched her fists and resisted the urge to slug him in the face.
Just as the group was about to leave dozens and then hundreds of ninjas and civilians surrounded them.
"Master Konohamaru! What has happened here today? Why is that traitor Boruto here? Who is that man with blonde hair?" Inojin-the son of Ino and Sai- asked urgently looking warily.
Soon everyone was talking before Konohamaru put his hand up and clapped getting everyone to be quiet.
"I know everyone is confused and stressed from today's events but it is alright! The intruders have been repelled and the traitor Boruto has been restrained with him no longer able to harm us!" Konohamaru stated loudly as the crowd cheered.
Sarada and Sumire clenched their teeth in anger at the crowd still cheering that Boruto was being restrained but Naruto subtly shook his head to show to not speak out yet.
"I have orders from Lord 8th to bring Boruto, Kawaki, Sumire, Sarada and the new man to him for questioning. Rest assured the situation is under control! I am not sure who the new man is but Lord 8th has commanded he be treated as guest for now!" Konohamaru stated as the crowd looked at each other but then nodded showing their trust for the 8th Hokage's head aide.
Chocho-the daughter of Choji and Karui looked at Naruto with blush and dreamy expression.
"Whoever this guy he sure is dreamy. He is like Lord 7th Hokage but closer to our age so that makes him even more a catch." Chocho swooned as notably dozens of young women blushed seeing Naruto up close. It seemed nobody commented on his similar look to the 7th Hokage with the same blonde hair, blue eyes and whisker marks.
Her teammates sighed at Chocho but didn't seem surprised. Sarada and Sumire seemed a tad embarrassed for also nearly fangirling over Naruto when they first saw him without his hood.
"Um thank you?" Naruto replied looked bewildered at the attention as Himawari smirked at her alternate father for once again being ignorant at his good looks attracting young women.
Konohamaru coughed as the small group walked over to the Hokage tower. While everyone gave curious looks to Naruto, he did not miss the glares and sneers sent to Boruto in his arm. Naruto didn't react but twitched for a moment at the outright hostility shown to his other self's son.
'They don't know any better to them Boruto is the man who tried to kill their beloved 7th's son and is the killer of Naruto Uzumaki. They will know better soon when I release Omnipotence from the world itself.' Naruto thought feeling pity rather than anger.
However, Sumire and Sarada were barely able to resist the urge to growl at the villagers for being ungrateful despite Boruto coming back just to save them. Kawaki was ignoring the villagers asking if he was okay just giving uncommitted grunts as he kept glancing at Boruto with wary expressions.
Shikamaru then sent a message to Kawaki mentally.
"Kawaki… We will need to get Ada here to verify who this guy is and if his story checks out. We will also need to bring Daemon in case things get out of hand." Shikamaru told Kawaki using Ino's Mind Transmission Jutsu showing he did not fully trust Naruto yet.
"… Okay Lord 8th. Why are you telling me this? Judging by the lack of reaction by everyone else you are just talking to me." Kawaki asked somewhat rudely showing his bad mood.
"Sigh… I will forgive you tone Kawaki. You know Ada will only come if you ask and Daemon only follows her orders so I need you to be in a chat with her for her to come to the Hokage Tower." Shikamaru explained with a tired tone.
"Fine. Whatever. Just link me to them and I tell them to meet us there. Ada can fly after all and Daemon can simply be the baby he is and ride in her arms like usual." Kawaki stated agreeing.
Shikamaru nodded to Ino who made a quick hand sign to link Kawaki to Ada and Daemon will keeping them in the 'call'.
"Oh, hi Shika-dear. Is there something you need? It seems a lot of interesting things happened recently all in the same day to boot." Ada noted with an amused tone.
"Of course, you were watching like a creep Ada. Anyways I need you to come to the Hokage Tower. The Hokage asked for this favour so just do it okay? He wants to verify that guys story." Kawaki explained rudely showing very little affection towards Ada who looked down with a sad expression at his tone.
"Hey Kawaki! Watch your tone! If you make Nee-chan sad I will send you packing!" Daemon shouted angrily in defense of his sister with Kawaki scoffing.
"I told you before if you get in my way, I will get rid of you too." Kawaki retorted as Ada raised her hand to silent Daemon.
"It's alright. Fine for you Kawaki-kun I will get to the Hokage Tower at once. Try to keep you jaw closed Shika-Dear. People drooling over me is so creepy and its such a turn off." Ada commented with a shudder with Daemon snickering in the background.
"Tch. You all are such pains in the necks. What a drag. Just get over there, okay?" Shikamaru sighed using his catch phrase as he gestured to Ino who ended the call with a hand sign,
The formation they used to walk to Hokage tower was Kawkai in the front who was grumbling to himself after his conversation with Shikamaru, Ada and Daemon, Naruto with Boruto in his arms, Sumire and Sarada walking side by side with Sumire to Naruto's left. Himawari was on Naruto's right and to the back was Konohamaru at the back seemingly to keep an eye out on Naruto and Boruto.
Naruto was smiling politely and with good cheer as he was chatting with Sumire cheerfully who seemed pleased to have Naruto talking to her so casually but also blushing occasionally when he gave her a compliment. Naruto would then turn around to politely but with a sigh of playful annoyance chide Himwari when she smirked and gave him teasing remarks.
"For the last time Hima-chan I am not trying to flirt with anyone. I am simply being nice and saying the things that are quite amazing about Sumire-chan." Naruto insisted with Sumire blushing slightly again.
"Uh huh. Definitely doesn't sound like flirting to me." Himawari retorted sarcastically giggling into her hand.
Unseen to the girls Naruto briefly looked at Kawaki with an amused raised eyebrow.
'Huh just told Shikamaru I can listen in on their transmission even if they are private and yet Shikamaru just told Kawaki to get Ada to check my background. Interesting. Does Shikamaru seriously not trust me or is this an act to appeal to what he thinks Kawaki and Ada would expect him to do?' Naruto mused before mentally shrugging.
'Doesn't matter anyway. The truth will be revealed one way or another. I can't save this world while Omnipotence making Boruto the villain of the story after all.' Naruto resolved as he continued to have a good time talking to his alternate self's daughter and her friends.
AN2: He is alluding to the fact to that the girls in Konoha seemed to think of him mostly as a brother figure (at least before the Last movie where he is shown to have fangirls) but in FILLER movies and arcs he does seem to attract girls and women when outside the village. Koyuki, Shion, Shizuka to name a few and Naruto is implying he seems to be aware they MIGHT have had feelings for him.
AN3: He is subtly implying here like in the main Kairi Uzumaki story even with the X-blade power he cannot freely return to worlds like this 'Boruto' world since they exist outside of Realms of Light, Darkness and in between or his own world (which are worlds he can freely enter and return to). Hence why its possible that Naruto accepts once he leaves this world he may not return. Of course, its up to the author (me) to decide when or if he returns but in story, he is rolling the dice.
AN4: Yes, this probably wouldn't happen in canon if she got chakra to boost up her Kurama into 'Kurama Mode' (aka stronger then her canon self) but I feel my reasoning works for the story itself.
