Note (Before proceeding ahead):
· This prequel only shows how the Pretty Cure were defeated. Most of it might not be to everyone's liking cause it's, well, everyone's favorite heroines being horribly defeated and taken by surprise (which now that I think about it, it's how they are always defeated in every All Stars). There's no blood nor physical torture included (mental torture it is inevitable cause it's a tragedy).
· This chapter includes heavy Westar x Setsuna and Soular x Miki shipping.
· It contains spoilers of Fresh Pretty Cure and other Pretty Cure season finales.
Round 2:
The Happiness Uncaught!Fresh Pretty Cure vs Wolfzack!It was a normal late morning in Clover Town Street, Yotsuba. Right on their local donut café truck at the park, Love Momozono, Miki Aono and Inori Yamabuki, three middle school girls from different schools were enjoying together the delicious sugary treats along with their outer dimensional friends: Setsuna Higashi, Hayato Nishi (Westar) and Shun Minami (Soular), who came to visit them after a long time. The world from where Setsuna and others came from, Labyrinth, had finally got peace and happiness for most of their inhabitants after the fall of their tyrant AI, Moebius.
In the middle of their snack reunion, Love, a girl with pink eyes and dark blonde hair in piggy tails asked Setsuna, her friend of dark purple hair and red eyes:
-"Say, Setsuna, how long are you guys going to stay?", and then proceeded to eat a bite out of her donut.
-"Right! I want to know too.", Miki, a girl with pale blue hair and dark blue eyes mentioned, "We have to go shopping so that you arrive to Labyrinth like their new model!"
-"Well…", Setsuna mumbled indecisive of whether she should go with that idea.
-"I think it'll be really fun!", Inori shyly joined the proposition. Setsuna did not think it too long after that; she wanted to stay longer, but she had to agree with her male companions., so she glanced at Shun.
-"Doesn't seem like a bad idea…", the boy of long hair and green eyes mentioned as he overfilled his green tea cup with sugar cubes ( classic Soular antics), "Would be interesting to see the style Miki-san will choose for you."
-"Alright! What do you say, West—", when Setsuna turned around to look at the blonde and buff guy, he was in the stand of the truck talking with the donuts café owner, Kaoru, of tanned skin, clean short black haircut, and wearing sunglasses.
-"Come on! What do you think of the donut I made? Made from Labyrinth grown wheat with strength and love!", Hayato mentioned as he flexed his muscles that had been responsible for the re-raise of agriculture in his home world.
-"It has a funny taste…", Kaoru replied as he gave it a bite, "What's the name of this delicacy?"
-"The Passion Donut!!", Hayato replied with a smirk as he pointed at the scarlet red filling of the donut. This made Setsuna stand up as she blushed embarrassed.
-"S-Setsuna…Setsuna?", Love and the other two girls seemed in shock to that indirect message.
-"Could it be that you and Hayato-san…?", Inori asked curiously.
-"I warned you he would not keep it to himself." Shun mentioned as he took a sip of his tea.
-"Yes, that's right…", Setsuna sighed trying to calm herself.
-"EHHHH!?", the other three exclaimed in unison before launching a triple hug at her.
-"I can't believe it!", Inori yelled.
-"I knew Setsuna was perfect, just like that!", Miki said.
-"Congrats, Setsuna! You got another happiness!", Love said with a smile, which if anything, made Setsuna smile too. This was the kind of moments where having friends like them was what made her glad she accepted to become a Pretty Cure.
-"Thanks, everyone… Though it's not like we are marrying or something", she smiled nervously.
-"Hey, guys! You want to try the Passion Donut as well?", Hayato got closer with a basket and a bright smile, oblivious to what he had caused.
-"I want one!", Love exclaimed going next to him.
-"Here. I expect a good review", Hayato let her pick one of the donuts in the basket.
-"Thanks for the food~!", Love was going to bite on her first outer-dimensional donut when suddenly, a coffee cream colored ferret fell from the sky and hit her on the head forcing her to close her mouth forcefully.
-"L-Love-chan!", Inori exclaimed as she went with the other three to check on Love who took the mysterious ferret, who was actually very familiar.
-"T-Tarte!? What are you doing here?", Miki exclaimed surprised as the Sweets Kingdom prince had suddenly just dropped over her friend.
-"Oh hey, I came with a warnin'.", Tarte replied as his eyes focused on the Passion Donut that ended up in his hands and undoubtedly bit off, "Wow, this donut's straight fire."
-"My donut…!", Love whined disappointed as she stood up with the ferret fairy in her hands, "Tarte…that hurt a lot…"
-"No cryin', Peach-han. It was an accident, ya?", Tarte trying to console her, even though he stole her snack in the process.
-"Wait. Is Chiffon-chan with you?", Inori asked the fairy.
-"She's right there.", Tarte pointed at the table where Chiffon had been sitting over for a while.
-"Puripu!", the white cream colored teddy bear baby fairy exclaimed with her usual innocent smile.
-"Chiffon-chan!", Inori went to greet with a hug immediately.
-"Chiffon is glad to see everyone~!", the baby fairy mentioned as she shared a hug with the brunette.
-"OMG! You can say full phrases now!", Miki gasped.
-"So cute~!", Love exclaimed as she felt the injection of serotonin running through her body at the sight of the cute baby growing. Everyone sat around the table then, while Kaoru noticed something lurking nearby, probably a wild animal.
-"Then, what's that warning you were talking about?", Love asked the ferret after she left him on the table.
-"A new evil surgin'. It ain't no good", Tarte frowned with worry, despite his calm response in Kansai dialect.
-"What? But we already defeated all the villains…", Inori mentioned.
-"Where are they? In the Sweets Kingdom…? Are they aiming for Chiffon again?", Setsuna asked with seriousness.
-"Nope. It's different, Pine-han", the ferret shook his head, "This one so threatenin', all the kingdoms related to the Pretty Cure decided that all of the Pretty Cure are needed to take her down."
-"It's that serious…?", Shun frowned.
-"Just what kind of evil is that you're talking about?", Setsuna mumbled.
-"Oh. I believe the ferret refers to me", a confident boyish voice said behind them as they noticed that over Kaoru's truck, Wolfzack was standing with a dominating pose, "How're you doin', Pretty Cure?", he said with a greeting as if he mocked Tarte's manner of speech.
-"A werewolf…boy?", Inori wondered confused.
-"Who are you?", Hayato demanded as Wolfzack jumped down from the truck and glanced in direction to Kaoru, who felt like something was paralyzing him and as he looked down, a black tree vine was tightly wrapped on his leg.
-"Old man. You shouldn't try to do sudden movements towards an attentive predator", the wolf boy replied letting Kaoru off as he kneeled in pain from his ankle being so forcefully bound. Then, the villain turned to the Cures.
-"My name is Wolfzack. The loner and coldhearted wolf of the New Moon", he introduced himself as he clasped his fingers to change the environment into a dark night with no light in sight, "and I came to defeat you by orders of Lady Hately."
-"You sure got a lot of confidence for someone who is outnumbered by 4", Miki said with a mocking tone.
-"Dang it!", Hayato cursed lowly as he took Chiffon and Tarte with him.
-"We didn't foresaw an enemy…Otherwise…", Shun mumbled as he remembered that they did not bring the crystals to summon their assistant monsters, Hohoemina, just in case.
-"It'll be alright, you two!", Love said with a smile, "As long as the four of us are together, our lucky clover is unbeatable!"
-"Keep Tarte and Chiffon safe.", Miki added.
-"We'll see about that", Wolfzack rose his chin high and proud as if he challenged them.
-"Chiffon. Bring 'em, Pickruns!", Tarte asked the little baby.
-"Kyua Kyua, puripuru!", with the wiggle of her ears, the bright sparkle on the cub's forehead called upon fairies with key form: Pirun, Burun, Kirun and Akarun; who quickly transformed the girl's phone devices into their transformation phones, Linkrun.
-"Everyone, let's go!", Love announced as she held up her pink Linkrun.
{Transformation Theme: 'Pretty Cure, Beat Up! ~hybrid ver.~ by Takanashi Yasunaru}
The four girls inserted a silver clover key in the top lock of their Linkruns to open the cover of the screen and pressed the lower button to trigger the transformation:
-"Change! Pretty Cure…", they exclaimed in unison as their bodies were covered by light and their hair accessories disintegrated in light, "Beat Up!", and raised their hands into the sky.
After their transformation process, the four of them landed on the ground with an energetic, elegant, gentle, and sudden stomp:
-"The pink heart is the sign of Love! Freshly-picked, Cure Peach!", the blonde heroine introduced herself with a love sign.
-"The blue heart is the sign of Hope! Freshly-gathered, Cure Berry!", the blue heroine introduced herself with a model walk into a pose.
-"The yellow heart is the sign of Faith! Freshly-harvested, Cure Pine!", the yellow heroine introduced herself with a shy smile and a cute jump.
-"The scarlet heart is the proof of Happiness ! Freshly-ripened! Cure Passion!", finally, the red heroine introduced herself with an intense look in her eyes and a sharp pose.
-"Let's! Pretty Cure!", the four of them did a final pose as a group.

-" Hope, Love, Faith and Happiness…", Wolfzack murmured as he looked at the Cures in that order, "Things I do not possess. I don't mind stealing them from you, for my own wish.", he mentioned as he pressed his fist as he had them on his hands.
-"Well then, I'll count to ten to give you a chance to run away", the wolf boy mentioned as he simply stood there to watch, fully confident that he could taken on the legendary warriors.
The Fresh Pretty Cure nodded to each other as if they already had a combination attack in mind and acted accordingly: Cure Peach went first by doing a jump kick that he crouched to avoid and then without warning, she quickly went to throw punches and kicks towards him who dodged them and blocked each of them:
-"Here!", Peach did a drop kick but even that was repelled by Wolfzack's crossed arms and he used that chance to push her out of the way.
-"Haaa!", Berry dropkicked him from the sky hitting his shoulder and then back wheeled to side kick him but he defended himself from this attack and backed off.
Cure Pine made a dash towards him to attempt to punch him, but he grabbed her wrist and pushed her out of the way with a sucker kick. With no second to breathe, he had Cure Passion's boot sole right in front of him after that as she was quick to kick him on the face with success and jumped to throw more kicks at him who covered himself with his arm. Passion took advantage of his defensive stance to throw a punch at him and send him sliding his feet on the grovel:
-"…", Wolfzack touched his cheeks to check how big was the damage and realized it would leave a lovely purple spot, "Not bad."

{OST: 'Purikyua Sasso Tōjō!' (Pretty Cure's Dashing Arrival!) by Yasunaru Takanashi)
-"Let's go!", Passion exclaimed as Berry came to her side and the two of them made a long leap towards him charging a punch.
-"The red one's quite relentless…", Wolfzack thought to himself as he put himself in defense stance to receive the hit. Then, the two of them went separate ways to his surprise.
-"Double Pretty Cure Punch!!", the two of them yelled as they attacked him by the sides. Wolfzack put his hands to both sides to tank both hits. It was not over as Cure Peach came in close putting her hands together like a heart:
-"Pretty Cure Love Sunshine!!", as he grabbed the fists of both girls to not allow them to do any other movements, Wolfzack made a black tree bark rise from the floor to take the hit. Peach looked up slightly over him to give a nod as a signal from where Cure Pine jumped on behind him with her Cure Stick, which he quickly noticed by the sound of the jump:
-"Heal, harmony of faith!", she exclaimed as she summoned the power of her item, "Cure Stick: Pine Flute!", and proceeded to play it like a recorder.
-"Evil things, evil things, fly away!", Pine waved around her stick and then drew a diamond with the tip of the stick that turned into yellow energy, "Pretty Cure…Healing Prayer…"
-"Fresh!!!", and launched it towards the villainous wolf boy as a back shot. However…

-"Oh come on now…", Wolfzack said as he pulled Passion and Berry towards him and used them as a step to jump away, making the two of them be hit by the shining yellow attack.
-"Hyaah!", the two of them screamed as they got hit.
-"Berry! Passion!", Pine yelled concerned as she rushed to wave her stick to stop the attack and landed on the floor to run and check on them at the same time as Peach.
-"Watch out, Pine-han!", Tarte noticed late how Wolfzack appeared sigilously behind her.
-"I thought the animal lover would know not to run off when a wolf has her on sight!", he murmured to Pine and with his arm morphed into a wolf claw, he jabbed Cure Pine in the back and took her Sacred Heart Sphere (yellow in color with the four colored clover of the Fresh team) to her shock and pain. Unable to process the memories of her adventures leaving her, she de transformed to Inori and fainted as she fell in her knees and down on the grass.
{OST: 'Jiken hassei' (An Incident Occurred) by Yasunaru Takanashi}
-"…", the others watched in shock how Inori was laying on the ground as Wolfzack quickly made himself with Kirun as it tried to wake Inori and made the Pickrun be compressed into a ball of evil energy and dissappear from sight.
-"Buki!!", Love exclaimed in pain of seeing her childhood friend being taken out. With a backstab like that, it was possible that she…, "What did you do to Buki!?"
-"Nothing too fatal. I stole her pretty cure memories and her dream wrapped in them.", Wolfzack replied with a sigh, finding Peach's frustration overwhelming, "In other words, she won't remember ever being the Pretty Cure of Faith."
-"No way…", Berry mumbled in disbelief. She now realized why Tarte came in warning in first place if they were going to fight someone with that kind of power ( Yes, yes, I know Miden. This all occurs before HappinessCharge and New Stage 3 anyways).
-"What's up? Aren't you going to do that…' Lucky Clover Grand Finale' thing now?", Wolfzack baffled, "Oh right. Your 'lucky clover' is just a stupid weed when there's only three leaves on it!"
-"Berry! Passion!", Peach did not take that tease with patience at all and so she took out her Cure Stick as she urged her friends to do the same. The wolf boy would fall and she will get her friend back. The three of them surrounded Wolfzack in a clover leaf position as they jumped high in the sky:

-"Play, the melody of Love! Cure Stick: Peach Rod!", exclaimed Peach getting her weapon ready.
-"Resonate, rhythm of Hope! Cure Stick: Berry Sword!", so did Cure Berry.
-"Sing, the rhapsody of Happiness! Passion Harp!", and Cure Passion got her Passion Harp ready as well, by playing three cords and then a swing by all of them in a musical scale.
-"Evil things, evil things, fly away!", Peach and Berry yelled as they waved their wands around.
-"Unleash, storm of joy!", Cure Passion yelled as she made the Harp raise a flock of lighting feathers.
-"Pretty Cure Love Sunshine…" Peach drew a pink heart with her rod.
-"Pretty Cure Espoir Shower…" Berry drew a blue spade with her sword.
-"FRESH!!!!"- and they both shot their attacks in unison.
-"Pretty Cure Happiness Hurricane!", and Passion started to spin around as she made her harp create a circular storm of hearts and feathers that she directed towards Wolfzack.
-"Going all out in desperation forgetting that the enemy is not tired out…A classic giveaway of your defeat.", Wolfzack mumbled ( Bro. Who told you to speak out the tropes so casually!?) as he simply dug through the ground to their shock, and the attacks clashed on the floor creating explosions and clouds of smoke, perfectly masking their enemy's location.

-"Blast! Where did he go!?", Passion cursed as she and the others looked around on guard.
-"Ah!", Peach saw something raise from the ground in Berry's direction.
-"Berry, behind you!", she warned her, gathering the attention of the other two and what she dodged was just a tall black tree stalk. Before Peach could even breathe in relief, she felt a stabbing pain in her chest, but it was not love, it was Wolfzack's wolf paw taking away her memories.
-"Bait was successful.", he smiled, "Say, you're the Pretty Cure of love and your name is literally 'Love', right? My wish is to get rid of such a deceiving thing as that."
-"Now, sleep peacefully and forget about love.", as he said that, Peach made a last effort to attack by trying to bash him with the Peach Rod, but he removed her pink Sacred Heart Sphere immediately making her de transform in his arms. Love Momozono would no longer remember her desire to dance, nor the people she helped catch their happiness.
-"PEACH!!", Heartbroken by her best friends' fall, Cure Berry screamed as she let herself out of reasoning and attacked Wolfzack without a moment to cool off. He had to be perfectly taken down.
-"Worrying about your comrades in the middle of the fight…What a foolish thing to do.", Wolfzack mocked her as he stopped her anger pressed punches, "It'll only get you more pain", and shot a beam of black energy at her, blasting her away.
-"Berry!", Passion landed on the ground as she saw this, and before she attempted to run towards her, Wolfzack looked at her from that height and knew she probably was doubting about Love's destiny…so he just let the blonde girl fall as well to Passion's shock who did not know who to save first; as Wolfzack quickly dove in the air towards Berry in order to take her heart sphere as well.
-"Gotcha!", Hayato, already changed to his alterego Westar, proceeded to catch Love to Passion's relief, "Cure Passion, go ahead!"
-"Help Cure Berry!", Shun yelled at her as he was transformed into his altergo Soular, as he was grabbing the fainted Inori.
-"Yes!", Passion nodded as she used her Pickrun's, Akarun, teleportation powers to appear in Wolfzack's way and prevent his aerial attack on Cure Berry.
-"I won't let you hurt another one of my friends!", she yelled as she joined her hands together in a hammer fist strike to hit him in the abdomen.
-"Ugh!", as Wolfzack focused on covering his stomach, her attack did not end there.
-"Pretty Cure Happiness Hurricane!!", as she also shot the circular storm of hearts and feathers with less intensity to ground him against the floor. Now with a chance, Passion picked up Berry before landing in the ground safely.
-"Berry! Are you alright? Stand up!", Passion exclaimed as her partner started to slowly open her eyes.
From the place that Wolfzack fell, he stood up from the grovel and extended his hand maliciously in silence as he commanded a black tree vine to creep up towards Passion. Berry noticed the malicious attempt as Passion was focused on waking her up and acted fast as she pushed her red partner out of the way, letting herself to be hit and trapped by the stalks. Unfortunately for her, the semi-sentient plant was able to extract her heart sphere to her remaining friends' shock, and perfect trap for a perfect girl such as her. Was there anything in her life that she will forget along with her Pretty Cure experience? Ah yes, not only was about forgetting her friendship to Setsuna, Chiffon and Tarte; it was also to forget the one guy she ever felt was ab equal to her, Soular.
-"Berry-han…!", Tarte murmured in shock. Somehow, everything was escalating in the wrong direction. Surely it was just a fluke that the Fresh Pretty Cure were defeated and there was hope to change the tides.
-"Miki…", Chiffon started to cry distressed as she sensed by Soular's despair that her friends' fall was nothing but sorrowful.
-"…MIKI-SAN!!!!", the silver haired man screamed as she closed her eyes and was left on the ground detransformed, with Wolfzack picking up her blue heart sphere and Burun.
-"Miki!", Passion yelled as she attempted to punch the wolf boy to keep him apart from her friend and after she jumped away, she completely ignored him and took Miki in her arms.
-"Miki! Wake up!", Passion had never have a sensation like this. First it was Inori, then Love herself and now Miki... everything fell on her to save them but she could only feel sorrow as losing them one by one fueled her despair. As he watched it all unfold while sending Burun away, Wolfzack started to laugh as he felt it refreshing. If he could despair people with the ability to fight in this way; then using his new power to take revenge on his two defenseless 'friends' that betrayed him was going to be really exciting:
-"What happened to that unbeatable lucky clover?", he teased her through. If he had to be the villain to get his wish of revenge done; he would take that mask until the end of his life, "Now you're all alone. What do you have to say about that?"
-"That I…would do my best to beat you up!!!", Cure Passion yelled enraged as she used Akarun again to teleport in front of him and go into a quick flurry of punches and kicks, but he was still standing as none was able to connect. Wolfzack had already gotten used to Passion's relentless fighting style.
In the meantime, Tarte was trying to figure out a way to help. He remembered how despite the fact that Wolfzack had made the Pickruns be sent away, he did not do the same for the heart sphere which meant it was possible to rescue the memories of the others:
-"That's it!", he turned around to Chiffon and tapped her little shoulders, "Chiffon, ya see that glowin' sphere over there?"
-"Puri?", Chiffon looked at the place where the fight was taking place and noticed the three colored fainting glow in one of Wolfzack's pockets, "I'm sure Peach-han and the others would wake up to see 'em!'
-"Really? Purippu!", Chiffon did not hesitate in believing that and used her telekinetic powers to make the spheres float at her direction.
-"What…?", Wolfzack whispered surprised by their plan, as he got distracted, Passion took him from the arm and flipped him over in a fighting move to smash him towards the ground.
-"She did it…!", Westar pumped his arm excited thinking not everything was hopeless.
-"Surrender. I don't have the temperament to pass up your coldhearted trash talk.", Passion said to him as she saw him on the ground, but he smirked as he raised up his hand and clasped his fingers to make the spheres be quickly sent away, as if he had control of them the entire time, "No…!", Passion exclaimed in shock as she looked back at this.
-"Our only chance…!", Tarte fell on the ground hopeless.
-"You shouldn't teach a baby how to steal…", Wolfzack groaned as he slowly stood up from the ground behind her. She looked on his direction meeting up with his golden eyes before he grabbed her from the chin to force her to look away towards her friends.
After leaving Love aside, Westar hurried to help her:
-"Setsuna!", he yelled ready to one to one combat the guy if needed. But found himself quickly overwhelmed by wrapping dark tree stalks tying him up. No matter how much he moved with his strong muscles, he could not break them, "You darned brat…!"
-"Don't get in my way." Wolfzack replied and made his way to steal Passion's scarlet heart sphere from her chest without delay.
-"Keh!", Passion tried to resist as she grinned her teeth. She left her guard off but she would resist until the very end.
-" The scarlet heart is the proof of Happiness, was it that you said?", Wolfzack whispered to her ear, "Your happiness at meeting these people… can't help but to feel envy."
-"Because you don't possess your own happiness…?", Passion claimed back, "You won't find it by cooperating with people who want you to do this…!"
-"I don't care about that anymore", Wolfzack said with a monotone tone as he finally forced the sphere out, "I will make Lady Hately's happiness come true by getting yours.", he mentioned the last part as he mocked Love's catchphrase.
-"Ah…!", as her consciousness was slowly slipping away, Setsuna tried to retain the memories of her friends in her mind. Unfortunately, their faces and their voices slowly vanished away like a computer program being eradicated for RAM space. Wolfzack left her fall slowly into the ground thinking how with Passion finally defeated, he had taken out his resentment towards love and it did not make him feel satisfied. But alas, 'there is no looking back', he thought as he captured Akarun.
-"Setsuna…not you as well…", Westar whispered frustrated as Wolfzack passed by him and ignored his frustration. Soular was also picking the sleeping Miki with sorrow as without her memories, he knew he would have to leave her until they could find a solution.
Wolfzack stood up in front of the defeated Tarte and Chiffon, making the latter cry distressed:
-"Don't touch her…!", Tarte stood up as he tried to defend the baby but the two of them were captured into a sphere together.
-"I would take the both of you", Wolfzack only replied as he vanished along with them. The night and moonless sky returned back to normal as Westar and Soular placed the girls on the tables of the café.
Kaoru checked up on the girls noticing that they had no visible injuries:
-"Seems like nothing fatal happened to them. They will wake up soon.", the donut café owner mentioned disappointed.
-"I see", Hayato hurried to carry the unconscious Setsuna with him.
-"What are you doing…?", Kaoru asked as the two of them stepped back.
-"That boy said that they wouldn't remember anything from their time as Pretty Cure. Meaning most of Setsuna's memories were erased and would be disoriented if we leave her in Clover Town", Shun replied, "She knows us from her time as Eas, so it's better if we take her with us to relieve the blanks in her memory."
-"Kaoru-san. Thanks for the doughnuts", Hayato made a reverence as they retired. Kaoru looked at the Labyrinth trio walking away to a point where they could teleport unnoticed and then noticed the forgotten basket with the doughnuts they brought with them.
-"Even if they lost their memories, I'm sure deep in the center, their hearts are still as one", the wise man murmured after he gave a bite to the donut showing its juicy red filling.
