Chapter 4: An Average Day For A Mermaid
The mermaid smiled happily at the babbling guppy in her arms as it tugged at her necklace and hair. She smiled and kissed the baby as she stroked its soft cheeks whilst the waves splashed at them, her large orange tail flipping as the water hit them. The baby giggled and smiled at its mother as its bright red tail flipped and turned as the sea-soaked its body. The mermaid continued to stroke the baby's cheek and smile as a pair of muscular arms wrapped around her from behind.
The mermaid squeaked happily and met her mate's eyes as he kissed her neck and wrapped his legs over her tail. He smiled at the baby and kissed its head as the sea suddenly began to glow, making her sigh sadly. "Just a few more minutes please," she begged silently but to no avail as the brightness overtook her. Slowly she blinked and yawned, sitting up in her grotto and sighing as the dream was so enjoyable. "I would give anything for that dream to be real...," she thought sadly as she slowly stretched and fiddled with her necklace gently.
Once she was more awake she began to kick her fins slowly and left the grotto and into the city. As she swam, she quickly grabbed a small lobster and crunched its head before it knew what was happening. The mermaid continued to eat the crustacean as she swam further into the city nodding politely at her fellow merfolk as she swam past them. Once she arrived at a larger coral cave entrance she entered and smiled warmly as a small group of guppies circled her, all excited for today's lessons.
The mermaid smiled and laughed gently as she swam further into the cave, waiting for the guppies to settle down. Once the guppies settled down she began to help make them a morning snack for each of them as they waited patiently and soon began to eat a nice small seaweed wrap. As the guppies are the mermaid watched and sighed a little, her mind drifting to the dream she had. The image of a baby made her heart beat faster as she yearned for that life, but for now, the guppies in front of her needed her attention.
As the guppies finished eating, the mermaid escorted them out into a more open area of the city. It wasn't in the open sea but was a nearly bare area, specifically for the guppy's swimming lessons. Once out of the cave the mermaid began to swim and turn, showing them how to properly turn without using their hands. The guppies saw the mermaid and began to mimic what they saw to varying degrees of success, making her smile and swim over to help them.
After about an hour of the guppies learning and seeming to master the technique, the mermaid then began to show another technique and help them. This was her job as she was considered one of the best swimmers in the ocean; perfect for the younger guppies to learn from. She would also read them stories of their people, feed them lunch and just help the young guppies learn about the sea until it was midday and time for them to leave. Once the swimming lessons ended, she escorted the group back in and fed them crab and muscle salad, while she told them the tale of a mermaid who went to give her grandmother medicine but was soon followed by a mean old shark.
The story ended with the shark being made into lunch, much to the delight of the guppies as she smiled and watched them play. Soon after their parents began to pick them up and take them home, leaving the mermaid to do what she wanted for the day. As she left the school she sighed a little at the sight of the families, making her a bit envious as she began to leave the city. Once she was in the open sea she eyed her surroundings and smiled a little before swimming with tremendous speed straight to the surface, diving out of the sea and back in with a magnificent splash.
When she hit the sea again, she laughed a little to herself before she continued to swim in the sea, only stopping as she approached her usual island. Once she was near the rocky shore, she surfaced again to see if any humans were nearby. Thankfully, she was safe for now, allowing her to crawl onto the sand and shift her magnificent fins for a pair of legs. She was used to the change by now but couldn't help but smile at the sight of her legs, wiggling her toes as she slowly stood up. Her long blonde hair seemed to dry up faster as her legs formed, now becoming as soft as a freshly dried blanket.
Her hair flowed down to her waist like a beautiful dress as it covered her two large breasts and thick human ass. As she studied the land fish, she paused as she heard a roar coming from the beach. The sudden noise made her jump and hide in a nearby bush as she had no idea what to do. Once she gathered her nerves, the mermaid slowly walked to the edge of the forest but still did her best to stay hidden. The mermaid saw a pair of humans on the beach with a strange device that reminded the mermaid of a boat but it looked smaller.
The humans didn't notice the mermaid as they were focused more on each other, kissing each other and smiling. At first, the mermaid was tempted to sneak away into the sea but then the humans seemed to be entering a mating session; intriguing her. The female of the couple removed the odd coverings humans wore, becoming completely nude, as she kissed the male's neck and chest. The male soon removed his garments, revealing a large cock; making the mermaid bite her lips with envy. The mermaid silently watched for a few more minutes, making notes on what to do just in case her love ever fell into the sea again. After a few more minutes she began to sneak away, unaware that the female saw her. But before the humans could do anything, the mermaid had snuck into the sea; a bit disappointed her day on land had to be over so early. "But at the very least if I see him again, I can mate with my legs," she thought with a shy smile as she slowly made her way back into the hidden city.
