Legends Ride Again: S1: E11:

Target: Amity Blight

Captain Braddock looked as the residents of the Boiling Isles celebrated their victory. Frowning, he looked down at the control unit. Flashing across the oracle stone was the words 'attack anything that moves.' It's not the most tactical approach, but with so many soldiers to control, it seems like the easy move to make.

"...Still," the Captain said with begrudging respect, "Can't help but admire this scene."

Braddock looked at Lady Blightthorne, ready to mock her latest failure. He frowned when he noticed that the female knight's attention was on something in the crowd. Curious, the knight captain followed his superior's glance and scowled as he watched the human witch kiss her girlfriend.

"...We're leaving," Lady Blightthorne said.

Captain Braddock looked as the female knight made a spell circle. A portal opened up, and Lady Blighttorne stepped through it immediately. Braddock spared another glance at the human witch. He clicked his teeth, then followed after his superior.

(A Few Days Later)

Amity was in her workshop, working on her latest project, when she groaned, face twisting in pain. She held her waist as she nearly doubled over from the pain she was experiencing. She gritted her teeth and clenched her waist as her version blurred.

Because of her state, Amity was unaware as a light began to shine on her waist. The young inventor began to pant as the pain reached its peak, and she dropped to her knees. Her body began to flicker between her usual self and something entirely different.

Amity let out a piercing scream as her form took on a gun-metal gray, bronze, and silver form.

The witch fell to the floor as she lost consciousness; her form stopped flickering a second later.

"-ity! Amity!"

The abomination witch groaned as she slowly returned to the waking world. She slowly opened her eyes and saw her father looking at her worriedly.

"-D-Dad?" Amity moaned. "What happened?"

Alador's frown deepened as he helped his daughter up. Amity groaned as she felt several muscles pop and joints crack. Alador gently wrapped an arm around his daughter and helped her to a nearby chair. The older inventor's worry worsened as he noted how unstable his daughter was as he helped her onto the chair.

"...I was hoping you could tell me that," Alador answered, worry evident in his voice. "I was heading here when I heard you scream. I rushed in to find you on the floor."

Amity frowned as she considered what had just happened. She held her waist as she recalled the pain she had experienced. She looked down at her waist and sighed.

"...Can you tell me what's happening to you?" Alador asked gently. "This is the second time, right?"

Amity gasped and looked at her father. "You knew?" She squeaked, somewhat shocked.

Alador smiled hollowly and kneeled in front of his daughter. He gently put a hand on Amity's shoulder and looked her right in the eyes.

"The healer you saw may have been a student, but she was very thorough," Alador answered. "After she examined you, she came to me later and gave me a report about your condition."

Amity frowned as she stared into her father's eyes for a second and sighed. "If you got a report, then you know as much as I do."

Alador frowned as he recalled the report the healing student gave him a few hours after the fight. The older inventor's worry grew as he remembered that the student's report said that despite tight muscles around the waist area, Amity wasn't in any immediate danger.

"...Amity," Alador said slowly. "Maybe you should see a more experienced healer. You having two attacks in less than a week is worrying."

Amity stared at her father for a second, then sighed. She slowly got to her feet, noting she felt better than she did a minute ago. Still, she hadn't completely recovered yet, and the lingering pain she felt in her waist was affecting her legs.

To steady herself, Amity summoned her staff for support. She then walked over to her workstation, speaking as she reviewed her latest project.

"...I have been thinking about that for a while now," she said, then sighed. "Especially when I realized what happened a few days ago happened before."

Alador gasped, his face twisting with shock and worry. Amity realized what she had just said, winced, and looked at her father. She saw his mouth moving, but no words were coming out.

"Amity," Alador finally choked out. "How could something like that have been happening, and you not tell anyone!?"

Amity sighed as she looked at the floor, shame riddling her face. She inhaled a deep breath, held it for three seconds, then exhaled.

"...When it first started, it was a week after Luz's power showed up," Amity explained, looking at her father. "I thought it was just worry making me sick. Do you know what it's like to watch someone you love fight all alone?"

Alador looked away from his daughter, mainly so Amity didn't see the shame on his face. He could relate to what his daughter was talking about; he was forced to watch as Amity and her friends headed off to the fight against Belos during the Day of Unity.

The worry the older inventor felt that day was nearly as painful as the pain he was feeling from the draining spell.
Alador took a moment to collect himself before he looked at his daughter. Amity took that as her cue to continue.

"Because it always happened when Luz went to fight one of those Blooburn; I didn't think much about it," Amity continued, the shame in her voice growing. "But-"

"Amity!" Alador suddenly interrupted, causing his daughter to nearly jump. "You're saying that every time this condition acted up, you were near one of those creatures."

Amity looked at her father, frowning. At first, she didn't understand what her dad was getting at. Then, gasping, she came to the same idea her father thought.

"Dad?" Amity asked breathlessly. "Are you saying you think my condition had something to do with the Blooburn?"

Alador nodded somewhat hesitantly and walked up to his daughter. He placed both hands on Amity's shoulders and looked her directly in the eyes.

"Think about it, Mittens," Alador said seriously. "You said the first time your condition acted up was a week after Luz got her strange powers."

Amity nodded slowly, eyes widening.

"That would have been your first interaction with one of the knight's creatures," Alador explained, his tone growing grim.

"...Every time I was near one of these creatures, my condition got worse," Amity added, mouth drying out. "And then, when I fought that army, my condition reached its peak."

"And now, your condition has gotten to the point where it acts up even if one of those creatures isn't around," Alador finished, grip tightening. "Amity…I think you should go see a more experienced healer right away."

Amity frowned as she looked her father in the eyes. She wouldn't deny what her dad was saying made a lot of sense. Still, she had found a few holes in Alador's theory.

"Wait, Dad," the young inventor said. "Some things don't add up."

Alador looked at his daughter, frowning in confusion. Amity saw this and gently pulled away from her father. She noticed she was recovered enough to stand without aid and unsummoned her staff. Ghost came to life and dropped into her witch's hands.

Amity scratched under the Palisman's chin as she explained her theory. "The Blooburn had attacked many people on the Isles. They even kidnapped a few, and no one else had experienced what I'm going through."

Alador frowned as he went over his daughter's words. He couldn't deny that what Amity was saying didn't have some merits to them. Still, there were other factors to consider in this matter.

"I wouldn't deny anything you just said, Amity," Alador replied, "But you also got to remember, most witches and demons ran when one of those creatures showed up. And those kidnapped weren't in the creature's presence for long. You, on the other hand, were close to the creatures as you wanted to support your girlfriend."

Amity looked down at Ghost. The Pasliman returned the gesture, meowing something only Amity could understand. Amity sighed and looked at her dad, frowning.

"Then what about my friends?" Amity asked curiously. "They also stayed during the fights, and nothing's happening to them."

Alador frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. He tried to figure out a hole to put in his daughter's theory but couldn't, even after a minute of thought.

"...All the more reason you should see a professional healer," Alador said calmly. "For all we know, this is happening to your friends, but it's just taking longer to affect them."

Amity thought over her father's words. She couldn't find any fault with her dad's logic and could understand his worry.

She sighed and looked at her father. Before Amity could give her father an answer, her scroll appeared beside her, a faint alarm ringing in her ears. She looked at her scroll, and her eyes widened when she saw what was on it.

"I have to go!" Amity said quickly, having Ghost turn back into her staff.

The young inventor moved around her father, but Alador grabbed Amity by the arm.

"Mittens, what's wrong?" the older inventor asked in concern.

"It's almost time for the Flyer Derby semi-finals!" Amity replied hastily. "And I promised Willow I would be there to support her team!"

"Amity," Alador said slowly, loosening his grip. "Do you really think a sports game is more important than your own health?"

Amity sighed as she looked farther in the eyes. "I know this is childish, but I really need to go to this game."

Alador frowned disapprovingly. Amity saw this and sighed again as she gently pulled her arm free. She looked her father in the eyes with a firm expression.

"Look, Dad," Amity said gently, "With everything being so crazy, I could use some normalcy to get my head on straight again."

Amity saw her father wasn't convinced and continued.

"How about after the game, I head straight to the Bonesborough Hospital and have myself looked at?"
Alador continued to stare at his daughter, then sighed reluctantly.

"You're as stubborn as I was at that age," he muttered to himself, then addressed Amity. "Okay. But I also want you to tell your friends about your condition. That way, they can help you if you have another attack."

Amity smiled ear to ear and gave her father a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, Dad!"

The abomination witch then hurried out of the lab. Alador watched his daughter leave and sighed. Curious, he looked at Amity's workbench and walked over to it. The older inventor frowned when he saw his daughter's current project.

All Amity was working on at the time were improvements for her LightChaser. Alador's frown deepened as he realized there were more than just upgrades for the vehicle; Amity was trying to turn her creation into a more battle-capable vehicle.

Alador sighed as he made a spell circle. He walked over to a safe that hadn't been open in nearly two years and pressed his spell circle against it. He heard a few clicks, and the safe's door opened a second later.

The older inventor took out a set of blueprints. Aldor looked at the blueprint belonging to the Abamatron, the last weapon he created.

"Hmm," Alador hummed as he looked over the design. "Maybe I could re-design this from a controlled mecha suit into an actual battle suit."

In one of the Order's training chambers, Lady Blightthorne, in her monster form, stood before three of her Abomiburns, looking ready for a fight. The female knight looked at the controller in her hand and entered a simple command: attack anything in sight.

She tossed the controller aside as her creations roared. The Abomiburns charged all at once, and Lady Blighthorne raised her axe.

The Abomiburns reached her all at once and swung their arms down. Lady Blightthorne ducked the blow and slid backward. She straightened up as her creations' arms slammed into the ground, cracking it.

The female knight brought up her axe and waited for the Abomiburns to attack again. She counted in her head as her creation charged her. She couldn't help but frown when she realized it took her creations roughly 25 seconds to ready themselves for another attack.

With a disappointed sigh, Lady Blighttorne charged her axe, blackish purple energy surging around the blades. With a cry, the female knight threw her weapon. The axe pulse and the blades broke apart, the handle disappearing in a spray of energy surging between the two blades.

The Abomiburns groaned as the axe blads sliced through them like a knife through hot butter, exploding a second later.
Lady Blightthorne sighed bitterly as her axe returned to its original state and back to her hand. She turned back to her witch form as the chamber was flooded with light. The female knight turned back to her witch form as she heard footsteps approaching her.

"It's surprising to find you actually training," Captain Braddock commented as he stepped into view.

Lady Blightthorne exhaled deeply and looked at the spot where her creations were. She scowled as she looked at the knight captain.

"Despite what you may think, Captain, I do engage in training," the female knight replied coldly. "Now, has everything been taken care of?"

Captain Braddock stared at his superior, hiding his confusion at the lady knight's behavior. For the last few days, Lady Blighttorne had been busy with something to the point that she hadn't been seen by the captain for hours.

A few hours ago, Blighttorne ordered Braddock to prep a Blooburn. Braddock was confused by this, but he did as he was instructed.

"...Yes," Braddock replied dutifully.

Lady Blightthorne nodded and made her way to the chamber's exit. Captain Braddock followed after the female knight, getting beside her.

"May I ask what you're planning this time?" the knight captain asked.

Lady Blightthorne looked at her subordinate with her eyes, then looked forward. Braddock resisted the urge to growl as his superior refused to answer him.

Soon, the two knights reached the common area. Braddock scowled when he saw Blighttorne's pet sleeping in a corner. He raised an eyebrow when he noticed the female knight ignored the feral child and went straight for the shelf where they stored their biles.

"If you must know, Captain," Lady Blighttorne said, finally acknowledging the captain's early question. "I have finally learned the Human Witch Kuuga's weakness."

The female knight grabbed a vile, uncorked it, and down its content, all in one go. Lady Blightthorne touched her ash mark as it pulsed and receded slightly. She inhaled, then exhaled through her nose before she looked at the captain.

"And I planned to use it against the human witch to the fullest," Lady Blighttorne said ominously, face darkening.

"SWEET POTATO!" Luz called, running up to her girlfriend. "You made it!"

Amity giggled as Luz wrapped her in a hug and gave a quick perk on the cheek. Luz moved to Amity's side but kept her arm around her girlfriend's waist.

"And you're on time for once," Matt Tholomule replied, walking up to the two and sniffing the air. "And you don't reek of oil and abomination."

Amity rolled her eyes at the comment and looked at her sort of friend with an upbeat smile.

"As hard as this may sound, Tholomule," Amity retorted playfully, "I'm not turning into my father."

Matt, with a slight smile, just shrugged. Amity rolled her eyes as the young witch went into the stadium to find a seat. Still joined at the hip, the couple followed after Matt, eager to get the best seats.

Amity looked at her girlfriend and sighed, feeling her good mood slip away. Luz sensed Amity's eyes on her, and the human witch looked at her.

"Is everything okay, Amity?" Luz asked in concern.

Amity sighed again as She and Luz took a seat. She looked around, seeing Matt not too far from them, and looked back at Luz.

"...Remember when I collapsed during that fight the other day?" Amy asked slowly.

Luz nodded, frowning. That event had been on her mind a lot these last few days. It quickly reached the point where she wasn't concentrating on much else; even Hunter had to voice his concern when Luz couldn't focus on her nightly training.

"...Well," Amity said, getting Luz's attention, "That wasn't the first time."

"WHAT!?" Luz screamed, jumping to her feet. "How come you didn't tell me sooner."

Amity looked around, taking note that her girlfriend's outburst didn't draw much attention. She didn't know how to feel about that. So, she focused on Luz and saw how frantic she was getting.

"Luz," Amity said calmly, "Don't make a scene. Not before the game."

Luz gawked at her girlfriend for a second, then sighed. She took a seat, but her eyes didn't leave Amity. The young inventor took that as her cue to continue.

"I didn't know what was wrong with when it started," Amity explained. "I thought it was worry making me sick."

The human witch stared at her friend in confusion. She didn't connect the dots about her girlfriend's worries.

"Why would you think something like that?" Luz asked curiously

Amity couldn't help but shake her head in slight frustration. Despite maturing so much in the last few years, Luz still had a bit of a problem picking up on certain things.

"Luz, it's nerve-wracking watching your girlfriend run off to fight monsters nearly every week," Amity said slowly, holding her stomach. "I just thought I was getting sick with worry."

Luz looked at her girlfriend, seeing Amity's face fall, and felt a ping of guilt go through her. She reached out and gently took Amity's hand. The young inventor looked her girlfriend in the eyes, and Amity saw the regret in Luz's eyes.

"Get that thought out of your head this instant!" Amity said sharply but kindly.

Luz tried to say something, but Amity was quick to cut her off.

"Luz…If you didn't fight the Blooburn, then many lives would be in danger," the young inventor said. "So I can put up with some stress if that means you're that selfless, brave witch I fell in love with!"

Luz's eyes sparkled, and her cheeks reddened as she stared lovely at her girlfriend. The human witch stared deeply into Amity's eyes, her cheeks blushing a little more. Soon, the young witch's face matched her girlfriend's, and the two leaned in for a kiss.

"...You could please not do this when I'm here?" Matt said dryly. "Or not when you're in a large, crowded area. Titan knows how many lunches were lost because of you two?"

The couple groaned and glared at their friend. Matt smirked their way and then turned his attention to the empty field.
Amity kept glaring at the construction witch, then sighed and looked at her girlfriend. She saw that the concern in Luz's eyes had returned.

"Are you sure you're okay, Amity?" the human witch asked with great concern.

Amity smiled at her girlfriend, but it was somewhat hollow. "For now, yes," She replied, then frowned. "But after the game, I'm heading straight to the hospital and think you and the others should come as well."

Luz frowned as she stared at her girlfriend with growing confusion.

"Dad thinks that my exposure to the Blooburns is causing my attacks," Amity explained calmly. "And if that's the case, I think you should be examined as well."

Luz stared at the witch for a second, more confused than ever. She then gasped as she got what her girlfriend implied. Amity nodded and was about to continue when a strange feeling overtook her.

Amity looked around, frowning. It felt like something was coming, but she couldn't tell where. She heard Luz groan and looked at her girlfriend, noting the bitter frown on Luz's face.

"...I'm getting real sick of this monster of the week stuff," the human witch muttered angrily.

Amity frowned as she wondered what she meant when someone screamed. The young witch looked toward the frown and scowled when she saw a Blooburn step through one of the Order's portals.

The Blooburn had the head of a bull but with four horns instead of two. The second set of horns was smaller, with red tips between the larger sets.

The Blooburn roared as he charged at the blenchers. Of course, people began to flee the area. Luz let out a bitter sigh as she thrust her hands to her waist, connecting her index fingers and thumb to make an upside-down pyramid.

After the Arcle appeared, the human witch thrust her hands into their usual position and went through her standard hand motions.

"Henshin!" Luz cried as she ran to the edge of the bleachers.

Luz jumped from the bleachers. She landed as her Kuuga form appeared around her. The human witch raised her arms to catch the Blooburn as it reached her. Luz grunted as she felt a shock go through her, and her left leg nearly buckled.
Luz gritted her teeth as she fought through the pain and pushed the Bull Blooburn off of her. She didn't get a chance to gain any sort of momentum as the creature's horn surged with red energy. It roared and thrust its head forward, firing a large cone of red energy.

Luz saw the attack was slow and dropped to the ground, rolling to the left to dodge it. She jumped to her feet but didn't get a chance to do much as the Bull Blooburn tackled her. Luz screamed when her back had a painful meeting with a wall.

The Blooburn's horn began charging with energy, and Luz gasped as she realized what was about to happen. She tried to fight her way free, but the Bull-like creature's hold was too strong. The Blooburn's attack was nearly ready to fire when an abomination spear flew into the creature's shoulder.

The Bull Blooburn screamed as he involuntarily jerked back, its hold on Luz loosening. The human witch took the opening and pushed the creature off of her. She followed up with a solid kick to the Blooburn's chest, knocking it back.

The human witch looked up and saw Amity looking at her hands in shock. Luz didn't get a chance to ask anything as she heard a roar and looked back at her opponent. The Blooburn had pulled the spear from its shoulder, crushing it before charging at Luz again.

The Human witch dodged the attack and ran to the center of the field, where she had more room to fight.

Back on the Bleachers, Amity continued to stare at her hands. She couldn't believe it…her magic had hurt the Blooburn, actually hurt it!

"...How did I do that?" Amity asked in wonder.

"Amity!"

The abomination witch looked up and saw Willow, Gus, and Hunter flying towards her. She smiled when she noticed the grimwalker flying on a staff with a bluebird. She raised her hand when something snapped around it.

Amity barely had time to register what was happening when she was jerked into an open portal. The last thing she saw was a vine trying to grab her ankle.

The vine missed by just a hair, and Amity was pulled through the portal.

(SC)

Amity hit the ground with a thud and groaned. The witch shook her head to clear it and looked at her hand. She watched the energy tether disappear and looked up when she heard someone talking to her.

"Child, we need to talk."

Amity looked up and growled when she saw who talked. The woman in the elegant dress looked a lot like her mother, except for a few differences. So, through the process of elimination, the person could only be the one Willow told her about.

"...Lady Blightthorne," Amity growled as she got up.
T

he female knight kept her face neutral while strolling up to the young witch. Amity brought her hands up, making spell circles around her wrists as she got ready for a fight. Lady Blightthorne didn't take the young witch's threat seriously, stopping a few feet and studying Amity.

"...And you're the human witch's lover," the female knight said coldly, then frowned curiously. "The dear captain was right; you do resemble me quite a lot…or more like, you look like my brother."

Amity didn't respond to the female knight, keeping her eyes on her. Lady Bligjhttorne saw this and smiled coldly.

"Ahh, I see the Blight's fire in your eyes," the female knight mused, then her smile faded. "But the time for pleasantries is over. You will come with me."

The female knight took a step toward Amity, and the young witch stepped back. Amity summoned two tendrils of abomination matter and brandished them. Lady Blightthorne didn't stop her advance at the sight.

"You should know that magic of this era witches can-GRAAHH!"

The female knight screamed when one of Amity's abomination tendrils whipped her across the face. Startled, Lady Blighttorne touched the wound on her cheek and felt something wet running down it. She brought out her hand and stared in shock at the blood on her palm.

"You wounded me," the female knight said in shock, looking at Amity. "You managed to actually wound me?"

Amity was just as shocked as the female knight but kept herself composed as she tried to attack again. She thrust both of her abomination tendrils at Lady Blighttorne. The Female knight, unfortunately, recovered from her shock and disappeared in a red flash.

Amity growled and spun around on her heel, expecting the female knight to appear behind her. She saw movement from her right and darted backward, avoiding the butt of a weapon handle.

Amity put some distance between herself and the female knight. Lady Blighttorne raised her axe, staring intensely at the younger witch.

"... You truly have the Blight's fire," the female knight said coldly. "But know you can't win against me. Now, be a good girl and come along."

Amity growled; the more time she spent with this female knight, the more she remained of Odalia. She had that same condescending attitude that Amity had put up with since she was a child.

Even the look Lady Blighthorne gave Amity was so much like Odalia; the female knight saw the young witch as nothing more than an object, something to own. And it was making Amity's blood boil.

Because Amity's focus was on her foe, she didn't notice the faint light coming from her waist. Nor did she see her spell circles flickering between colors; the one on her left wrist was orange, and the right was deep purple.

Amity nearly let her anger get the best of her and attacked. She quickly realized that would be a mistake, which the female knight probably would capitalize on. Instead, she calmed down and focused on Lady Blighttorne, studying her.

Thanks to her training sessions with Luz, the young witch had learned to read body language to a certain degree. She could see that the female knight was experienced; her guard was good, and Amity couldn't see many openings.

A noise caught Amity's attention, and she jumped to her right, dodging an attack that tore through her abomination tendrils. Amity refocused her attention on her opponent, watching as the knight's axe returned to her hand.

The young inventor summoned more abomination matter but decided to take a different approach. She gave it a mental command, and the goo began creeping up the witch's body.

Lady Blightthorne watched with interest as the matter covered the young witch and quickly took a familiar shape. She cocked an eyebrow as she saw the form her opponent had taken was like the human witch's default form.

Amity finished her "transformation" by summoning some abomination matter and shaping it into a sword like the one Luz sometimes uses.

The young witch roared a battle cry and charged her opponent.

Lady Blightthorne used her axe to block her opponent's sword strike. Suddenly, a giant blob of abomination matter shot out from Amity's chest and slammed against the female knight.

Lady Blightthorne gritted her teeth and fought through the pain as she was pushed away from her opponent. With a growl, she thrust her axe down and cut the abomination from the source. She then grabbed the remaining abomination off her chest and threw it away so her opponent couldn't use it against her.

Amity retracted the mass of abomination goo and brought her sword forward. With a cry, she charged the female knight. Lady Blightthorne disappeared in a flash of red, and Amity came to a dead stop.

Instead of trying to figure out where her opponent would appear, Amity thrust her arms to her hips and thrust out her chest, firing small blobs of abomination in all directions. She did this for several seconds, covering a large area and nearly depleting her abomination suit. She also used all the abomination matter that made up her sword.

Lady Blighttorne appeared right in front of Amity the second she stopped her assault. The female knight had her axe raised and charged. Before she could bring it down, she slipped on abomination.

The female knight became unbalanced, and Amity took this opening. She gave a command to the abomination matter she had sprayed in the area. The mass flew over to Lady Blighttorne and covered her legs and arms, holding her in place.

Amity reformed her abomination suit as she walked up to her opponent. She brought up her left hand, made a fist, and thrust it into Lady Blighttorne's gut. The female knight clenched her jaw to keep from screaming as Amity punched her in the gut a second time.

Amity drew back her fist for another punch, and the female knight growled as she had reached her limit.

"ENOUGH!" The female changed into her monster form, the abomination exploding off of her with a burst of blue fire.

Amity was knocked back from the explosion and landed hard on her back, the wind getting knocked out of her. She was trying to get air back into her lungs when Lady Blighttorne grabbed her by the neck.

"...You're better than I was expecting," the female knight said coldly. "But you're still too young to face me as an equal."
Amity tried to fight through the pain and tried using her abomination suit to attack. Lady Blightthorne saw abomination matter began to move and brought up her axe. She charged it and tipped it against her opponent's shoulder.

Amity screamed as she felt the energy surge through her body, and her right arm went numb. It wasn't long before the young inventor felt her entire body numbing and her abomination suit oozed off of her.

The abomination witch was panting and sweating when the female knight pulled her axe away. Still, Amity glared at her opponent as Lady Blightthorne opened a portal.

(Meanwhile, with Luz)

The Bull Blooburn screamed as Luz slammed her charged fist into its head. The creature was sent flying to the ground and exploded a second later.

The human witch was panting as she changed back to normal. She frowned as she looked at the spot where the Blooburn exploded. Luz couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right; the Blooburn had put up a good fight, but she felt like it was stalling more than anything.

"LUZ!"

Luz looked behind her and saw Willow, Gus, and Hunter flying toward her urgently. Her unease worsened as she saw the distress on her friends' faces and realized Amity wasn't with them.

"Guys!" Luz called as her friends reached her. "What's wrong? And Where's Amity"

Willow reached her first and jumped off her staff. "That's what's wrong!" she exclaimed. "Amity was-"

"HUMAN WITCH KUUGA!"

Willow gasped as she recognized that voice, and everyone looked to the right. The female knight emerged from a portal, holding Amity close. Luz nearly choked when she got a good look at Lady Blightthorne and realized Willow was right about the female knight looking a lot like Amity's mother.

The human witch's anger quickly boiled over when she noticed a tendril in her girlfriend's neck. Luz thrust her hands to her waist and summoned her Arcle again. She thrust her hands into the proper position, growling. She was about to do her transformation when Amity screamed at the top of her lungs, stopping Luz before she could begin.

"I wouldn't do anything hastily, human witch," Lady Blighttorne said coldly. "It takes less than a second for a Founder like myself to drain a witch completely."

To hammer her point home, the female knight drained more of Amity's blood and bile. The veins around the spot where the tendril was inserted turned black as more fluid was drained from the witch, and Amity screamed again.

Luz's eyes snapped open when she saw the blackening veins go up her girlfriend's neck, and she dropped her arms to her side. Lady Blightthorne saw this, grinned, then turned her attention to others.

"And that goes the same for all of you," she told the group, then locked eyes with Hunter. "Even you're not fast enough, Grimwalker.

Hunter's eyes widened at this.

"What did you want?" Luz growled.

Lady Blighttorne looked at the human witch with a condescending smile. "It's simple," she replied. "You come over here…NOW!"

The human witch growled, but she began walking over to the female knight. Amity saw her girlfriend approaching, and her eyes widened.

"L-Luz," the young inventor choked out, "Don't-AGGHH!"

The abomination witch screamed when her captor sucked some fluid from her. The female knight didn't even look at her captive, keeping her eyes on the human witch.

"Do not speak unless spoken to, child," Lady Blightthorne said commandingly.

Luz growled but kept approaching the female knight. When she was three feet in front of Lady Blightthorne, the female knight gestured for Luz to stop.

The female knight suddenly thrust out her hand, a tendril flying from her palm. Luz barely had time to gasp as she felt the tendril's tip dig into the right side of her neck. She looked down as the tendril began sucking, her veins blackening.

"LUZ!" Willow, Gus, and Hunter screamed.

Lady Blightthorne grinned triumphantly, but that feeling did not last long; she frowned as she noticed gold lightning sparking around the human witch's belt. A bolt suddenly jumped from the item and stuck the tendril.

Lady Blightthorne hissed from the sudden pain as she pulled her tendril from the human's neck. She retracted the tendril into her hand and scowled as she glared at Luz.

"Seems you still have secrets," the female knight scoffed, making a spell circle. "But everything has a breaking point."

She thrust her hand out, and an energy rope shot from her spell circle. Luz couldn't move fast enough, and the rope tied around her body, locking her arms at her side.

Lady Blightthorne heard footsteps as she walked up to her second captive. She looked over the Human witch's shoulder and saw the two witches and one grimwalker charging her.

The female knight wasn't impressed and made a spell circle. Suddenly, abomination matter shot from the ground and tied the three up. Willow, Gus, and Hunter were all forced onto their knees as the abomination matter tied their hands together, making the witches unable to cast spells.

With those distractions out of the way, Lady Blighttorne made one more spell circle. A portal opened behind Luz, and the female knight grinned sadistically as she pushed Luz through it. Lady Blighttorne looked at Amity, her grin growing when she saw the glare she was getting.

"You're also coming with me," the female knight stated.

She stepped through the portal, which closed a second later, leaving Willow, Gus, and Hunter in shock.
