Stars' eyes met with Marcos as they took turns reading the title over and over again to make sure that neither of them were going insane. Marco's uneasy face turned into a "you're joking, right?" face. He thought … actually, he didn't know what he thought because all of the things that COULD exist did exist. This "magical" book is nothing new to him. But that didn't stop him from snatching the book from Star and reading the word "metaverse" over and over again.

"Metaverse? What a bunch of baloney. There's no such thing as a 'metaverse'." He says, laughing at a joke in a book. Star snatched the book back, "Marco! Don't judge a book by its cover!" This only made Marco laugh more. Star rolled her eyes and changed her focus back to the book. "This could teach us about traveling to other worlds!" Marco continued to chuckle, "Star, we've been to every world imaginable." Star shakes her head.

Marco, obviously confused, asks, "What are you shaking your head for?" Star flipped the book around and pointed to a piece of purple text, "It doesn't just give us the power of multiverse, but it brings us the power to get other characters from different media!" "Something tells me that you don't have any idea of what you just said." Star gives a smile as she thought of an example. She then saw a tiny snail on her back hand side. She looked at Marco, than the Snail, "What if there a character that was named Snails? He could just be there in another reality and we don't even know it!!" Marco rolled his eyes, "Star, even he did exist in another universe, it won't matter. We can't bring him here with a simple measly magic book." "Well can we just TRY!?" Star yelled and Marco shushed her.

"Fine. But it's YOUR disappointment when it doesn't work. How do we even work the multiverse thing?" Star opens the book and reads the lines. "To call upon the person who you wish, speak this line like this, 'I would like to call upon {Name} to my world'." She raises the snail and chants the line, "I would like to call upon Snail to my world!" A few moments passed and the only thing that the book did was glow dimly. Star looked at the book again and changed the line again, a little confused. Marco looked closer at the book, "it says to chant 3 times" he says while he chuckled sarcastically. Star didn't give up though, as she chanted the line one more time. Nothing happened.

Instead of being cocky, Marco reassured star, "See? Nothing happened. Even though I'm sorry it didn't. Now. Let's go home. You can bring the book if you want to though." He walked away and Star put the book back on the ground. Sad, she placed the snail in the middle of the book, "You can keep it. It matches you anyway" and smiled sadly and walked away.

Once the two had walked away, the snail looked down on the book. The book started to glow more brightly and a white flash and a portal opened up. From the portal, a hoof was placed on the ground.
