Chapter 1
"You know what's worse than regular rain?" asked Taiju. "No." Senku anwsered."Rain in the Stone world. All it's done for 2 days is rain and were no closer to creating the Revival fluid." Taiju states."I'm 10 billon percent positive there is a cave nearby." Senku said. After about 50 complaints from Taiju they arrived at the cave.
They started to walk down the path of the cave and heard a noise. Senku put a finger to his lips as Taiju pulled out an ax. Sudenly they saw a girl and Taiju was about to swing his ax. The girl grunted in pain "Please don't hurt me." The girl said. Taiju nodded. "Who are you?" asked Senku glancing at her abdomen. "I'm Kohaku." The Girl anwsered. "Kohaku where are you from." Taiju asked. "A village about 4 miles from here." Kohaku anwsered with a wince. "That's pretty far must be getting some shelter like we are." Taiju said.
"Well that was not my attention, I was picking some berries when I started getting cramps it's to early." Kohaku said with a wince. "Too early for what?" Taiju said scratching his head in confusion. "You're more of an idiot than I thought you were. She's pregnant can't you tell." Senku said. Taiju stared at Senku in confusion. Senku rolled his eyes and stated, "Too early for labor moron." "Ok that makes since. Well we need to get her back to her village." Taiju said trying to help Kohaku up. Senku slapped his hands away and stood up and whispered. "I think it might be a too late for that now." "I'm sure thay have a midwife there, you expect us to do it." Taiju asked. "She won't make it in time and there is no we. I will do it, you get supplies. Senku said
"Do you know how?" asked Taiju." "Not my preference but I do know how." Senku said. Taiju nodded. "Kohaku, I think you're in labor. When did the pains start?" Senku asked. "Sunrise." Kohaku anwsered. "That was about 4 hours ago that isn't good." Senku asked feeling her abdomen." "Close together, they're close together. I need to get back to the village midwife is there." Kohaku said trying to get up but collapsed because of the pressure.
"Sorry but you have to stay here. You wouldn't make it to the exit of the cave." Senku said. "Have to get there." Kohaku said. Senku layed her down flat. "Taiju go get some water by the stream put it in the bucket and I need you're fur coat and hurry." Senku said. "Sure." Taiju said.
Chapter 2
Taiju arrived back at the cave with the water. Kohaku grabbed Senku's arm." "Pressure lots of pressure." Kohaku stated placing her legs up. Senku looked serious he moved in front of her and signaled Taiju over, "Get behind her so she can lean against you." Senku said. "No thank you too weird." Taiju said. "Well how do you think I feel. Now man up and do it. I'm doing the bloody work." Senku demanded. Taiju sighed but did it anyway.
"Come on you have to push." Senku said. Kohaku shook her head and refused. Senku sighed at he watched the baby try to crown. "You know you're making this harder on yourself, Kohaku." Senku told her. Kohaku clenched and the head slipped back in. Senku shook his head "No we're not doing that you're going to hurt yourself and the baby." Senku told her as he watched the baby crown again.
Kohaku frowned again but screamed as the pressure increased. She tried to clench again but couldn't because Senku was holding her open. "Now you are going to push like you're body is telling you to before you tear." Senku said firmly. It took a minute but Kohaku finally listened to her body. She gave a huge push and the baby fuly crowned. "Good now do it again." Senku said. Kohaku nodded gave a small push but stopped and screamed.
"Senku what's going on." Taiju asked concerned. "Nothing the baby is just big 8 or 9 pounds I'd say." Senku said. Taiju winced. Kohaku screamed and pushed again baby's head slid all the way out. "Very good we just have to get the shoulders out." Senku said. What Senku didn't say was the baby's size he was worried about ths baby getting stuck or her tearing. Kohaku pushed again felt a shoulder slide out. Senku rotated the baby. Kohaku screamed and gave a push. Senku caught the baby as it slid out. "I got him you can relax." Senku said as he cut the cord with his knife and wrapped the baby up in the fur coat.
Chapter 3
Taiju saw the blood on Senku's hands and on the cave floor. "Is that amount of blood loss normal?" Taiju asked. Senku nodded as he removed the afterbirth. "That is so gross." Taiju said. "What did you expect it to be clean?" Senku asked. Taiju shook his head. "By the way you never told me your names." Kohaku asked. "I'm Senku, this is Taiju." Senku anwsered. "Well thank you Senku and Taiju." Kohaku said.
