In the period Rider found herself in, she had acclimated very quickly. With the Holy Grail War ending bizarrely, she took to her new life with contentment. She had picked up a few hobbies, mainly reading and cycling. Cycling came naturally to her, she took pride in her skill, being naturally fast with the thing. The crimson-red bike became her prized possession, and it meant a lot to her. Everyone in the Emiya Household knew of this.

Which is why it was a problem that her bike was missing. What should have been a wonderful morning quickly plummeted to misery. She would get to the bottom of this, whoever stole her bike would pay! She quickly entered the household, heading to Sakura's room.

"Sakura, are you in there?" The door slid open, her former master staring at her.

"Ah, Rider, what's the matter?"

"It appears my bike has been stolen. If you aren't busy I was wondering if you-"

"Of course, I'll help you!" The girl boldly proclaimed, Rider smiled at her spirit.

"Thank you, Sakura. I believe the first person to interrogate is-" She looked at the girl, unable to continue. Sakura looked uneasy, a far cry from her proclamation just a minute ago.

"Rider, you don't think I took it, right?" Rider shook her head at the question.

"The thought never crossed me. I already crossed you, Shirou, and Taiga off the list. Taiga has her scooter, she wouldn't want my bicycle. You wouldn't take anything of mine without asking. And then Shirou is Shirou, I don't believe I need to elaborate." Sakura smiled, relief washing over her.

"Alright, so our first suspect is Saber, correct?" Rider nodded at her question, and the duo quickly made their way to Saber's room.

SUSPECT #1: SABER

"Eh, Rider, Sakura?" Saber was dressing up in her maid costume for her job. She was almost done when the duo came in.

"Saber, Sakura, and I need to ask you some questions."

"Rider is right, Saber, did you take Rider's bike?" The blonde looked at them shocked.

"Why would I take it? It serves me no purpose." Rider looked at her, not fully convinced.

"I recall yesterday, you were in a rush getting to work. You then took my bike and raced to work. You then forgot to bring it back. Perhaps you wanted to ride it yourself. Saber shook her head at her line of thinking.

"Lies, everyone knows I walk to work. I had to run to work yesterday, to make it on time. If I did take it like you claimed, I would most certainly bring it back She looked at them, with an angry expression. "To make such accusations, I won't stand here and foolishly listen to them." She exited her room, before turning back to the duo.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have something called work to attend, unlike you two. Good day!"

"She's too agitated, Rider. I don't think we should cross her out just yet." Rider nodded in agreement.

"She's also flat-out lying. I have a part-time job." They also left the room, having other suspects to interrogate.

"Rider, Sakura, where are you both going?" The pair turned around, Shirou looking at them.

"Shirou, Sakura, and I will be busy. We are currently trying to find the person who stole my bike."

"Your bike? I-"

"It's okay, senpai!" She looked at him, before looking flustered. "D-dont worry! We don't think you're a suspect!"

"Sakura is right, Shirou. Rest assured, we both know you didn't steal it."

"Wait-" The redhead was cut off again, by Sakura.

"Senpai, we'd love to talk to you, but not now! We'll talk later, okay!" The two of them left, leaving Shirou the sole resident of the house. The two of them headed off, to the Matou mansion. There is someone they would need to grill.

SUSPECT #2: SHINJI MATOU

"Yeah, yeah. Shut up with the knocking, before I-" The seaweed hair boy couldn't continue his sentence. Intense fear crawled over him, seeing the menacing duo before him. The boy did his best to hide it.

"Shinji Matou, we would like to question you. Please allow us a few minutes of your time," Rider calmly said. Shinji scoffed at her, not caring about what she had to say.

"Yeah well, I don't have time. Come back some other-" He was about to close the door. Unfortunately, that didn't happen because Sakura slammed it open. She looked at him, her eyes closed and a smile on her face. Despite her outward appearance, a sinister aura was bubbling, and Shinji could feel it.

"Nii-san, we just want to talk. You wouldn't want to make us angry, would you?"

"N-no you wouldn't! Please come in, come in." They entered the living room, where Rider Stood, staring at the boy. Sakura was sitting on the sofa, watching intently.

"Now Shinji, this is about my bike. You know, the bike you made fun of a few days ago."

"Y-yeah so what? It's an old antique. There's nothing special about it. It's better left in a junkyard." Rider grew angry but decided to let her partner handle the rest. There was another way to make the boy suffer.

"Sakura, would you like to take over?" Sakura stood up, looking at her brother.

"Nii-san~" A black shadow was unleashed, wrapping around Shinji's thin body. The terrified boy was pulled into the air, his screams echoing throughout the mansion. Rider watched on, smiling at the situation.

"I-I swear, I didn't steal it!"

"The way you talked about my bike, you seem like the prime suspect, Shinji. Perhaps I should turn you into stone." She slowly began taking off her glasses, amplifying the boy's fears to new heights.

Wouldn't you notice if I came by, and took it? The only place I saw it was Emiya's house! He has a bunch of people there, someone would notice, right?" The boy's final desperate plea was acknowledged by Sakura.

"Rider, maybe Nii-san is right. We would be alerted to any intruder because of the bounded field. Even at night, Nii-san is usually out partying, he wouldn't have the energy to steal." She brought the terrified boy down, who was still cowering in fear.

"You're off the hook now, Shinji. But rest assured, if I find anything linking you to the theft. I will come back, and turn you into stone." The two left the horrified seaweed-haired boy.

For the next hour, the duo made their way through many locations. These included the library and the maid cafe Saber worked at. Inside, they asked the employees if they saw a red bike. To their dismay, no one knew anything. As the two of them walked, Rider grew frustrated.

"Where could it have gone? Yesterday I had it, and then the next day, it's gone."

"Rider, if we don't find it. She blushed a bit before continuing. "I could get you a new one." Rider looked at the girl, shaking her head.

"No, Sakura. You don't have to waste your money. I'll save up, and get a new one. Before we go back, there's one more person we can interrogate."

SUSPECT #3: RIN TOHSAKA

"Rider, is Nee-san really a suspect?" The two of them stood near the Tohsaka residence.

"Anyone can be a suspect, Sakura." They rang her doorbell, and she appeared.

"Oh, Sakura!" The two sisters smiled at one another. "And Rider, what can I do for you?"

"Rin, we need a few minutes of your time."

"Sure, come in." The three of them sat down in the living room, as another round of questions began.

"So, your bike disappeared? That's a pity, but why come to me?" She immediately realized why and grew annoyed. But she suppressed it with some laughter.

"You really think I would take it?"

"Yes," Rider said with no hesitation. This caused Rin's facade to break, and her irritability to increase.

"That's nonsense!"

"I wonder why you and Saber get annoyed. It's simple questions, your annoyance makes you look more suspscious."

"It's because you believe we would take your stuff! We aren't thieves!"

"Anyone is a suspect, Rin. Anyone is capable of stealing, including you."

"Okay, and what would I gain from stealing your bike?"

"Nee-san is right, Rider. She can't even ride one, she never learned how." Rin began blushing furiously at the statement.

"Sakura, you don't need to tell her that!"

"What? It's true. It also helps your case." Rider processed the information given to her, before continuing.

"So, you can't ride a bike."

"You better not tell anyone else."

"I got it, you sold it." The other two girls looked at her with shocked expressions.

"Sold it? Are you crazy, why would I sell it?"

"To make more money. Your gems are expensive, and Sakura told me you are tight on money. You sold my bike to make some extra cash."

"Right because a bike would get me tons and tons of yen. Especially a normal one like yours."

"You scammed the buyer into thinking it was an antique. You have your cunning ways." Rin sighed in exasperation.

"That's it, both of you can go. I'm in no mood for this." Rider was about to protest, before Sakura's stomach grumbled.

"Rider, maybe we should go home. I'm hungry. We can continue later after a break." Rider sighed, and nodded.

"Fine, we'll take a break." The two of them left, leaving an annoyed Rin behind.

"Oh, welcome back, Rider, Sakura," Shirou greeted the two girls, as they entered. "I'm glad your back, I needed to say-"

"Shirou, not now. I'm not in the best mood."

"I'll listen, senpai!" Sakura said, turning to the boy.

"It's about your bike, Rider." Rider immediately grew interested, giving Shirou her full attention.

"You found it? Who was the culprit?"

"Me." Both girls looked at him, before laughing.

"Shirou, I must admit your humor is improving! You seem to know the right time to add levity to a situation." Rider quietly chuckled to herself. Shirou grew annoyed by this display.

"If you two can stop laughing, I can explain."

"Ok, show me my bike." Shirou nodded, and ushered them outside. True to his word, it was there, in all its splendor.

"You actually have it, but how? It's not like you to steal, Shirou." Sakura nodded in agreement.

"When you came back yesterday, you complained about the bike's performance. I went to inspect it, and noticed some faults that need repair. I was about to start on them, but realized I was getting late for work. So I ended up taking it with me. Once I got there, Neko-san directed me to a bike shop, and I dropped it there. I tried to tell you in the morning, but the two of you left. It's my fault for not telling you I was taking it to work with me yesterday, I apologize Rider." Rider looked at the boy, and sighed. She couldn't be mad at it, his honesty cooled her anger.

"It's alright, Shirou. You didn't have ill intentions." She looked at the bike, and smiled. She got on it, before turning back to Sakura and Shirou.

"I'll be off."

"Wait Rider don't you want to take a-" Shirou didn't continue, as Rider rode off with great speed. Shirou turned to Sakura, who's stomach grumbled again.

"Come on, Sakura, let's go inside. I got something delicious cooked." The purple haired girl nodded, and soon the day resumed like any other.
