Regalus had a vision as they walked past Westminister.
A few kids were at the Great Hall after meeting Hagrid by the boats, including a lanky redhead that must be Rupe's cousin Ron, as there was only one of the boy. A boy with messy hair and a scar, who resembled Jameswas there too,he must be Harry in the future. There was a bushy haired girl who seemed arrogant, and not to have been given values.
Harry and the bushy haired girl were snickering at Hagrid behind his back. Both of them had ugly, bigoted expressions. Regalus was disappointed Harry wasn't raised with much values, and repeated his parents' and aunt's mistakes. Especially since his mother showed bigotry to goblins. These nasty wizards and witches needed to respect the magical population that magic and customs that were far beyond their understanding. Creatuers like Rupe, Hagrid, and Kreacher had more values than these little brats. The bushy haired girl seemed to be dressed like a muggleborn, not really knowledgable or exposed to pure wizard fashion. Harry was dressed that way too. But it was very rich and hypocritical of the muggleborn to laugh at Hagrid.
They saw the two meet the lanky haired boy and mock him about his brothers' rumors.
"Ok gross it's Ron not Ronald. Why are you talking to me? Or worst, using my full name? I don't remember saying you can call me Ronald. You're not my friend, or should I say grandmum, because only she calls me Ronald," Ron stared them down with Seamus, Dean, and Blaise(2nd cousin once removed) behind him. "Yeah ok, you read about guy parts in text books. You're so superior Hermio. Maybe my brothers were making a parody of you, that means make fun of, because you were so scared even after you found out what it really is, you read every little detail on getting sorted." Ron laughed in her face.
"You're full of it Her-mio-knee. You too Potty-er. I overheard you making fun of Hagrid, that's pathetic. Aren't you a muggleborn Her-mio-knee? Maybe Hagrid can say the same thing about your parents because how are you a witch?"
"How dare you-" Hermione snarled. Harry glared at him but Ron held his stare down, being taller and growing up quidditch wrestling with 5 brothers.
"What? Can't take what you dish out? Maybe you should learn about all the different creatures and how they live before you judge anyone?" Ron gave her a nasty look, mocking Hermione.'s tone "Before you run your obnoxious mouth?"
"Yeah me mum says learn about different people and walk a mile in their shoes before you judge them," Seamus says. "Me mum is also heavily pro union."Both boys caught Lavender and Parvati's eyes, and winked.
"Jeez I didn't know muggle borns were so bigoted and ignorant," Ron said. "My family is open minded even though my grandmother is a Black, and we're part of the sacred 28. That means we're from a line of purebloods, it works like muggle royalty lineage. My father doesn't judge or deny any creatures or any blood status equal treatment at his job. He supports unions for everyone."
Ron looked up and down at Hermione, then Harry. "By the way stay away from my brothers, and my cousins - who are much older and out of Hogwarts. They won't like hearing you were trying to bully me and Hagrid, in the most pathetic, childish way"
"You mean like your cousin the Black Widow?" Harry mocked, childishly.
"Yeah her, my mum, but maybe concentrate on your God father? Or your own mum the goblin fan," Blaise retorted. Blaise was defensive about his mom."What kind of massive school drama did they have, anyways?"His older sisters, both maledictuses, were attending school in France.
Harry got fired up, but Ron fluidly shifted his weight to prepare for a scuffle, staring Harry down. Ron had plenty of beef with his own brothers and cousin, the stuck up boy was nothing compared to them.
Ron mockingly looked over the duo. "You probably think the wizarding papers can be monitored, overriding our right to free speech in this republic. Slander is illegal but persuing a slander case takes a lot of court cases, unless you're rich. Maybe you want to avoid slandering Hagrid, he might have enough family inheritence to sue you for slander. Or my cousin, she has a bit of money, she can afford to sue you. My cousin and Charlie told me about they're not intersted in valueless, mannerless people who are full of themselves like you. My cousins and brothers had lots of friends who were never arrogant or flaunted hteir money. We inherited small property, that went half to my uncle Billius, and half to my family. But we're not obnoxious to everyone like you two. They're older and won't be interested in your chidlishness."
Ron turned on his heel and left with Seamus and Dean. Hermione looked like she was going to cry for getting whta she dished out. Seamus gave them a look as them as they passed.
Rupe looked at Regalus. He shook his head, then told her what he saw. Rupe was shocked that the values some the kids was so lacking. So much bad attitude.
She inherited half of the castle estate dating back to 1515. It was big. Billius-Kasper, and her uncle Arthur's family inherited it equally when it was rennovated, as it was crumbling .She would stay there with all her cousins, and none of them would ever be so arrogant or bigoted to another being. They wouldn't fight like dogs for who inherited the castle from their respective fathers. There was 9 of them in total. Billius-Kasper would pass on his half to his kids Rupertini and Linny, and Arthur would pass on his half to his 7 kids. And since Rupe and Linny had to share less of the inheritence, they would share with their cousins. And her cousins wouldn't accept it.
But it seems not all half blood wizard or muggleborn bipedal wand weilders were as generous as the Weasleys. And the Weasleys were purebloods, not to mention Blacks.
Rupe was extremely glad she was a magical creature because of a Maledictus curse that was fine tuned by a River Genie. Rupe was turned into a 1/3 genie, 1/3 leprechaun, and 1/3 fairy by the curse. She didn't have any of those beings as ancestors, all her ancestors were wizards(Blacks and Weasleys), she just was genetically 1/3 of three beings through the curse. The River Genie gave Rupe a maledictus curse on her that made her a being that looked very much like a witch. A genetic combination of those beings gave Rupe an appearnce that was similar to witches. The River Genie did this as a way to grant Rupe's grandparents' wish, since the River Genie couldn't end the Weasley curse.
The Blacks thought Septimus would usurp the Black Lordship since he had a family curse that only let him have males, while Blacks struggled to have more than 2 males every generation due to constant inbreeding. They threatened to poison the Weasleys, including Cedrella.
Septimus and Cedrella knew the curse was far from broken when Billius-Kasper and Arthur were born. They went to a genie for help when Billius-Kasper was 20 and Arthur 16. They asked for a wish. A genie gave them a boon. The boon was Billius-Kasper's wife would get the Maledictus curse, which would pass to the child before birth. The child would be 1/3 genie, 1/3 leprechaun, 1/3 fairy Maledictus. The genie advised Billius-Kasper to marry right away.
Septimus and Cedrella did just that. Kasper and Luca Brown were married right away, and Luca's parents' barely constented. Luca went along with the plan because she was betrothed to Avery Not and this broke her betrothal. Since Ruperin got the Maledictus curse in the womb, she already had being genes, and the Weasley curse didn't effect her. She was born a female. The important thing was the Blacks were convinced the Weasley curse was over. Ruperin's 1/3 geneie, 1/3 leprechaun, and 1/3 fairy genes were dormant until night time, when they changed her appearance at night when she was a kid; so she looked like a full Weasley as a kid, except she had some creature genes mixed into her because she was a maledictus since she was in the womb. Overtime when she was 12, her 1/3 genie, 1/3 leprechaun, and 1/3 fairy genes were no longer dormant, and fully changed her appearance. It was chalked up to just her talking after her mother's side more than the Weasleys.
And when she had kids, her now limited family genes would be passed on to them. Because the maledictus curse developed in the womb, the Rupertini couldn't be a different being. Instead she was born half the beings and 1/4 Weasley.
Daughters would be born 1/3 genie, 1/3 leprechaun, and 1/3 fairy maledictus like her along with some of her family genes. Like she was. They would change to full 1/3 genie, leprechaun, and fairy after some time.
Sons would be born with some Black, Rosier, Weasley, and Brown genes mixed with more being genes. If the mother was fully turned when they were born. Or if not turned, less being genes, because the mother was born a mix. Normal maledictus had pure wizard sons if they had sons before they turned into the being or weren't in the being form. If they had a son afterwards, the son was mostly a being but part wizard.
Rupertini was born a mix since the maledictus curse reached the 3rd stage when she was in the womb. Shhe could turn back into a 1/4 genie, 1/4 leprechuan, 1/4 fairy, and 1/4 human. Or change into full maledictus form: 1/3 genie, 1/3 leprechuan, and 1/3 fairy.
That said, RupertinihatedMagical Britian. She turned to Regalus. "This place is a bigoted sh*t hole. These wizards are sick and bigots. They blame Ron and my cousins for bigotry when none of these coneheads really care about creatures.The fck you I have minecancer mentality that makes them secret sympathizers of blood purity."
"Or bigoted enough for you-know-who to offer creatures actual freedom that they, the colonizers, never gave the creatures. Because none of these coneheads understand Union, and how oppressed, colonized species need it as much as the wizard working class." Regalus nodded, "Yeah I had another vision."
Hermione was spreading lies that Ron attacked her because he thought she was weaker. It was the other way around. Hermione kept targetting Ron because she felt she was superior. Excessive hormones, attraction to men her dad's age, and wanton atitiude didn't make her superior to Ron. Ron saw the way she ogled Snape in potions, and gagged.
She was spoiled, and likely couldn't adult, as much as Harry couldn't later on. She definitely had no accountability.
As much as she slandered Ron she forgot her own bigotry to Hagrid, and also Harry's bigotry to Ron's cousin Rupertini. Ron didn't talk to her after telling her not to call him Ronald, because she wasn't his grandmother.
One day during Quidditch training, Ron was checking the quaffles after Hooch left. "You can't do that, Ronald," Hermione bossily said.
"First off, it's Ron, grandma. Secondly, you're not a professor. Mind your own business," Ron replied.
Harry got in Ron's face but Ron pushed him off. Blaise and Seamus were behind Ron. "Leave him alone man," Dean told Harry and Hermione. "Don't single him out for his hair."
Blaise bristled. "Yo homie, I'm a ginger too. I'm his 2nd cousin."
"Yeah but you're like me," Dean replied.
"Nah my father was hispanic," Blaise replied. The truth was he was 2/10 river genie, 2/10 leprechaun, and 2/10 fairy and 4/10 Weasley/Black/Rosier. So he had a darker complexion than he normally would've had.
"Ok," Dean replied. "Close enough." Blaise smiled at him.
But Harry and Hermione kept arguing with Ron. Harry aimed something at Ron's head and Hermione violently poked his shoulder until Parvati grabbed Hermione's hand. "Get off him," Parvati pushed Hermione's hand back. "Leave my boyfriend alone." She glared at Hermione."Keep your hands to yourself, you ain't shit."
Parvati also rounded on Harry. "Stop attacking him or I will throw something at your head." She turned back to both of them. "I don't think you like gingers. This feels like a targetted attack." Blaise nodded, approvingly.
"Hey how dare you," Harry cut in.
Parvati stepped closer to Harry, "you and her need to keep your cheap hands to yourself, you ain't shit."
Then Hooch came back and they broke up.
"Thanks," Ron told Parvati.
"Anytime, maybe they don't like you because you have ginger hair," Parvati told him. "I hate this school, it's hard being a minority here. I never had this problem at my muggle school, I hate this place made me feel so uncomfortable that I had to bring it up. I blame this school. When I was the only minority at a muggle school or at my home town in South Wales, I never had this problem at all. It's just this place, I feel isolated for being a fringe minority. I'm not the only one, Blaise feels it too. And I was in Canada, with a group that was just a different subethnic race to me. They were bigots, colorists, and everything to me. But they never were openly violent like here."
"Yeah I do," Blaise agreed. "Seamus had his moments as an Irish guy. I don't know about Dean, he is kind of quiet."
"Yeah and Weasleys are 100% Irish," Ron told Blaise. "It might've been different for you," he said quietly, so no one else could hear them.
"Oh I know, but I have more freckles than Blarie and Pearline," Blaise replied, equally quietly. "And we're triplets."
"Anyways I heard those two make fun of Hagrid," Ron said. "And talk about him. None of these self righteous wizards or witches care about all the other beings, but they wanna say we hate muggle borns because we're purebloods. They don't care. It's a fck you I have mine attitude."
"Well anyways I want to leave this school," Parvati said. "Lavender and a few others are great. But Hermione is whack. She is also violent with Harry. I want to be around central Europe ."
Meanwhile Blaise went to the twins, and the trio pranked Hermione and Harry. That left them with feathers stuck to them, and imps following them with cupid arrows. It wasn't even that bad but the duo were so immature they tried to attack Ron over it again. So Blaise, being cunning, told Snape that Hermione and Harry were harassing him and his friends. He didn't mention Ron incase Snape turned a blind eye to Ron, a Gryffindor. Blaise knew Snape was very fed up with the twins. A furious Snape stopped Hermione and Harry from jinxng Ron in the hallways. And took 20 points from Gryffindor and gave them detention.Blaise, Ron, and Parvati smirked as Snape let them have it.
That was what lead Rupe to move to Macedonia with Staerling. She convince her uncle and family to follow her there one day. Macedonia had more creature rights there. As well as more clan lands. She was able to find Latin food, Italian food, some tex-mex, and Turkish food. The Patils also moved from Britian to France much later on.
The future of magical Britian wasn't an insular, isolated Isle, lacking culture and behind the times. So Rupe just left it for good, she might slowly moving east until she reached Asia in the future.
