The Time for Flowers

The flowers looked so pretty, so different from the ones back home; that was what Emmy knew very well.
Seeing the flowers was a lot of fun with Cassie, and especially when they were in bloom. The jingle flowers chimed like jingle bells, and the giggle flowers would giggle and laugh, and Emmy was left in awe.
Cassie loved taking Emmy to such sights. Though it was what she knew every day, to Emmy it was quite an adventure. She and Max were from another world, one that was different, and their home was very similar to Dragon Land.
They were different, dragon and human, and yet they had a lot in common; they loved to explore, to see what more was out there.
As Emmy pointed to the flowers in the garden, Cassie motioned forward, and with a smile, they went to gaze upon more of what else was there, together.
