News From Mister Ernst Part 1
One hot day at the Bar None Dude Ranch, Bradley Taylor awoke to the sound of a bugle reveille.
"Please, Mister Ernst," Brad complained. "it's six o'clock in the morning!"
Melody got out of her own bed, "I guess we had better be waking the boys." she groaned irritably.
"I guess so," Brad sighed. "Jake can sleep through a hurricane if one would let him!"
Both girls dressed quickly then ran to the boys' bunkhouse.
When they got to the boys' bunkhouse, Melody and Brad soon discovered that Jake and Danny's bunks were empty.
"Where are those boys?" Melody asked.
"Looking for us?" a male voice asked.
Brad and Melody turned to see Danny and Jake standing right behind them.
The voice that spoke was Jake's.
"There you are!" Brad exclaimed.
"How long have you been up?" Melody inquired.
"We've been up since four o'clock." Jake answered Melody.
"Come along," Danny said to Melody and Brad. "Mister E's got something highly important to tell us in his office!"
