AnimeFan13579: Well, you'll see.

NovaSudanaPutra: *give you a thumb up*

Fredward1:...I ain't listening to a guy with a Joker dressed as... whatever he is as a profile picture, who says his 'flaming' is called 'constructive criticism with flaming aspect' or 'constructive flaming.' What you suggest can't be even called 'criticism' at all. First of all, telling me that Gates should only occur to him, shows that you didn't read Solo Leveling properly. That's not how Solo Leveling's Gate works. Second, don't say Shadow Monarch's personality shines through because it's another proof that you didn't read Solo Leveling. You only care for the badassness of the manhwa's arts and how Sung curb stomps its enemies, not how the story progresses. Sung and Izuku are two completely different characters with two different upbringings, even if there are similarities. But in the end, they are two different people. If you can't see that, go to the doctor to see if you have problems with your eyes. Also, being a Shadow Monarch doesn't change their personality into a 'cool, badass' MC with cold. Shadow Monarch's power didn't do that; tose change of personality came from Sung's action alone. Don't diss his character development with such a terrible and ignorant comment. Whatever copium you're inhaling, I suggest you stop because, frankly, my 'friend', you concerned me.

Might Tower

Roppongi, Minato

Tokyo, Japan

"So..."

Yagi and the kids sit at the dining table, full of food. The kids, who are starving, immediately consume everything on the sight.

"How did you get that injury, All Might?" Izuku can't help but ask. "Is it when you fought Toxic Chainsaw? I mean, your performance has slowed down since that time, from the daily heroism from morning to night, now only about a few hours a day. Not that I expect the reason behind it will be because of injuries. Or is Toxic Chainsaw a cover story made by the higher-ups to hide the true villain?"

"...Tsukauchi wasn't joking when he said you are smart," Yagi mutters in utter disbelief. "No, I did fight Toxic Chainsaw, but it wasn't because of him. It was from another villain."

"Who could've dealt such damage to you? I mean, you tanked missiles and you brushed off a car slamming into you." Eijirou asks curiously.

"It's a secret that I shouldn't tell you-!" Yagi was unable to finish his sentence.

"Is it All For One? The boogeyman?" Izuku asks, causing Yagi to cough, but there's a lack of blood. Yagi couldn't help but feel a bit surprised as he was too used to blood spitting out of his mouth.

"Izu-bro, you know that it's just an old legend, right?" Eijirou says as Izuku stares at his best friend with a deadpan expression, confusing him. He then realizes that he is introduced to the world of magic, something that has come out of the fantasy story. This causes Eijirou to blush in embarrassment.

"H-how...did you come to such a conclusion?" Yagi asks, curious at how Izuku did it.

"Given how magic exists, I bet that some old legends do exist as well. Besides, a quirk to steal another quirk is less bizarre than calling out the power of constellation in a spirit form or raising the dead army." Izuku deadpans. "Not to mention, I bet that HPSC knows the existence of All For One but made it everyone believes to be a mere legend. They did it with magics and dungeons, so it's not out of the question."

"...if you don't have solid evidence, people might think your words are mere 'conspiracy theory.'" Yagi mutters before he sighs. "But yes, it is All For One."

"I never expect you to confirm it so easily," Izuku says with a raised eyebrow.

"I was informed about the world of magic and dungeons, so it's fair for me to share this information," Yagi says with a smile.

"Thank you for trusting us with the secret," Ochako says as Yagi laughs.

"No need! Besides, you managed to heal me completely even though Recovery Girl had done her best!" Yagi exclaims as the kids can't help but remember the rotten meatball Yagi pukes when he gets hit by the healing ray and turns green.

"What...even is that anyways?" Ochako asks hesitantly.

"Quirk-made tumor," Yagi says casually, causing the kids to turn even more green as Yagi ponders. "Now that I think about it, it does make sense. Young Uraraka's healing magic easily heals me. I mean, Quirk was completely neutralized by magic."

This causes Eijirou and Ochako to flinch, remembering their experiences in the dungeon. Eijirou's quirk was completely useless under the boss' weapons while Ochako's anti-gravity didn't affect the boss.

"Yeah..." They say in unison while looking away. Yagi was a bit surprised at their reaction before looking at Izuku, who shook his head. He then remembers Tsukauchi once mentioned they got involved by accident, causing Yagi to feel guilty for reminding them of such an unpleasant experience.

"Sorry, I was a bit insensitive there..." Yagi mutters.

"I-it's fine..." Both say in unison. They understand Yagi didn't mean to remind them of those moments.

"Let's...talk about something else..." Izuku says as they all nodded.

"How was your progress?" As Yagi says this, Izuku slams his fist into the table in anger. This action startles Yagi, not expecting this from Izuku, but he also notices his friends let out exasperated sighs, making him even more confused.

"...scared." Izuku mutters.

"...I beg your pardon?" Yagi asks in confusion.

"All those fuckers are all scared!!" Izuku screams in rage, flames coming out of his throat, sending shivers into Yagi's spine. "Those cowards ran off and made things difficult!! I was tasked to grind by hunting down demons, yet all of them ran off with their tails between their legs, panicking like a group of headless chickens!! This made our grinding difficult!! We only reached the 5th floor because although I hid Mamoru from them, they all still ran off!! This is why I fucking hate grinding!"

Yagi could only sweatdrop as Izuku comically breathed flame out of his mouth while raging, and his friends tried and failed to calm him down. The rage reminds him somewhat of his old mentor, and he can't help but feel a bit scared.

"I-I see..." Yagi mutters nervously. Izuku snaps out of his rage before he grins sheepishly.

"S-sorry..." Izuku says before they all continue to eat. Yagi also joins in, silently crying as he is enjoying the fact that he now can eat any food after years of living without a functioning stomach.

"I never got the chance to say this, but thank you," Yagi says to Ochako.

"Please don't. I was too panicked when I did that and I could've cast a wrong spell." Ochako says. "You could've burned to ashes if I decided to cast [Flame of Courage] instead."

"..." Yagi silently gulps before continuing to eat. The boys stare at their friend in disbelief, somewhat pale at Ochako's words. Ochako realizes how she accidentally describes such a gruesome scene and blushes before looking down, refusing to make eye contact with others.

Later

"Thanks for the help, Yagi-san."

Izuku and the rest can be seen in a train station as Yagi also decides to follow them.

No, it is not because he's a pedo.

"No problem," Yagi says with a smile. "I'm very glad to meet you three. I hear a lot of your stories from Tsukauchi, but seeing it myself is an experience."

"How did you two meet anyway? Not to be rude, but your friendship is an odd one to the point no one expects it." Ochako can't help but ask as Yagi laughs.

"It was by pure accident, let me tell you. At first, we merely meet as a detective and a secretary who handles All Might's personal life. But, it came to bite me in the ass as my inability to ignore cries for help led me to excuse myself from the conversation and went on heroin. I did it so many times that out of panic, I forgot to return the cat I saved to their owner, which ended up with the cat out of the bag." Yagi can't help but laugh at the pun while the others merely groan in disbelief.

"Anyways, my identity was exposed to a random stranger I never met in my life, and I beg him to keep it a secret," Yagi says with a nervous chuckle. "It was revealed that Tsukauchi was there to hope that I could file reports for most of my work, something I've been neglecting because I refuse to ignore people asking for help. So, Tsukauchi offers to help me. He still helps me with it despite that he got a new job and I decided to do it myself."

Yagi is met with silence, which concerns him as he looks at the kids. He was taken aback at their expression. He knows the story wasn't as amazing as they expected, but why did they show utter disappointment!?

"...I was expecting some interesting story like you save a random kid, and then several decades later, you meet him, and he's revealed to be a strange kid," Izuku says in an unimpressed tone.

"Or maybe an unexpected buddy cop story involving a detective and a hero who went on a case involving a raid on a drug dealing storage," Eijirou mutters.

"Or maybe a bromance bloomed from meeting in a bar as you two drunk yourself after an intense breakup and you two bond through such pain." Ochako expresses her opinion.

"But, nothing prepares us for such disappointment." The trio says in unison.

"C-come on! You guys watch too many movies! This ain't a movie or a novel!" Yagi exclaims, unable to believe that the kids have such imaginations.

"Reality...can often be disappointing," Izuku says as he lowers his head in disappointment. The other two join in as the three of them sigh at the same time. Yagi didn't know why, but he felt his pride got repeatedly stabbed by these kids.

"You kids are so cruel..." Yagi mutters as a depressing aura emits from him. The four of them were silent before they all burst into laughter, which lasted for minutes, earning strange looks from the bystanders.

"So, why are you here, Yagi-san? I doubt that you're here just to see us off with all the luggage." Eijirou points out.

"I'm planning to stay in Musutafu for a long time," Yagi says with a grin before he lowers his head and whispers. "This was supposed to be a secret, but I'm going to teach at UA."

"...you got your teaching license legally, right? Through the exams and all?" Izuku asks hesitantly, earning a baffled look from Yagi.

"Of course I did! I pass with flying colors through intense studying! Who do you think I am!?" Yagi exclaims in disbelief as he sees the kids let out a sigh of relief.

"Sorry, it's just..." Eijirou looks a bit hesitant.

"We meet people...who we heavily questioned if they even got their teaching license..." The three of them remember their torturers, I mean, trainers, before shivering in fear, their faces pale. This causes Yagi to sweatdrops.

'Gang Orca...what did you guys teach them? They fear their trainer as I fear my mentor!' Yagi shivers a bit as he remembers his old mentor. The kids notice this.

"You too?" They ask, and Yagi nods. It was at this moment when they all felt a strange comradeship through shared pain.
