INTRODUCTION

'The Last Son will return to Krypton and redeem it. The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son.'

What if the Last Son had been 'prophesied' to return to Krypton? Return from where? Why had he left in the first place? Why would a planet need redemption? How can a destroyed planet be redeemed? The prophesies weren't clear. Kal-el wasn't even sure if these were 'prophesies' at all or that he was even the fabled Last Son...

I changed the title of the story from "Redemption: The Last Son of Krypton," because initially this was part 2 in a trilogy called "Redemption." But I've decided to just write the whole story as one.

The story is long and complicated. I promise the angst and the sex are coming...

Fun fact: "The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son" was a prophesy in the original Superman the Movie/Superman II storyline. Watch the you tube video at /ScBThdWuWK4?t=116 Jor-el was wrong about how it was fulfilled. The real story is told herein...

This is first and foremost a Superman story. Even though Jason and Kara are important to the storyline, there will be almost no Superboy/Supergirl stuff. Nor is there a lot of fluff about Clark's relationships with them. There is a little fluff here and there, but I write most of their interactions purposefully as opportunities inform the readers about important plot elements and to move the story along.
