No matter how hard he tries, Spock always seems to fall short of full Vulcan control. Trigger warning, because you can justify almost any behaviour with logic if you try hard enough. But Spock & McCoy and eventual Kirk/Spock, so yay!

Even though I ship it as well, I can't help but think it's all about Spock/McCoy. I love this ship. This ficlet was inspired by that photoset.
