I can't remember my past... plain and simple. Not sure if I was born a with a family... or a hlessi. One thing was certain. I was taken... a wide patrol found me alone in a ditch, not to far from their warren. Only the words I understood from them was... "Move!" "No Talking!"

When I first arrived there, I was petrified of what I saw. Does were being watched by Owsla bucks, under supervision. Whenever, they had to silflay, hraka, or even simply permitted to have a few light of sun, before being dumped back into the darkness of their warren. The only thing I remember was that I was captured at nifrith. Apparently, it was too dark to see, in my first night there was like. They had me appeared in front of a council. All I could remember is that most of them would prefer to have me be killed, with an exception of one of the rabbits of the group. Which came to The General's decision was to keep me alive and to be marked.

After receiving my mark, I was than being escorted to my imprisoned burrow. After I was set in, the entrance was than closed off by a boulder. Only light was omitting was from the cracks of the entrance that left a bit of light. Shivering and trembling from the being marked from The Marker. I was terrified to find myself where I was. For the first few minutes, I figured that I was alone. I've been living for one whole season and alone.

Until one evening, a scent went off on my nose in my burrow. I sniffed the air to notice that I wasn't alone. I remain from the bitter light that faintly lights the dark burrow. As the noise went off, I turned to see a dark shadowy figure. From the size of the figure, I began to think if it was going to eat me alive, due to my size and how young I was. The shadowy figure began to slowly approach towards the light. The nervous level skyrocketed, as I was too tharn to move away.

However, once the figure got closer, I was able to see a tall rabbit coming towards the light. The rabbit has dark brown fur, but have white underbelly fur. Brown eyes, with some white fur colored patches around his eyes. However, he had scars throughout most parts of his body.

"Don't be afraid." he greeted. "I'm Captain Holly of Watership Down. I come from a warren not too far from here."

That's strange Holly... another rabbit appeared. Black tipped, but different fur color, unlike to the first rabbit. "... I don't remember recalling seeing kittens held in this warren."

I gulped and continued to shiver.

At least we're not in the warren of The Black Rabbit of Inle'... I turned to my left to see a light grey and blue eyed rabbit. "... a stone warren of dead rabbits, filled with disease and death..."

My breathing heaved over hearing about The Black Rabbit of Inle', in which I do remember hearing the story once and haunted me.

"Now look what you have done, Bluebell." the second rabbit scorned the third rabbit.

The first rabbit looked back at me, to see I was more frightened. "It's alright, roo vahra. Don't let his comment scare you." I than turned to my left hind leg. The blood continued to bleed, as I still felt pain. "I see you received your marking too."

I nodded. "It hurts." I replied.

He than hopped over towards me that I started to crawl backwards, until the pain preventing me from moving. The dark brown rabbit slowly approached towards me and sat down. The rabbit attended to my wound, as he set his paw on my right paw. While he attempts to clean my wound, I felt a sting from the freshly mark. After about a minute, the bleeding stopped. He than reached towards my back and placed it there, as I was starting to breath slowly at a time.

"It's okay..." he warmly spoke to me. "... you'll be okay." It was the first time, I ever got full acquaintance with a rabbit that is not from Efrafa. "What is your name?"

I looked down and shook my head. "I don't know."

"What do you mean, you don't know?" he asked.

"I don't remember my name. I don't remember my former life." I answered.

"Than you must be a hlessi." Blackberry realized.

I nodded. "I don't even remember if I still have a family. I've been here for... can't remember how long I've been."

"What about the does here?" Captain Holly asked.

"I only come across rarely with Hyzenthlay. I've been from right to left hind marks. I just been remarked."

"Are you alone? You don't have a family?" Bluebell asked.

"It's just me."

A boulder began to open up. We turned to see an Efrafan guard outside of our burrow.

"Hlessi, you've been requested for your presence." he spoke.

Oh no... just only my fears would shake me. Captain Orchis requested my presence to meet with him. I've been given those summons more regularly nowadays. Just before I left, I turned back around to the captain. "Thank you for tending my wound, sir."

"We'll see each other soon." he assured me.

"This evening?" I asked. He nodded his head firmly. Now I realized I just met a new friend.
