Chapter 3

Disclaimer: I've had this sitting on my hard drive for probably a year now and I'm still not liking it. So I thought I'd just go ahead and finally post it.

Two Days Later

Harry, or Al-Nahab as he was known now in the League, found himself being informed that Ra's wanted to see him immediately. He was surprised as he hadn't been expecting it but quickly he made his way to the central training room where Ra's tended to oversee the training of those in the League. Getting to one knee and bowing his head once in front of Ra's, Al-Nahab spoke. "You called for me, Master Ra's?"

Not taking his eyes away from those training, Ra's nodded and spoke. "I did indeed, call for you, boy."

Not wearing anything to conceal his face, Harry managed to keep himself from grimacing over the 'boy' moniker he despised so much. "The time has come for your first assignment." Declared the man and Nahab couldn't help but look up at him in surprised shock before wincing at what he'd done and quickly looked back down.

"A Warlord of considerable magical capability in a village in the country of Rhapastan has come to our attention due to the cruelty he tends to display. You will go there and wipe out his evil from the Earth and if there are others who follow his path, you are to take them from this Life as well. Understood?"

Looking up, Nahab saw Ra's' eyes boring down at him and he couldn't help but gulp. Knowing it would show weakness but alas unable to help himself, especially as he damn well knew he was going to be having to do this on his own. "I understood, Master Ra's. I will begin preperations to begin my journey there now."

"Dismissed." Ra's replied and Nahab quickly left to begin what preperations he needed to do.

Several Days Later

After making his leave for the country of Rhapastan, Nahab him himself under a cloak and magic to ensure no one would see or even potentially recognize him. He kept doing so once he got to the small village the Warlord rules over and instantly felt unsettled once he got in the village. As the place felt devoid of joy and at first, Nahab thought it was because of the Warlord's cruelty but would soon discover that wasn't quite the case as he looked into the Warlord and those living in the village. Discovering that every man and woman there was as despicable as could be with the Warlord being the absolute worst. And frankly, the entire thing made Nahab's blood boil in a way that hadn't since it'd been discovered Umbridge had used magic and potions on him in order to make him believe he'd been cast out of British Wizarding Society after supposedly losing that damn court case. But when a Death Eater arrived in the village with the sole purpose of talking the Warlord into joining Riddle, Nahab knew what he had to do.

Even if it did sicken him as he'd be taking life, regardless of the fact that the life he'd be taking was the kind that fit the League's Mandate of ridding the world of Evil. Riddle could not be allowed to have the Warlord and his people join his ranks and so with a sick feeling in his gut, Nahab began his mission by first going for the Warlord. Who didn't even have any protections in his home as he never felt he needed any since no one would dare attack him due to his considerable amount of power. And any Muggles who came across the village in a stroke of bad luck, were subjected to some fairly horrible things. Once the sleeping Warlord's life was taken, Nahab quickly took the life of anyone else in the large home, which included a few mercy kills, before setting it ablaze. Capturing the attention of the rest of the villagers in the process and with a number of them in one place, it allowed for Nahab to more effectively take their lives and as well as setting everything he saw on fire. Now there would be some who'd try and fight him in an attempt to kill him but they wouldn't succeed.

The entire situation being one that would haunt his nightmares for years to come and once all was said and done with the entire village burning, Nahab would throw up and cry for what he'd done on this night. Knowing that with what he'd done now, he could never turn back and that his innocence, what had been left by this point, was truly gone. But he could have a small measure of peace for himself over the fact that the few children who'd been in the village had scattered to the winds during his attack and he could only hope they would do far better in regards to the decisions they made in the future. And as he made his leave, the Death Eater he'd seen early on would arrive minutes later and be absolutely furious over what had happened. But his fury would pale in comparison to his Lord's once he was informed of what had happened here.

Back In Nanda Parbat Sometime Later

"And so you've returned, successful or otherwise you would not be here." Ra's said to Nahab emotionlessly as Al-Nahab knelt in front of the man with Nyssa and Al-Owal near by, watching everything.

Their curiousity hidden from the public view so to speak. "I am, every man and woman in that village are now gone as they were about as terrible as the Warlord himself. The fact one of Riddle's Death Eaters had been there to recruit them also saw the need to ensure they were no longer amongst the living." Informed Nahab softly.

"And it being a village, what of the children that were no doubt there?"

"There were a few but they fled into the night once I began my attack and I can only hope they will do better than their parents in the future." Answered the young Wizard honestly despite the fact it could get him into a whole Hell of a lot of trouble.

Ra's narrowed his eyes as Owal grimaced on the inside as he knew this could potentially end badly for his Nephew while Nyssa was preparing herself for the potential loss of her friend. Ra's was silent for a time before finally speaking. "Though the children are still alive and to the winds, you did your duty in replacing Evil with Death and because of that, I no longer will refer to you as 'Boy', Al-Nahab, as you have proven yourself. I shall grant you a week to re-focus yourself as I know this left a burden on you that needs dealt with. As otherwise, you would be useless to me. Once this week has passed, I will have a new mission for you, Al-Nahab."

"Y-Yes, Master Ra's, I thank you." The young Wizard replied softly and would've rejoiced over the fact he wasn't going to be called 'Boy' anymore by the older man if he wasn't so sickened with himself.

Ra's nodded and taking that as a dismissal, Nahab made his leave for his room. "One can only hope his choice to allow the children to scatter to the winds to not come back to haunt him one day." Al-Owal said to his Master.

"Indeed." Replied the older man as Nyssa wanted to go to her friend but remained where she was.

Author's Notes: One can only hope that decision won't haunt Harry in the future! And as this is a crossover with DC, particularly the Arrowverse, Rhapastan is a fictional DC Middle Eastern Country.
