Part 8: Beginning of no fear
He felt like he was floating. He felt pain at first, it growing faster and faster...but then, slowly, it faded. It was slow, but soon the pain was gone.
Since then he had been here, floating endlessly with no idea how much time had passed.
...He felt something at last. Something soft, and warm. He could hear a steady rhythm of a beep.
Talon could cry in joy and relief...THEY DID IT.
November 22, 2014...
Freefall: *looking at screen*-Vitals are still normal, no signs of bleeding internally or externally. All is looking good so-
A small groan got his attention as he turned fast.

Talon slowly opened his eyes, blinking hard a few times as his vision cleared; soon seeing Freefall over him. The Seahawk Rusher had tears in his eyes, as well as a relieved smile.
Talon: *groggy;tired* F-Freefall.
Freefall dropped everything as he hugged Talon gently, not wanting to open the wounds.
Freefall: *tears;relieved* -shaky breath- Don't ever hide something serious like this from us ever again Talon.
Talon closed his eyes as he leaned his head into Freefall's shoulder a bit, allowing his own tears to fall.
Talon: *groggy;tired* I'm so sorry for not telling you all.

Both were like this for a while before Freefall broke the hug, wiping his tears with a raspy sigh.
Freefall: *relieved* We have alot to talk about, but right now your recovery is all on our minds.
Talon: *groggy;tired* G-Got it..*tried to move; looks around with eyes* A-Am I in my room?
Freefall: *calms himself* Yeah. Moved you here a few days ago once the bleeding fully stopped.
Talon: *groggy;tired;nervous* Oh yeah...I did THAT. Was I out for a few days?
Freefall: A whole week actually. You were in the late stages of the infection so you were out after what happened.
Talon sighed at this, Freefall had said stages. He wasn't going to avoid the topic now, he shouldn't had held on to it for this long in the first place.
Freefall: Thank goodness Matt and Arthur came..um..I wouldn't say right or wrong time given what you did-
Talon: *groggy;tired;pales;remembers* O-OH SHARDS I FORGOT THEY SAW ME DO THAT...-gulps- H-How are they doing?
Freefall gave a soft smile, checking over the heart monitor.
Freefall: Their doing okay. They actually were a huge help in this, they found your journal at the stadium and told us what they found out. They and the others have been thinking of you all week, but they will be really happy to hear you woken up.
Talon: *groggy;tired;worried* T-That's good to hear...what about the kids?
Freefall: They are aware of the situation, but we did not go into deep details. In Fact, Troy was a huge in this situation help as well. Troy found one of your aura/blood clots on the ground, even one of my notes at the library; so he and Stampede went to Georgetown University and discovered what was going on with you.
Talon sighed in relief, knowing everyone his team and the Guardians, were not only okay but had help in a huge way. Freefall nodded as he picked up a screen, looking it over-

Talon: *groggy;tired* O-KAY, that's new.
Freefall: One of the updates I asked for, needless to say it was put to great use already when we saw your stats.
Talon: *groggy;tired* Talk about a test run.
Freefall gave a small chuckle as he check them over...
Talon: *groggy;tired* H-hey Freefall?
Freefall: Yeah?
Talon: *groggy;tired*...WHY CAN'T I MOVE?
Freefall blinked fast at that turning to Talon. He went to the lamp next to his bed, turning it on.
Freefall: Well, needless to say saving you required..practice persistion.
Talon: *groggy;tired* How so? Wasn't it just medicine?
Freefall: *nervous* Hehe, uh no. It wasn't medicine, it was..more hands on.
Freefall gently removed the covers...
...Talon was FULLY AWAKE when he saw, beside his head, his whole body covered in cast as Freefall was checking the wrappings for blood leakage.
Freefall: You were full of those aura/blood clots in your blood stream and your heart. Only way to save you was to remove every last one.
Talon: *shock* I LOOK LIKE A FLIPPIN MUMMY! Freefall did you-you and Swoop, you-
Freefall: Yeah we did. We lost count of the clots and hours, you were full of them.
Talon: *shock;guilt* F-Freefall oh man I-I am so sorry, I-I should of told you all about this in the first place if I did then maybe-
Freefall: *shakes his head* No Talon, even if you told us sooner this would still be the end result. Confirmed this with most of the medical experts.
Talon: *guilt* B-But still...
Talon was shaken hearing how bad it was, guilt overwhelming him...Freefall stopped and went over, brushing Talon's hair with his hand.
Freefall: Talon. You were terrified on what you went through, anyone would react the same way too. While we would of liked to have know years ago, we can understand your fear. What is important is your alive, your healing, and your still here.
Talon sighed, giving a small nod..Freefall eyes widen, nodding with a smile as he went to the door opening it.
Freefall: FREEDOM! Can you come in here!?
Freedom's voice: SURE THING!
Talon's eyes filled with tears hearing his friend's voice, the tears castcating down his face as the Patriot Rusher appeared.
Freedom: You need help with *Freefall turns him...shock*...something.
Talon: *tears* F-Freedom?
Freedom immediately ran over hugging Talon, quietly sobbing in relief. Talon leaned his head in (the only part he knew now that he could move) as he sobbed.
Freefall: *small smile* I'll leave you two alone of a few minutes.
Bit later, Ish's house...
Ish: I think these algebra problems get worse with each grade.
Tua: *Sarcastic* FANTASTIC.
The Guardians were studying for a algebra exam when Troy's NFLR beeped. They dropped everything as Troy answered.
Troy: RZ? Any updates?
RZ: *Small smile;nods* Talon has finally woken up, I just told the Falcons the good news as well.
They sighed in relief hearing Talon was finally awake.
Ash: Thank goodness, how is he doing?
RZ: He feels bad for not telling any of us on what happened to him in the past, but grateful with everyone help in saving him. He was also shock as to, how he was saved.
Marty: You mean he saw himself mummified?
That got everyone, even RZ, a small chuckle.
RZ: Yes, he saw himself 'mummified'. Freefall was doing a check up on him when he woke up. Soon as he was done he called Freedom in.
Ash smile grew at hearing Freedom was with Talon.
Ish: Mind telling the others we'll be over soon.
RZ: Of course, I will alert them right away.
With that RZ went off...and the Guardian slumped in pure relief.
Tua: THANK, GOODNESS. I still have no idea what happened, but I'm just glad it all ended well.
Troy: Yeah, all that's left is the recovery process.
HOK...
Freefall hummed as he finished writing in the book, nodding at the content.
Freefall: Alright almost done, just need to give this thing a name.
Stampede: *walking on* You finishing on that first page?
Freefall looked up nodding with a small smile, Stampede looking over his shoulder.
Freefall: Just need a good name for this and then I'm taking a break for now before putting the rest in...*chuckles* I take it Lib is hovering over Talon?
Stampede: *chuckles* OH YEAH. He's relived and worried over him given the scare...speaking him the two of us might have a good name for this.
Freefall cocked his head in curiosity as Stampede grabbed a pencil, writing it now next to the definition.
GRAVITAL BLOCKAGE
Freefall: *shivers* Oh yeah, it wins. Gravital Blockage it is.
Stampede: Creepy?
Freefall: AND ON POINT YES. Gave me the shivers.
The sounds of beeping was heard as both Rusherz looked at their NFLComms, smiling and seeing the Guardians were here.
Freefall: Well, kids are here. Shall we?

Ash: So you can't move, at all.
Talon shoke his head, the rest of the Guardians and Rusherz around his room. Spot was curled next to him on the bed while Freedom was sitting next to his bed.
Talon: Freefall said it would open the wounds and given what I was told what he and Swoop needed to do...YEAH that would be messy. So it's Just my head doing most of the moving, but even then I gotta be careful.
Swoop: *sheepish smile* It took us hours to clean the room after we got done. Me and Freefall were asleep the entirety of the next day.
Talon sadly looked away hearing that.
Talon: S-Sorry about all this guys.
Ish: Hey, it's not your fault. We're just happy your on the mend and we figured it out fast.
Liberty: Not to mention you were petrified on what happened. Again we will discuss more into this, *to the Guardians* you kids on a much later date, *back to Talon* but we understand you had valid reason.
Talon sighed, slowly nodding as a small smile formed.
Talon: Got it a-and, thanks again for saving me you guys.
Stampede: *gently brushes his head* Happy to see you getting better.

He was alive! HE WAS ALIVE!
He was so happy to be alive thanks to the hard work from his friends. It would be a while, but he was going to put his all in recovering from this near death experience.
He was going to LIVE. FOR ALL OF THEM.
