As Trunks made his way toward his new room he realized he didn't ask to get although by this point due to his accelerated healing he was close anyway despite the few fights he had been in.

Perhaps I should flunk these tests so they have to say no? Trunks thought "On the other hand I need some source of income and Zeni isn't something they use here plus having company may not be so bad." The Saiyan mumbled to himself he then reached his room and looked around there was a king-sized bed a few cupboards some storage and a bookshelf a TV and some power outlets and the toilet but most of all "A shower!"

After Trunks enjoyed his first real warm shower in years rather than going in cold or a random river he put on his normal clothes he then realized they stunk and were quite dirty so he decided to use the clothes beam to change them a handy trick he learned from Gohan who learned it from Piccolo the clothes were simply a clone of his usual clothes Capsule Corp jacket and all.

After three hours had almost passed the Saiyan was sick and tired of sitting so he got up and prepared for his trials and oath though from what he was told may would be watching something he wasn't used to anymore he shook himself as he thought about it "Come on Trunks." He mumbled to himself "Doing some tests in front of the spandex battalion" Yet despite reassuring himself he was still apprehensive and the doubts he had when he first went to the other timeline seventeen years ago those fears he would fail in which he worked hard to squash he then frowned "I have nothing to prove to these fools I should just do it and get it over with the quicker I do this the faster I can defeat Goku Black."

The Saiyan walked into the Simulation room despite only three tests being simulations and he looked around frowning he then looked up surprised to see a large surveillance window and about nineteen individuals staring back unimpressed at his appearance he recognized a few but most were unfamiliar.

Barry stuck a thumb up at him reassuringly while everyone else up there was either bored of deadly serious mostly the former.

"Alright Trunks Briefs the tests are about to begin first we will start with Reflexes," Batman said calmly.

"Trunks Briefs seriously?" Oliver said to Hal and Barry Hal agreed "Yeah are his siblings Trousers Boxers and Bra?" Barry chuckled a bit as well "He may not look like much but you would be a fool to underestimate him." The others present hardly paid attention and instead chatted with the exception being the senior members.

Then 10 metal discs flew at Trunks from all directions which he dodged with no effort, then Batman continued "Your goal is to catch the safe ones and dodge the others and the projectiles will get more dangerous as you progress also you're blindfolded." Trunks frowned as a blindfold covered his eyes before getting into a stance.

As he did 6 metal discs appeared and he caught them all "Alright start now!" Batman yelled and Trunks prepared as he kept catching and dodging and the discs went from 19 to 20 they changed to arrows which he only knew due to the noise they made midair but they soon turned to bullets then missiles and he caught and dodged it all before they transitioned into lasers which he also avoided with little difficulty.

The league was somewhat interested but not excited yet plenty have passed that and aren't here today after all.

"Alright next is the speed the goal is a simple grab and save the dummies as fast as possible," Batman said still stoic.

Trunks nodded before watching the dummies float down then he charged moving at high speed and darting fast utilizing instant transmission so he wouldn't destroy the dummies and he completed it very fast "7 seconds impressive." Batman said intriguing everyone else present as they wondered who this guy was.

"Alright Trunks next is endurance I just want to see how long you last against a strong simulated unkillable foe you will feel weary but when you leave you'll be fine." Trunks nodded before a large mechanical enemy appeared and the two started fighting forcing Trunks into SSJ2 surprising a lot of the league members.

The battle lasted just under an hour before Trunks finally dropped and then got up as the simulation ended.

"Alright Trunks now is the moral test let's see what you pick between two paths of action and different scenarios these will be written."

After twenty minutes Trunks handed Batman the paper and Bruce nodded "I'll mark this after the final test."

"Speaking of which it will be a battle the thing will be simple you think of an enemy of your past and they will appear then you battle them and their strength will adjust as yours increases." Trunks nodded and already had an idea of who he wanted a rematch with someone he was humiliated by in another timeline the bio android,

"Perfect Cell." Trunks muttered before closing his eyes then opening them and realizing he was on his Earth instead of the other and though he couldn't see them he knew everyone else was watching.

Trunks then looked forward and locked eyes with the ultimate lifeform.

"So Cell we meet again." Trunks said despite knowing it was fake he also knew he would run out of energy in real time."

The android nodded "Likewise Trunks after I'll previous battle I didn't think you had the guts."

Trunks smiled "I'm far beyond that now Cell."

"Hahaha, really Trunks? let's see what you've got under that ridiculous hair now shall we?" Cell smirked cockily.

"Just like I remember a cocky bastard" Trunks muttered.

Cell smiled "Alright brat let's see if you really can back up such insults or if you just inherited your fathers overconfidence!"

Trunks smiled "Speaking of which watch out you Vegeta is showing."

Cell scowled annoyed "Whatever you say, you lavender-haired looney!"

Trunks smirked "Damn maybe your not the real Cell I don't remember his insults being shit! or maybe you're missing the Frieza DNA in that case this will be a walk in the park so prepare to get squashed like the bug you are!"

Cell punched Trunks as he mocked him sending him back a bit.

"Feisty today are we?" Trunks smiled powering up into Super Saiyan.

The two clashed across the imaginary battlefield and as Batman said Cell was gaining power rapidly to adapt.

Cell spun into a sweep whilst Trunks jumped and hit him with an uppercut Cell threw a gut punch at him midair hitting him back as it didn't connect properly luckily for Trunks they then forced each other into an intense melee each landing facing then Trunks jumped back and launched a Kamehameha which Cell simply hit away as it approached.

"How's the squashing me like a bug part going boy?" Cell mocked.

"If I recall correctly you are younger than me so I think I should be saying that." Trunks replied.

Cell smiled "Yet I surpass you anyway."

"Oh, you'll see." Trunks replied calmly before powering up into SSJ2.

Cell looked slightly annoyed at him before powering up into his Super Perfect form.

"Alright brat let's see if you can even replicate what Gohan did to me!"

Trunks looked slightly surprised. It feels so real it's like he's the real Cell, Trunks though unnerved.

Trunks charged at the genetic monster and they engaged in more fisticuffs wailing on each other relentlessly before they both jumped backward and charged their respective attacks "Kame hame ha!" Cell shouted Trunks looked forward and yelled back "Gal ick Gun!" and now they caught themselves in an intense beam struggle "Is that it Trunks?" Cell taunted "Oh I'm just getting started!" Trunks smirked before powering up more in SSJ2 before he finally felt Cell's power begin to slip and then heard Cell yell

"You damn brat I will have my vengeance for I'm perfecttttt!" As the Galick Gun consumed his Kamehameha and Cell himself as Cell disappeared so did the simulation and Trunks fell to the floor fatigued before returning to base and then getting up from the simulated fight before looking to everyone in the viewing stands seeing their array of expressions.
