(A little bit later)
Ralph, Vanellope, Felix, and Calhoun were on a boat in the ocean, looking for the creature
"Where'd you get this boat anyway?" Ralph asked Calhoun
"Got it in a trade for a crate of E-11 blasters, after a pending background check of course" said Calhoun "it's got what we need to find this creature, whatever it is. And we have more than enough weapons aboard to kill it if it's aggressive"
Felix was looking at a computer monitor scanning the ocean.
"According to this, the creature is, in there"
Felix pointed to the wreck of the imperial star destroyer Dauntless, wrecked during the first battle of the city a few months ago. The imperials had all but abandoned it, and it was left as a monument to the battle, to remember what the citizens had to go through to build the city. On the side of the hull was a gaping hole big enough for the boat to go through. Calhoun shined some lights inside, and the group saw the remains of a hangar bay, with ruined tie fighters and shuttles partly submerged underwater
"Whatever we're looking for is in here, somewhere" said Calhoun
"So where are our weapons?" Vanellope asked
"Under the deck" said Calhoun
"Guys I think I saw something moving" said Ralph
One of the tie fighters collapsed, startling everyone. Calhoun grabbed a gun and pointed it at the water.
"Wait, don't shoot, please don't shoot" someone shouted
Vanellope moved a light around and pointed it at a creature rising up from the water. Just as the others said, it was a blue sea serpent.
"Please don't hurt me" the creature begged
Calhoun lowered her weapon.
"Who are you?" Ralph asked
"My name is Melvin, I'm a sea serpent obviously. Let me guess, you're here because of the damage to the pier. I'm sorry, I was just so hungry, there's nothing to eat here in this water"
"How long have you been here?" Vanellope asked
"A couple days. I hate it here, this waters too cool and this thing is creepy. But I have no choice. My game was delisted and I had nowhere else to go. I almost died getting in here. I need water to survive" said Melvin
"So I'm guessing the my little ponies didn't attract you here?" Felix asked
"I have no idea what that is" said Melvin
"Well that answers that question" said Ralph
"I'm really sorry. I didn't want to hurt anybody raiding that pier. I eat fish, not people" said Melvin
"Melvin we want to help you, and I believe we can. But first you have some apologies to do" said Vanellope
"How're we gonna help him?" Ralph asked
"I have an idea, something I've been planning based on another game I've been to" said Vanellope
Vanellope and Ralph got the imperial officer and some of the ponies together, as well as some of the victims of the pier attack to meet Melvin at the beach. At first there was some hostility from the people who worked on the pier, but Ralph and Calhoun were quick to silence them.
"I told you we had nothing to do with him" said twilight
"That may be, but somebody must pay for the damages" said the imperial officer
"Believe me I didn't want to hurt anyone, and I'm very sorry" said Melvin
"Don't worry about the damages, I'll take care of them personally. And Melvin, I promise by the end of the week, you'll have a new home. Until then, we will have fresh food for you waiting on the beach at this spot. And with help from Felix, we're gonna power up part of the dauntless so you can have some warmer water til your new home is ready" said Vanellope
Melvin was very grateful and thanked Vanellope. For the week, with some cooperation from the imperials and the shops on the pier, Vanellope kept her promise to Melvin, delivering a pile of fresh fish to Melvin twice a day on the beach. With Felix's help, part of the emergency generator aboard the dauntless could be activated to warm the hangar bay for Melvin.
At the end of the week, Melvin was transported away from the city, to someplace Vanellope and Ralph created. At a far end of the city, past the transformer cities, the road led to a portal, on the other side of the portal was a large island surrounded by a huge ocean. Ralph dropped off Melvin into the ocean and told him about his new home.
"Welcome to the new world me and Vanellope created. Welcome to paradise island. There might not be anything here now, but there will be, so eventually you won't be lonely. This world is programmed to be warm all year long, and this ocean is teeming with life, plenty of food for you to eat" said Ralph
"So what do you say? You like it here?" Vanellope asked
"Like it? I love it! Thank you so much. You 2 have been a great help" said Melvin
He turned around and dived into the ocean, disappearing out of sight.
"That went well" said Vanellope
"Yeah. Can't wait for others to build this world like we built the city" said Ralph
"Nothing some advertising can't help with. Til then, let's go to Tappers for some root beer" said Vanellope
