I currently have no ideas for tales taking place before life online, so from time to time I'll be doing ideas taking place after. Enjoy or dont, I don't care, I have my fans and new ones coming from time to time.
(Lucy 2, near Vanellopes castle, summer 2031)
Sophie Shaw, her mother Honey, and baby brother Zack, were making a delivery of treats to queen Lucy's castle. Normally honey didn't take her son on deliveries but she couldn't find a sitter. Luckily it wasn't far from home, and she knew Lucy's castle was well protected.
Sophie pushed zacks stroller as Honey rolled crates of honey buns through the corridors, occasionally passing by droids, some working, some curled up recharging. Sophie hated the sight of them. She hated the fact that Lucy had an army of separatist battle droids, who killed millions in her home galaxy.
"Oh good, the delivery is here, we'll take it from here, see Lucy on the bridge for payment" said a b1 droid
"Take the shipment to the kitchen, and be sure not to drop them" said a tactical droid
A couple of the b1's attempted to move the crates, but one tripped, which made zack laugh.
"Those old central computer models aren't the brightest aboard the ship" said the tactical before walking away
The group went to the bridge where Lucy was with Kevin, discussing things about the city. The 2 invited them to relax a little bit before going on their way. Honey accepted and sat down, preparing a bottle for zack.
"Droids, the drinks" said Lucy
A b1 came in holding a tray of drinks which honey and Sophie helped themselves to. The droid slipped on a wet floor and hurt itself
"Ow, that's not gonna look good in the morning"
"Dumb separatist junk" Sophie muttered to herself
"I heard that" said Lucy
"Ok so they're not the best in the world but they do their job and they're loyal. I mean you have some at your house, Sophie" said Kevin
"Yeah, and I hate them. Lucy out of all things to make an army of, why these dumb tin cans?" Sophie asked
"Sophie it's rude to-, well come to think of it that has been something I've wondered myself" said Honey as she put her son back in his stroller
"The main reason I have them is I needed an army quick and loyal. When I built my empire I didn't exactly have that many willingly loyal subjects or volunteers who wanted to serve me" said Lucy
"How'd you even get this many anyway? You're 9 for mods sake" said Sophie
"I have friends. Some came from unfinished games, others have copied code from currently active ones, some could be from your old game sophie" said Lucy
"Maybe" said Sophie "I still hate them, they're a menace to society"
"Hey, that's just rude" one b1 pointed out
"We have feelings too you know" a commando pointed out
"That's my family you're talking about" said Lucy
"Family? You must be joking" said Sophie
"My sister isn't like that. She loves and cares for all the army. Regular tune ups and upgrades, fresh oil and plenty of recharges" said Kevin
"That's really nice that you do that, Lucy" said Honey
"Thank you miss honey, glad someone here appreciates what I do. Sophie, these may be cold heartless machines to you, but they do have feelings. Surely you've noticed in your old life" said Lucy
It was then that sophie began to think back
(Flashback)
"Fire, keep the Jedi back" a droid in a tank shouted
Sophie and her old master rushed a squad of droids with the help of their clone allies. While the clone troopers took care of the defenses, she and her master rushed the tank, her master cutting open the front and killing the crew inside while she went to the commander in the turret.
"But I just got promoted, aah"
Sophie sliced the droids head off without mercy before jumping off
(End flashback)
"Nope, can't think of a time" said Sophie
"I'm sure that's a lie" said Kevin
Sophie spun Kevin's throne with the force, the droids stopping it from spinning.
"These droids are like family, even if you can't see that, Sophie. When I was a prisoner of the empire, they comforted me when I was alone and afraid. They fed me, kept me warm and safe. They protected this city when palpatine and Rebecca tried to kill us all"
"I remember that" said Honey "What a way to have a wedding"
"I see them the way Miss Honey sees me. To you and a lot of people they may be bad guys, but to me they're my big family. They're really nice when you get to know them" said Lucy
"I have to agree. I will admit at first I or mom and dad weren't keen on having them, but they're a big help" said Kevin
"I'm hoping this has changed your perspective of them" said Lucy
"I do like you kept those words I told you to heart " said Honey
"Ok, they're your family, good for you 2. Maybe one day I'll like them. But right now, they're just a bunch of separatist junk to me" said Sophie before walking out of the bridge
"Forgive Sophie, please" said Honey
"We've both been through a lot" said Lucy
"I give her another year before she trusts our army" said Kevin
