Before I begin, a response to a guest review I had to delete. This is my world that the Ralph characters live in and I can do and write whatever I want about it. If you have a better idea for a chapter, I'm open to suggestions, or go write your own story. Every character I use in this story has already established their place in this world elsewhere, whether it's my stories, a new home or life online. Now that that's settled, enjoy this new chapter.
(Late summer, 2030, castle dining room)
Wreck it Ralph sat in the dining room of his and vanellope's castle in litwak city, enjoying a nice breakfast. The game, after a year of bad problems and issues, was finally at peace it seemed, and his grandchildren, Lucy and Kevin fluggerbutter, Rancis and Vanellopes 8 year old kids, now helped co rule the city with the rest of the family. Things should've been perfect, but it simply wasn't yet for Lucy who sat down to breakfast a little annoyed.
"You ok kid?" Ralph asked Lucy
"No. I don't get it, I've been queen for almost a month now and ran my empire in space for several and people still treat me crummy, a bad guy they call me" said Lucy
"Can you blame people sweetie? I mean you tried to wipe out one of your colonies" said Rancis
"One time, I tried to kill the ponies one time" Lucy shouted
"The tsunami?" Vanellope asked
"That was an accident. Like I can control where a ship will crash?"
"Your droid army?" Kevin asked
"Alright that's enough. I don't want to be seen as a bad guy" said Lucy
"If only it were that simple kid. If it was I'd have met your mom years earlier maybe" said Ralph
"Grandpa, how do you or other villains in this game deal with, well being villains?" Lucy asked
"Several ways, support groups, get togethers, your mom and I's annual bad guy Christmas party. Hey I have a bad anon meeting today, why don't you come with me? Talk your issues out" Ralph suggested
"Does it help?" Lucy asked
"Your anger management helped, didn't it?" Ralph asked
Lucy shrugged
"That's it, you're coming with me" said Ralph
Later that afternoon, just as Ralph promised, he brought Lucy to an office looking building somewhere in the city. Lucy brought one of her battle droids with her as well, who also wanted to attend.
"Grandpa what if the other bad guys-
"Don't worry about what they think of you. That kind of thinking almost cost me my game and your moms. You'll be fine. Now droid, why'd you want to come?" Ralph asked
"I'm here to represent the army. We feel under appreciated. Ever been blasted by a rainbow?"
"No" said Ralph
"It's the weirdest thing you'll ever feel" said the droid
Ralph led the 2 to a meeting room where familiar villains from the arcade talked amongst themselves.
"Ralph, glad you could join us. I see you brought your granddaughter, and a b1 droid. This should be interesting" said Clyde the orange pac man ghost
"Now that everyone scheduled to be here is here, let us begin" said M bison
The meeting went on, with everyone describing how life was going for them in the city. No matter what holidays were made or what villains did, it seemed them and characters from unwanted and unliked games couldn't escape ridicule from others. It seemed they all had to stick together.
Finally it was Ralph's turn to speak.
"Life is going ok for me. I must admit since the war with the galactic empire, I've been trying to stay in shape. I'm 50 years old, not as young and fit as I used to be. I learned that when the empire attacked in February. Been lifting scout walkers, that's a good workout. I've also been trying to spend more time with Vanellope game jumping like the old days. She seems to enjoy it. Also I've been trying to do some volunteer work, wrecking broken buildings to build new homes. Our city is only gonna keep growing" said Ralph
All the bad guys agreed to that. Ralph said a few more things before Lucy was finally allowed to speak.
"I'll be honest, I don't see myself as a bad guy, but apparently a lot of people still do. It hurts to be honest" said Lucy
"Didn't you try to kill a bunch of ponies?" Clyde asked
"One time. That was one time. They made me angry. I was a fair ruler with them, and they betrayed my trust" said Lucy
"Was it worth it in the end?" Clyde asked
"No. That started my war. Then that tsunami happened. Being the most unliked character in the game is not something I'd wish on anyone. I didn't wanna hurt anyone. I did what I did because I had no choice" said Lucy
"Nobody is perfect little blonde girl" Zangief told her
"I know. All I want is to let people know I've changed, but it gets harder everyday. My poor droids see so much abuse. For those who don't know, they were villains in their past lives" said Lucy
Her droid then spoke
"My name is RB-117, or Johnny as I've adopted in another time. I am a former battle droid for the confederacy of independent systems. Today I am commander of a garrison of droids on equestria and the outer reaches. I am here to represent the army as a whole. Never once were we appreciated for our hard work. We're hard working and loyal and just doing our jobs, and everyone just wants to blast us"
"But you can be rebuilt, can you?" Bowser asked
"Yes, but it's not fun dying. I can't regenerate just like that here, I have to be reactivated"
"So, you were part of a confederacy. What was that like?" A ninja asked
"As a separatist, my life wasn't much different to what it is now. I did the same things then I'm doing now. Just a different cause. Spent my days fighting the republic clones for our cause"
"What were you droids fighting for?" Clyde asked
"According to my programming, freedom from the tyranny of the republic. The republic became the galactic empire. I and the other droids will protect our masters from tyranny. It's in our programming. My master may not look like it, but she's the sweetest little girl I've ever known"
"Well Johnny, Lucy, if you've truly changed, then I guess all I can say is keep proving to others you've changed. Do more nice things for others. I've heard you're crazy smart is that right Lucy?" Clyde asked
Lucy nodded
"Well I'm sure you'll think of something to make people think differently of you. Just don't give up is all I'm saying" said Clyde
"I promise I won't" said Lucy
"And I'll be here to help you" said Ralph
"Alright everyone, let's close out with the bad guy affirmation" said Clyde
Everyone stood up and held hands.
"You have cold hands" a witch told the battle droid
"They might not seem like much, but they're my big loving family" said Lucy
"I am bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me"
"Alright, see you all later" Ralph told the other bad guys
Ralph left with his granddaughter and her droid
"That make you feel better?" Ralph asked
"A little" said Lucy
"It may not seem like much but this does help. Just remember the advice given. I got your back" said Ralph "Things get better eventually"
