Little Lucy Fluggerbutter never really liked her life in litwak city. Many years ago, some fortune teller spread a rumor that she would cause some great disaster, which led many citizens to hate her without giving her much of a chance. Said disaster did happen a couple years ago in the form of a tsunami, and it made her life worse. A lot has happened in the decade she's been alive, and not a lot of it good. Today was November 4th, another empire day had come and gone, and she was helping her family rip propaganda posters off of the walls of her home. She stared at each with disgust.

'Loyal? Prove it. Don't be like queen Lucy, be a winner and join the imperial security bureau. Be a part of the galaxy's finest'
Lucy tore off the poster without hesitation.
"Stupid galactic empire" lucy muttered
"Don't forget you allowed them to continue existing" Rancis told her
"Didn't have a lot of options, completely removing them would've caused complications. Political nonsense, maybe a riot, blah blah blah I don't wanna deal with that" said Lucy
"Hang in there Lucy, things will get better" Rancis assured
But things didn't quite get better for Lucy just yet. When Christmas came around, while she got some nice clothes and toys from family and friends, from Santa Claus, she got coal, several boxes of it.
"It's not fair, so I tell the empire to imprison miss honey for something, does that really make me a bad person?" Lucy asked that morning
"Well, at least we still have that Christmas card her family gave us" said Vanellope
"I love it, but still, why do I have to get coal again?" Lucy asked sadly
After the Christmas breakfast and gift openings were over, lucy went to her bedroom with her brother and looked over her computer.
"Anything you want to add to this, Kevin?" Lucy asked
"I wrote everything I wanted to in it, I think it's ready minus the title" said Kevin
Lucy went to another page on the computer and typed some words down
'The rise and fall of the Lucy Empire, by Lucy Schweetz Fluggerbutter and Kevin Ralph Fluggerbutter'
"My own book about my life, never thought I'd see the day" said Lucy
"You have lived a rough life, part of it my fault. But maybe once the citizens read it, they'll see you're not the monster they think you are" said Kevin
"Well I've proofread the thing and I believe it's ready for publishing. Thank mod there's a publisher in this city who doesn't hate me. Once I hit send, the book will start printing" said Lucy
"Do it sis. And don't forget I get a third of those profits you make" said Kevin
"Yeah, I know, you signed a contract" said Lucy
Lucy sent the draft through the email and turned off her computer. She looked at the coal on her desk.
"Hey, ignore the coal. Why don't we go play with the toys we did get" said Kevin
Lucy agreed and left the room with her brother.
Within a month, Lucy's book hit shelves across litwak city. Unfortunately, It didn't get much attention due to her reputation in the game, and few copies were sold. Lucy was upset, and by late February, she was venting to a family friend, Honey Shaw the queen bee.
"I worked hard on that book. But I can't convince anyone to read it. If I don't sell some copies I'm gonna be left with 10,000 unsold copies" lucy vented
"People should read it, it was really good" said Honey
"Well the reason I'm here, is because I was wondering if you could recommend it. Make a video or something talking about it. You're a big celebrity in this game, the people will listen to you" said Lucy
"Gee, I don't know-
"It shouldn't be too hard. I really need this break, miss honey. You can post it on the games private buzztube channel, then people will see it. Please? You do owe me still for throwing me out of your home in the rain"
"I apologized and pay for your therapy. But ok, I guess I can do something for you" said Honey
At her home later that night, Honey sat in her home office, holding the book in her hand, with her bee friends holding her phone and recording her talk.
"A lot of you know and hate princess Lucy, but why? Because of some stupid prophecy? She's not the monster you all think she is. And this book talks about the rough life she's lived trying to prove to every citizen in this city why she's not worthless. Lucy is a sweet girl, yet misunderstood. In this book she talks about her early life, mentions her powers, her struggles fitting in, and the war with the empire, among other things. I'll be honest I cried reading this, and after reading this, I must say some of you watching this should be ashamed of yourselves for what you did to her, I'm talking to you whoever gave her frozen energon as a drink. I give this book a seal of approval and highly recommend it if you wanna know the real princess Lucy." Said Honey
Honey posted the video on Lucy's instructions, and hoped for the best. As Lucy predicted, honeys video was seen by many people, and the books started being sold. Within a week, the book was sold out all over the game, with the publisher scrambling to make more. Now it was time for Kevin to deliver the good news to Lucy
Kevin stood outside Lucy's bedroom door before dinner one night, and knocked on the door
"Lucy, I got some news for you"
Kevin knocked again, but got no answer. He slowly opened the door, and saw his sister dancing and jumping on her bed. Lucy had a pair of black and white headphones over her head, while Lucy sang into her phone some pop song she was listening to. Kevin knew Lucy's music was loud enough she couldn't hear him. Kevin just laughed and watched his sister sing, she had a beautiful singing voice. When she jumped and faced the door and saw him standing there, she slipped and fell into a pile of her pony plushies.
"Ever hear of knocking?" Lucy asked
Kevin held up Lucy's headphones
"You can't hear anything when you blast these things loud enough" said Kevin
Lucy blushed with embarrassment
"Well, what do you want? Is dinner ready? I'm getting hungry" said Lucy
"Dad says soon, but that's not why I'm here. I got this letter from the book publisher" said Kevin
"Oh no, the book failed. And here I thought-
"The book sold out, sis" said Kevin
"What?" Lucy asked surprised
"Miss honeys review got the citizens interested. The book flew off the shelves this week. Half of district 1 bought it alone. More copies are being printed. You know what this means? You're gonna make some money not from taxes or our allowances. You have something to be proud of for once. Lucy, you're about to be a bestselling author" said Kevin
Both twins screamed with excitement.
"Why're you screaming?" Lucy asked
"Because I helped co write a bestseller book that's why. And again, my cut" said Kevin
Both twins got texts from their parents on their phones calling them to dinner.
"Let's go tell mom and dad the good news" said Lucy
The 2 ran out of the bedroom, both happy at their success. But little did they know, the success of the book was about to have some unintended consequences, and soon.
