CHAPTER 22: ANOTHER RESCUE

While Mewtwo and the others waited outside, Neva and Morgan were floating in the pool. They had recently sensed a powerful psychic pokémon nearby and assumed the obvious: Mewtwo had come. The water allowed them to hear better and it enhanced their power of sensory. To a human supervisor they would probably look as though they were relaxing, but a pokémon would know different. The two were both very nervous about this. Would Mewtwo be able to get them out? Or would they be stuck here forever?

They did not know. But soon they felt the energy of the pokémon with him run. Then a bunch of humans were following them. Mewtwo and two others broke off. This was interesting. They seemed to have a plan!

Back to Mewtwo. Ninetales, Noctowl, and him were running down a long hallway. Mewtwo could sense the two he was looking for below him. They must be in the bottom basement. Then while wondering about this his thoughts were interrupted.

"Noct-noc towl." Asked the Noctowl aiming the question at him, "Can you sense the other pokémon? The ones from the forest? Try that."

Mewtwo did. Throughout the entire building the pokémon seemed to be only in poke'balls. Then he found a group of caged ones. Those must be it! Best tell Noctowl where to head.

(Go left, and then take a right. Keep going down that hall until you get to the fifth door on the right. They are being caged. Ninetales, go with him. You'll have to melt the locks on the cages.)

"Ninetales!" she said, "You got it!"

As he watched them go he smiled. Then frowned as he wondered how to get down there. It seemed an awful lot to take all those steps and everything if they were right below him. He knew what to do! Hoping that no one was below him he shot a blast of psychic energy straight down, causing a huge hole to be made till it reached the sisters training area.

Only seconds before this Morgan realized what he was going to do. Quickly she teleported Neva, then herself to the bank of the pool. A split-second later the ceiling above the pool collapsed. Stunned, the sisters could only watch as Mewtwo quickly floated down the shaft he had made. Setting down he looked at them.

He quickly recognized Neva, whom he had 'fought'. The one beside her must be Morgan. As beautiful as Neva was she could not compare to her sister. Morgan's blue eyes bored into his. They started at each other for the longest time. Soon, Neva got fed up.

She did not like the way Mewtwo was looking at her sister. This was NOT what he was there for. Annoyed by this she interrupted this staring contest.

(Excuse me. Let's not waste time guys. Mewtwo I believe you are here to get us out. Starring at my sister like that is NOT WHAT YOU'RE HERE FOR! Let's go before we get caught! Oh yes I almost forgot. Morgan, Mewtwo. Mewtwo, Morgan. You've met now let's go!) She said irritated.

Neva flew up the shaft followed by Morgan. Mewtwo shook himself in annoyance that such primal feelings had took him, even for a second. But he smiled then. It would be nice to get to know these two.

Following quickly, he sensed that all the pokémon were safe in the forest. They were the last ones. Flying fast, they shot out the entrance of the base. Unfortunately, the courtyard was as far as they got. The humans were waiting for them.
