"I'm at the airport."

The blonde in her business attire stood waiting inside the gate, calling her assistant to pick her up at the airport.

"What do you mean?!" A yell bounced back against her ear.

"It's mean, I'm back earlier than expected." Emma rolled her eyes.

She came back early because there was nothing else for her to do after she had presented all her products out there for the overseas investor.

As the company's president and founder, she could fly back wherever she wanted, didn't have to inform anyone beforehand, let alone her assistance.

"Alright! We'll be there in a minute!."

Another one of her assistants was Graham, he was to assist Snow. They worked on the fabric design of the Swan Company, which she builded with hard work.

The blonde put her iPhone back in her pocket and rolled the suitcase with her to the exit gate.

Regina tightened the strap of her purse against her shoulder as she walked into the Swan Company. She didn't hesitate to send in her resume as soon as she was back in town and heard the name of the company.

The corner of her lips pursed up in amusement as she saw everyone on the floor was in a hurry. Some were moving things in the right order around their desk and some were running with files in their arms.

She looked back to the woman who rushed past her with a mop in hand and almost chuckled at the sight.

"Regina!" A voice rang behind her.

Regina turned around at the sound of Snow, seeing the pixie haircut woman walking to a stop in front of her, out of breath, and looking hurry.

She gave her a small smile, while everyone around her was in a disoriented state and a shout could be heard all around.

"Hi, Snow."

She reached out her hand in a handshake and was startled back in surprise as Snow hugged her instead and then let go.

"I'm sooo glad, you're here early today! I need to you come pick Emma up with me at the airport." Snow said and looked at her expectedly, likely not expecting a no.

She was blown away by the change of plan. Her heart pounded slightly at the prospect of seeing Emma today, she hadn't prepared herself to meet the blonde just yet.

"But you asked me here to learn about the company with Graham, and I would start the job tomorrow? Did I understand that correctly?" Regina said with a slight frown.

She was not sure what happened here, but it might have had anything to do with the CEO of this company for certain, to make everyone in here freaking out. She hadn't noticed another person was coming up to stand right next to her and heard.

"Don't worry about that, Regina. I can tell you everything you want to know about the company on the way to pick up our boss, alright?"

"Yes! Emma just changed the schedule and came back early one day. If I want you to start your job today, would that be alright?" Snow looked up from her eyelashes as she asked her.

"Fine by me."

Regina nodded and smiled back at her.

"Good, good!, Come on, Regina, don't waste any more time! I don't want Emma to bite my head off if we're late."

Regina just raised her eyebrow at what she heard about the boss. Her amusement was still there when she saw Snow and Graham rush off of the building, making her have to quicken her steps to join them.

Emma tapped her foot patiently on the floor as she kept looking back at the screen in her hand.

They were late and she was getting impatient.

She walked and rolled the suitcase behind her to meet them halfway if they were already there. At the far sight, Emma could see a tiny figure of the pixie haircut woman and a man was running beside her.

They were out of breath as they reached her.

"Here, let me take care of that." Graham took the suitcase from her hand.

"Are you tired? or hungry? How was the flight?" Snow's little voice flew questions toward her making her lose her patient more and more until she snapped.

"Do you know that sometimes your voice carries? And don't ask me too many questions all at once! I'm too lazy to talk to you right now."

Emma looked through hersunglasses and Snow simply grinned back at her.

"Damn it, Snow! She's getting restless now and might bite our head off, thanks to you." Graham started to sweat as he stepped closer and whispered to Snow. Snow could only glare back, laugh it off and turn to face the blonde again.

"We're not the only one here to pick you up, Emma," Snow said excitedly.

Emma just stood there waiting for the news that was supposed to make her feel giddy or something.

"We came with our new employee."

"Snow's right," Graham added with a smile.

"Who?" Her voice was stern, not interested one bit. She was confused seeing no one else but them.

"Your new secretary and personal assistant, Regina."

Emma's eyes snapped at Snow in alarm upon hearing that name. Thanks to her sunglasses Snow wouldn't be able to see her suddenly wide eyes.

There had to be many people out there that had the same name, she just worried too much.

"Regina! We're here!" Snow shouted to the crowd of people in front of her.

Not a second later, strangely enough in an area full of people making noises, she could hear a stomp of high heels tap against the tile in each step the owner making her way toward her.

Her eyes shifted from those heels to legs, to a black pencil skirt that hugged the hips too perfectly, to a white shirt that tucked into the skirt neatly, to red lips that had a little scar on the upper lip, which again, strangely enough, she could see from here and remembered it so well.

She took off her sunglasses and that's when their eyes met.

She glared into those deep brown eyes, that once were making her heart beat with adoration. But now seeing the sight of the brunette again only made her feel something else for her entirely.

A shot of anger burst through her as she breathed through her nose.

The person she came to hate was here, standing in front of her and looking

Undeniably gorgeous.

"Hello." The brunette greeted with her low voice.

The person she loathed reached out her hand to the front for a handshake.

Emma briefly looked down at the tan hand and put her hands in her pocket instead. She stared back and when Regina pulled her hand back, a sudden hurt was shown in brown eyes, and then her eyes blinked it gone.

"Snow," Emma called while making eye contact with Regina the whole time.

"Yes."

"Give your new secretary three months's payroll in advance."

"Woah!" Graham gasped in surprise.

"And fire her. I don't want to see this woman's face ever again."

Emma finished the sentence with her lips in a thin line, seeing nothing shown on Regina's face. She was fuming and walked past them out to the exit.

Snow and Graham both gasped in shock.

"What are you waiting for?! Go after her!" Snow shouted at him making him move his feet.

"Wait for us, Emma!" Graham shouted and ran with Snow following behind him.

Regina stood there in silence, not realizing what was going on around her at this point. She was shocked at how rude and disrespectful the blonde was treating her in front of her new college.

She hadn't thought that Emma would still hold a grudge against her since what happened to them was a long time ago. It's been years since she left the blonde to start her new life as the wife of the president of a national bank.

He was friends with her father and she had to do her duty as a perfect daughter to pay off his debt for him. So when her husband died. She was free to go and now she was back here.

Even years later, seeing the blonde again. She couldn't stop feeling something for her. Her heart still beating red when she was near Emma Swan.

She could take whatever Emma did to her because she thought she deserved it for leaving the blonde in the past.

Emma hated her now and it was the price she was willing to pay.

Regina took in deep breath before turning around to leave the airport. She went to the exit door and waved over a taxi. The car stopped and she was about to take a step when another woman beat her to it first and crashed into her side, not paying attention to her at all.

She stumbled backward and lost her balance, fell on the floor. She let out a hiss as her ass hit the floor while trying to gather herself up with her hands.

She hated this day, but not entirely, to be honest with herself.

At the corner of her eyes, Emmasaw the moment Regina fell to the floor and her gaze shifted in the brunette's direction once.

If it was before she would run as if her life depended on it to Regina's side immediately and lifted her. But now she wanted to do neither of them.

She looked back ahead of her and paid no attention to Regina. Every time she saw the brunette, the questions were still there in her mind.

Why did Regina leave her? She couldn't understand.

And it turned her into a grumpy person as Regina still had an affect on her.

As the car stopped, Emma stepped out of it and rushed into her huge mansion immediately, not waiting for either Snow or Graham. She took off her blazer and threw it on the sofa, while rollingup her sleeves.

"Emma, you should give Regina a try first!" Snow insisted.

She sighed and turned to face Snow with a glare of her own. She didn't want to talk about Regina anymore and walked off again. They all followed behind her as she heard their footstep.

"She can speak Spanish, Emma. And she's well trained in business. Also, her life is pity enough as it is."

Emma grabbed a snack off the counter and opened it, not mind what Snow was saying.

"She was a secretary to her late husband. But her husband died last year so she had to move away from overseas to make money for herself and… her son."

Her fingers with a snack in them, stopped in front of her face as she was surprised to hear that Regina had a son. It hurt deeply to know Regina has moved on completely. She sucked in a breath and popped a chocolate in her mouth.

"It's such a pity for a single mom."

"I didn't ask you to tell me a fucking story!" Emma snapped her head back at Snow and yelled with frustration. Throwing a bag of chocolate on the sofa with anger.

She didn't care if Regina was poor or couldn't afford for her child. She was nothing to her and she wouldn't pay attention to the brunette, not in the past, and definitely not starting now.

Snow opened her mouth wide at being yelled at.

"Emma, I connected the file of Regina's interview to your big screen. If you want to just press the button, okay?" Graham said behind her.

She turned to face him.

"I don't wanna know anything about that woman. Not a single thing." Emma said with a harsh voice, her face stilled.

Graham was gaping out in shock, at how easy the blonde was riling up over Regina.

"I'll, uh, put the remote on here." Graham gently put the remote on the table in front of the large screen against the living room's wall, afraid of the blonde's unpredictable mood.

"I will not go in today. You two take it from here. Is that clear?"

Emma turned back and forth to look at Snow and Graham in the face. Making sure that her order was clear, then she left the room.
