Carly enters Jason and Elizabeth's PH. "Elizabeth, I heard about what Sam did to you. I think you were too generous."

"Carly, a child's life was at stake. I would have agreed if it was Morgan or Michael."

"Yeah, I get it. I just wish there was a way to get rid of that bitch for good."

"For once, you and I are on the same page."

January 20, 2005

Jason returns from the warehouse to find Elizabeth on the couch on her laptop. Cameron is sleeping in his crib. He leans over for a kiss. "What are you reading?"

"I'm reading the papers Robin Scorpio wrote. It's fascinating. Her focus is on patients with TBI and developing protocols that can help reduce seizure activity."

"I'm glad you and Robin are getting along."

2005 Non-Liason

Summary of January-June that may be used for reference in the future.

Jax and Courtney marry.

Carly and Lorenzo marry.

Steven leaves PC after finding out his mother, Heather Webber, has been terrorizing several residents of the town. He takes her out of state to be committed.

Faith kidnaps Michael and Morgan. Faith was shot during a shootout with Sonny and Jason. She tells them the boys are alive. AJ and Jason work together to rescue the boys.

Alexis is pregnant with Ric's child.

Skye gets into business with Lorenzo.

Sonny buys Greystone Manor out from under Ric and Alexis. Ric and Alexis purchase the Lake House from Jax. Courtney and Jax moved into a PH at the hotel.

March to December summary/revision:

Alexis visits Sam twice weekly, hoping to connect with her long-lost daughter. She is grateful for her saving Kristina's life and begs for forgiveness for putting her up for adoption. She enlists Ric's help to argue for early release for her daughter. Sonny visits Sam monthly to thank her for what she did for his daughter. Sam has plans for those who wronged her.

March

Faith dies from complications of a gunshot wound before saying she was paid to kidnap them by Ric. Sonny wants Jason to take Ric out, but Jason tells Sonny that Faith is untrustworthy. "Sonny, she pushed Elizabeth down the stairs. Ric spurned her for Elizabeth, and when Elizabeth left Ric, she tried to get back with him, but he rejected her. She aligned herself with Lorenzo and later had a falling out with him. She could have acted on her own and worked with Ric or Alcazar. Until Stan can track a money trail, I think we should do nothing."

Exasperated, Sonny says, "Fine, you have one week, then I want answers."

AJ rethinks the liberal custody agreement with Carly.

April

Stan traced money back to the Ruiz mob family. Javier Ruiz was responsible for hiring Faith to kidnap the boys. Sonny again insists Jason take out Javier.

"Sonny, I understand your need for revenge, but we must be smart about this. Hector Ruiz is the head of the family. I won't let this be traced back to us. Elizabeth and Cameron are important to me, and I won't risk your thirst for payback for poor planning."

"Jason, I'll listen to you now, but there will come a time when I ask you to do something, and you will follow my orders."

May

Sam is released early from Ferncliff. Alexis offers her a place to live. As a condition of her release, she is ordered to stay away from Elizabeth and Jason.

Carly and Sam engage in a brawl at Jake's. Carly says, "You made my life a living hell. You faked a pregnancy. You terrorized Elizabeth Morgan and tried to assume her identity."

"Since when do you care what happens to her?"

"Things change."

Jason crashes his bike and suffers a brain injury. Elizabeth rushes to be by his side. He has an aneurysm. Tony Jones clips the aneurysm. He tells Jason and Elizabeth it's a temporary fix. He suggests experimental treatment. Elizabeth calls Robin Scorpio for advice.

Jason kills Javier Ruiz on Sonny's orders.

Emily and Jax discover their spouses are having an affair.

Manny Ruiz arrives in PC with the intent of revenge. Hector wants to leave the business and suggest peace. Manny kills his father and takes over the business. Lorenzo Alcazar aids Manny in his quest.

October

Manny is captivated by Sam McCall and discovers her history with Sonny, Jason, and Elizabeth. She is tempted to help him destroy the people who rejected her. She is also planning to make Alexis pay for giving her up for adoption. She just has to bide her time.

Courtney discovers she is pregnant but doesn't know if Jax or Nikolas is the father. Nikolas decides his future is with Courtney. Courtney tells Nikolas she is in love with him. Courtney gets the paternity test results.

After Courtney tells Jax she's pregnant with his child, she tells Nikolas the results. Jax is convinced that he and Courtney should work on their marriage for the sake of their child. Courtney insists on ending her marriage to Jax because she no longer loves him; she loves Nikolas. Nik is disappointed that he is not the father but is eager to raise the baby with Courtney.

While Jason's headaches worsen, Elizabeth convinces him to try Robin's serum and, if necessary, to have the surgery. Elizabeth calls Robin and asks her to come to PC. Robin says she is in NYC and can take the train. She will be there later that evening.

Alexis goes into labor. Ric and Alexis have a baby girl.

Lorenzo sleeps with Skye. Carly leaves Alcazar, and she moves into a house with Morgan. AJ relaxes his custody agreement.

November 2005

Courtney decides to give her relationship with Jax another try for the baby's sake but changes her mind when Nik tells her he's in love with her.

Robin begins Jason's treatment. Jason is in cardiac arrest. Monica and Robin start Jason's heart. Jason wakes up and wants to resume the treatments, but Robin tells him surgery is necessary. She calls the conceited neurosurgeon she met last year and entices him to come to PC for a challenging case. He tells her only if she agrees to a date after saving her patient's life.

Carly demands a divorce from Lorenzo. Emily and Nik are determined to end their marriage. They sign divorce papers.

December

Luke witnesses a clandestine meeting between Jax and Dr. Meadows. After he watches Jax walk away, Luke talks to Dr. Meadows. Luke blackmails Jax with the information he gained from Dr. Meadows.

Dr. Patrick Drake performs the complex life-saving surgery on Jason.

Manny is arrested trying to sneak into the OR. Later, at the police station, Manny suffered an apparent seizure and collapsed. Alexis is shocked to discover she'd been appointed to represent Manny Ruiz, who is recovering from brain surgery. He claimed to have remorse for his actions. MRI results from before and after surgery indicate Manny had a brain anomaly that contributed to his homicidal behavior.

Robin and Patrick clash as they treat Jason.

Suspicious of Jax's behavior, Nikolas convinces Courtney to take another paternity test. They fear Jax might have altered the first paternity tests. Courtney and Nikolas take the test at Mercy and ask for a rush on the results.

Alexis receives strong opposition when everyone learns she has been ordered to defend Manny. Sam offers to help, knowing Manny is faking.

Courtney becomes suspicious after she sees Jax and Dr. Meadows arguing. She confronts Dr. Meadows outside of GH, but the doctor is hit by a car and dies before Cortney receives an answer.

Elizabeth finishes her training as a scrub nurse.
