I don't own Naruto nor do I own One Piece but I hope you like this chapter. Like the anime, it will only last two chapters. I am also considering making some changes from one of my reviewers.
After making a few stops, the strawhat pirates finally make it to the grand line through a place called Reverse Mountain. Sakura and Naruto acquired new attire. Naruto is dressed in black pants and an orange shirt with a white vest. Sakura is dressed in blue shorts and a pink tank top. They are wearing their new pirate hats, of course. They tore through a cloud and kept on going. Luffy was riding on the head of the Merry with Naruto, and Sakura was holding onto the end of the rails.
"Wow! This is fun!" Naruto apologized to his girlfriend. Sakura giggled and squeezed her boyfriend's hand. Sanji holds on to a rope ladder with excitement.
"Whoa, this is great!" He exclaimed. Usopp was grasping the main sail. Nami yelled excitedly in front of the front deck. Zoro also gawked in delight, but he soon sensed something was not quite right. He then hears a strange noise as the ship futhered down.
"Did you guys just hear something?" Zoro asked.
"Huh? What's that?" Nami inquired as the strong wind blew past them.
"That groaning sound!" Zoro's voice went louder. "You can't hear it?!"
"It was probably just the wind!" Nami shrugged. "At this speed, everything sounds distorted!" The noise came again as they got closer. A shadow was spotted at the bottom of the ocean. He adjusted his lens to get a closer look.
"What's that?" Sakura noticed it as well and squinted to look more closely.
"Nami, I see a mountain up ahead!"
"Yeah, me too!" Agreed Sanji.
"What? That's impossible!" said Nami.
"But it's right there!" Sanji informed her. "I can see it!"
"Who cares?!" Luffy grinned. "GO!"
"After we pass the Twin Capes up ahead, there should be nothing but the ocean!" Both Luffy and Naruto examined it more closely and saw that something was blocking their path. They all scream.
"WWAAAAAHHHH! IT'S A BLACK WALL!" Luffy screamed.
"No!" Naruto disagreed. "It's a giant building."
"No, it's not!" Sakura corrected.
"Then what the hell is it?" Asked Naruto. Sakura took a closer look and gasped.
"It's a whale!" Usopp confirmed. The whale lets out a growl. Usopp whimpered in fear.
"Wh-what are we going to do?"
"Shouldn't we fight it?" Asked Lufffy.
"idiot!" Nami growled. "HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT A HUNDRED TON WHALE?"
"WE'VE GOT TO DO SOMETHING!" Sakura said.
"Calm down, Sakura," Sanji said.
"If this giant creature looks like a wall to us, we must look like a speck!"
"That's right." Nami said. "It's possible that it hasn't noticed that we're here."
"But we'll run right into it unless we change course!" Zoro pointed out. Naruto sees that Zoro was right; he then looks to his left to avoid a collision.
"PORT! HARD TO PORT!"
"THE WHIPSTAFF IS STILL BROKEN!" Usopp informed.
"Shit!" Naruto cursed. "Somebody do something. He runs to the front deck and helps Sanji and Usopp steer.
"Wait!" Luffy shouted. "I know. This will work; it has too." Naruto looks with worry.
"I've got a bad feeling about this." He remarked, recalling his "idea" from Arlong Park.
His girlfriend expressed concern, "Me too." They watch Luffy leave his seat and make his way to the anchor room. Nami was puzzled.
"Luffy, what are you doing?" Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji tried to use the broken whipstaff to move the ship.
"THIS IS POINTLESS! IT'S NOT WORKING!" Usopp said.
"DAMN IT, DON'T GIVE UP!" Sanji shouted. He grunts while continuing to move the whipstaff. Nami looks up in horror, fearing the worse. Is this it? Are they like other pirates who just die by entering the Grand Line?
"Is this the end?" Naruto and Sakura held on to each other then...
BOOM! The cannon from the front just suddenly fired. She and the others gasp as the cannon hits the giant whale. The ship plowed right into the whale, then the sheep's head broke off completely and was about to come down. Nami and Sakura stared at it as it was landing towards them.
"Sakura... we're screwed, aren't we?"
"Oh yeah!" Sakura cried.
Naruto then sweats palms. as he fell on his bottom.
"I knew he would do something stupid." He said. Both Sakura and Nami lied down. Naruto lied with Sakura and held her hand. Luffy looked at the canon proudly until he heard a loud thump. He saw his sheep head and screamed.
"Hey, that was my special seat!" Following that incident, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji were all trying to recover from that fall. Sakura and Nami observed that it did not flinch. Zoro swallowed as Naruto scratched his bewildered head.
"Damn! Let's get out of here before it's too late!" Naruto and the others wasted no time paddling away from the whale.
"Would someone tell me what the heck's going on?" Asked Usopp.
"It's so big that the cannonball didn't even make it flinch!" Sanji. "Either that, or its reaction time's really slow."
"I don't care! We're still alive!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Naruto's right! Let's leave while we still can!" Sakura said. Suddenly the whale made the noise that they had heard before getting there.
"AGH! MY ears!" Groaned Sanji.
"Just... keep peddling..." Naruto said with gritted teeth. Nami was backing away until she saw her captain.
"Luffy?"
"You think you can break my special seat and get away with me?" Luffy was staring at the whale with a raged look as he stretched his arm and... punched the whale in the eye. His friends all stared with disbelief.
"You moron!" His friends groaned.
"Oh, we are going to die!" Nami whined. The whale's eye stood still till it moved and stared at the ship. The whole group screamed except for Luffy, who let out an huff.
"I'm not through with you. There's a lot more." He felt a punch from Naruto.
"Shut up, you idiot!" He exclaimed. He then, along with the other straw hats, hears the whale's wailing, and then it opens its mouth, revealing that it has giant teeth. Nami cried in horror, with Sakura's face looking horrified. The whale stars to suck the Going Merry inside its mouth.
The Merry floated between two of the whale's giant teeth, and Luffy went flying off the ship. Naruto then sees Luffy tripping off the ship. He runs to help him, but he falls off too.
"Naruto!" Sakura cried.
"Luffy!" Naruto cried. Naruto grabbed Luffy before he could fall into the water. Luffy then stretched his arms and grabbed one of the teeth. Naruto jumps on the other one.
"We are not going to die!" Luffy declared.
"Yeah..." Unfortunately, the whale's throat sucked down the Going Merry and closed it's mouth. Luffy and Naruto landed on the whale's head. They both took a hard breath. Luffy realized with horror.
"Oh, man... everyone's been swallowed whole." He stated.
"What do we do?" Naruto inquired. Luffy didn't answer. Instead, he stands up and pounds the whale's head.
"HEY YOU!" he yelled at the whale. "CAN YOU HEAR ME? SPIT THEM OUT! We Want Our Friends! DAMN YOU!" Suddenly, the whale is descending to the water. Naruto joins him in the pounding.
"Where do you think YOU'RE going? SPIT OUT MY GIRLFRIEND AND THE REST OF THE CREW!" Luffy looked around the whale and spotted something peculiar.
"Hey, Naruto... what's that?" Naruto looked over and glanced at what Luffy pointed at.
"Is that a... door?" Both Naruto and Luffy looked at each other in confusion.
"You know... I read a book about a whale swallowing an old man and his son alive, but I had never seen that before." Naruto said.
"Quick, let's go in." Luffy said. Naruto couldn't agree more and opened the door with Luffy following him.
The crew that got swallowed by the whale was confused by their current surroundings. They expected to be digested or to see what looked like bowels inside the belly. Not looking like the day sky. Nami turns to Sakura with confusion.
"So, what do you think?" Sakura shrugged.
"I don't know, Nami."
"Is this even real?" Sanji asked while Usopp was babbling. "Because I know exactly what I saw and felt. We were swallowed by the whale." They are staring at a small island with a small house, a clothesline, a palm tree, and a lounge chair on it.
"Is this a dream?" Usopp asked.
"Yeah, I'd say it's a fair guess." Zoro added sarcastically.
"Then what's with this island and the house? Nami asked.
"Illusions?" Zoro speculated. Suddenly the started rising and out came a giant squid. Nami gulps.
"That looks like...a Great King squid!" She and Usopp screamed and ran behind Sakura, who was getting ready to attack with Zoro and Sanji. Sakura clenches her fists in preparation to attack. However, before they could, the squid was harpooned. It was shot three times. Sakura looked puzzled. Her eyes narrow as she looks closer to see where it came from—the house they had earlier spotted, with the door open.
"It looks like someone is here." She said.
"Let's just hope it's a person. Nami and Usopp hid behind Sakura crying.
"I've had it... let's go." She begged.
"Giant squids… guys with harpoons…" Usopp cried. "and where are Luffy and Naruto?" Sakura blinked then looked up.
"Now that you mention it... where are those two idiots?"
Luffy and Naruto entered the whale and both look totally lost at what they brought themselves into.
"Naruto, I don't much about whales. But since when do they have doors and lighted hallways.
Footfalls emerged from the dwelling as man was coming out
"A ship?" He asked. Sanji pointed.
"Wh-wh-wh-whole. We should fire our canon there!" Usopp said.
"No." Sanji said.
"For once I agree with Sanji." Sakura stated. They see the hooded figure finally reveal himself. Sanji was shocked.
"It's a person." Sakura noted. It was an elderly man with wild hair. It matched his beard and was grayish white in the back, but the front was covered in purple and yellow flower petals. The elderly man had on a pair of glasses, blue shorts, sandals, and a collared shirt with green and red accents.
"Are you sure?" Usopp questioned.
"That old man just killed a Neptunian Squid like it was nothing," Nami realized.
"The question is: why?" Sakura said, "Did he mean to save us, or was he just fishing?" The whale was silent for a brief moment. While the old man was walking he took his eyes out at the 5 straw hat pirates. He then sits down and reads his newspaper.
"HEY, YOU GONNA SAY ANYTHING?!" Sanji yelled. The old man looks back up at them.
"Hey, if you wanna fight, we'll fight!" There was silence for about 5 seconds before the old man said.
"You try that, and someone's going to die." The old man threatened. Hearing that, made Nami and Usopp hold on to each other.
"Yeah, and who's that?" Asked Sakura who is smirking.
"Me." The old man answered. Hearing that cause Sakura's face to drop.
"EXCUSE ME!?" She inquired and rolls up her wrists like she had sleeves. However, Zoro put his hand on her shoulder.
"Ease up there, Sakura." Zoro said.
"That bastard's been mocking us!" Zoro chuckled then turned to the old man.
"There's a couple of things we need to know... Where are we? And who are you?" Once again, the old man glared for a few seconds.
"Isn't it proper etiquette to introduce yourself before you start asking questions of someone you just met?" Zoro nodded in agreement.
"All right, fair enough my name..."
"My name is Crocus. I'm the Lighthouse Keeper of the Twin Capes. I'm seventy-one years old, and a Gemini."
"I"M GONNA KILL HIM!" Zoro growled. However, he was being held by both Sakura and Sanji, urging him to calm down.
"You like to know where we are..." Crocous said to them. "But your rude behavior leaves me disinclined to accommodate your curiosity, except that you are trespassing on my private resort. Besides, I'd think it's fairly obvious since you were eaten. Now you're at my one-man resort."
"Wait, so you mean we really were eaten?" Usopp asked. "Since when does a whale's stomach have clouds in it?"
"What's gonna happen to us? I don't want to be digested!" He once again did the glare he made against them, annoying the 5 remaining straw hats.
"STOP DOING THAT!" They all yelled.
What's wrong? Never heard of a running gag?" questioned the old man.
"THAT WAS A GAG?"
"The exit is over there." He pointed.
"WE CAN GET OUT!?" They gasped. There was a lot to take in this place.
"Okay, even if I believed a whale's stomach could have a door," said Nami, "There's nothing there but sky."
"Hold on something's not right.." Usopp pointed out. Sakura looks up and notices the same thing. The sky's clouds and seagulls... are flying still. Her grew white in shock.
"Those are painted. It's a mural!" Crocous chuckled.
"Call it a doctor's playful mind."
YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY SENSE YOU CRAZY OLD FOOL!" Usopp yelled.
"Forget him..." Zoro said. He then turns to the girls. "Nami, Sakura, if that is an exit then we need to get to it."
"Agreed." They then feel a shake as the waves started bouncing up and down.
"It's begun..." Crocus whispered.
"Huh?" Nami asked them took a notice at something and pats Sakura's shoulder.
"Sakura, look. That's no Island... it's a ship." Sakura looked to where Nami was pointing and widen her eyes.
"You're right, Nami." She said.
"Yeah of course. It's a sea of gastric acid."
"That means a wooden ship wouldn't fare well if it stayed her too long." Sanji stated. Usopp turns to the old man.
"Hey, what's with this freaky old whale? Answer me old man!"
"He's very angry." He concluded. The straw hats were surprised to hear it. "These aftershocks are a result of him hitting his head against the Red Line." They hear the whale ramming his head against the red line. Sanji and Zoro were shocked to hear it.
"What?"
"That explains the scars." Sakura concluded.
"Yeah and all that strange howling." Nami realized.
"Why's he doing it?" Usopp asked Nami.
"it's because he's suffering." Nami said as she felt the whale continue on ramming the red line,.
"You're right, Nami." Sakura said. She turns around to look at the old man But what is that old man up too.
"More than likely he is trying to kill the whale from the inside." Sakura clenches her fist in a scowl.
"He's despicable." She said.
"I couldn't agree more, Sakura." Usopp said.
"Okay..." Zoro turned. "So we solved the mystery of the whale. Now how about we get out of here before it digests us?"
"We have no right to judge the old man or to save the whale." Sanji resolved. "What we need to do is focus on how the hell do we get out of here." Sanji said as the whale continues on ramming into the red line.

The man wore a green suit with style and a crown on his head. He had orange hair and his cheeks were drawn with swirls that resembled "9s."
The woman's long blue hair was pulled into a high ponytail with a gold band. She dressed in a green coat with a furry white neck and a blue and gray diagonally striped sleeveless shirt underneath and a pair of white shorts. They load up their guns.
"UGH! We're never gonna get anywhere if the waves keep surging like this." Usopp said while the straw hats were looking for a way out of the waves. "How can we move?"
"Our only choice is to paddle." Zoro said. "Take the oar." Sakura nodded.
"Yeah, we have to find Naruto and Luffy right away." She said.
"I know they're outside." Zoro told them. "I caught a glimpse of them flying out of the whale's mouth!" Sakura then sees Crocus leaving his chair and diving right into stomach acid.
"They old guy is swimming down the acid." She pointed. Zoro looked over at where Sakura pointed.
"Is he insane? The acid will eat him alive." The old man swam through the acid, not noticing the skeletons down there, implying that people were down here before.
The Ram keeps on bumping his head into the red line, making Naruto and Luffy slamming into the walls.
"Naruto, I'm gonna Hurl!" Yelled out Luffy.
"Yeah, I'm with you!" Naruto shouted in agreement as the continued onto flying out then Naruto landed first then Luffy landed on top of him in a metal sewer. Both of themfelt dizzy for a brief moment before Naruto shook his head He then sees something strange.
"Hey look, Luffy." Naruto pointed. Luffy looked over and too was puzzled.
"Hey, that's weird. The whale's got a river inside him too."
"No time for that, we gotta find Sakura, Nami and..." Before he could say anything else, they feel the sewer shaking. They then ended up sliding down. They tried running before they fall off... again.
"Things are looking up, my dear. We have been successful so far." Grinned the man with orange hair and 9 swirls. "Now listen up Miss Wednesday. Behind these doors are the beast's stomach. And that troublesome geezer as well. Remember it's all for the whale.
"Indeed, Mr. 9," Ms. Wednesday said. This whale's a precious creature, one that holds the sweet promise of life for our town."
Back at the whale's stomach, Usopp then sees Crocus returns holding onto the ladder of a small door.
"Guys, the old man just resurfaced!" He said.
"Forget about the old guy." Zoro said. "Our focus should be on getting to those doors and getting them opened."
Back at the sewer, Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday devise their plan.
"All right, here's the plan,baby. three... two... One. Then we kick through the doors." Miss Wednesday nodded.
"Roger that, Mr. 9. I'm ready anytime." Their train of thought were interrupted by very loud screams.
"What is that voice, Mr. 9?"
"I don't know, Miss Wednesday." They narrowed their eyes to see Luffy running towards them while grabbing Naruto by the neck.
"AGH! We can't stop!"
"AH!" Both villains screamed in horror as both Naruto and Luffy collided with them and sends them all flying as they bust through the door. Crocus stopped climbing and gasped to see them all at the sight of both Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday.
"They're back?" Usopp screams while the others looked up with confusion except for Sakura and Nami.
"Of course they would come back like that." Sakura muttered while Nami facepalmed.
NOT GOOD! WE'RE GONNA FALL INTO GASTRIC ACID!" Mr. 9 screamed as he, Naruto, Luffy, and Ms. Wednesday went flying.
"Luffy?" Zoro asked.
"Naruto?" Sakura inquired in a dull tone, not surprised by Naruto's unpredictable behavior.
"Oh hey, Sakura. Are you guys all right?" Naruto asked.
"We could use a hand." Luffy said as he, Luffy and Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday fell into the acid. The old man reached the top and left the stomach.
"Looks like those two are not alone. Who do you think those two weirdos are?"
"Where did that old Geezer go?" Nami wondered.
"Forget him. We need to..." But before he could saying anything, he sees Naruto grabbing Luffy who was knocked down with the two others.
In the meantime, the whale was howling and Crocus was moving down the canal. Then it crashed into the Red Line with a bang.
"You've got to stop it, Laboon." Crocus said. He entered a room where a giant syringe pointing at a square hole. "You can't beat yourself up anymore. There's only a tiny amount of sedative left and until I make some more you have two make nice!" He ends his conversation by sticking the needle down the whale's skin. It seemed to calm down and stop ramming the red line.
"That wall divides the world's oceans. I doesn't matter how many times you hit it, it won't break, not even for someone as mighty as you." With that, the whale passed out and it went to sleep.
Nami hears the sound and observes the whale becoming quieter.
"I don't claim to speak whale, but it seems to calm down a bit."
"Good." Sakura said while crossing her arms and glaring at the two uninvited guests. "Now, we may have saved you guys with my boyfriend and our captain but who are you? You'd better talk." She added darkly. Miss Wednesday was a little creeped out by Sanji staring at her with hearts on his eyes.
"Mr. 9, these heathens are pirates." She seethed.
"Yes, that's painfully obvious, Miss Wednesday," Mr 9 agreed. "But if we speak to the humanity and compassion they should understand our plight… maybe."
"You parasite are still here!" They all turned around to see Crocus at the doorway.
"I grow weary of this and for the last time as long as I draw breath, you will not lay a single harmful finger on Laboon."
"He's back again." Usopp said. Naruto turns to Sakura.
"Who is that guy?" He then hears Miss Wednesday laugh.
"You can't bully us into abandoning our mission."
"We were sent here to hunt this whale and that's exactly what we're going to do," said Mr 9. "And this time we won't let you interfere."Both of them then raised Both of them then raised their bazookas. "We are about to give this way our new blowhole! Fire, baby!" Both of them fired their bazooka to hit the whale. They then were surprised to see Crocus jump in front of the cannonballs.
"He... he just jumped straight into the line of fire!" Usopp exclaimed.
"Was... was he protecting the whale?" Sakura asked. She then hears Miss Wednseday laughing.
"Your defiance is pointless," She gloated.
"Go ahead, waste your time," said Mr 9. "But make no mistake, that hulking beast will provide food for our town." They were both laughing earning glares from both Naruto and Luffy.
"What's going on?" Nami asked. Both Naruto and Luffy jumps and punched Mr. 9 and Ms. Wednesday's heads together, knocking both of them unconscious.
"Umm, what was that for?" Usopp asked. Luffy turned to him.
"We just... wanted to hit them." Both Sakura and Nami sighed and shook their heads while smiling.
After knocking them down, Crocus came back and sat on his chair while Naruto and Zoro tied up the Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday.
"Thank you for saving my life," Crocus said, "but I must ask, why did you do it?" Luffy shrugged while Naruto answered.
"I saw that you were in trouble so I had to stop these two." He turned to the two tied together.
"I think it's time we got some answers," Nami decided. "Who are these guys and how did you end up inside this whale?"
"These two are thugs from a nearby town looking for whale meat," Crocus explained. "If they caught him, Laboon could feed their village for at least two or three years."
"Laboon?" Sakura wondered.
"That's the whale's name." Crocus answered.
"He's an Island Whale from the West Blue, one of the largest species in the world. I won't allow them to slaughter him for food. It's a shame he's stuck here so far from his domain. There's a reason he keeps hitting his head on the Red Line and howling at Reverse Mountain."
"There is?" asked Nami.
"Yes, To put it one way, inside Laboon's body beats the heart of the human. He has most impatiently waited and is internally devoted to a certain band of pirates… going on 50 long years now."
Naruto:So he slams his head against the red line. Why?
Sakura: Whale with a human heart? Do you mean literally or metaphorically?
Luffy: Okay, How about this?!
Naruto, Sakura, Nami Zoro,and Usopp: Luffy, what are you doing?"
Naruto:On the next, Shiniboi X Strawhat, a promise between a whale and men, Luffy,Naruto and Laboon vow to meet again. I'm gonna be Hokage!
Luffy: And I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!
Compared to last chapter, that was easy. I can't wait till the Whisky Peak arc because the Straw Hats will gain a new friend. And she will have a key part? Who am I talking about? If you read the Manga, you'll know. Next chapter is last one for Reverse mountain arc. Please enjoy this. I plan to finish it soon. Bye.
