Chapter 11 – The Results

It was a week after Luke and Ines arrived from Tatooine, and Varykino was getting ready to celebrate Freedom Day that would happen in a week.

The broadcast for the weather was that it was about to change. For the past weeks and days, the weather was hot, and in many days it was so hot that the majority spend time inside doors, taking naps and in the river, having fun until late, since the nights were hot too.

But lately there were some clouds in the sky and the old ones who lived there for so long, knew that there would storms soon, and in fact they were expecting storms after Freedom Day, which was good.

Right now, it was a good sunny and hot afternoon, and Luke and Ines were one of the second floor bathrooms, with Lukey. For the pasts months they were trying to teach Lukey to potty training and it was a long journey.

So far Ben was the easy one of their four kids. The girls took some while to ask for, and with Lukey they could see he would be like his older sisters.

Right now he was sitting on the potty, in the middle of the bathroom, with Luke and Ines sitting next to him on the floor.

"Come on sweetie, you need to poop," Ines said looking at her 2 years old son, who looked at her.

"I poop!" he said.

"Yes, you need to poop, cause if you don't, we know you will do on you and that is a big no no!"

"Big no no!" Lukey said looking at his father, who smiled at him and kissing his little forehead.

"This is one thing I always dislike, the potty training!" he said to Ines who laughed. She agreed with him too.

The door opened and Ahsoka entered in the room.

"Soka!" Lukey said smiling at her.

"Hello, what is going on here?" Ahsoka said sitting on the floor, joining Luke and Ines.

"I poop!" Lukey said right away.

"You are pooping in potty? What a big boy!" Ahsoka said to the him and look at Luke and Ines.

"Well we are trying for him to poop. But we are here for 30 minutes already and nothing!" Ines responded.

"Maybe he didn't want to do it right now!"

"He does. Trust us. We know this little fella more than anyone. He wants to poop and it is time for doing in the potty!" Luke said looking at him.

"Well I was looking for both of you so, I guess this is a nice place for a conversation!" she said laughing looking around.

"What is it?" Ines asked her friend.

"I just got a message from Rex!"

The moment she said that, Luke and Ines knew exactly what she was about to say.

"And?" Luke asked right away.

"I explained to him why we were a little concern and what happened in Bakura, and Rex and Cody were also concern too and they think it is the right thing to be careful!"

"They know Bakura too, right?" Ines asked. "After all both of them were with Anakin and Obi Wan back during the Clone Wars!"

Ahsoka nod.

"That's why they were the first people I thought when you guys told what happened. And they think we need to investigate. And since they know the place very well, Rex told he will talk with other friends and they will go right after Freedom Day to Bakura and see with their own eyes what happened there!"

"That's good." Luke nod.

"Also they decided that no matter what they find, they will come here in person to tell us what they saw. It is better."

"I agree." Ines said. "Ahsoka what did you think of all of this!" Luke decided to ask her.

"I agree with you. We need to be careful and investigate everything that we find suspicious. So you did the right thing. Your father and mentor are very proud of you, for sure!"

Luke smiled and was about to say something when the heard of a lightsaber was heard and they look to Lukey who was pushing.

Seeing the questionable look on Ahsoka, Ines started to explained.

"This potty makes galaxy noises, like lightsabers, ships flying, even droid noises every time something touches the bottom, so I see someone is finally pooping!" she said looking at her son.

After a few minutes, the 2 years old stood up and point.

"Poop!" he said.

Seeing he had indeed poop, Luke and Ines clapped.

"What a big boy!" Luke said clapping.

Ahsoka laughed at the scene.

"Clapping over poop. The wonders of being a parent!"

"Hey, maybe someday you will know too, after all, your species ages differently than us and you still can have kids." Ines said.

"I only need to find the father!"

"Maybe you already did and sooner you can see him again!" Ines said with wink, which Ahsoka knew exactly whom she was talking.

Luke was looking at them with a frown.

"Women talk!" Ines said to him.

"Well I'm leaving you three and your poop!" she said standing up.

"Yeah and are going to clean this fella and get ready cause we are about to get results from Dr. Amarhyllis." Ines replied.

"Good luck, even I know everything is fine with you two!" she said with a grin and left the bathroom, leaving Luke and Ines to clean Lukey after he poop in the potty for the first time.

An Hour Later:

Luke and Ines were in the contact room, looking at the monitor waiting for Dr. Amarhyllis face to appeared.

Grabbing his wife's hands, he kissed them and looked at her.

"Don't worry. No matter what I will always be by your side and love more than anything."

Ines smiled and rest her head on his left shoulder. She knew that and she would never question. It was time to take the advice of her nephew Ken. If the force join them even before they were born, it was for a reason.

The face of the Dr. Amarhyllis appeared.

"Hello, how is everything?" she asked.

"We are nervous to be honest with you, Dr." Ines said right away.

"I understand, so how about we get to subject right away?"

"Please do!" Luke said. He also wanted this to end quickly.

Looking down, Dr. Amarhyllis, looked back at the monitor.

"Okay, let's start with you Luke," she started. "Your blood tests is good. Actually both of your blood tests are good. Okay Ines?"

Ines nod in relief.

"Bout the exams, what I saw was a very good exams. Your sperm count is good and its mobility are also very good. Which for a 31 years old man is not bad!"

"So what does that mean?" Luke asked.

"Everything is okay with you Luke. Don't need to worry!"

Ines smiled at her husband, she was happy everything was okay with him. But them a fear appeared in her head. Does that mean she was the problem now?

Seeing that Dr. Amarhyllis, smiled at her.

"Relax Ines. Your exams are also good. Actually for an almost 31 years old, the exams are very good!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well everything is fine. Your reproductive organs are prefect normal, there was no alteration. And your ovaries are still working fine. Actually, you still have a very account of eggs in each ovary, which is very extraordinary, but not that shocking."

"What does that mean?" Ines wanted to know.

"Well many women are different. Some have a low amount of eggs, others have the normal account, but I also had patients that the eggs were quite a lot. And you are one of those. Meaning you are quiet fertile, even being almost 31 years old."

"Really?"

"I had women that got pregnant at almost 50 and they didn't know why. Well because they had the same results that you had!"

"So nothing is wrong with both of us!" Luke said, which made the Dr nod.

"Actually I advice that if you don't want to have more kids, really use a good contraceptive."

"But why can't I get pregnant if I'm so fertile?" Ines asked not understanding.

"Well sometimes stress has a lot to do with that. Many people don't understand, but the mind control a lot of out body. And you two are not the first couple in that position. They were trying for ages, and they had nothing wrong. Then when they decided to stop trying, they conceived right away."

Luke and Ines glare at each other.

"So your advice, just relax and don't think about it and met the nature do its way!" Luke spoke.

"Exactly!" she said with a smile. "Just relax and don't get excited and anxious every time you make love that this is the time. Just enjoy yourselves. Trust me, when you least expected you will have a baby on the way."

"Thank you so much Dr.!" Ines said smiling.

"No problem, it was a pleasure to tell good news to you. Have a nice day!"

"You too Dr." they said and with that the monitor went black, and with a laugh, they hugged each other, knowing that everything was okay and now they could relax and follow the Dr advice.

Everything is okay with Ines and Luke after all.
