Part 12 - Confrontations

After everyone had gotten their coffee/teas or other to drinks with the food that being served, they all sat down, Bella's mother and step-father came over, well her mother walked in brisk, angry pace, while Phil was more subdued, for what Renee didn't know, but Bella did, was that Phil woud come whenever he was off on another trip with his team of boys of the baseball he trained for and meet up with both her and Charlie, and the two fathers' in her life would talk and have great time together, so this was a horrid loss of a friend to Phil aswell.

And so he came after the irriated, angry Renee to keep her calm enough to listen on Bella, and Bella in her place were steeling her up for the inevitable confrontation that her mother was planning to do right here and now, and Dan sat by her side, and he knew of their history and he held an arm around her, by having on her chair for now.

Renee and Phil both sat down with their own food and drink, and then Renee said

"So you are coming home with us then, Bella?"

"No, Mom, I am not, for after the case is over and D-dad has his justice served in who murdered him, I am actually moving to Dan's place which is in a different state all together, as my time here is over with."

Renee gapped before she turned very red, and said loudly

"And who the hell is this Dan person, when and where did you meet him?"

Bella sighed, rolled her eyes before she said as she addressed Dan by her side;

"Mom, Phil, this is Daniel "Dan" Hawkseye, my fiancée, and we met through Dad, as you know, Phil already."

Phil nodded, as Renee gapped then said

"FIANCÉE?! WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?"

"Mom, please stop yelling, and when that happen was few weeks ago, that he asked my hand in marriage, and before you say anything, Dad knew about it, and had given his blessing to Dan months ago, to ask my hand in marriage. I love Dan more than anyone else. Yes, I may have loved Edward Cullen, whom I dated unfourtantly in my teenage years, before he left me the way he did which was cruel way he did so, but that love died rather quickly after that, and when Dan and Dad met, it was love at first sight for both of us. And we also were consenting adults at the time as we are today 4 years later. Dad and Dan were friends first, before dad let Dan to meet me, and like I said, it was love at first sight for both of us to each other. Dad could see it, and accepted it all, for he could see that Dan was and is to this day still perfect match for me."

And with that she turned to Dan, who gave her a soft smile before he leaned forward and kissed her gently, then stroke her cheek gently. Renee like many others who had heard Renee's yelling before and heard some of Bella's explanation were in shock, disbelief and anger of what she had said so far.

Edward and his family had come around the time he was mentioned, and he was both hurt and angered by what Bella spoke off, and all he said at that point,

"That is not the truth, Love." Bella rolled her eyes then said in a harsh, colder tone to him;

"You and I are long over, Edward, and I am NOT your love either. Your hurtful words in my face that day you broke up with me, and broke my heart for good while, shows how immature and un-ready you are for a love of your own in that time, Edward. You and I will NOT EVER happen again, so I suggest you do the same you told me that day or early evening, to move on and grow up aswell. That goes to you and Jacob equally, as I have no love or interest in boys like yourselves. Never will either."

And with that she turned and said

"Phil, it is so good to see you again."

Phil just grinned and said

"First well done of your confrontations on both your mother here and that boy over there, you did well, sweetheart. And secondly, I am happy for you both, as I knew of you, Dan, and I know you are perfect match for my step-daugther, Bella. And congratulations on your engagement aswell."

Bella and Dan both grinned, as Bella stood and gave the said man a tight hug, that he gave one back, before he kissed her forehead gently like a father would do with his daugther, and he said

"The day you get married, I will bring you down the aisle, as your father told me to do if he was not able to, Bella. For I love you as much he did with you, sweetie."

Bella teared up but smiled up at Phil, who just smiled and stroked her cheek again. Renee like many others including her stupid ex gapped at what been said so far. Edward also had hurt on his, as he thought this was the time to get her back to his side as he still loved Bella as in being his girlfriend, but she seems to have moved on and forgotten all about him and his family. For she ignored them after this for now.

Alice was shocked and angered by what she had said so far about Edward and that he was the one to break up, not the other way around like she had thought like the rest of the family had.

Bella then sat down again, and the teams of Dan's work were impressed of how she dealt with those ones, and especially with Edward himself, as they had heard the whole story few days ago, and they had been angered and shocked by what she had told them. Dan was just pissed but happy that she loves him now, and he was her choice of love all this time.

Renee was just in shock and anger of what she been told to her face by her own and only child, and Bella had not even shed a tear while saying so either. Phil was proud of her, and happy to hear what she all this time had longed to tell that ex of hers now.

Jacob and his father had not heard a thing of this, as they arrived just moments after she re-sat down in her seat, as Anthony stood up from his seat and said

"Everyone, I would thank you all from both Isabella and her late father behalfs, to come today and say goodbye to a fellow friend, family etc to you all who are here today. Now there is coffee, teas for those of us that drinks that, and for the children, there is sodas and soft-drinks for you. Dig in everyone and lets celebrate the life that Charlie has lived like."

Bella smiled as everyone clapped politely at this, and went ahead to eat and drink, while talking was going on around them to celebrate and talk about their own memories of Charlie. Bella spoke about her memories of him both teaching her self-defence that she was taught how to hunt, fish and shoot, aswell how to defend herself. She also spoke of the time after Edward broke up with her, and how he helped her through it al, with a contact to a therapist that was recommended to him by one of the doctors that took care of Bella after that.

Edward sat gritting his teeth through it all while she spoke of it, and how she potrayed him as to being the moron and cruel monster of how he broke up with her, not her with him, like he had told his family of it, but also how cruel with his words he had been towards her. He didn't think it was that cruel or monsterous as she potrayed it as. One of the boys from La Push spoke rather harshly on that day, as he had been the one to found her as she had been missing from the time he had left her standing where they were, to hours later in the late of next day, in the woods cold and wet from the rain that fell that evening and early morning.

His family was in too much of shock of what being said around them, and they wanted to know the real story and truth from Bella herself, was it her who broke up with their son/brother or him with her, what was the truth.

Either way, they asked Bella to please come by tomorrow, for they wanted to speak with her about some things, and Bella agreed but Dan would be with her, as she trust none of them anymore to be her own with them. And it was agreed with some displeasurement, but had no choice either, for it was either him or not all meeting up with her.

Renee took off to their booked hotel soon after, but Phil stayed put for few more minutes, and helped out to clean up the place, and he promised Bella to keep in touch and also visit whenever he could after all this, and gave the teams his own good luck to find the bastard that had killed Charlie too. He then left to get back to Renee and pack up for they were leaving tomorrow, as he had work to do again. Otherwise he would have been able to stay abit longer. Bella understood it and him so well on it, she had no issues with his work and so forth.

Jacob and Billy both with few of the peoples from La Push stayed put for another reason all together, but seeing that Bella didn't seem interested in talking with them either, they soon too left, but Jacob did asked if Bella could come by to talk with him at least, but she told him that she had nothing to talk with him about, and that he should just give up and move on already. She had no interest in him, like he thought he had in her, and it was better if he began to move forward and find a girl that was interested in him in the first place, but she was not it for him.

He looked both hurt and angered by her own words in his face, but he had no choice to leave for now. He would get his time to talk with her, weither she wanted to or not. Soon after that they all left the place in same spick and span of cleaniness, went to their respective homes.
