A thousand years had passed since Naruto Uzumaki, the once exuberant ninja of Konoha, had left the mortal realm. Time in the afterlife flowed differently, and in this eternal existence, he had transcended his former self, becoming something far greater. His life, filled with battles, friendships, and dreams, had forged him into a legend among men. But here, in the ethereal planes, he had become a god.
In the afterlife, Naruto had faced trials and challenges that far surpassed any he had encountered on Earth. He had wandered through the celestial courts, ventured into realms of both light and shadow, and ultimately, through his indomitable will and unyielding spirit, had risen to a godly status.
The defining moment came during a poker match that seemed like an innocent diversion but was, in fact, a competition set by some of the cosmic entities who recklessly bet some of the worlds they oversaw regardless of how it could influence the balance of the multiverse. Winning that match had earned him a unique role: Surveyor and Cultivator of Worlds. It was a title that came with immense responsibility and unparalleled power. He was to oversee ten worlds, guiding their growth, evolution, and balance.
Now, as he stood on the precipice of a new journey, Naruto gazed upon the first world he was to cultivate. It was a world teeming with potential, filled with magic, mystery, and conflict. A world that bore the same vibrant essence he had once known on one of the many Earths he visited, yet was fundamentally different.
He found himself in a grand hall, its walls adorned with celestial runes and images depicting the creation and destruction of countless worlds. The air shimmered with the presence of divine energies, and before him, a massive celestial map floated, highlighting the ten worlds under his care.
"This is it," Naruto mused, his voice echoing through the hall. "The first world I'll oversee. I wonder what kind of adventures await."
He extended his hand, and the map zoomed in, revealing a realm known as Halkeginia. It was a world where magic was real, and those who wielded it were revered. But, as in all worlds, it was not without its troubles. The balance of power, the struggles of the common people, and the ambitions of the nobles created a dynamic that was both fascinating and perilous.
"Interesting," he murmured, a smile tugging at his lips. "Time to see what kind of impact I can make."
Naruto closed his eyes, focusing his immense power. He felt the familiar rush of energy as his consciousness began to bridge the gap between the divine plane and Halkeginia. The process was seamless, a testament to the control he had honed over the millennia. He opened his eyes to find himself standing in the heart of a grand castle's courtyard, surrounded by a group of young, eager students.
The courtyard was a hive of activity, filled with the youthful energy of students preparing for a significant ritual. The air was thick with anticipation, and Naruto could feel the pulse of magic all around him. His arrival went unnoticed, hidden by the veil of his godly presence.
As he observed, an elderly man addressed the crowd, his voice ringing with authority. "Finally, today is the day of the summoning ritual. This is the first test since you advanced to the second year and the sacred first day where you meet your familiars, with whom you will spend your lives as nobles."
Naruto's eyes were drawn to a girl with long pink hair, nervously clutching a small brown stick. He felt an odd sense of familiarity, though he was certain he had never seen her before. Her aura was bright yet tinged with insecurity, a stark contrast to the more confident students around her.
"This is where it begins," Naruto thought, a sense of purpose swelling within him. "Time to see how I can shape this world."
With a surge of divine will, he subtly influenced the flow of magic in the air, guiding it towards the pink-haired girl. The summoning ritual was about to take an unexpected turn, one that would set the stage for an adventure unlike any other.
As the girl raised her wand and recited her incantation, Naruto felt the familiar pull of interdimensional magic. The explosion of light and energy that followed was spectacular, and when the smoke cleared, the courtyard was filled with gasps of astonishment. Standing in the midst of the summoning circle was a spiky haired young man in white robes.
"A familiar, huh?" Naruto whispered to himself, a grin spreading across his face. "This is going to be fun."
Knowledge filled his mind as he took in the appearance of his summoner.
Louise Francoise Le Blanc de La Vallière. A striking young girl with long, silky pink hair that cascades down her back in soft waves tied with a ribbon or left loose to frame her delicate features. Her eyes are a deep, captivating shade of green, full of intensity and determination, yet his emotion sensing could feel that the girl was wracked with insecurities. Her complexion is fair and porcelain-like that just added to the cuteness of her petite stature.
Her outfit reflects her status as a noble and a student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. She was wearing a crisp white blouse, adorned with a neatly tied black ribbon at the collar. Over this she was sporting a finely tailored black vest that accentuates her slim figure. Her skirt a modest length, black to match her vest, and pleated for a touch of traditional elegance.
Completing her ensemble is a long, flowing black cape that she wears over her shoulders, fastened with a silver clasp at the front. Her black stockings and polished shoes add to her refined look, ensuring that she always appears impeccably dressed.
While all around them, the gathered students erupted into loud mocking laughter. Naruto's eye twitched.
Cruelty. Arrogance. Bullying.
He knew already he was being laughed at by people who would explode into blood by a flex of his chakra.
And it was in that moment the blond had made a decision. After all these world 'his' worlds now. The gods were the ones that decided how to influence things after all and he decided he would actually be something other than lazy and help his heroes become the true heroes they were meant to be and unlock their potential.
Louise looked to the staff wearing man, Jean Colbert. There was still information that was slowly filtering in his mind and it would still be for a bit more time until he learned more and more about the world. A pleading look on her face while the professor shook his head and said something or other back.
What was the language that he heard was called from Ichigo? French was it?
He wondered just how much more divided E.N. would be if they were more like an Earth then an Edo based world where they had multiple languages?
Still active Omnilinguist proved quite useful.
Louise was pleading with Colbert, Naruto looked around, before his eyes landed on a thin petite girl with blue hair, her appearance almost ethereal. Her hair is cut in a neat bob, framing her face with a simple elegance. She wears a pair of round glasses that sit slightly askew on her small nose, giving her a bookish and somewhat shy demeanor. Her uniform is similar to Louise's, consisting of a white blouse and a black skirt, but it appears slightly oversized, adding to her delicate and unassuming presence. Her demeanor is quiet and reserved, often looking down or away as if avoiding the spotlight.
In sharp contrast to the blue-haired girl stands a striking redhead with caramel skin. Her long, fiery hair cascades in waves down her back, reflecting her bold and confident personality. She exudes a powerful aura, one that is only accentuated by her choice of attire. Her white shirt is notably undone, showcasing an impressive amount of cleavage. The shirt is loosely tucked into a short, black skirt that hugs her curvaceous figure, leaving little to the imagination. The bodacious redhead's confidence is palpable, her stance wide and assertive, with a hand often placed provocatively on her hip. Her presence is magnetic, drawing the eyes of those around her with an almost effortless allure.
"I can't believe she actually summoned a commoner!"
"Don't be fooled, it's just some bum she paid because she knew she wouldn't be able to summon anything!"
"Louise the Zero strikes again!"
Thankfully, Louise seemed to have given up pleading with Colbert and trudged her way over to him a scowl on her face.
"Kneel." she demanded of him, glaring up at him.
"I'm afraid you misunderstand the power dynamics going on here young one." He rebuked her command.
Louise sputtered in outrage.
"Haha, look at this, she can't even get a stupid commoner to obey her!"
"Toss him a few more coins Louise!"
"Classic Zero!"
Louise trembled where she stood, and with her facing him directly, he could see the tears beginning to bud in her eyes.
Naruto turned to the rest of them. "Enough!"
His chakra exploded into existence around him, a wave of pressure erupting in every direction with such power that all of them were sent hurtling off their feet and sent tumbling back, the only one that managed to put up a fight was Colbert who slammed his staff into the ground, but it was for naught as the ground he was digging into was torn up from the pressure and sent tumbling alongside him.
He flexed his chakra for only a moment before pulling it back, but it was enough to make his point. The grass around him was torn apart and the nobles around him had been tossed back by the surge of divine might.
All around him, he saw them tremble in fear as they lay on the ground before him, "Aah yes, quiet," Naruto smirked at them, before turning his attention to the pink haired girl who summoned him. He stepped forward and crouched down in front of her, staring into her scared eyes, all the glare being torn right from her, "I believe we started on the wrong foot but we can fix that. Now isn't there something you wish to say, Louise?"
"I…I humbly apologize!" the pink haired girl practically tripped over herself to apologise, "Y-You know my name, but how?"
"Well its simple. You are the one that called out to me."
"Oh…." louise stared at him, mouth agape and a light appeared in her eyes, "You're…not a commoner?"
"No, I am Uzumaki Naruto, once a mortal through my efforts and training I rose to divine status and became a God. " And with that said, he leaned forward and captured the pink haired girls lips with his own. A spark tingled between them.
Louise went rigid, a sudden obscene moan escaping her lips as she unexpectedly sunk into the kiss. Her body acted on instinct, her hands reaching up to wrap around Naruto's shoulders as she mewled softly into his mouth. The kiss, initially shocking, quickly became something else entirely, a mix of desperation and unexpected intimacy.
Only a few seconds had passed when Naruto felt a burning sensation blaze atop his right fist. The intensity of the pain jolted him back to reality, and he pulled away abruptly, breaking the kiss. Louise was left a panting, glassy-eyed, red-faced mess, her breath coming in short, heated gasps. A thin trail of drool trickled from between her plump little pink lips, adding to the surreal and intimate atmosphere of the moment.
Louise's eyes, previously filled with a mixture of surprise and defiance, now seemed dazed and unfocused. She slowly regained her composure, her face still flushed with a deep crimson, struggling to process what had just happened. Meanwhile, Naruto glanced down at his right hand, the source of the burning sensation, and saw a series of strange, glowing runes etched into his skin.
"What... what just happened?" Louise managed to whisper, her voice trembling slightly as she tried to make sense of the overwhelming emotions and sensations coursing through her.
Naruto, equally bewildered, looked at her with a mix of confusion and concern. "I... I don't know. But whatever this is," he said, raising his hand to show the glowing runes, "it seems like we're connected now."
Louise's eyes widened as she recognized the significance of the runes. "The contract... it's complete," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You really are my familiar now."
He was now the Gandalfr.
While the vast majority of the people around him trembled from where they lay, only three managed to stand up.
Kirche and Tabitha eyed Naruto warily. Their expressions were a mix of curiosity and caution, reflecting the tension of the moment. Meanwhile, Colbert, the elderly teacher, stepped forward, gripping his staff with white-knuckled intensity. A bead of sweat trailed down his face, betraying his fear and determination.
"Who…who are you, may I ask?" Colbert's voice wavered slightly, but he maintained his composure. "If you are here for violence, then I ask that you allow the students to leave unharmed."
Naruto, still processing the sudden influx of power and the burning runes on his hand, looked around at the wary faces and the trembling students. He raised his hands in a placating gesture, trying to calm the situation. "Whoa, whoa, calm down! I'm not here to hurt anyone."
Colbert narrowed his eyes, still wary. "Then explain yourself. How did you come to be here, and what is your purpose?"
Naruto took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "I was summoned here by Louise," he said, gesturing towards the pink-haired girl who was still catching her breath and regaining her composure. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I've been brought here as her familiar. I don't mean any harm."
Kirche stepped forward, her eyes flickering with interest. "A human familiar? That's unheard of. What kind of power do you possess?"
"Well, it's a long story. Let's just say I have a lot of experience dealing with strange situations." He looked at Louise, who was now standing, her face still flushed but her eyes determined. "But I suppose for speeding this up, I answered the call of the Void Mage. I'm the Gandalfr."
"The legendary familiar!? The same one Founder Brimir had!?" Colbert gasped in shock.
"Yeah, that's the one," Naruto shrugged nonchalantly before waving his hand dismissively at Colbert. "If you want to ask questions or make requests, you can do so later. Right now, I want to speak to Louise here."
His blunt dismissal left no room for argument, and his eyes were not on Louise or Colbert as he spoke. Instead, he locked gazes with the blue-haired Tabitha, whose expression remained inscrutable.
Colbert coughed, regaining his composure. "Yes…yes, I see," he said, turning to his students. "Come, students, let's be off and let Miss Vallière have time to talk with her new…familiar."
Naruto resisted the urge to chuckle as he watched the students disperse from the courtyard.
As the students reluctantly left, Naruto turned his full attention to Louise. "So, Louise, it seems we're stuck together for now. Let's figure out what this means and how we're going to make this work."
Louise nodded, her determination returning. "I won't be known as Louise the Zero any longer. With you as my familiar, I'll prove my worth."
Naruto smiled, admiring her resolve. "That's the spirit. Together, we'll figure this out."
Tabitha and Kirche lingered at a distance, still watching with curiosity. Naruto made a mental note to learn more about these two, sensing that they would be important allies—or perhaps adversaries—in the days to come.
