Chapter 8: Bruce Wayne is Batman

As Carrie walked to the Library…
(Later in the Library…)
Carrie opened the doors to the library and stepped inside. Looking around she saw there were a lot of people reading books, doing something on the computers, or printing out stuff. There were people also working in the library either putting books on the shelves, doing something in their offices, or just finishing some paperwork. Carrie looked up at the book on the shelves. She held Batman in the books & found it by looking through the book cover: The Story of Batman from 2004 & 2012.
Carrie looked at the computers and saw one of the computers wasn't being used. Carrie walked over to the seat and sat down. Carrie was about to type what she wanted to search when she heard some fast typing next to her. As Carrie turned to her right and saw a boy she would see most of the time here in the library when she came. She heard his name before, Tommy's friend: Freddy Holt… He was typing something fast. He stopped and turned to look at her when she was staring at him.
Carrie first became interested in Gotham which later he began his first research on Bruce Wayne… She reads about the latest Bruce Wayne activities over the years…
Carrie watched Bruce Wayne as a young kneel down to his parents: Thomas & Martha Wayne murder after the opera on the computer…

"Oh my God... his parents were murdered in that alley. That's why he went there. It was the anniversary of their death. Pool Waynes. Pool kid." Carrie said.
Carrie banner headline reads "THOMAS WAYNE MURDERED Prominent Doctor & Wife slain in robbery Unidentified gunman leave only child unharmed!"
"Thomas Wayne Murdered. Only Child Survives." Carrie said.
Carrie turned back to look at the computer and began typing what she wanted to search. She typed on the search bar The Bat.
After searching and trying to find a description that matches what she did in the girls bathroom, Carrie found out what the Bat was.
Carrie found a link to a YouTube video & watched Batman on a desktop computer. It was titled "I'm Batman." and had 428,902 views.
Carrie watched Gotham Docks, the mod boss: Carmine Falcone looked around and behind something…
"What the hell are you?" Falcone asked.
There were glass shatters.
He opens his hand, revealing to grab him from inside…
It was Batman…
"I'm Batman." Batman said.
Falcone was shocked… Batman head-butt him, knocking him out and falling down, Batman holds him. The homeless man turned to Batman looking up at him… The homeless man watched and was shocked and remembered him…
"Nice coat." Batman said.
Batman held Falcone and billowing cape wrapping. The homeless man looked up at Batman…
"Thanks." Homeless man said.
"Wow, I don't believe you. Batman." Carrie said, with a smile.
While watching the video the same Freddy from before came up to Carrie and told her. "Uh, you know…"
Carrie immediately looks behind her and sees Freddy. Carrie was about to think it was a trick when…
"Sorry. I was just going to say, you can make it full screen." Freddy said.
Carrie relaxed hearing that. She looked down and saw Freddy fingers moving on the computer and moving the arrow to the full screen button.
"Watch." Freddy said.
Freddy pressed the full screen button and the screen of the video covered the whole computer. Carrie was glad this wasn't a trick and was thankful for Freddy's help.
Freddy turned around and walked out of the library.
Carrie kept watching the video, fascinated by seeing what you could do with Batman.
Carrie first became interested in Gotham which later he began his first research on the Batman… She reads about the latest Batman activities over the years.
The fear of toxin plague by Ra's Al Ghul. The murder spree of the Joker. And the terrorist attack of Bane.
Unlike in the actual story Carrie was amazed there was someone out there before him trying to make a difference but also he heard the false story of the Batman murdering Harvey Dent to cover his own crimes to insure hope of Gotham.
Next thing Carrie discovers is Batman's sacrifice to save the city ending Bane's reign of terror so Carrie assumes Batman is dead but this Robin guy took his interest.
Are his interests the same as Batman's?
Or someone forcing Gotham to live in fear?
"Batman murdering Harvey Dent? I don't get it?" Carrie asked.
Carrie read the Gotham Gazette newspaper 'Batman saved Gotham City and Gotham Hero'.
"Batman saved Gotham City and Gotham Hero." Carrie said.
Carrie read the Gotham Gazette newspaper 'The Death of Bruce Wayne and Batman'.
"Oh my God." Carrie said.
Carrie read the four villains deaths of Ra's Al Ghul, Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Bane, & Miranda Tate/Talia Al Ghul years ago in Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, & The Dark Knight Rises…
The three villains: The Joker, Selina Kyle/Catwoman, & Dr. Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow. She read Batman's team: Robin. Bruce's friends: Alfred Pennyworth, Lucius Fox, Commissioner Jim Gordon, & Officer John Blake.
"Blake? Tina?" Carrie asked.
Carrie read Bruce's lost girlfriend and the District Attorney: Rachel Dawes, she was killed by Joker in the Warehouse bomb…
"The Joker killed Rachel Dawes. The DA." Carrie said.
One of the things Carrie has learned recently, for example, is that Bruce Wayne and Batman are one and the same and a surprise reaction…
"Bruce Wayne is Batman!" Carrie gasped, as she knew his identity Bruce Wayne is Batman…
(Meanwhile…)
Somewhere on the other side of Chamberlain, the Joker's men fully backed up to their boss but were hardly satisfied given they had a collar that could fry, mask, and click a gun. The two of Joker's men enter the office…
"Boss. So…fearless leader. When is Robin finally gonna nail this guy Hanny to last night." Joker's men said.
But in the shadows facing the window.
He spoke in a mild familiar voice…
"When it's broad daylight. Batman only prowls in his room at night. There was a time he used to be mad at night. Mostly because of the bats. He wanted all his enemies to experience his own fears. It's what I admire most about him." The voice came.
"But Boss, Batman's partner Robin. The Boy Wonder took Hanny." Joker's men 2 said.
"The Boy Blunder took Hanny! That's why he needs us! I killed Rachel Dawes. Harvey Dent is gone! The death of Batman one year ago. Get out of here, NOW!" The voice came.
"Yes sir." Joker's men said.
The two of Joker's men get out of his office.
"Man, the Boss gets mad at us." Joker's men 2 said.
"Yeah, Batman is gone." Joker's men said.
"I know." Joker's men 2 said.
The shadows were mad.
"Batman has come out in daylight. During, Bane met me. I escaped from Arkham Asylum. So this is sad, Batman died." The voice laughed…
