Kion's POV

I woke up to yet another amazing smell. I once again had no idea what that smell was, but it was a good one that's for sure.

Opening my eyes, I got out of the extremely comfortable bed, stretched, let out a yawn and opened the door.

As I made my way down the hall, the scent got stronger. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where the scent was coming from.

As I walked towards the kitchen, I glanced over and saw Leo and Stella sitting at the table. They both appeared to be working on something but I was unsure what it was. Stella was the first to notice me.

"Hey Kion. Good morning" she said as she and her brother waved at me. I smiled and waved back at them.

Turning my head, I heard a crackling sound, the kind of which I'd never heard before. That's when I saw Luna standing in front of what I believe was called a 'stove'.

My eyes filled with wonder, I walked over towards Luna before she noticed me and smiled. "Good morning Kion. Did you sleep ok last night. I lightly scoffed. "Are you kidding? I had the best sleep of my life last night."

She kept that smile on her face before she answered, "well that's good. Anyways, we're having bacon and eggs for breakfast, and I'm also making some toast as well. I'm sure you'd like some."

I perked up at that word, 'bacon'. "So that's what that amazing scent was" I said causing Luna to farrow her brow. "I assume you could smell the bacon from your room when you woke up. I mean lions do have a strong sense of smell" she stated.

I nodded my head before Luna asked me, "why don't you have a seat at the table and talk with Leo and Stella" she suggested.

I nodded and made my over to the table and took my spot in between Leo and Stella who both looked at me with wide smiles.

"Hey Kion. How are you feeling?" Leo asked me. I sighed and rubbed the back of my head. "A little better, I guess. I still miss my family though" I said as my head dipped downward. Then I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder and I saw that it was Leo. I also felt Stella lean up against my other shoulder.

"Again Kion, you shouldn't worry. Your in good hands and good company in this house. And we'll make sure that nobody bad lays a finger on you. And that's a promise." Leo said confidently.

I smiled at him. These creatures that I'd only knew as legends and myths, in a world completely foreign to me. They were willing to go out of their way to keep me safe and give me shelter.

"Anyways, what are you guys working on" I asked. Stella glanced down at her paper before looking back up at me.

"Oh, we're just drawing. It means you use things like crayons, and markers and draw something on paper like this" she said as she gestured to her paper as well the various crayons that littered the table.

She then proceeded to show me all about the concept of 'drawing'

"Here, try drawing something. It can be anything you want. I'll even help you if you need it" she said as she handed me a piece of paper and what was called a 'pencil'.

Stella's POV

I watched Kion closely as he tried to draw whatever came to his mind. I knew he'd seen my brother do it a few times. He and I are actually ambidextrous when we write or draw.

However, when Kion picked the pencil that I gave him, he just sat there confused. Smiling at the lion cub, I scooted over next to him. "Would you like me to help you" I asked him. He nodded and I put my hand on his paw, causing his cheeks to turn a light shade of pink.

I giggled as I showed him how to hold the pencil. I then guided his paw across the paper. I'd suggested square to start off with. It was simple four lines. Two down, two across.

Sure enough, I'd helped Kion draw a square. It wasn't the best but not bad for a beginner. "See Kion, it's easy. Now you try." I could picture the gears in his mind turning.

He ever so carefully moved his pencil in a single stroke. He repeated the motion three more times until he drew what I thought was a fairly decent square.

"I-I did it" he said surprised. I smiled at him. "I knew you could do it."

By then, mom had finished making breakfast and she brought over the bacon, eggs and toast.

We ate breakfast mostly in silence. Occasionally I would ask Kion what he thought of this world so far or about the food, which he'd been enjoying.

Leo's POV

Once Stella, Kion And I finished our food, I took all the dishes over and put them in the dishwasher, much to the amazement of my mom.

"Anyways. Can we give Kion the tour" I asked. "Of course son" mom replied. Thank God it's not a school day, I thought.

We proceeded to show Kion the various rooms throughout the house while also explaining to him what they were. Of we'd already showed him our rooms so we passed them. But it was our game room and music room that really caught his attention.

Kion's POV

Wow!

This place had everything. This entire house was like a whole other world in itself. There were so many things I never even knew existed. But the ones that seemed to be stuck in my head the most were the music room and the game room.

Throughout the tour, Leo and Stella introduced me to many things such as guitars, drums, and the piano, as well as what they call 'video games', 'board games', and 'card games'.

Leo told me that he'd show me the video games later since there was obviously a lot of them but right now they were leading me back to the living room where Luna was waiting for us.

Leo and Stella quickly scurried over to the three seater couch. "Can we show him mom?" Luna nodded while Stella gestured for me to come sit next to them. Luna nodded.

Show me what, I thought. That's when I looked at the tv again and there was a dark blue image and in white it said 'Disney' on it. I tilted my head at the picture. What was this Disney?

Then another image came up. And another, and another. I had no idea what was going on at first, but that's when my eyes widened. There, on the tv, was me. It was me, on all fours. And my friends were there to. And I could see my parents and Rafiki in the background standing atop of Priderock.

Than Luna pushed another button on the black box or 'remote' as it was called and the picture changed to where it was just me and my friends. And above us was that same logo that was on the poster from Leo's room.

My eyes widened. Below, it said 'Return of the Roar' and it was a picture of me and dad. But that's when I started thinking, that must've been when I became the new leader of the Lion Guard.

And sure enough, as soon as Luna pushed another button, the screen went black and the then began a sequence I never thought I'd see. It was Priderock but it got closer and closer. I soon saw myself again walking up to the edge of Priderock looking out towards the Pridelands.

Now I was really intrigued. I got up from my spot between Leo and Stella, made my way over to the tv and sat in front of it, all while the intro played out. I didn't realized that I heard giggling behind me. I turned around and saw that it was coming from Leo and his sister.

Leo then got up and sat down next to me again and said, "in this world Kion, you're a pop culture icon." Icon? Me? Now that's something I didn't expect to hear. Leo then continued. "Kids from all around the world know who you are. They love you. And I just so happen to be your biggest fan." I didn't know I was that famous. But than again, I was literally looking at a plush version of myself yesterday so honestly, I wasn't that surprised.

I blushed a little. "Wow um…thanks. I wasn't expecting this at all."

That's when Stella burst back in the house. I couldn't tell if she was excited or scared or both, but her rapid breathing told me something was going on.

"Mommy, mommy" she called out as we all turned to face her. Luna got up off the couch and went over to her daughter while me and Leo stood up. "What sweetheart what is it" she asked. "Mommy, you aren't gonna believe this, but I just saw Fuli and Bunga in the backyard."

My ears perked up when she said that. Fuli and Bunga? My friends. There're here. Well two of them at least. "Are you sure Stella" I asked the human girl. She nodded and not a second later, I dashed past Luna and Stella and put my paws up against the glass. And sure enough, Fuli and Bunga were really there.

But I then realized that they were laying on the ground. They were probably still slightly unconscious from the portal. I noticed Fuli also had a human structured body like me. But what about Bunga?

He's always on two legs but I wondered if he would the same height he's always been or as tall as me. I brushed those thoughts aside when I heard Leo's voice.

"I think we should take them inside to get them out of this heat" Leo said. We all agreed as we walked out into the backyard. Leo and I decided to take Fuli inside while Stella and Luna went to look for Bunga.

As Leo and I picked up Fuli and took her inside, I glanced over at Leo. I could tell he was thinking about something but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Once we'd brought her inside and set her down on the couch, we went back outside to check on Luna and Stella on if they'd found Bunga. And sure enough, they'd found him.

He was lying behind a massive tree in their backyard. His appearance was the same but he was slightly taller then normal.

"I'll take him in. You guys go check on Fuli." Luna suggested. With that we all went back inside the house to see if Fuli had woken up yet.

Fuli's POV

Ugh. Where am I? What happened, I thought as I opened my eyes. But thankfully my vision cleared, and I was met with a truly unfamiliar sight.

But something was off. One, I wasn't in the Pridelands anymore. And two, I didn't even recognize the area around me. But also, where was Bunga?

I took a moment to observe this odd looking place. Colors of beige, brown, maroon and tan surrounded me. There were various objects of various shapes and sizes.

There was also a big rectangle looking thing that really caught my eye. Rubbing my head, I was about to get up but before I could, I felt three pairs of eyes staring at me.

I whipped my head around to see…Kion?! And two of the weirdest creatures I'd ever seen in my life. Two of them were female, one was male.

"Kion?"

"Fuli?"

"KION! HUWEZI!" I yelled as I sped towards him and flung my arms around him in a hug, nearly knocking him to the ground. I was so happy to see him again. To be honest, I missed him, badly.

He wasn't just a leader, he was my friend. And without his leadership, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

"I'm so glad we found you. We were all worried that something bad had happened to you back in the Outlands."

"Thanks Fuli. I knew you guys would be here." I pulled away from him and tilted my head in confusion. "How'd you know?"

"My grandfather told me in a dream I had before I arrived here. I'm just so happy you're here." That's when I felt something odd around Kion. I than saw that he was wearing something on him. I decided to ask him about it later.

I than turned my attention to the three other figures that were standing behind him. I noticed the youngest one was looking at me wonder in her eyes.

"And who might these people be" I asked. "Oh. Right. Fuli, Meet the Gonzalez family. There're humans." Humans? I never thought I'd ever see a human before. I thought they were simply myths. But I guessed wrong cause I was literally standing in front of three of them.

Kion gestured his paw to show me who was who. There was Luna, the mother and leader, Leo, her firstborn son and who apparently Kion's 'biggest fan'. And last but not least there was little Stella. These people all have very interesting sounding names, I thought to myself.

Luna and Leo said hi and waved but Stella, the youngest one, still stood there, eyes wide and mouth slightly ajar. She slowly walked up to me and she came up to about my stomach.

I farrowed my brow as she gently touched my head with her furless paw. Suddenly, the girl flung her arms around me in a hug. I was taken aback by her action, but I soon felt my own arms wrap around her and hug her back.

This was so incredibly strange. I had absolutely zero clue what was going on or where I was. And now this hairless creature, this 'human' was hugging me.

It actually felt rather nice. I'm normally a 'I'd like to have my own privacy' kind of cheetah, but as I looked down at the girl hugging me, I looked into her eyes. Eyes filled with wonder, innocence and pure happiness locked with my emerald green ones.

I than glanced around to see the other two humans and Kion looking at me with smiles on their faces. I couldn't help but smile back at them. Maybe these humans aren't so bad after all.

"Anyways. I think we should check on Bunga." Kion said as Stella pulled away from me. "S-sorry. It's just an honor to finally meet you Fuli" she said rubbing her arm in embarrassment. I smirked at her. "Don't worry about it. I'm still trying to figure out this place myself."

Luna's POV

With the green-eyed cheetah safe and sound, we went to check on Bunga. My daughter and I had placed him on Kion's bed earlier so he had something to sleep on. I told the kids to wait in the living room while I went upstairs to see if Bunga was ok.

But when I opened the door to Kion's room, the honey badger was gone. He must've woken up and disappeared while we were talking with Fuli.

Just then, there was a sound coming from down the hall followed by a cry of 'Zuka Zama'. I figured it was from another one of our guest rooms so I went to investigate. And sure enough, as soon as I opened the door, I saw a honey badger in there. It was Bunga, and he was bouncing up and down the place, making a complete mess as he did so.

But I didn't even prepare myself for his next as he bounced forward and headed straight towards me. Only then did the two of us let out a yell as he collided with me, sending us both to the ground.

We're gonna need a bigger house, I thought to myself.

Bunga's POV

I had absolutely no idea what this place was, but one thing I can say, this place was utterly UNBUNGALEVABLE! I bounced around in joy at this amazing looking den. But was so caught up in my happy thoughts that I launched myself at an unfamiliar object. I screamed as I made contact with it causing it to scream too.

Next thing I knew, I was staring at what looked to me like a hairless monkey. I could tell it was a female. She quickly but gently threw me off of her and stood back up. Boy was she tall.

"Woooooah. I this place is awesome." I said in awe. "Oh. And uh…sorry I scared you. I just wasn't expecting you to be right there."

"It's ok. I've had worse. I'm Luna by the way. Nice to meet you Bunga. And welcome to our house" the female said as she knelt down to my level. My eyes widened at the sound of my name from a creature I'd never even met or seen before.

"How…how do you know my name" I asked her, tilting my head. She smiled at me and stood back up. "Don't worry, we'll explain everything. Now c'mon, your friends and my kids are waiting for you."

My eyes sparkled. Kion and Fuli were here too? So that's where he ended up. As Luna led me downstairs I took a moment to examine more of this strange but cool looking place.

But I could only look around for so long cause by the time we'd reached the bottom, I saw a very familiar sight in front of me. It was Kion and Fuli but they were standing on two legs just like me.

That's odd, I thought to myself. "Hey Bunga" Kion simply said. Not wasting any time, I ran full speed and jumped at him until my arms were wrapped around his neck. "I missed you so much" I said as tears pricked the corners of my eyes.

Kion wasn't just the leader of the Lion Guard, he was my best friend that I'd known ever since I was little. If we hadn't found him, I don't know what I'd do with my life. But I soon felt multiple sets of eyes all looking at me.

I immediately let go of Kion and landed back down on the soft floor. "I missed you too Bunga. It's good to see you again." I glanced over at two figures who were standing next to Fuli. "Bunga, this is Leo and Stella."

"Wow. Now there's three of them" I said. "Hi Bunga. Nice to meet you" the one named Stella said as she got down to my level and gently ruffled my head with her hairless paw.

"Anyways, would someone please explain to me what's going on" I asked. Kion and then proceeded to explain everything to me and Fuli. How his grandfather knew about this place, how he knew about Luna and her children and how they knew about us.

I was instantly captivated by his story. These creatures, these 'humans' somehow knew of our existence. But how?

That's when the other kid, Leo, led me and Fuli upstairs to his room and showed me everything in there. It was quite shocking for the both of us. I never thought I'd be on a poster in some kid's bedroom. Neither did Fuli. He even told us about his sister dressing up as Fuli for some holiday called 'Halloween' which earned a blush from Fuli.

Once Leo was finished telling us just how popular we all were, we went back to where Luna, Kion and Stella were waiting for us.

This is the best weirdest day ever, I thought. "Isn't there a mess you need to clean up" Luna said, looking at me with a serious face.

Fuli smirked. "Leave that to me. HUWEZI!"

Janja's POV

That darn Lion Guard ruined my plan once again. It seems that no matter what I do to try and take the Pridelands, there're always there to stop me. Maybe it would work if I didn't have fur brains for henchmen.

However while I was in the Outlands nibbling on an animal carcass, I received probably the best thing to ever reach my ears from Chunga.

Apparently, there was news spreading throughout the Pridelands that Kion had mysteriously disappeared and now so had Fuli and Bunga.

My ears perked up and a huge grin spread across my face. That pesky little lion cub and his two friends was no longer in the Pridelands. That meant that it was just down to Ono and Beshte.

But not even they could take on me and my clan. It was said that he found this odd rich formation near the entrance of the Outlands and that's how he vanished.

I was thrilled, but at the same time I kept asking myself, where did he end up? I decided to wait a bit and then maybe, just maybe, I just might go to that structure myself.

I walked over to Chunga and Cheezi who were in the middle of a tug-of-war with a bone.

I groaned and shook my head.

"Hey, furbrains!" I yelled causing them to stop what that were doing and face.

"Oh h-hey Janja. We didn't even know you were standing right there." Chunga said. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever. I'm sure you two know about Kion's disappearance."

They both nodded. I smiled.

"Well, I've been thinkin, why don't we see what's behind this rock formation ourselves."

They both nodded in approval and waited till tomorrow.

Ono's POV

It had been at least two hours and still no sign of Fuli or Bunga. We assumed that they too disappeared, so we left Rafiki's tree and headed towards Priderock.

I didn't even want to know what the king's reaction would be once we tell him that Kion just straight up vanished. Regardless, we had to tell him, one way or another.

As Beshte and I made the journey back, we heard all sorts of talk going on between the herds, all mentioning Kion, Fuli and Bunga.

By the time we returned to Priderock, king Simba and queen Nala were waiting for us. I flew ahead of Beshte and landed in front of the king, bowing as I did so.

"Sorry we're back so late your majesty." I said. "Rafiki was telling us…" The king cut me off. "It's alright Ono. We've heard about what happened. But I'm confident that Kion will come home."

"Where's Kiara" Beshte asked having made it to the main platform. Nala's face fell a bit. "She's back in the cave. She misses Kion, we all do. But just as Simba said, we will see him again."

Kiara's POV

I don't even know how long I'd been crying but frankly I didn't care. I missed Kion so much. I didn't even care how stubborn he was sometimes, he was still my little brother and I didn't know what I'd do if he was truly gone forever.

Simba's POV

While Nala went to go comfort Kiara, I walked out onto a rock platform and called out, "dad". The clouds began to glow and I soon saw my father's face in the clouds.

"Yes Simba, I'm here." Dad said with a warm smile. "Dad, I'm worried about Kion. I mean I want to believe that he'll come back home, but what if he's really gone?"

"Do not worry my son. Kion is safe and so are Bunga and Fuli. They are with a widowed human mother and her children. They are doing everything to make sure he is taken care of and looked after."

"But what if he doesn't return?" I asked. My father simply smiled. "Again, you mustn't worry my son. He and his friends are in good hands."

"Aright, I trust your words. Thank you father" I said as he disappeared from my sight. Having faith in his words, I went back to Priderock, curled up next to my mate and daughter and fell asleep.

Luna's POV

The next day seemed to be a surprisingly peaceful one, if you account the fact that there was a lion, a cheetah and a honey badger in my house. But then again, they'd gotten along extremely well with my kids.

Leo was currently introducing Kion and Bunga to Minecraft while Stella and Fuli were in her room playing with Stella's dolls. I was also able to find some clothes that would fit Fuli much to her relief. She felt kind of embarrassed not wearing anything despite her being an anthropomorphic cheetah with a coat of fur.

I also remembered to make holes in the backs of the pants and shorts for her tail to fit through which she greatly thanked me for.

As for Bunga, he said he didn't need clothes. He told me he wanted to feel 'free'. Frankly I couldn't blame him. I didn't really have any clothes that would fit him anyway.

I was in my office area working on a slideshow presentation for the marketing company I work for when I heard soft footsteps from behind me.

I turned around to see Kion standing in the doorway of my work room.

"Oh, hey Kion. I figured it was you." I said

"H-hi Luna" he replied, his voice sounding a little off. "You ok sweetie? You sound like your nervous about something." I said as I got up from my chair.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just wanted to say thanks for letting me and my friends stay with you. Though I understand if we're becoming a burden on you."

I chuckled, knelt down and wrapped my arms around Kion. He seemed taken aback but wrapped his own arms around me. It felt like I was hugging a life-sized version of my Simba plushie that my parents got for me when I was about Leo's age.

"Kion, you listen here. You, Bunga and Fuli have been probably the best company we've ever had. You aren't burdening us at all." I said softly into his ear.

"I…I'm not?"

"Of course not. If anything, you've been a blessing, particularly on my kids' lives. They've been wishing you were real for quite a while. My son even dressed up as you for Halloween last year."

We pulled away and Kion tilted his head in confusion. "What's Halloween?"

I smiled at the lion cub. His curiosity was like an endless void.

"I'll tell later. But right now, I need to continue working. Why don't you go and play with Leo and Bunga. I'm sure your missing what their building."

"I will. Thanks Luna" he said as he left the room.

I smiled again. It almost felt like Kion was an actual member of our family in a way. And the way Leo and Stella looked up to him as if he were their brother.

With that, I resumed my work.

Ono's POV

It had at least two days since Kion disappeared to this 'Phoenix' place. And not only that, but now everyone in the Pridelands were beginning to worry about Janja and his clan.

Beshte and I were currently patrolling the Pridelands in silence until I broke it.

I was going to investigate.

"Beshte, I'm going to the Outlands."

"What? Ono are you crazy? What if we don't end up where he is. What if we're…"

"Don't worry Beshte. You remember what Rafiki said don't you" I asked trying to calm him down. He nodded his head.

"Well then, I suggest we head over there. Who knows what this 'Phoenix' looks like?"

"Well Kion, Bunga and Fuli certainly do. And who knows. Maybe Janja and his clan have come across it.

And sure enough, as I flew upward and scanned the Outlands, I spotted the very hyenas I mentioned.

"Hapana!" I cried out. "It's Janja and his clan and…"

Right as I was about to say that they were heading towards the Pridelands, they stopped about a mile near the entrance.

"This is it." I heard Janja say to his henchmen as I flew a little closer. "This is where that little fur ball Kion and his friends supposedly disappeared."

"But…but how do you know for sure Janja?" Cheezi asked his boss.

"Look furbrains" Janja said as he pointed towards the rocks.

"There's our ticket to either devastation or pure happiness." Janja said.

I looked a little closer, then heard a strange noise. That's when I saw a light. And it was getting brighter.

It got so bright and, as Janja and his clan shared looks of terror, it surrounded them. Even though I was a good distance away from them, I still had to shield my eyes.

After a few seconds, I removed my wing from my face to see that Janja and his clan were…gone. Now they too had disappeared.

"Hapana!" I gasped as I flew back to Beshte. "Beshte…Beshte. The hyenas. There're gone."

"So, they just disappeared just like that" he asked.

"Yep"

"Well now what do we do?" I asked.

"Well, I suggest we head over to that spot so we can see it for ourselves." Beshte said much to my surprise.

"What? Beshte are you crazy?"

"C'mon. I mean we might get to see Kion again."

"And completely send the Pridelands into potential chaos. Look, Janja and his clan maybe gone, but there might be other outside forces we don't know about who could try and take Pridelands for themselves."

"Relax Ono, there's a good chance that we might be able to return safe and sound. Besides, I just wanna have a look, then we can go back and report back to Simba."

I was wracking my small but smart brain to try and think of something to say in response, but all that ended up coming out of my beak was, "alright."

With that, Beshte and I headed towards the Outlands, not knowing that our lives would be changed forever.

Luna's POV

Today was a school day. And that meant one word for me, busy. I was going to be one busy woman. Probably the busiest I've ever been in my life.

Not only would I need to work, but I would also need to look after Kion and his friends as well as teach them the basics like reading and writing. But I knew Kion was very smart and could work his way around anything.

He promised me that he, Bunga and Fuli would be on their best behavior.

He also said that they would help around the house anyway they could. I told told him that they didn't have to do it as they were our guests, but he insisted.

These guys were willing to help take care of the house on my workday.

"Alright guys, I have a meeting today. Just remember the rules. No answering the door, no interrupting me during the meeting and make sure that you guys aren't making any loud noises that might distract me ok?"

"You got it Luna." Kion said with confidence.

"We won't let you down." Fuli added.

"I know you won't." I smiled as I ruffled their heads.

"Now run along. I've got some colleagues to impress." They both nodded and closed the door to my office area.

It did kind of help that I was someone who worked from home so that way, the three anthropomorphic animals wouldn't be left at the house by themselves.

They were just kids after all, but they were also my guests and it was my duty to take care of them just as I would take care of my own children.

Fuli's POV

As Luna did her 'meeting', we wandered around the house, looking for things to do. To me, it almost felt…quiet.

Especially since Janja wasn't around causing trouble. At least not right now.

By the way, what was Janja doing right now? Maybe he's planning on taking over the Pridelands already. For all I know, he could've also gone through the portal as well.

I decided not to think about it too much.

Anyways, while Bunga was relaxing on the couch, Kion and I were sitting on the bed in his room, talking about what we would do for the time that we were here.

I was deeply worried that we might be stuck here forever. But to be honest, I was kind of enjoying this world. This place had more things then the Pridelands ever had.

However, an audible THUD on the roof got our attention causing the both of us to jump.

"What was that?" I asked Kion. "I don't know Fuli. I'll look out the window to see if there's anything in the yard."

He walked over to the window and opened the shade. But he quickly closed it.

"What? What is it?" I asked.

"It's Ono." Kion replied.

Just then, Bunga burst into the room, panting.

"Guys…guys. You guys didn't happen to see Ono, did you" he asked. We both nodded and rushed outside to see if Ono was ok.

What about Beshte, I thought.

I didn't take long until Ono snapped his eyes open and began flapping around like crazy.

He was still looked like the same Ono we all knew.

"HAPANA HAPANA! WHAT'S GOING ON? WHERE'S BESHTE" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

However, before he could continue, Kion clamped his paw over Ono's beak. At that point all we could hear was muffled noises from Ono.

"Ono, calm down. It's only us."

He stopped his noises and looked up at him. "Kion? What are you doing here?"

"That's just what we were wondering about you." Kion said.

"Well, the last thing I remember was being in the Outlands with Beshte. We were standing in front of a rock structure before this white light engulfed the two of us, and now we're here."

"That's the same thing that happened to us." I said.

But where was...

"Guys, I'm over here" came Beshte's voice.

We all turned around to see a two-legged hippo. His body was rather round and he was a little skinnier then he normally was, but his face was still the same.

"Beshte. Oh thank goodness. We were worried about you" Kion sighed in relief.

"I was worried about you guys too. Where are we? What is this strange place?" Beshte asked.

"We'll explain everything later. C'mon, let's get you two inside before someone starts growing suspicious of us."

Luna's POV

I was working in my office in peace, having finished the virtual meeting earlier, when I heard faint talking going on from outside.

I got up from my chair, and looked out the window, and was surprised by what I saw.

Kion, Bunga and Fuli were standing in my backyard along with Beshte the hippo and Ono the egret.

I knew that there was five of them, but I certainly wasn't expecting to see these two.

Now I was really starting to get concerned. How was I going to look after not only my kids, but now the whole Lion Guard?

A million thoughts raced through my mind.

If only I had a mansion, I thought.

Beshte's POV

"And that's how we ended up here" Kion said after explaining how he came to this world fallowed by Bunga and Fuli, and now me and Ono.

We were all sitting in this 'living room' as it was called, talking about how we'd been sucked into this strange world.

"Well, what about Janja? Isn't he still in the Outlands?" Kion asked.
