Chapter 13: Secret is Out Part 1

Inside the spaceship of the squid man, every monitor in the room played a news feed of past events. One particular video showed a spy camera bug that was sent down to analyze the bearer, but it returned in a damaged state. Each video displayed news from different countries, reporting on the current events happening around the world.

"The fire alien saved me and my mom from a burning fire," A kid from the apartment.

"Monster dog came to stop crashing!" A girl with her parents

"I saw that flying alien stop a plane from crashing," the pilot stated.

"THERE ARE ALIENS HERE... THERE ARE ALIENS HERE-" A man wearing a tinfoil hat.

"We don't know where these aliens are coming from, but they appear to be here to help."

"The Omnitrix…" The squid man said as he watched the news feed. "Wasted on such heroics!"

"Shall we dispatch more drones to retrieve it?" One of the squid man's drones asked.

"No…" Suddenly the pod in the middle of the room opened releasing steam and shaking the whole room. As it opened a small bug-like robot crawled out. But just as it did a giant armored foot came down and destroyed it. When the steam cleared it revealed the shadow of a large humanoid with piercing blood-red eyes. "I will see to this matter myself."

At the place known as NewsKid Legion HQ, each member gathers their helmets to find Superman. Howard has walking talkies, Gabby does miss posters, and even Patty does pictures. "Alright guys, it's a big job, you up for it, finding our city hero,"

"We not going to stop in anything, let's go, gang," Flip states putting on her pony bike helmet.

"Got it-" Edward spots a board darted over to the board and sees photos of all of Gus's aliens, having red strings going towards the center. Each one of them had circled the watch symbol on all the aliens, the center having the Omnitrix's symbol. "What is that?"

"Oh that, I am trying figure out of those aliens...like important symbol, all of them have it," Flip answered.

"Oh, honestly, I thought all twelve were a full awesome team," Patty said picking her nose.

"Second that, but see one at a time, extraordinary," Patty replied to her sister.

Flip looked at the symbol, really looked familiar, it was the back of her mind, something...or someone until spots a moment of her friend with a watch with the same symbol. 'Gus...how got that watch, it's blue but when he was about to leave it was red, but doesn't matter now, all matters are-' Flip goes to the door. "All matters are to..."

Once she opened it, suddenly each one of them saw a red light.

At the same store in New York, Lilith is talking to the screen with a figure with red eyes, she trying to reason with her master, thinking way getting another chance. "Sir, try to understand...Edalyn is not easy to capture."

"Lilith...it's your final day, you capture your sister or else,"

Lilith's eyes widened at that part; she knew what would happen if she failed this time.

The RV driving on the highway, the gang arrives in New York once again, each one inside trying to come up with a plan to save Superman well except one who is talking to his grandma...his parents are out of reach for no reason, very strange, they never miss his called.

Luz sees Gus holding his knees, having a saddened look, he rotates the watch's faceplate. "Gus...are sure you okay,"

"I have a big dream this time," Gus said looking down.

"It's about whole clowns again, it's like the third time," Amity stated.

"Hey, whoever Gus's dream results calling his whole family must be big," Willow replied.

"It just...it was that big, weird alien again, only bigger and scarier than ever like he came out totally monster," Gus said his watch suddenly began to...beep.

"I'm sure it's just a bad dream Gus, nothing worried about," Doris replied.

"Yeah Dweebus, tried least finds something more than frighten us," Eda joked with a smile.

"It seemed so real...the big octopus head looked right at me and said, "I'm coming for you now,"," Gus said looking up.

All of them were spooked at that part, but Doris and Edalyn were frightened, and upper spoke to the driver. "Edalyn, I wanted you to take Gus and others to Mount Rushmore!" She shut down her screen.

Eda sees the opening, "Got it," and takes a deep left turn.

The others are shocked to see a sudden change of plan, Luz stands up going to Eda. "Eda, what about Superman?!"

"He's a fully overpowering alien, he can take care of himself," Eda answered focused on the road.

Luz made it to the front and looked at her with a frown. "You saw the video, he was captured-" She spots what's on Eda's gem. "Your gem is halfway darkness!"

All of them are alarmed by what just heard, Eda only focusing on what's in front of her. "It does not matter, right now is going to Mount Rushmore, Hooty summon the portal,"

"Hoot!" Hooty shouted shooting out a portal.

An explosive appears in the city, looks out, and glares, Gus gets up, goes to the door, opens it, and turns on his watch. "It looks trouble, I meet you guys there-" He transforms into his flying alien. "Sky Beam!" He took off, flying in the sky.

Luz and Amity in their hero uniform, the ladder spoke. "He's right, we got to least help before get there,"

Amity summons her staff and sees Luz putting in her bag. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, it's about to crack, needed to be there," Luz answered turning to Willow who was in her rubber form.

"Let's move!" Willow shouted grabbing the whole at the end.

"Kids...don't you-" Eda said only to see the kids fly off, go out of the RV. "Kids!" All of them go inside the portal and begin to shrink.

At Le' Roys, Doris was closet, searching for something that helped her get to Mount Rushmore, she was glaring, that all these years... he was still alive. "I saw him blow up; everyone didn't find the body."

See then flashing red light from outside, she grew serious.

Breaking through the window, it's the droid, slowly going through the restaurant. "Searching...Searching..."

Then, it spotted the heat signature coming in the back, and went to the signal, seeing the closet, once closer... it burst open and a beam came out, destroying the droid. Doris held up a ray gun, which steamed out from its hole. "Time to go now,"

A few moments before...

Once again in space, the squid alien was currently sitting on the captain's throne of his ship as his drones were scanning the area of New York with their computers. "Master, it seems we are unable to locate the Omnitrix." One of them said as he faced the squid alien.

"No matter...I have pinpointed its location." The squid alien said as the computers showed screens showing images of Gus's aliens doing various deeds in each country. "I know just how to draw this earthling out."

Outside of New York, it was mostly quite grassy fields surrounding the area. Then all suddenly the earth started to rumble as a giant came over the city border. Suddenly the squid alien's spaceship appeared in the sky as the sheer force of it created a huge pack of wind. A compartment opened up on the bottom of the spaceship releasing many bug-like drones into the air. Finally, a giant spiked metal sphere dropped down from the ship and crashed onto the road below. The spike sphere started to roll at high speeds into the city, as one of the bug drones shot a laser destroying the "Welcome to New York."

Sky Beam came down and saw the droids downtown, he was about to see the droids attacking the place, and when two people called, he shot his lasers at the droids. "Lois, Jimmy!"

Both of them see the flying alien, and Lois goes to her. "I am so glad you came, Superman has been taken by some government villain called Taskforce X, and disappeared out of thin air,"

"I keep flying through the air until-" Sky Beam said only stopping by all three hearing the watch icon beeping, changing the boy into Hot Shot, making him fall on the ground. "Oof!"

Lois and Jimmy shocked at what just happened, the bottom spoke. "That's new, how do you do it?"

"I...don't know..." Hot Shot spoke in confusion and looked at himself. "I was supposed to time out, maybe it's just some new mode,"

"Good, with that mode, you keep on fighting those droids and looking for Superman, we keep on looking from the ground, got it?" Lois respond

Hot Shot nodded, and he shot out his fire thus sending him to the sky. "OH-WOO!"

The fire alien keeps flying through the city, attacking droids left and right, he spots a man near the park and goes down destroying the droids with full blast until the dial comes on and quickly changes back to Gus.

"What the..." Gus looked up at his watch, seeing the symbol beeping. 'It's beeping...what the heck is wrong with-'

"Im...Impossible... you have the Omnitrix?!"

Gus alarmed turns to the man saw him transform back. "Uh huh, you see...it's just,"

"That voice..."

Gus was taken aback as he recognized the girl with brown hair and blue eyes emerging from her father's defense. They both widened their eyes and pointed at each other in unison.

"YOU AGAIN?!"

In a familiar town, the American Dragon named Jake shoots out fire at some droids that are carrying explosives. A giant robot starts walking towards Jake, preparing to attack, but suddenly it gets hit by two purple and pink energy blasts. In the next moment, a blurred object hits the robot's chest.

Jake smiled at this. "I will be dang," He goes to the small concrete. "Thanks for the help girls, where's G-Man?"

Willow came out of the hole, wearing metal armor. "He might be with Lois and Jimmy looking for Superman while doing little hero work around the city,"

"That's good, I wanna ask you, Jake," Bat said looking at the American Dragon. "You say Fu can help do any healing spell, one powerful one?"

"Hmm, why-" Jake asked only to see all three having saddened looked. "Oh...Eda, well...Fu is good at books, you can talk to him in the shop,"

"Sound good to him, Kit you can help me," Bat said seeing her partner and turning to Willow. "Can you-"

"Make sure no one comes inside, got it," Willow replied with a smirk.

Jake walked back. "Looks like you girls got covered helping Eda, I helped out and found G-Man," He took off flying.

Bat turns to others. "Alright guys, let's make a potion for Eda,"

Three of them go to the shop, and Willow thinks of something. 'Why are Haliey and their grandpa helping Jake?'

At New York Square, Cyclops blasted a dozen droids causing a big wave of explosives. "Oh yeah, I'm on fire!"

However, before he was about to finish the rest, suddenly a bola-like device came from behind a smoke pile behind Cyclops and pinned him to a building with blue electricity. "Hey, what gives?!"

The fire alien looked up and saw a giant metal sphere with spikes all over the area rolling over to him. Once it was right in front of him, it opened up releasing a large cloud of steam, revealing a silver tube with a door with a red light on top of it.

The door opened releasing smoke...when it completely opened a shadow of a creature with blood-red eyes. The creature looked up at Cyclops with the most intimidating glare he had ever seen and felt pressure just by staring. When the creature emerged from the machine each step he took crumbled the pavement and quaked the ground. When the steam fully cleared the creature could be seen in its entirety.

It appeared to be a bulky and large humanoid standing at a towering like a giant. Its torso, legs, chest, shoulder, hands, and extremely sharp claws had reddish-black armor plating. Its skin was a sickly green and splotchy. Its arms had red creases in them with long dark crimson rods sticking out of them, with sharp shoulder plates. Its face was the most horrifying feature, his face was squid-like with long dangling tentacles that resembled a beard. Its mouth was covered by a black mask with tubes connected to it. His eyes were pupilless and blood red.

Cyclops was shocked. "You! You're the alien from my dreams!"

"At last we meet. The being that had caused me so much trouble!"

"…Who are you?"

"I…am Vilgax. And I have come for the Omnitrix!"

In a place that looks like a prison mixture of metal with orange energy, each cell has Superman's top villains in New York, and one of the villains is hitting the wall.

"No, Superman is mine, his death is supposed in my hand!"

"Enough Ivo...you all have a new mission in about an hour,"

The cell gates opened, to see each member of Taskforce X, one of them looking up, Livewire. "What mission are you talking about?"

"A threat to the city,"

In the Long's shop, Fu Dog is mixing a potion, helping Eda with her curse, Luz and Amity look through the books, and Willow takes down droids in the neighborhood. "Anything Amity?"

"I have no clue, this Owl Beast curse is difficult, not even my book knows about it!" Amity shouted in frustration.

"Kids, calm down, the first thing about searching is to pick a book that might connect to the curse," Fu said walking to the bookshelf and bringing out a book. "Hmm, how about this, can I help Eda get her magic stable,"

"Better than nothing," Luz said as Fu opened the book.

Just a few minutes away from the neighborhood, Lilith was worried about this day, she's out of time, getting desperate, she needed to get her sister but all was failed. "What's the thing she had, the child with the watch is off limits since it is powerful, and the pet is with her, argh...THINK!"

An explosion of blue smoke came out of the shop causing Lilith to turn to her head.

In the shop, blue smoke around until Amity clears it with her wind spell, all of them seeing a potion glass full of green and blue just that turning into yellow.

"Potion is ready," Fu said

"Good, now we help Gus in battle, finally we get this to Eda-" Luz replied stopping something happened.

Willow goes into the shop and crashes into the ground, sliding down while in pain, all three look up to see Lilith targeting them, mostly on Luz.

"Eda's precious student," Lilith smirked getting an idea. "How perfect,"

Luz grabbed the potion, and she glared. "Don't you come near, hurt us...Eda come after you-"

Lilith teleports in flame right in front of Luz. "That's the plan,"

Willow looked at her friend. "Luz! RUN!"

Amity summons her staff and jumps towards Lilith while shouting. "Stay away from her-"

Lilith summons a stunt spell, stopping Amity in her tracks, and throws her into a bookshelf making her fall with books on her.

Fu stands in front of Lilith who looks down on him. "Girl, you mess up the place, one more break!" He stands in two and does a crane pose. "I do a classic kick on your-"

Lilith hits Fu with the bottom staff with a speck of energy to the wall, making him squeal. "Pathetic," And created a fire hand to grab the potion. "And that is not gonna work curse child,"

"What no!" Luz shouted holding onto the potion, but only to break it making the liquid drop down, Luz managed to put it in a medium beaker. "What are you doing?! This for your sister!"

Lilith grabbed the whole of Luz, by the back. "These spells and potions are useless," Turns to certain two members. "Want your friend back, tell Edalyn to meet me in Rushmore alone or she'll be looking for a new one."

"No!" Amity shouted getting up and charging at her only to disappear, leaving her staff. "LUZ!"

At that exact time, Cyclops is captured, staring right at the giant squid alien, who is also after the Omnitrix, but the laser-eyed alien won't give to him cause this villain is sinister equal to what he looks.

"You're not with the good guy are you?" Cyclops asked as he struggled to get out of the restraints and then suddenly changed into Bolt Foot, which he began charging into electricity causing malfunction to the wires, making the rope disappear, freeing himself. "I gonna shock you up!"

Bolt Foot charged at Vilgax with his electrical hands. When he reached Vilgax, he unleashed a barrage of punches on the tyrant's legs. However, he had to stop as he realized that Vilgax's armor was completely unscathed, and his hands were in serious pain. Vilgax then picked up Bolt Foot and threw him, sending him flying towards a building. In a moment of panic, Bolt Foot changed into Scratch. He began to screech and wave his hands frantically, but in doing so, he accidentally spread his hands and created an open glider. To his surprise, he was able to fly and he smiled, heading back towards Vilgax and pointing at him.

"You are going down Vilgax!"

Scratch accidentally shoots a green energy beam from his fingertips, right at Vilgax who gets stunt in the chest, Scratch's eyes widen and begin to smirk, he's beginning to shoot down at Vilgax who blocks with his arms, hitting his arms, he spoke to himself. "He got quite a skill...learning while fighting,"

"What, should you have disciplined them Edalyn?!"

In the forest near the Rushmore, Doris is talking to Eda, who's checking on Hooty who's recharging himself with King. "Hey those kids trying to do the right thing, they don't know how serious it is,"

Doris goes to the wall. "I just hope Augustus and the others be alright-"

Suddenly appearing in a purple-pink portal, coming out of it is Amity and Willow.

"Guys!" King shouted goes to them.

"You two, what have you-" Eda said looking at Amity who looked tired, and Willow with worry. "What's wrong?"

"Eda...we got a problem," Willow said looking back.

All of them are looking at the floating staff, Eda glaring, knowing the problem is, and making sure this one was...personal.

Both Vilgax and Strong Arms are in a power struggle, the strong four-armed alien getting in trouble, so he uses his lower arms to punch in the stomach...only to hurt the overlord a bit, Vilgax throws Strong in the air, making the alien scream until he changes again into Sky Beam.

Vilgax looked up glared and demanded. "Give me the Omnitrix!"

"How about…no." Sky Beam went flying as Vilgax chased him, jumping in high up to grab him but only dodging in a blink of a second. However, Vilgax landed on his feet and was completely unharmed by the fall, jumped back up towards Sky Beam and attempted to grab him but the flying alien quickly dodged to the left. "Just who is this guy?!"

Sky Beam flew away from Vilgax, who was now running on top of buildings trying to catch him. When Vilgax got to the end of the building he was running on he jumped up and managed to grab onto Sky Beam. Before Sky Beam was about to shoot his lasers, he and Vilgax ended up crashing into a building creating a large explosion.

When the smoke cleared Vilgax emerged from the rubble holding an injured Sky Beam by his neck. "I grow tired of this," Vilgax said as one of his claws on his other hand glowed red.

Vilgax proceeded to touch the Omnitrix symbol with his claw and suddenly Sky Beam was engulfed in a red flash and turned back to Gus, who was shocked at what he did. "Hey, how'd you do that?"

"A child…" Vilgax tightened his grip on Gus and was growing beyond his anger...his robots, bounty hunters, all those battles he had seen throughout his healing, repeating his question in full roar. "THE OMNITRIX IS IN THE HANDS OF A MERE CHILD?!"

Vilgax calmed down, looking at Gus with a glare, and began to hover his hand over the Omnitrix. Suddenly the Omnitrix started to pulsate with dark blue electricity. An instant after a massive burst of blue energy came out of the Omnitrix and sent Vilgax rocketing toward the building behind him before letting go of Gus who dropped to the ground. Vilgax quickly got up after crashing into the building and stared down at Gus, walking toward the boy and crawling backward. "It seems the Omnitrix has already merged with your DNA."

Gus began to run off from the large octo alien, Vilgax was about to grab him but a certain blast of fire hit his back. 'Huh?'

Vilgax turns with a glare. "Who dares to attack me?!"

He sees a big lady wearing white armor shoot out fire. "Me! You giant octopus freak!"

Gus alarmed, looked back. "Heat Wave?"

Vilgax then gets blasted by a bolt of lightning mixed with a sonic scream, seeing the group coming down, having signature suits on but different in power set...Gus each one of them in the news. "Livewire...Silver Banshee..."

A big one with large gauntlets punches down Vilgax and a man with a black suit with swords, slashes down the back. "Road House...Death Stroke..."

Laughing maniacally, coming down and tackles Vilgax causing big dust when clears, the top of Vilgax is a full purple armor man that looks like a dino version.

"I image you that pathetic Man of Steel." He shouted only to get hit in the face, sending him flying.

"Parasite..." Gus whispered then suddenly got grabbed by an invisible being. "Hey, what's happening?!"

"Hey, calm down kid!" He is revealed to be a red-haired man with a fur coat with a black mask. "Stay here so you don't die,"

'Mist...' Gus thought seeing him run off and turn invisible, the boy seeing a villain group attacking Vilgax. 'Those people attacking Superman yesterday, now stopping Vilgax, what's going on?"

Then he got grabbed by a red blur, Gus looked up and smiled to see Jake in his dragon form. "Miss me, little man?"

"Thanks for picking me up, now let's go find-" Gus stated only hearing his watch beeping once again. "No...not again!"

"What...what's going on-" Jake said seeing Gus transform into NightFright, as he phased down. "You didn't touch the watch,"

"Something wrong with it, I coming back up, just destroy the droids I'll send you my location when I get back up!" NightFright shouted phases down the ground.

'Well least he's safe for now,' Jake said as he flew off.

NightFright thought he was going down the sewers of New York, but instead, he was in some kind of facility, really bizarre to the ghost alien. He begins to fly through the place while he's invisible, seeing loads of doors that look like prison cells, must be held captive here. 'What's is this people-'

A voice of a serious male. "How many of your kind will come through this time?

NightFright turns in front of a cell that is red light, he phases through the door, shocked to see Superman in some kind of lock with a man who looks like a general sees the tage Lane.

Superman looked at me in confusion. "This time? You've met others like me...When?"

The General looked down, then looked at the Man of Steel, and placed his hands on the bars. "After everything you've done to us, you dare still pretend that you're the innocent one here?"

Superman trying to think of what to say, only to speak the truth. "I-I don't know what you're talking about. I've lived on Earth my whole life."

Lane shouted angrily. "Stop lying! I was there on Zero Day, and so were you."

Then all the room begins to change into a living open field that could, a few helicopters droning in making a turn to a camping ground...top of a giant tech machine with a symbol...that is identical to Superman!

Changes to the soldier in total straight lines, in front of a blonde hair. "All right, listen up. Seventy-two hours ago, an unidentified flying object broke through the atmosphere and touched down here. This is a Division One classified site, and you're here to secure it."

Then turning to a lady with dark skin, black hair formed into a bun, and black eyes, looked around for one who was missing. "Sam, where are you?"

She spots a tent, she goes to it, once opened it, she sees her friend; Lane who is younger, has a smile on his face...talking on a phone. "I'll be home soon. I promise."

The lady glared, simply speaking in annoyance. "I can't believe you."

Young Lande almost fell over but managed to keep his balance, he stood up and smiled. "Whoa! Uh, hey Mandy."

Mandy shouted at him in anger. "Don't "Mandy" me! You snuck into the command tent to make a call! What part of the "Top Secret mission" did you not get?"

"I guess, based on my actions, the top secret part?" Young Lane asked with a nervous smile.

Mandy looked at him with a glare. "I'm gonna kill you."

Young Lane responds in a bit of frustration. "Come on, Waller, it's been three days of staring at a hole in the ground. You can't tell me this is what you imagined when we enlisted."

"Serving my country without question? Uh, yes, it is." Mandy state

"Besides, this is important." Young Lane looked at his phone until Mandy grabbed the whole of his arm and pulled him out."

"So is this mission. Get your head in the game. You know, one day I'm not going to be around to pull you out of trouble-" Mandy responded stopping by hearing beeping.

The entire sky began turning red, and the giant machine created a large red orb that shot out a portal with loads of warships, coming out of the warships were robots, crashing down, turning into living large robots, attacking anything in sight.

'My god...' NightFright thought with his eye widened seeing this, then more shocked to see who was in front of him. 'Grandpa?!'

A man with a soldier uniform and the same hairstyle as he and his dad, blasting his gun at a robot, the blonde man. "Sir, they're anywhere!"

"Get the soldiers to a safe distance to take out their guns, and bring the tanks to blast those robots down!"

The soldiers fight back with their weapons, badly taking them down until felt complete pressure, look up to the portal and see what makes both NightFright and Superman horrified...a man with the same body structure, long red cape, and diamond symbol! Having black, white, and red armory covering his entire body with a helmet, shooting out his lasers, destroying the tanks, and about to target both of them until something went wrong causing the portal to close, and the robots to shut down. The sky became blue again but the damage was done, few people were dead and others were badly injured, but others were even scarred at this very moment.

The whole room changes back, Lane looking at Superman who heads down, speaks to him in hatred. "Every moment...I've spent every moment of the past twenty-two years seeing this when I close my eyes. I've put everything aside...sacrificing everything... to prepare Earth for your return." He glared at him, stomping down as raising his anger. "But I wasn't going to let us be retaken by surprise. I created Task Force X. I took the tech you left behind and turned your weapons into ours. I made the hard calls! So that when your people came back to finish what they started, we would be ready." Lane lowered down and now spoke in anger. "And then you showed up, passing yourself off as a hero. When we both know what you are. A weapon, and top it off, loads of aliens around trying to save lives in different throughout the state of America!" Glaring at Superman who still has his head down. "So you're going to tell me everything you know. Who are you? And why are you on Earth and why there's loads of aliens trying to become heroes?"

Superman finally looked up but had tears going down, everything he just saw, broke his heart his race, is nothing but destroyers and he is one of them. "I...I don't know." Lance looked at him in surprise, Man of Tomorrow cries. "I always thought that...Why...why would they do this?"

NightFright heartbreak seeing his friend and one of his heroes. 'Superman...' Then seeing the lights flashing. "Huh?"

Lance looked around and spoke. "Waller, what's going on?"

"It's Ivo...he's sucking up the city's power!"

In the city, a total wreck, and Taskforce X is on the ground, defeated, well except for Parasite, who slams his tail on the ground sucking up all the electricity in the city...laughing while getting bigger and bigger turning into a living monster.

"Hahahahaha! I going enjoy this," Parasite shouted keeping on laughing manically.

Vilgax seeing this pointless, summons his spike ball and leaves this place, glaring at the boy's escape, trying to think way to receive the Omnitrix until his computer shows one of his robots. "Sir, I have news,"

"What is it," Vilgax stated looking at him.

"Ivo...you crazy little..." Deathstroke states seeing loads of collars dropping in front of him. "No..."

"I think we're done here, so we just get outta here...and Wilson," Livewire voice

Deathstroke turns only to see Live grabbed of his face, mostly one of his eyes, she spoke with a glare. "This is for what you put me through,"

A major electricity showing and a huge bloody scream.

"If he keeps up, he will drain the city and destroy it!"

Lance glares, should know to keep that suit simple until appears out of nowhere, a ghost, NightFright, grabbed Superman. "You!"

"Sorry sir, I simply take him, and we take care of the robot monster," NightFright responds phasing Superman out of the machine and flying to the ceiling, phasing out as saying. "Bye!"

Lance tightens his fists. "Argh..."

At Mount Rushmore, in a grassy field, Lilith standing alone with her arms at the back, the sun about to fall. "Come on Edalyn, you be there when I needed you most," Lilith said with worried.

Then suddenly appearing out of nowhere is Eda who comes out with yellow lightning, but most are her raging face. Eda throws Lilith's staff near her face, hitting the ground, and causing small cracks on the ground.

Lilith smiled at Edalyn's appearance alone. "Sister, I'm happy you accept my Witch's Duel,"

Eda only responds by blasting at Lilith who only blocks her attacks, Lilith summons her staff to her, and Eda keeps shooting until shouts. "Where is she?!"

"Easy now!" Lilith shouts holding up her hand, making Eda stop at her track. "The girl is safe!"

Lilith slams her staff and summons Luz in the blue bubble. "Eda!"

"You can have her back only this demands...renounce your evil ways, join the Paladin, he can help you heal your curse."

"Don't believe that bonehead tells you, he not gonna help me, he wants to control me," Eda said with a glare.

Lilith twirls her staff, looking at Eda with determination. "Then take you in by force."

Eda landed. "You always look down on me 'cause I'm wild, unfortunately...that makes me work harder than you."

As she hits her staff on the ground, she summons a large energy owl. Lilith follows suit, creating a pure light blue large energy raven. This marks the beginning of the two Thorne no...the Clawthorne Sisters' battle, while the Paladins are in hiding, prepare to attack Eda when she is currently drained and unaware of their presence. Meanwhile, a certain individual observes the battle from afar.

"Interesting..."

Back in New York, Parasite turns himself into a living Kaiju taking out a building, at the NewKids Legion HQ or say Clubhouse, outside of the place is Gus with a man named Scan and his daughter Sarah, the man looks at Omnitrix the device still beeping, tricking something on it.

"What on earth did with Omnitrix young man?" Scan asked looking at Gus with a puzzled look. "Throwing rocks, destroying cans, messing with people?"

"Hey, I saved people with this watch," Gus answered looking up with a hidden smile. 'And yeah that too,'

"It's true Dad, saw the news, he doing a lot of heroic work," Sarah defended Gus.

"Well, this helps stop randomizing for a short time," Scan said as he stood up.

Gus sees a light-blue ring on his watch, and the beep tone stops. "What is this?"

"My invention helped monitor the energy signatures of your rapidly changing alien forms... be warned, if it came off, the dial will cause major changes if not complete," Scan said.

"Thanks," Gus responds, seeing Lois and Jimmy. "You guys came."

"Where is he?" Lois questions and sees both Scan and Sarah. "Who are they?"

"No worry, they with me...He is there, I tried to talk to him but he doesn't move an inch," Gus said looking at the door in worry. "He's needed you," And hearing another building crash. "And the city needs a hero, I stall him, talk to him," He turns on his watch, and presses it, changing into his fast alien. "5XD! Wish me luck!"

A blur came down the building. "Wonder why he calling out the names?" Jimmy question

"That question should tell himself," Sarah answered as she went to the edge seeing the battle with her father next to her. "Come on Dad, we needed least near him if he changes back." Both walked downstairs.

Lois and Jimmy go inside the small building and see Superman just sitting in the corner, all dull and depressed, looking at darkness due to seeing what his people have done to planet Earth.

"Are you okay? Clark?" Lois asked sitting next to him.

Superman looked at Lois with a depressing tone. "Remember when you asked me who I was? Why I'm here? I finally have an answer for you. I'm a weapon. I'm an alien invader sent to kill you all."

Jimmy was shocked to hear that. "No! You would never hurt anyone. You help people."

"I saw it, Jimmy! The day my people sent me here to invade Earth, I saw my spaceship come through with an armada!" Superman shouted looking at his hands, which their shaking in fear. "And it makes sense. Why else would I be able to shoot fire from my eyes, to rip apart steel? I'm made for destruction. The Earth's better off without me."

"No. I won't accept that. You're not a weapon. You're a person." Lois stated placing her hand on Superman's, making him smile a little.

Then suddenly a phone ring, it was Lois's, came on, seeing Gus hiding in some kind of open abandoned place, with Parasite Kaiju in the background, looking for him.

"Superman, I drove Parasite away from the city but the problem is he's still too powerful to stop him on my own, I need you," Gus said

"G-Gus, I'm sorry, I just don't wanna people get hurt because of me, or worse," Superman said

"Look, I understand, but still, if Parasite keeps up draining the city, he will do nothing to destroy to find you, you gotta snap out of it," Gus said looking back to make sure the villain didn't find him.

Superman struggling, the memories still rushing through his mind, the fire, bodies, each one feeling guilty-

"OH COME ON!"

All three of them were taken aback by the sudden raised voice. They turned to see Gus, who looked frustrated. "So, that's it? You're going to give up who you are, what you're fighting for, and the legacy you're creating? Where's the man I know who saves the day without a second thought? The man who helps people every day without expecting anything in return? You used to be one of the heroes I looked up to! But now, I see you defeated, just not raising a fist. My grandpa says this: stop focusing on the past and start focusing on the future. Lois, Jimmy, Newskid Legion, the whole city - we all see you as a man who gives us hope in humanity. The world needs you, and right now, the city needs you." He sees a blast hit a nearby building covering his head. "I need you...right now!"

Lois and Jimmy see Superman stand up, fly out, and see Parasite Kaiju way away shouting in the air. "Superman come out, wherever you are. Or I'll make you come to me.

Superman is about to fly up but stopping him is Lois. "Are you sure Clark?"

Superman looking at Parasite Kaiju in the distance. "This is all my fault. My people brought these weapons here. I'm the only one who can stop him."

Lois sees Superman flying up. "Clark! You can't beat him in your condition,"

Superman keeps staring at Parasite Kajiu with determination. "And he's just getting stronger with every building he drains and People will get hurt, Lois...and our friend needs me right now,"

Just that, Superman flies off at top speed, Lois looked at this. "I know we must do but first we gotta go to the top of Dailey Planet's building."

"To do what?" Jimmy asked as he and Lois ran down the stairs.

"To help," Lois answered

As the sun sets over Mount Rushmore, the Clawthorne sisters find themselves engulfed in dirt and flames, their heavy breathing a testament to the intensity of the battle. Eda relies on her magic strength and aggressive approach, while Lilith uses her intelligence and strategic thinking to fight. However, both sisters are giving it their all and putting their hearts into the fight.

Luz focuses her energy on breaking free. 'Come on, almost got it...'

"I see you always used your head, Lily," Eda states breathing heavily.

"And I can see you slowing down sister, tell me it's the curse?" Lilith asked breathing heavily.

Eda sees her gem just a quarter of blackness, and Luz looks in panic, Eda glares and tightens her staff. "Maybe is the curse, maybe I am slowing down...but one thing for sure... how pathetic are you...best me...at my worst!" She summons loads of blast rings at Lilith.

Lilith created a light blue barrier. "I'm trying so hard to get you to join me. Can't you see that I'm doing this for us? We can make this world a better place we live in!"

"Rule over a tyrant! Wanted all magical beings to bow down to him, locked up those rebels, trying completely take over in the magical underworld?!" Eda pointed out.

"You always think what's best of us...always sure things are good in your way...you think you so much better of me," Lilith said using her shield out of anger.

"You were thinking about everyone else's vision instead of your own, working with someone that might bring the end of everything... I am better than you..." Eda glared, unleashing a powerful blast.

She said it. She said that although Eda may be many things, the fact that she says is she better than her at something always makes her feel angry and rejected. She feels like their mother never recognized her skills and looked at Eda with pure anger. "THEN WHY YOU SO EASILY TO CURSE?!" She realized what she said, and quickly covered her mouth.

Eda eyes wide, her vision of the night of her napping, someone sneaks into her room and places a curse on her, that's someone...is her Lilith!"

Luz burst open from her prison by using her power, also shocked. "No way..."

"E-Eda...please...I can fix it...let me explain." Lilith strutting reaches out to her sister.

Eda wasn't paying attention. She felt hurt and betrayed by someone she was raised with. She charged Lilith with lightning speed with only one family member in the household she relied on. "ARGH!"

Eda breaks through Lilith's shield, causing the shield to disappear and send Lilith to the wall, leaving a crack. Luz runs to Eda and shouts at her. "Eda, stop...your magic!"

Eda holds her chest, revealing her almost black gem with only a few yellow spots visible. She tried to calm down, but the reveal was taking over her body. Lilith needed something to make Eda give in and let the Owl Beast control her. So she lifted a large piece of the ground using her magic, hovering on Luz much of the girl and Eda were shocked.

"You should have just kept in that ball girl," Lilith said releasing her magic.

Eda summon her a large golden ring. "LUZ!"

Eda crafted a large golden ring to prevent the rock from crashing down. She even endured physical strain to maintain the magic, but this effort left her gem full of darkness. As her eyes began to fill with darkness, she gazed at Luz while smiling. "Luz...looked I don't think can get out of this..."

Luz shook her head. "No..."

"Get back to the others, be safe, and Luz..." Eda responds crushing the rock.

"Eda..." Luz teared up seeing the darkness was complete.

"Thanks to you and the kids being in my life," Eda stated closing her eyes.

The rock explosive saves Luz's life but with a price, Eda on the ground begins to screech much to Luz's horror.

"LET ME GO!"

In traveling to the top of Mount Rushmore, Amity who's held down by Willow, King holding Ghost, the Blight tries to get down to save Luz and Eda from getting captured.

"SHE NEEDED ME!" Amity screams looking at the battle.

"Amity calm down, you can't face all those Paladins!" Willow

Doris simply looked up and glared. "I don't think they are a problem,"

"WHY-" Amity's question stopped and shocked, Willow also.

King's jaws dropped. "Oh, my space,"

Luz raises her hands toward Eda who is in her Owl Beast, and suddenly gets a light blue sphere...Lilith smiled at her mission finally complete. "Come sister, it's join us..."

Luz held up her energy orb. "Let her go!"

Lilith glared at her, suddenly coming out five gray tanks and dozens of Paladin members aiming at her. "Begone child, she finally joins a group that can change everything about this world,"

"Don't count on that..."

Out of nowhere, a massive red laser beam descended from the sky and hit the tanks and the Paladin members, causing massive destruction. Luz and Lilith found themselves lying on the ground, and when they opened their eyes, they saw numerous tanks destroyed and skeletons scattered on the ground.

"My god..." Luz said

As the ground shook beneath their feet, they both turned to see a giant figure with red eyes emerging from it. Lilith was particularly taken aback by the sight, nearly suffocating at the mere thought of him.

"Vilgax..." Lilith whispered with widened eyes.

Back in New York, Superman and now Cyclops fighting off Parasite Kaiju, who is about to drain the ground but the laser alien shoots out his beam to cut off the tail making him roar in pain.

"I got my eyeing on you!" Cyclops shouted only got grabbed by Superman, due to a slam by the hand. "Even cute the tail off, still trying getting energy by hands."

"There's have to be a way," Superman responds looking up and seeing another hand coming. "LOOK OUT!"

The hand hits them, making them fall, Cyclops landed but a certain piece in Omnitrix breaks up causing to haywire in energy making the laser alien shocked. "Nooo!"

On top of the Dailey Planet, Lois and Jimmy, and the bottom turn on their phones and speak to the people. "Hi, Birdwatchers. You know me as Flamebird. But my real name is Jimmy Olsen. Superman's best friend."

Lois going to the screen. "And I'm Lois Lane, Superman's reporter for the Daily Planet. Metropolis is under attack. Superman is out there right now defending us. But he can't do this on his own. When I first met Superman, I didn't know how to feel. He was stronger than us, faster, more powerful. And every single day, he went out there and used that power to help us. People have told you to fear Superman because he's different from us."

"But we humans are capable of causing hurt and pain too. Because of greed. Because we want to punish those who don't look or act like us. Because of fear. But we're also capable of greatness. It's what we choose to do that matters. Superman made his choice. It's our turn, Metropolis. So please, turn off your power. Shut off your building's breakers, and your generators, and do anything you can to starve Parasite of energy. Superman has saved this city over and over again. It's time for us to save Superman."

Both Superman and Hot Shot now standing in front of the full Parasite Kaiju, he is ready to end those aliens right in front of him. "You lose!" he shouted

Superman flies on top of him. "Dr. Ivo, I know you're in there. Please stand down. I won't let you hurt the people of this city or anyone ever again."

"That goes for me too," Hot Shot got the idea of how to stop that machine. 'I needed to do it before change again!'

Parasite shouted in rage. "You aren't the hero here..." stomped his suit to him. "You're not even human! You turned me into a monster!"

"You chose to be a monster, Ivo," Superman states with a glare.

"Then what does that make an alien freak like you?" Parasite shouted raising his fists towards the Man of Steel. "Huh?!"

Superman exclaims as he catches his fists. "Don't you read the paper?"

Superman gets blue eyes once again, getting electricity all over him, he charges in a blue beam, breakthrough Parasite's suit, grabs the whole of Ivo, comes out of the back, lands on the ground with a thud, looks at Ivo, and speaks. "I'm Superman."

The sun begins to shine on the day, and as the suit begins to turn black and old, Hot Shot takes his chance and flies to break through the suit.

Ivo sees this and shouts. "What you think you're doing to my suit?!"

Hot Shot is now inside the Parasite suit, he begins to glow. "Making sure you never used it again!"

The explosion caused by the fire alien destroyed Ivo's masterpiece, the parasite suit, sending pieces flying throughout the area. Ivo was shocked by the destruction of his precious suit is gone.

"YOU RUINED MY SUIT, I GONNA-" Ivo roars only he gets taken by Superman.

"Spent your life in jail," Hot Shout state turns into Sky Beam. "Well gotta go somewhere safe before authority comes in,"

Sky Beam flies down on the grass and sees Scan and Sarah, talking to Jake who is chatting with the man.

"So you got a chi inside you turn into a living dragon?" Scan asked

"No, I am a dragon, long race... it's complicated." Jake answered and looked up. "Yo G-Man!"

Sky Beam waves until he changes into Hydro Shell making fall to the ground.

"Gus!" Sarah shouted, she went to him in worried. "Are you okay?"

Hydro Shell changes into Mimic. "Swell..."

"I told you if you take the device off with complete, it will be worse," Scan shouted seeing from the sky. "Oh my..."

"Gus!" Superman shouted as he landed on the ground. "Where's Lois and Jimmy? Should be Dailey Planet or be you?"

Mimic looked up in confusion as changed back to Gus. "I thought with you?"

Sarah spots something in the air. "Huh, guys,"

They see one of Vilgax's droids, go down slowly, Superman is about to punch it but Gus stops him meaning this droid is alone, meaning more something then. Came out of the bottom was a small device, Gus grabbed it and turned it on showing a large hologram screen showing Vilgax.

Sarah was creeped out as Scan who hugged her daughter, spoke. "W-Who's that?"

Gus glared at the man on screen. "Vilgax."

"Hello...Bearer of the Omnitrix...you probably wondering why I am sending you this hologram message. Well, I say this...I have to monitor your heroic deeds in space and I see the people you have met throughout the weeks...now, they're my prisoners,"

"Let us go!"

Gus alarmed knowing that voice is, the screen changes to Flip and Newskid Legion in a bubbling energy sphere, they're scared. Then seeing loads of screens, each one of his friends he just met...

"Argh...you won't get away with this!" Haliey shouted as he and Gramps were in a bubble, even Spud and Trix with them.

Jake was alarmed to see his friends and Family. "Guys!"

"It's like the fifth time this month..." Howard looked around, Theresa tried to break the bubble with her baton.

"You're insane," The Professor shouted hitting the bubble.

Kick and Brianna tried hitting the bubble while glaring, while Brad screamed holding his knees. "I want my mommy!"

Superman sees one of the screens of Jimmy and Lois one of the captives. "No..."

Gus sees everyone in there, his friends in prison by Vilgax... his eyes widen to spot certain ones. "It can't be..."

His mom, dad, and Luz are captured even Lilith in prison, and Eda in her Owl Beast, and her gem is completely black.

"Here's the deal, you will bring the Omnitrix to me at the place you earthlings call Mount Rushmore. Fail to show and they suffer the consequences...tried to bring allies such as that Kryptonian...they will meet their end...It's your choice boy. Them, or the Omnitrix."

Gus sees the hologram end he's frozen in shock, drops to his knees, and stares at the sky while tears go down.
