Moments earlier, Issei found himself engrossed in training within his Dimension when an inexplicable force tugged at him, signalling that his presence was urgently needed elsewhere.
Issei, sensing the call, muttered to himself with determination, "Azazel's calling me. If he's pulling me in, it's for a damn good reason. Time for battle," willingly teleporting to the location where duty awaited.
Upon materializing, Issei witnessed a perilous scene—a hair's breadth away from Azazel stood Cao Cao, poised to deliver a fatal blow with his spear. The abruptness of Issei's entrance disrupted Cao Cao's intentions, the force causing a momentary pause. Taking advantage, Issei intercepted by seizing the spear's pole, pushing it skyward, and delivering a powerful right hook that sent Cao Cao hurtling back into a nearby wall.
Surveying his surroundings, Issei discerned that he was now in a Hotel Lobby. However, this was no ordinary space but an artificial dimension specifically created by the Dimension Lost sacred gear. Casting his eyes across the room, he observed Kuroka and Vali in critical condition, Asia healing Xenovia, and Azazel appearing worse for wear. Issei's attention fixated on Samael, detecting a potent and violent poison in the air— the same poison that had nearly claimed his life on two occasions. His gaze honed in on Samael, noting a black block in front of its mouth, containing the presence of Ophis within. Observing Georg, a member of the Hero Faction, Issei realized that Georg had control over Samael.
With annoyance and sarcasm, Issei remarked, "You guys just can't seem to stay out of trouble, huh?" His words hung in the air, capturing the collective relief of everyone present, who simultaneously shouted, "Issei!"
Breaking the intense silence, Issei directed his gaze downward, locking eyes with the battered and bloodied Vali.

His characteristic straightforwardness intact, Issei quipped, "Vali, it's been ages. You look like shit."
Vali's thoughts delved into Issei's transformation since their last encounter. "So this is what he looks like now," Vali Lucifer mused, acknowledging the undeniable aura of newfound strength surrounding Issei. Clenching his jaw in response to Issei's surpassing ascent, Vali's inner battle enthusiast stirred, eagerly anticipating the impending clash with his formidable rival.
Meanwhile, within Vali's Divine Dividing, Albion contemplated Issei's power. "His power feels like a black hole, a black hole that leads to a bottomless pit. There's no doubt he's the strongest user of the boosted gear," Albion pondered.
Cao Cao, smirking, interjected, "Likewise, Black Dragon Emperor, I like the new look."

Issei, responding casually, said, "Amusingly, Loki echoed those exact words at me just last week. I made it clear to him that I don't swing that way."
Cao Cao, with mock hurt, replied, "You wound me! Congratulations on that, by the way. I don't know many who can take on a God by themselves besides yours truly. Clearly, you've gotten stronger since Kyoto."
Ignoring Cao Cao, Issei turned his attention toward Azazel, demanding, "What's the situation?"
Azazel, with a hint of disdain, murmured, "They dared to ambush us, plotting the usurpation of Ophis's formidable power."
Issei absorbed the information and instructed Azazel, "I see; rest for now. Communicate with me through Fafnir and Ddraig."
Within Vali's Divine Dividing wings, Albion voiced his concern, "Ddraig! That's Samael! Aren't you the least bit scared?"
Ddraig, speaking through Issei's left hand, asserted, "If my partner bears no fear, then why should I cower? The presence of Samael merely stirs irritation within my host."
Azazel, cautioning Issei, added, "Issei, tread cautiously. Samael is the bane of your existence, both your dragon and devil side."
Issei, with a wicked grin playing across his face, scoffed at Samael, "Stay put, weakling. You're on my execution list after I deal with these pathetic pretenders who dare call themselves 'Heroes.'"
The red glow in Issei's eyes intensified, a clear indication that he was gearing up for battle.

With purposeful strides, Issei advanced towards Cao Cao, his gaze shifting momentarily to where Rias stood, eyes filled with anticipation. Excitement rippled through everyone, excluding the Hero Faction, as they braced themselves for the impending spectacle of Issei fighting seriously.
In the blink of an eye, Issei vanished and materialized with precision, placing his right foot on Georg's left thigh and his left foot on Georg's right shoulder. The swiftness of his movement left everyone except Cao Cao struggling to follow. Though able to perceive the motion, Cao Cao couldn't react in time to counter it. Georg's eyes widened in horror as Issei appeared before him, red eyes glaring down, a stare seemingly burning into his soul.

Swiftly, he swiped the dagger at Georg's face, slicing through glasses and eyes, ejecting both eyeballs from their sockets. Georg's scream of pain echoed through the Hotel Lobby. At that moment, Samael lost control, rampaging wildly due to the disruption of the power effect of the dagger. This made Georg's control over magic go all over the place.
Issei, adopting a sadistic tone, declared, "For the sake of my enjoyment, stay conscious. I want this Dimension to stay active as I relieve some stress."
The room plunged into shock as Issei, within a minute of his arrival, had already incapacitated one of the enemies.
Cao Cao, fueled by rage, bellowed, "Georg! Hyoudou! You bastard!" Charging towards Issei and Georg, he aimed to avenge his fallen comrade.
As Cao Cao closed in, prepared to strike with his spear, Issei vanished again, reappearing in the air above him. Cao Cao glared upward with seething rage as Issei defied gravity, flying without the aid of wings. The onlookers marvelled at this newfound ability.
Issei, smirking, taunted Cao Cao, "What's with that pitiful expression? Just a breath ago, you revelled in toppling their comrades," gesturing towards Vali, Azazel, Kuroka, and Xenovia.
Continuing his verbal assault, Issei sneered, "Shedding tears over your fallen comrade after I've bestowed upon him the same fate. Pathetic. Is this the prowess of a supposed descendant of heroes? How disappointing." His words hung in the air, dripping with disdain for his adversary.
Abruptly, Azazel's voice resonated in Issei's mind through the mental link with Fafnir and Ddraig.
"Issei, heed my words about his right eye. Cao Cao has gone and embedded Medusa's eye in there," Azazel elucidated.
Issei, seeking clarification, asked, "So all I have to do is not look him in the eye?"
Azazel corrected, "No, he can turn whatever he looks at to stone."
Issei, challenging the altered myth, retorted, "That's not how the mythology went."
Azazel, focused on the urgent matter at hand instructed, "You have to save Ophis from Samael; he's apparently taking her power."

Determined, Issei rushed towards Samael, poised to strike. However, before he could land a hit, Cao Cao intercepted, blocking Issei from engaging Samael. The golden glow emanating from Cao Cao's right eye indicated the activation of Medusa's eye.
WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER
Ddraig announced as black armour enveloped Issei, shrouding him completely. Vali and Cao Cao watched in shock as the Legendary Boosted Gear underwent a dramatic transformation. Once adorned in red, green, and yellow, it now displayed a formidable combination of black, red, and dark grey. The aura of power radiating from Issei left an indelible mark on the battlefield, signalling a shift in the intensity of the impending clash.

Cao Cao couldn't hide his surprise, exclaiming, "So you are the newly announced Black Dragon Emperor!" He wielded Medusa's eye, turning Issei's entire Scale Mail into stone.
A collective gasp swept through the onlookers as Issei, seemingly turned to stone and immobile in mid-air, appeared to meet his death.
Cao Cao, smirking, added, "I guess he was all talk!" before getting punched in the face by Issei.
The shock lingered as everyone witnessed Issei breaking out of the stone binding, alive despite the apparent petrification and landing a powerful hit on Cao Cao.
Cao Cao, visibly angered and perplexed, demanded, "How?!" clutching his face in pain.
In a spontaneous decision, Issei devised a solution to counter Cao Cao's Medusa's eye using a new version of his Scale Mail. While it outwardly resembles the standard Scale Mail, its internal structure is distinct, consisting of two layers: an inner and an outer layer. When Medusa's eye turns the outer layer to stone, Issei enlarges the inner layer, causing it to break through and replace the petrified outer layer. Simultaneously, Issei generates a new inner layer to replace the now outer layer. This process is akin to reptiles shedding their skin, but Issei can execute it at will. However, this technique is limited to this particular Scale Mail, as applying it to his other specialised Scale Mail requires more intricate details. Issei acknowledges that his approach is basic and could be refined with more consideration, but for the time being, it serves its purpose.
Issei's thoughts echoed in the minds of Azazel and Vali, conveyed through Ddraig, Fafnir and Albion, explaining what he just did "In an instant, I created a new iteration of Scale Mail. Though its exterior mirrors the previous model, its internal structure sets it apart. It boasts a dual-layered defence mechanism: an outer shield and an inner safeguard. The moment the outer layer solidified into stone, I swiftly expanded the inner layer, rupturing the encasing. Once achieved, the inner layer seamlessly transitioned to the outer, and a new inner layer is created in place. Essentially, when Cao Cao attempts to petrify my armour, I effortlessly discard the encumbered layer, revealing a replacement while simultaneously crafting another in reserve—a perpetual cycle of shedding and constructing layers to counteract Medusa's gaze. The drawback lies in its inapplicability to my specialized Scale Mail. However, with further refinement through practice, mastery is within reach."
BOOST
Issei charged towards Cao Cao. The unexpected survival and counterattack left Cao Cao reeling, and the battleground buzzed with astonishment and excitement. Issei's ability to adapt and transform his armour on the fly captivated those who witnessed the dynamic display of power.
On the defensive, Cao Cao quickly regained his composure, activating the power of Medusa's eye in his right eye once again, attempting to petrify Issei. However, Issei, anticipating the move, had his armour shift again, shedding the stony outer layer to reveal a fresh, untouched Scale Mail underneath. Issei continued to close in on Cao Cao, undeterred by the petrifying gaze.
Witnessing the unfolding battle, Azazel recognized the immense potential in Issei's new power. Communicating through their shared consciousness, Azazel praised, "Issei, your extraordinary adaptability is truly commendable. Exploit it to its fullest potential. Cao Cao is about to experience a force he never saw coming!"
Issei nodded in response, launching a fierce assault on Cao Cao. The two clashed in an intense battle, with Cao Cao's True Longinus and Issei's Boosted Gear exchanging devastating blows. Issei's agility and adaptability proved formidable assets as he constantly evolved his armour to counter Cao Cao's tactics.
Vali, incredulous at the spectacle, inquired of Azazel, "Did he genuinely create that Scale Mail Technique in the spur of the moment?"
Azazel, wearing a wry smirk, affirmed, "Indeed, he did, and it's entirely within his nature. Issei is a beast of a different calibre."
Issei and Cao Cao rushed towards each other, engaging in a fierce lock. Issei attempted to destabilize or destroy True Longinus, utilizing his different abilities in the relentless pursuit of victory.

Issei's thoughts resonated internally: "Attempting to overcome True Longinus appears futile in this manner. That deceased deity is meddling in affairs beyond his time!" With a decisive resolve, Issei broke away from Cao Cao, delivering a forceful kick to the stomach. The battlefield echoed with the clash of powers and the relentless determination of both combatants as they sought to gain the upper hand in this extraordinary confrontation.

7) General Treasure: An orb with high destructive powers

This ability is based on the dead God's will, which can perform all sorts of miracles—absorbing the wielder's ambitions and responding to how strong their opponent is.
Issei's thoughts echoed, "Quite a fascinating weapon," as he absorbed the notifications detailing True Longinus's myriad abilities. Swiftly, he advanced once more toward Cao Cao, the clash between them reaching a new level of intensity. Their movements were so fast that it was nearly impossible for anyone to follow. Issei's adaptability proved to be a significant advantage, allowing him to keep up with Cao Cao's tactics and counterattacks.
As the battle unfolded, Issei contemplated the use of a potentially devastating weapon. "Should I use THAT weapon? Nah, it's too destructive; everyone behind me will die even if I try and suppress its power?" he pondered inwardly; he contemplated bringing out a weapon that would give True Longinus a run for its money, although due to the sheer power this weapon, Rias and rest may die.
Recognizing the increasing threat posed by Issei, Cao Cao decided to go all out. True Longinus unleashed a devastating energy wave toward Issei by channelling more power into his spear. In response, Issei quickly adapted, shifting his armour to form a protective barrier that absorbed the attack's impact.
Issei taunted, "Is that the extent of your abilities? I anticipated a greater challenge from the self-proclaimed Hero Faction!" His voice dripped with unbridled assurance, frustrating Cao Cao, evident in the gritting of his teeth.
Undeterred, Cao Cao charged again, this time with blinding speed, aiming to catch Issei off guard. But Issei was ready. Utilizing his adaptability, he enhanced his reflexes, narrowly dodging Cao Cao's attacks while simultaneously launching his counterattacks.
The hotel lobby transformed into a chaotic battleground, filled with energy blasts, clashes of sacred gears, and occasional shockwaves that sent debris flying in all directions. Issei's determination clashed fiercely with Cao Cao's resolve, creating a spectacle of unwavering wills unwilling to back down.
The clashes between Issei and Cao Cao intensified, their battle reaching new heights as they cascaded up the lobby to the upper ceiling, overlooking thirteen floors of the hotel. Issei executed a dropkick, but Cao Cao managed to block with his spear. The force of the kick, however, sent Cao Cao flying through several rooms, breaking and crashing through walls. The destruction reverberated through the hotel, sending shockwaves throughout the building.
Rushing to the broken walls, Issei continued his relentless assault on Cao Cao, who defended himself with his spear.
Issei's thoughts echoed strategically, "In isolating him, I've eliminated the concern of him redirecting any of my attacks toward the others."
[Ability Used: Energy Manipulation: Energy Generation]
Issei then unleashed his Energy Manipulation ability, generating a barrage of energy projectiles he directed towards Cao Cao. Explosions erupted throughout the rooms, extending into the hallways on the floors above. The stream of explosions cascaded over the ledge of the upper floors, making its way down to the lobby area where the others were located.
The dazzling display of lights and explosions lit up the hotel, shaking the entire building as shockwaves coursed through the walls and floors. The ORC and Vali Team members shielded themselves with Le Fay's defence magic, protecting against falling debris and the remnants of Issei's energy attack as they witnessed the intense battle above.
Kiba observed Le Fay struggling to hold back Issei's power and realized, "Even if the strikes ain't aimed at us, everyone caught in the radius of those blows will feel the impact." He marvelled at the extent to which Issei had restrained himself during their training sessions.
Cao Cao, overwhelmed by Issei's relentless assault, found himself struggling to defend against the onslaught of energy projectiles. Issei's mastery of energy manipulation became a formidable game-changer, creating chaos in the rooms and hallways and making it challenging for Cao Cao to find a safe footing amid the explosive bursts.
Aware that fighting Issei in a confined space was suicidal, Cao Cao used his spear to break through a wall leading to the lobby area. As he emerged from the smoke and dust, onlookers saw the right sleeve of his shirt destroyed and his right arm badly burnt.
Cao Cao's frustration echoed in his thoughts: "I knew he was strong, but this is just absurd! I remember he had specialized Scale Mail, which reflects the evil pieces. And although there has been a colour change, I can tell that his current one is the standard, which is a jack of all trades. This means that right now, he cannot use the other ones due to my right eye. Shit! I got this right eye to combat the Scale Mail users, yet here he is, already having adapted to it. I knew he wouldn't be with the Gremory Peerage, so I was confident we'd accomplish this mission. Little did I know that he would be teleported here."
Issei hovered out of the smoke and dust, looking down condescendingly at Cao Cao, who glared up at him. Cao Cao, noticing Samael still rampaging through the hotel, lunged towards Issei with a burst of speed. Issei responded by diving towards Cao Cao, meeting at the centre for a clash of hits and blocks. Ultimately, Issei emerged as the victor, sending Cao Cao flying towards one of the hotel rooms.
Without giving Cao Cao a moment of rest, Issei chased after him. Entering the room where Cao Cao had been thrown, Issei was momentarily confused as a bed mattress was thrown at him. This distraction allowed Cao Cao to strike, thrusting a spear through the mattress toward Issei. However, Issei's quick reflexes allowed him to narrowly avoid the spear's extension by discarding his Scale Mail, which True Longinus pierced.
The onlookers in the lobby witnessed a Black Scale Mail being pierced and pushed to the opposite end of the hotel. Silence fell as the impaled armour was pushed back into the lobby. The onlookers, including Rias, Akeno, Asia, Koneko, Kiba, Le Fay, and Vali, gasped in shock and horror, fearing the worst for Issei.
Rias exclaimed, "Issei!"
Their worries were short-lived as the black Scale Mail dissolved into black particles, revealing Issei standing unharmed. Issei had ejected himself from the Scale Mail to create a decoy, escaping True Longinus' deadly thrust.
Unaware of Issei's maneuver, Cao Cao celebrated his supposed victory. However, his celebration was abruptly cut short as Issei appeared right next to him, a look of determination on his face. In an instant, Issei delivered a powerful double-hammer-fist blow with enough force to send Cao Cao hurtling through the many floors of the hotel. The impact created a series of deafening crashes as Cao Cao crashed through walls and ceilings before finally landing on the ground floor with a resounding thud.
The ORC and Vali Team members watched in awe as Issei's incredible strength and combat prowess were fully displayed. The impact further compromised the hotel's structural integrity, causing additional chaos and destruction.
Rias expressed a mixture of relief and admiration, saying, "Issei, that was incredible!"
Kiba nodded in agreement, adding, "He's truly on a different level now."
Issei once again donned his new Balance Breaker, looking down on Cao Cao.
Issei contemplated, "In light of the thrashing he's received, one would expect him to be incapacitated. And yet, he endures? Could it be that True Longinus is propelling him past the boundaries of mere human endurance?"
Despite the ringing in his ears, Cao Cao got back up and jumped towards Issei through the holes in the hotel. However, just before reaching Issei, he completely changed his direction, performing a faint. Issei kept his senses heightened, ready for whatever Cao Cao had planned.
An orb appeared next to Issei, and out of the Orb emerged Cao Cao. Cao Cao had used Horse Treasure to pull a surprise attack on Issei. Narrowly avoiding the spear thrust, Issei spotted a bathroom sink and seized the opportunity. Ripping the sink off the wall, he smashed it across Cao Cao's face, exploiting the opening left by the extended spear thrust.
Issei scoffed at Cao Cao, saying, "Arrogant fool, you overestimate your worth, you filthy Ningen," as he watched Cao Cao being forcefully hurled through more walls, crashing into the lobby with a resounding impact.
[Relationship Change]
[Cao Cao]
[From None to Bitch]
Spectators who had witnessed Cao Cao bullying them before Issei arrived saw him flung out of the 6th floor of the hotel back into the lobby. Cao Cao's face was bloody, bruised, and smashed up. Seeing this, Azazel and Vali gave a satisfied smirk, enjoying Cao Cao's suffering.
Although Cao Cao wasn't out of the battle, his pride as a Hero and his goals kept him going. Landing gracefully on the ground, Issei looked down at Cao Cao with disdain. Despite the injuries and evident pain, Cao Cao pushed himself up, defiantly wiping the blood from his face with a glare.
Cao Cao declared, "I won't be defeated so easily, Hyoudou. I fight for a cause greater than myself!" summoning his remaining strength.
The spectators in the lobby, who had witnessed Cao Cao's previous arrogance, now looked on with a mix of surprise and satisfaction at seeing him humbled.
Vali stated with a sly grin, "Cao Cao is at last reaping the consequences he so richly earned."
Once again, Issei and Cao Cao engaged in closer-quarter combat. Sparks and loud thuds filled the lobby as their powerful blows collided. The sheer force of their combat sent shockwaves through the area, scattering debris and creating a chaotic spectacle.
Moving with incredible speed and precision, Issei and Cao Cao anticipated each other's moves. The lobby's architecture became a backdrop for their fierce exchange, with pillars and walls bearing the brunt of their relentless assault.
As they continued to trade blows, Cao Cao displayed newfound determination, fueled by his pride as a Hero and lofty goals. Issei maintained focus, not underestimating Cao Cao's resilience despite the earlier setbacks.
Azazel, Vali, and the other ORC members watched in awe and excitement. Issei's newfound power and adaptability were astounding, surpassing his previous limits. Vali, despite being Issei's rival, felt a sense of exhilaration, yearning for a challenge that Issei exceeded.
Issei noticed a pattern in Cao Cao's attacks. He saw an opening, a momentary lapse in Cao Cao's defences. Capitalizing on the opportunity with lightning speed, Issei delivered a powerful punch to Cao Cao's abdomen, causing him to stagger backward.
Cao Cao responded by charging back towards Issei, engaging in another lock clash.
Issei internally scoffed, thinking, "This human outmatches Sairaorg's strength, even with Regulus. Remove that spear, and he's utterly inconsequential."
On the ground, Asia finally finished healing Xenovia and started moving towards Kuroka to heal her. However, since Samael was rampaging due to not being under Georg's control, his attack was directed towards Asia. A sense of dread overcame her, along with everyone else who saw Samael violently approaching her.
Ddraig roared urgently within their mental connection, "Partner! The Nun! She's in trouble!"
Issei's eyes widened in concern upon hearing Ddraig's warning. Without a moment's hesitation, he disengaged from his clash with Cao Cao and darted towards Asia, his armour shifting to enhance his speed. Samael created a tendril from his body and whipped it towards Asia. Issei intercepted Samael's attack just in time, pushing Asia out of the way and taking the whip around his neck. Instantly, his Scale Mail completely shattered due to the Dragon Eater's poison. But it didn't stop there; the tendril wrapped around Issei's bare neck, burning through his high-collar clothing. With a grunt of pain, Issei ripped off the tendril from his neck and threw Samael away, dropping to a knee as he was infected with Samael's poison.
[WARNING: YOU HAVE BEEN POISONED!]
The ORC shouted in horror, "Issei!" They knew that Samael was Issei's ultimate kryptonite; not even Vali would be as affected as him.
Issei vomited a glop of blood while still on a knee. Asia rushed over to Issei to heal him.
Asia, with teary eyes, said, "Issei! Don't worry! I'll heal you!" Rias and Akeno approached to see if he was okay, followed by Irina and Ravel.
Issei held up his left hand, telling Asia to stop.
"Asia, it's fine. Go heal Kuroka," he commanded in a weak tone.
Reluctantly, Asia agreed. Rias and Akeno surrounded Issei, comforting him. They would have used their type of healing magic, but their abilities were sealed due to Cao Cao's Balance Breaker. Irina and Ravel attempted to use their limited healing magic since their abilities hadn't been sealed. All four noticed the Dragon Mark on the left side of Issei's neck, thinking it was a tattoo, except for Ravel, who already knew about it. Tears formed in their eyes as the severity of Issei's situation dawned upon them; Issei might die.
The scene in the hotel lobby had taken a dire turn, as Issei's encounter with Samael's poison left him weakened and in critical condition. Rias and Akeno were at his side, their expressions filled with concern and sorrow. Issei's resolve remained unbroken, but the poison's effects were taking a toll on his body.
Rias said, "Issei, we need to do something. You can't stay like this," her voice trembling with worry. Akeno added, "Please, Issei, you have to let us help you," tears glistening in her eyes.
Meanwhile, Cao Cao callously observed the situation, mocking Issei's predicament, "Well then, all the big threats are down; who's next?" he laughed.
Kiba stepped forward, determined to avenge his friends and confront Cao Cao. "Your strength is overwhelming! Yet, landing a single cut on you is a matter of pride for a swordsman like myself!" Kiba declared.
Cao Cao acknowledged Kiba's talent with a smirk, "Nice sword, Kiba Yuuto. A talent that is close to that of Siegfried. The only one who can fight against me without having any effect is you. But if it is you who is still growing, then I can beat you easily."
As Cao Cao swung his spear at Kiba, the swordsman skillfully avoided the attack by jumping back. Kiba unleashed his Sword of Betrayer, created his Holy Eraser Sword, and utilized his other sacred gear, Blade Blacksmith Glory Drag Trooper, to summon Dragon Knights to attack Cao Cao.
Cao Cao showed interest in Kiba's new Balance Breaker, stating, "A new Balance-Breaker! Please let me see it! It will become good data!"
However, Cao Cao swiftly demolished all of Kiba's Dragon Knights. Undeterred, Kiba utilized the ability Issei had helped him refine, launching a barrage of projectile daggers toward Cao Cao. Despite the onslaught, Cao Cao dodged and deflected each projectile with ease.
Cao Cao commented, "What an interesting way to use your Balance Breaker! Who taught you?!" with a mixture of amusement and curiosity.
Meanwhile, Issei lay on the ground, panting heavily due to the poison in his body. Akeno and Rias attempted to comfort him, while Ravel and Irina worked to heal him with their limited magical abilities.
Issei glared up at Samael with his glowing red eyes, emitting a bloodlust that made Samael freeze up.
Issei, in a dark tone, declared, "I'm going to fuck you up," causing Akeno, Rias, Ravel, and Irina to shiver at the intensity of his words.
[New Task]
[Turn Samael into a weapon]
Issei mused, "Transforming him into a weapon? What's the rationale behind that? Plus, the probability of me effectively wielding this 'weapon' through Item Extraction seems rather low. Unless..." pinpointing the resolution to the challenge.
"Ddraig, this is worse than the sword that Loki stabbed me with last week", Issei says inwardly.
Ddraig's voice echoed in Issei's mind, "Of course, this is the real thing."
Issei acknowledged, "Seems like once the poison exits Samael's body, it has a half-life," recognizing a crucial detail.
Ddraig inquired, "Is it time for the special tool?"
Issei confidently replied, "You bet," signalling their readiness for a unique solution to the predicament.
Flash Back
Issei, in a determined state, stood in his Dimension, staring at the Sword of Loki that had nearly claimed his life on a fateful Saturday after his return to Kuoh.

Samael's Poison Imbued Sword
Rarity: Rare
Classification: Sword
Stats: N/A
Ability: One of many weapons imbued with Samael's Poison made by an unknown benefactor. Capable of harming Dragon-type beings.
WARNING: You aren't able to wield this due to the conflict it has with your dragon side. If attempted, it will lead to harm and maybe death.
--
Ddraig inquired, "So what do you plan on doing with it?"
Issei explained, "Make an injectable anti-body which will nullify the poison itself," signalling his intention to counteract the lethal effects of Samael's poison.
He began experimenting with the poison, using his blood in various trials. There were instances when he had to resort to Divine Dividing to manage the excess dosage.
Day passed, and Sunday arrived, yet Issei hadn't found a solution to counter the poison. In frustration, he kicked the chair he had been sitting on.
Issei, gritting his teeth, exclaimed, "Why isn't this working?! Is there something missing?! Does more blood need to be shed?!"
Undeterred, he took a different approach a few days later, delving into the realm of nanomachines, specifically nanites. These nanites would collect and trap the poison in his body, with various methods of expulsion such as exhaling, perspiring, and secretion.
Issei, holding a three-pointed pen syringe containing the 'Anti Samael Nanites,' remarked with a smirk, "Nanomachines, son."
Flashback End
Issei, determined to counteract Samael's poison, retrieved a pen syringe from his jacket pocket and injected himself into his thigh, catching the attention of Rias, Akeno, Ravel, and Irina.
As Issei administered the Anti Samael Nanites, a surge of pain shot through his body. The nanites immediately went to work, their microscopic forms targeting the Samael's poison within him. Faint glows emanated from his veins as the nanites began their mission to neutralize the deadly substance.
The four girls observed with a mix of awe and concern, their eyes fixed on Issei's determined expression. They were well aware of the risk he was taking with this experimental solution, but they also understood his unwavering determination to protect everyone, even at the expense of his own well-being.
Rias voiced her concern, asking, "Issei? What did you inject yourself with?"
Issei, enduring the pain, assured her, "It's fine, Rias. I'll be fine."
Meanwhile, Kiba continued his relentless battle against Cao Cao, refusing to back down despite overwhelming odds. Cao Cao found Kiba's determination intriguing, admiring the young swordsman's resilience.
Cao Cao remarked, "Your persistence is commendable, Kiba Yuuto. But I'm afraid it won't be enough to defeat me," his voice laced with amusement and respect.
Kiba gritted his teeth, refusing to yield to Cao Cao's taunts. He pushed himself to his limits, launching a relentless assault of sword strikes and projectile attacks. Cao Cao skillfully countered each move, his experience and mastery of True Longinus evident in every motion.
Back on the ground, Issei clenched his fists, feeling the nanites working through his bloodstream. The pain intensified, but he gritted his teeth, determined not to succumb. He sensed the poison gradually weakening, its potency neutralized by the advanced technology of the nanites.
"Ddraig, how's the progress?" Issei mentally inquired about the progress too Ddraig, his voice strained from the pain.
Ddraig reassured, "They're doing their job, partner. Just hold on a little longer."
Issei chuckled weakly, "Hmpf, we designed the nanites to counter the poison-imbued weapons, not the real thing."
Ddraig cautioned, "Yes, and for that it's going to drag on a bit more. Don't forget the price you pay messing with these nanites; it's a real strain on your mind and body. And, just to add to the fun, your Scale Mail's off-limits until these nanites clear out of your system."
Issei acknowledged, "If we get hit one more time by that 'thing', we might just die," with a chuckle.
Ddraig warned, "So I suggest you don't get hit by that thing again."
Issei, despite the pain, resolved to prepare for the upcoming task involving Samael, slowly getting back to his feet. Rias and Akeno attempted to pull Issei down, urging him to avoid overexertion. However, before they could counter his protest, he took charge, barking out commands with unwavering authority.
Issei's voice cut through the chaos, declaring, "Listen up, all of you. Starting now, I expect your full cooperation. Kiba, maintain pressure on Cao Cao. Koneko, support Kiba from a distance if you're still combat-ready. Rias and Akeno, direct your efforts at Samael. Rest assured, I have a solution to counteract the effects of your abilities being sealed."
His determination resonated in his voice, commanding the attention of everyone present. Despite concerns about his well-being, his friends recognized the fire in his eyes and nodded in agreement.
Reflecting the same determination as Issei, Kiba acknowledged the orders with a firm nod, declaring, "Understood, Issei. I won't let Cao Cao get away," his grip on his sword tightening.
Koneko, despite her injuries, nodded as well, her determination unwavering. "I'll support Kiba from a distance. Leave it to me," she affirmed.
Rias and Akeno exchanged glances before turning back to Issei, their trust in his leadership unshaken.
"We'll focus on taking down Samael. Just be careful, Issei," Rias said, her voice laced with concern.
"We believe in you, Issei." Akeno added, a determined glint in her eyes.
Issei acknowledged their words with a nod. With his plan set in motion, he focused on Samael, who was still wreaking havoc in the vicinity.
"Ddraig, let's prepare the special tool for Samael. I need you to guide me through the process," Issei said, his voice unwavering.
"Got it, partner. Just focus on maintaining control. We'll handle the rest," Ddraig reassured.
Meanwhile, Kiba continued his fierce battle against Cao Cao, his swords dancing in the air as he countered every move. Koneko, positioned strategically from a distance, launched energy projectiles, supporting Kiba while maintaining a safe space from the enemy.
Issei utilized his dimension inventory ability, bringing out his first-ever item-extracted weapon.

He instructed Rias to hold the sword on her back with the sheath and strap, activating its unique ability to nullify Cao Cao's power-sealing.
With Rias and Akeno's powers no longer sealed, they unleashed devastating attacks on Samael, forcing the ancient being on the defensive. The battle raged on, each group member fighting with unwavering resolve.
Amidst the ongoing conflict, Issei moved to the weakened Azazel and Vali. Utilizing his dimensional inventory ability once again, he brought out a katana.

In his weakened state, Azazel questioned Issei's intentions.
"What are you planning?" he asked.
Issei, with an authoritative and informative demeanour, explained, "In the same way Susanoo, the God of Sea and Storm, sealed the malevolent dragon Yamato No Orochi using the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, I'm about to seal Samael within this katana. As I've mentioned before, these feeble weapons are merely blank canvases, and I intend to seal Samael after enhancing this katana."
Azazel's eyes widened in realization as he grasped the audacity of Issei's plan. Sealing an ancient, powerful being like Samael into a mere katana seemed ambitious, yet Azazel couldn't deny Issei's determination and resourcefulness.
"That's quite the audacious scheme you've hatched, Issei. But can you truly execute it?" Azazel inquired his tone a blend of apprehension and optimism.
"I'll figure it out through action. It's imperative that I take charge. We can't afford to let Samael roam unchecked," Issei declared, his gaze ablaze with unwavering resolve.
Issei proceeded to collect blood from his body and began writing Nordic runes on the katana's hilt, blade, and sheath.
"From where did you acquire the knowledge of Nordic runes?" Azazel asked, a wry smirk playing on his lips, undeterred by the current predicament.
"I observed Rossweisse, and I've committed her methodology to memory," Issei responded, continuing to write.
"A Christian entity entwined with an Eastern Dragon, a samurai's blade, and ancient Nordic inscriptions? My, my, aren't you the cosmopolitan conundrum?" Azazel jestingly remarked, his voice a faint echo of its former vigour.
"Be quiet, old man," Issei retorted.
"There are a few problems, though," Azazel mentioned.
"What is it?" Issei inquired, still focused on inscribing runes in his blood.
"I assume you wish to harness the sword post-sealing. Do recall that Ascalon underwent profound modifications courtesy of the three factions, tailored specifically to grant you the ability to use it. Editing the runes becomes imperative for wielding its power. Furthermore, considering the sub-species within Cao Cao's Balance Breaker, be mindful that he wields the power to obliterate weaponry with but a single sphere," Azazel elucidated.
"I see; I'll take that into account," Issei replied as he continued to write runes in his blood.
While Issei was immersed in inscribing Nordic runes on the katana, Rias and the rest continued to follow his commands. Akeno and Rias cast various spells towards Samael, with little success in harming it, and Kiba and Koneko took on Cao Cao, holding him off but unable to make significant headway.
After a minute, Issei stood back up and walked towards Rias and Akeno.
"Your efforts are commendable; I'll handle it from this point," he declared, holding the katana with his left hand in a rather unconventional grip.
Observing Issei holding the katana, Kiba assumed he didn't know how to use it properly. Suddenly, Issei burst towards the rampaging Samael, ready to seal him away. Cao Cao, noticing him, smacked Kiba away and charged after Issei to intercept him before he could reach Samael.
Sensing Cao Cao coming towards him, Issei unsheathed his katana and smashed both katana and scabbard against True Longinus. Kiba realized that Issei held the katana in a way that allowed him to dual-wield both the katana and scabbard in both hands.
The clash between Issei and Cao Cao was intense, their weapons colliding with a resounding impact. Issei's unorthodox style, wielding the katana and its scabbard with finesse, caught Cao Cao off guard. The sheer force of their clash sent shockwaves rippling through the area, causing the ground to tremble beneath them.
Issei's eyes burned with determination as he pushed against Cao Cao, refusing to yield an inch. The Nordic runes on the katana glowed faintly, resonating with Issei's boosted abilities. He channelled his power through the weapon, aiming to overpower Cao Cao and make his way towards Samael.
Cao Cao gritted his teeth, feeling the pressure of Issei's relentless assault. He tried to counter Issei's dual-wielding technique, but his speed and adaptability proved formidable obstacles. Despite his best efforts, Cao Cao found himself gradually being pushed back.
Kiba, recovering from the earlier attack, watched in awe as Issei held his ground against Cao Cao. Kiba then remembered Issei's words on their first training day.
"Every fighter has a rhythm, a pattern in their techniques and movements," Issei explained.
"I see now, Issei, I see your rhythm. You force your opponents to dance to your tunes. If you take one step forward, you make your opponent take one step back. If you take one step back, you expect your opponents to make one step forward," Kiba pondered.
"Your main combat style is based on speed, power, and precision," he internalized Issei's fighting pattern.
Issei continued his onslaught on Cao Cao. In an instant, Issei switched hands. The katana was now in his left hand, and the scabbard was in his right. This threw Cao Cao off the rhythm he was trying to understand from Issei.
Cao Cao, thrown off balance by Issei's unexpected change in fighting style, struggled to adapt. Issei's movements became even more fluid and unpredictable, making it nearly impossible for Cao Cao to anticipate his next strike.
"Variability is the key. Keep him guessing, keep him on the defensive," Issei strategized inwardly.
Issei's dual-wielding technique became a dance of precision and power. Every swing of the katana and scabbard was calculated, designed to disrupt Cao Cao's rhythm and exploit his weaknesses. Issei's eyes glinted with determination as he pressed on, refusing to give Cao Cao a moment of respite.
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Cao Cao gritted his teeth and pushed back against Issei's onslaught. Despite his efforts, he found countering Issei's multifaceted attacks increasingly challenging. Issei's speed was unmatched, his strikes landing with deadly accuracy.
"I must strategically prompt him to employ his Wheel Treasure ability in an attempt to destroy my katana. Only then can my meticulously devised plan unfold," Issei contemplated.
After a while, Cao Cao attempted to use one of these orbs to break Issei's katana and activate his right eye to turn Issei into a complete stone since he didn't have his Scale Mail activated.
"Rias! Now!" Issei shouted, signalling to Rias to proceed with the plan he had devised.
"Alright!" she responded as she threw the nullification sword towards the Orb.
Usually, the nullification sword would be destroyed, but before the Orb could hit the sword, the nullification ability activated, disabling Cao Cao's Balance Breaker and stopping Cao Cao's right eye activation.

"Dammit!" Cao Cao shouted in frustration.
Seizing the opportunity created by the disabling of Cao Cao's Balance Breaker and eye, Issei unleashed a flurry of precise strikes, his katana slicing through the air with unparalleled speed and accuracy. Each strike aimed precisely, targeting Cao Cao's vital points, forcing him on the defensive as he struggled to keep up with the Black Dragon Emperor's furious assault.
Kiba, watching Issei's flawless execution of his combat style, felt a surge of inspiration. He realized that Issei's ability to adapt, analyze, and exploit his opponent's weaknesses made him formidable. Kiba resolved to incorporate these lessons into his own fighting style, determined to become an even stronger swordsman.
Finally, Georg got up and recovered from having his eyes ripped out by Issei, using a hidden Phoenix tear he had with him.
"Cao Cao," Georg called out.
Issei's eye narrow onto Georg as he sees his eyes were restored after Issei had ripped them out with his dagger.
"His eyes are back? How?" Issei muses, "I know a Phoenix tears can heal injuries, but I'm certain they cannot regrow organs. Did he insert his eyes back into his socket and allow them to heal? No, it can't be, those eyes were beyond repair. I'll have to ask Ravel about this" he thinks to himself while observing the phenomenon.
"How much were you able to take?" Cao Cao inquired about how much power Samael had taken from Ophis.
"More than three-quarters. I would say most of it. I won't be able to connect Samael to the present world more than this," Georg responded.
"Excellent. That's enough," Cao Cao said, clicking his fingers. Samael dispelled the Black Block and released Ophis, who fell to the ground, seemingly unconscious.
Issei used this opportunity to seal away Samael and charged towards him. Cao Cao once again intercepted him, hitting the scabbard from his hand, which flew up.
"Looks like whatever you had planned failed," Cao Cao said with a smirk.
Issei looked towards Samael and saw a large magical circle appear behind him; Georg was attempting to teleport Samael away.
"Foolish human, that's what you believe!" Issei scoffed, throwing the katana with disdain towards Samael.
The scabbard, which flung out of Issei's hand, perfectly placed itself behind Samael, almost as if Issei had allowed Cao Cao to hit it out of his hand. The katana then pierced Samael right through the torso and, with sheer luck, sheathed itself in the scabbard, falling behind Samael. The Nordic seals activated, sealing Samael into the katana, eliciting a howl of pain from the ancient being.
"No!" Cao Cao shouted in disbelief.
The katana then underwent a transformation upon sealing away Samael; it grew from 1 meter in length to 2.5 meters, transforming from a katana into an odachi. The scabbard turned charcoal black, resembling Samael's black feathery wings. The tsuba turned silver, forming an Eastern Dragon that wrapped around the sword. The tsuka became a dark gold colour. On the blade and scabbard, the kanji 堕天使竜サマエルの鎖 appears in red.

Cao Cao chased after the newly made Odachi, desperate to avoid trouble with Hades by not losing something loaned to them. However, before he could grab the sword, a portal opened up and swallowed it. Cao Cao looked back to see Issei holding the Odachi with a mocking smirk on his face. Issei tapped the sword on his shoulder, mocking Cao Cao's own gesture with his spear.

Due to Samael being a Fallen Angel, it can also make Dark Light, which can kill entities of the Dark, such as Devils, vampires, etc.

A/N: Daten-shi Ryū Samaeru no Kusari, sounds like a legitimate Zanpakuto name. I based the length of Sephiroth's Masamune, which is 6 feet (1.8m) - 8 feet (2.5m).
"Give that back!" Cao Cao demanded through gritted teeth.
"Kill yourself," Issei sneered.
Cao Cao, infuriated, turned to Georg. "Where is the power of Ophis taken by Samael supposed to be transported?"
"I made the equation during the summoning, so it will be sent to the research facility at the main headquarters, Cao Cao," Georg responded.
Ophis awoke from her unconsciousness and realized what had happened.
"My power was taken. This is what Cao Cao aimed for?" Ophis questioned.
"Yeah, that's right, Ophis. We wanted to put you underneath us and use your power. But having you do as we wish is very hard. So we changed our mind," Cao Cao explained. "We will take your power and create a new 'ouroboros.'"
Azazel, weakened, remarked, "I see! You used Samael to trim down Ophis's power and give birth to 'it' by using the power you took. The new Ophis."
"That's exactly right, Governor. We want an ouroboros that does as we command. Actually, we do need the symbol to gather strength," Cao Cao elaborated. "In that part, Ophis was excellent. She became a propaganda tool and gathered those with the strength to make a force like that. But using the Dragon God, whom we can't read what she's thinking as our puppet, isn't good."
"You talk too much," Issei hissed, materializing on the left flank of Cao Cao, deftly sidestepping the gaze of Medusa embedded in his right eye.
Cao Cao was then slammed onto the ground and repeatedly beaten senseless by Issei. Issei kicked away Cao Cao's spear, limiting his capabilities.
"Pathetic. Devoid of that pitiful spear, you're nothing more than a feeble human," Issei scoffed, denying Cao Cao any chance to utter a single word.
The others watched in horror, remembering the brutal beating Issei had given Sairaorg. Once again, they saw that side of Issei. His relentless assault continued each blow landing with a resounding impact, echoing his anger and frustration towards Cao Cao and the Hero Faction. Cao Cao, once the confident leader, now found himself utterly defenceless against the unstoppable juggernaut before him.
Issei's fists and kicks rained upon Cao Cao, his anger fueling every strike. The others watched in shock and horror, witnessing the ferocity of Issei's attacks. The once composed and cunning leader of the Hero Faction was now a broken and battered man, unable to defend himself against the overwhelming power of the enraged Dragon Emperor.
Issei's eyes glowed with anger and determination, his fists fueled by the desire for justice and revenge. His blows striking Cao Cao's body echoed through the lobby, sending shivers down the spines of everyone present.
Azazel, weakened from the battle, watched in awe at Issei's display of power. He had seen Issei's growth over the months, witnessed his determination, and now, he was witnessing the true extent of his strength. Issei's fists were not just striking Cao Cao; they were striking down the ideology and arrogance of the Hero Faction.
Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, and the others were torn between the shock of Issei's brutality and the understanding that Cao Cao and his faction had brought this upon themselves.
Georg, finally gaining control of his magic after meddling with Issei's dagger, unleashed a barrage of spells towards Issei. Engrossed in beating up Cao Cao, Issei had no time to react and was sent flying off Cao Cao. Georg rushed to Cao Cao's side and picked him up, preparing a magic circle to teleport themselves out of the Dimension.
Issei got up from the attack and saw Cao Cao and Georg beginning to retreat, seeing this pissed him off immensely.
"Cao Cao, you bitch made fa*ot! Initiating a fight only to scurry away when faced with defeat. Just as you did in Kyoto! A self-proclaimed hero, utterly worthless," Issei scoffed with disdain.
"This isn't over, Black Dragon Emperor!" Cao Cao muttered despite his broken body.
"Your pitiful existence is on borrowed time! The next encounter we share shall be your death, met with an exquisite display of the most brutal death one can fathom!" Issei declared.
"Georg, call the groups of Grim Reapers. Hades is after the weakened Ophis. Also, the swapping transportation was done by the guys from the Vali team before. Can you try that? Can you transport me and swap me with Siegfried? I will leave the rest to Siegfried," Cao Cao weakly instructed.
"I only saw it once, so I won't know if it will work smoothly. But I will try it," Georg replied.
"Very well. Let's play a game: Vali team and Gremory team. Soon, a group of Grim Reapers will be coming here on Hades's orders to retrieve the weakened Ophis over there. I will also have Siegfried from my team participate in it as well. The key point of this game is whether or not all of you can get out of here safely. We won't know what will happen when Hades captures Ophis. Now, can you get out of here while protecting Ophis with your lives? Please challenge it. I want the Two-Heavenly Dragons to survive, but I have no intention of enforcing it on the Grim Reapers and my comrades. I think it is more suitable to fight those who overcome a crisis," Cao Cao explained before both he and Georg disappeared into a magic circle. Issei who had been rushing towards them, missed by a hair's length as he was able to grab Cao Cao's collar. In his hand was part of Cao Cao's shirt which he had grabbed before he got teleported.
"Shit! They got away!" Issei muttered in frustration, throwing the piece of cloth out of his hand.
Rias approached Issei and put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay; we'll get them next time," she said in a comforting voice.
"You're damn right I will," Issei replied as he shrugged off Rias's hand and walked over to Azazel, seemingly dismissing Rias's attempt to comfort him.
Issei then lifted the injured Azazel and started to carry him to the top floor.
"Kiba, pick up Vali, Koneko, pick up Kuroka, and Irina, pick up Xenovia. Follow me. We aren't out of the woods yet. And I'll be in decommission for a while for using those experimental nanites to get rid of Samael's poison," Issei explained to Kiba, Koneko, and Irina, referring to the group of Grim Reapers, who would soon appear to attack and kill the group.
Kiba nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the situation. He gently lifted Vali, still recovering from the battle. Simultaneously, Koneko carefully picked up Kuroka, who was also significantly injured despite Asia healing her. Irina picked up Xenovia, who remained unconscious despite being fully healed. The group followed Issei, their steps determined despite their injuries and exhaustion. As they made their way to the top floor of the hotel, they knew another battle was imminent.
X
After reaching the top floor, Kiba and Issei placed Vali and Azazel in the same room on separate beds, while Koneko put Kuroka in a different room. Irina set Xenovia in the same room as Kuroka.
Issei, though weakened from his previous ordeal, remained resolute. His mind was already formulating strategies to face the incoming threat. The experimental nanites he had used to counteract Samael's poison had taken a toll on him, but he pushed through the pain, his determination unwavering.
Upon reaching the top floor, Issei instructed everyone to be on high alert. They knew that the Grim Reapers and Siegfried, under Cao Cao's orders, would be coming for Ophis. The tension in the air was palpable as they prepared for the next battle. He looked around at the people currently able to fight: Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Irina, Kiba, Asia, Ravel, and Le Fay. Ophis seemed to be looking at her hands in the corner, seemingly lost in her thoughts.
Issei's gaze shifted from one team member to another, his eyes reflecting his unwavering determination and the weight of responsibility he felt for everyone's safety. His mind raced, considering various scenarios and strategies to face the Grim Reapers and Siegfried.
"Listen up, everyone. We can't afford to let our guard down. The Grim Reapers and Siegfried will be here soon, and we need to be prepared for anything. Ophis, stay close to us. We'll protect you," he said, his voice firm and commanding.
Ophis nodded, her expression unreadable, but there was a flicker of gratitude in her eyes. She understood their peril and appreciated the Gremory team's willingness to defend her despite the danger.
Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, Irina, and Le Fay stood beside Issei, their resolve matching his own. They were ready to face whatever came their way, their faith in Issei's leadership unshaken.
"Issei is right. We stick together and watch each other's backs. We've faced countless challenges before, and we'll overcome this one, too," Rias said, her tone filled with determination.
"We won't let anyone harm Ophis or anyone else. We'll fight with everything we have," Akeno added, her hands crackling with lightning, ready for battle.
"I'll cover the front line. Let them come; I won't let them pass," Kiba declared, his swords ready.
"I'll be by Kiba's side, guarding our rear. No one will get past us," Koneko said, her eyes narrowed with determination.
"And I'll provide support from a distance. My light-based attacks will keep them at bay," Irina said.
"I can create barriers and traps to slow them down. I'll do my best to buy us time," Le Fay said, her fingers twitching as she prepared her magic.
Asia, though unable to fight due to her healing abilities being sealed, stood beside them, "I'll continue to heal the others," she said, her voice filled with worry.
Rias, Akeno, and the rest of the team gathered around Issei, their expressions reflecting concern and confidence. Despite their challenges, they trusted in Issei's leadership and strength.
Akeno noticed Issei's eyes being somewhat droopy as if he was struggling to keep them open. She remembered him saying that he would be out of commission for a while due to the experimental nanites he injected into his body to purge Samael's Poison.
"Issei, you've done more than enough. Let us handle the upcoming battle. You need to rest and recover," she added, her concern evident.
"Just give me a couple of minutes; I'll be fine," he said as he made his way to a room separate from the rest.
The room fell silent, tension hanging thick in the air. The battle was about to begin anew, and they were ready to face whatever challenges came their way, united in their determination to protect their world and those they cared for.
Akeno exchanged a worried glance with Rias, but Issei's determination was evident in his eyes. He needed those moments alone, perhaps to gather his strength or devise a plan. With a reluctant nod, Akeno stepped back, allowing him the space he sought.
Issei entered the room, closing the door behind him. Alone, he took a deep breath, trying to shake off the exhaustion that threatened to overwhelm him. His body was weary, and his mind was clouded, but his spirit remained unyielding.
In the quiet room, Issei reached deep within himself, drawing strength from his unwavering resolve. He knew their risks and dangers but couldn't afford to falter.
"My life has taken an eventful turn lately; just last week, I found myself facing off against Loki, and now today... I'm determined to wrap things up swiftly here and head straight to Asgard to catch up with Rossweisse and Astrid," he stated with a focused tone, his voice projecting confidence despite the hushed delivery.
Outside the room, Akeno, Rias, and the others waited patiently; their concern for Issei was evident in their expressions.
"He's not giving up," Akeno said, her voice filled with conviction. "Let's trust in him. Issei has faced impossible odds before and emerged victorious. We believe in him, just like he believes in us."
Rias nodded, her eyes reflecting unwavering faith in their leader and lover. The rest of the team shared a determined glance, their confidence in Issei unshaken.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Issei's mind raced with thoughts of strategy and counterattacks. He knew he couldn't face the upcoming battle head-on in his current state, so he needed to devise a plan to give them an edge.
Issei lay on the bed, allowing himself to rest for a moment.
"I hope this isn't one of those naps where I plan for only 5 minutes, only for 5 hours to pass," he muttered to himself as unconsciousness took him away.
