Moments earlier, Issei found himself seated in a commanding chair, overseeing the diligent efforts of his soul-bound entities as they executed various tasks. He assumed a dictatorial role, monitoring their every move. Abruptly, a notification from the system disrupted his contemplation.
[Temporary Player has been found]
Upon reading the message, Issei's mind raced with the revelation. "Temporary player?! Does this mean someone else has the system?" He thought, a mix of shock and slight panic evident in his contemplation.
Remembering Loki was gifted the system to escape the sealing which was put in only to become a pain in the ass later on. Ever since Issei learned the system would go to anyone to test him, he had been on guard. From his relaxed position on his chair, he sits up and leans forward, solely focused on the new development.
[Temporary Player Identified: Yuuto Kiba]
Issei voiced his confusion, "Kiba? How does he-" but his query was interrupted by yet another notification.
[Awaiting your approval]
"Is he waiting for my approval? Does that imply he requires my authorisation to access the system? It wasn't the same scenario when Loki got the system; why the change now?" Issei pondered aloud.
[Would you like to see Yuuto Kiba's memories?]
[Yes] [No]
"See his memories? Sure," Issei affirmed as he selected the 'yes' option.
In that instant, Issei delved into everything Kiba experienced after leaving his dimension. He witnessed the havoc caused by the Bandersnatchs and the Jabberwocky in the Underworld. The chaos unfolded, with servants of High-Class Devils rebelling and members of the Old Satan Faction launching attacks. He learned of Ajuka Belzeebub's Kankara Formula, a concept that intrigued him. Ajuka's analysis of Issei's former chess pieces revealed that Issei's essence had corrupted them, but they could be harnessed to enhance their strength. Issei observed Kiba's brutal encounter with Siegfried, who used a doping drug to amplify his sacred gear's abilities, transforming into a monstrous entity. Witnessing Kiba's near-death experience and Rias throwing him a former pawn piece, Issei seethed with irritation.
"I'll make sure to take those Pawn Pieces from Rias when this is all over," he declared, annoyance evident in his tone.
"Although, I might be able to do something interesting," Issei mused with a smirk.
[Temporary System Approval]
[Approve] [Disapprove]
Issei opted for approval and was instantly transported to the location where Kiba currently found himself.
X
Kiba found himself transported to an entirely unfamiliar location. One moment, he was engaged in a battle with Siegfried, absorbing Issei's pawn piece; the next, he was strolling down a dimly lit corridor. The passageway was constructed from aged bricks and adorned with red flame torches on either side of the wall.
Advancing toward the corridor's end, Kiba discovered a throne-like room awaiting him. At its centre lay a towering stack of skeletons of various kinds, crowned by a regal throne chair. The room was illuminated by torches, revealing someone seated arrogantly on the throne. Despite the obscured features in the dark ambience, Kiba could discern a pair of glowing red eyes. Without hesitation, he recognised the eyes as belonging to Issei.
Issei's cold voice echoed through the room, "To think you would struggle against this mongrel, to need more power to defeat this drugged-up junkie despite the training I gave you. How disappointing," he remarked from the throne.
Kiba's eyes widened in shock as he identified Issei's voice. The atmosphere in the throne room became oppressive, and Issei's disappointment weighed heavily on Kiba's shoulders.
Suddenly, the torches began extinguishing one by one, plunging the room into increasing darkness. It reached a point where only Issei's glowing red eyes remained the sole light source, creating an even more ominous atmosphere. Issei closed his eyes, extinguishing the glow, and unnerved Kiba with the sudden darkness. Then, the same red eyes appeared a meter before him, materialising out of nowhere and creating a horror movie-like scene. Kiba swore he could hear a piano key drop and an eerie violin sound in the background. Fear gripped him, and the atmosphere felt like a descent into a terrifying cinematic experience.
"Now, Kiba, watch. Watch how I use this body.", Issei declared menacingly.
Suddenly, Issei's silhouette expanded, enveloping Kiba entirely and swallowing him within. An overwhelming force surrounded Kiba as if his very essence was being devoured by the encroaching darkness. Panic and fear seized him, losing control over his own body. He could sense Issei's presence not just as a spectator but as an intruder in his very soul.
"I'll show you how it's done. How to wield the power you've been given," Issei's low and menacing tone echoed in Kiba's mind, sending shivers down his spine.
X
Upon opening his eyes, Issei sensed the ravages inflicted upon his borrowed vessel, with blood covering every inch of the body. Surveying the significant wounds – gaping holes in the thighs and a missing left arm – Issei acknowledged the severity of the damage. Despite the impropriety of examining the body that currently belonged to Kiba, Issei relegated Kiba to the background, seizing control.

Examining the stats displayed for Kiba's current state, Issei mused, "His stats exceed mine in my base state; not much I can do with it."
Gazing upwards, Issei confronted Siegfried in his monstrous form, the latter grinning with madness, seemingly confident of an easy victory. Attempting to employ observation on Siegfried to analyse his stats and discern the level disparity, Issei found himself unable to access any of his unique abilities in Kiba's borrowed body.
"This is what it meant by 'pseudo system.' It's not as refined as my own. It's more reminiscent of the system when I first got it; the system evolved to fit my needs," Issei contemplated, recognising the limitations of the system within Kiba's frame.
Issei directed his attention to the primary concern at hand – the injuries. Unlike Issei, Kiba lacked any form of regeneration. However, Issei's own regenerative abilities weren't as advanced as the Phenex Clan's; he could only regenerate appendages like fingers, reattaching severed limbs and swiftly healing broken bones, cuts, bruises, and burns. Faced with the need for a solution to mend Kiba's body, Issei turned his thoughts towards Kiba's sacred gear, Sword Birth.
"Sword Birth always allows the user to create a variety of swords of all kinds, whether that be the type of sword, the sword effect, or the size of the sword. I wonder..." Issei pondered.
Putting his idea into action, Issei employed Sword Birth on the wounds on Kiba's thighs. Thousands of microscopic swords manifested within the wounds, serving as sewing needles to close the gaps, reconnecting skin, flesh, and nerves. As feeling returned to his legs, Issei rose to his feet, fixating a blank stare on Siegfried.
Amid this, Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko arrived to witness Kiba emerging from the wounds, seemingly unfazed. Unaware that the person they observed was Issei, who had taken control of Kiba through the absorption of Issei's former pawn piece, they stood in awe. Asia, intending to use her Twilight Healing to aid Kiba, was shocked to see that his wounds had healed on their own.
Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko stood, a mixture of shock and relief coursing through them as they witnessed Kiba seemingly recover from his severe injuries. Unaware of the possession that had taken place, they exchanged uncertain glances, grappling with the mystery of how Kiba could have healed so swiftly.
Unseen by the girls, Siegfried perceived a vastly different reality. In his eyes, behind Kiba appeared a silhouette of a Black Demon with glowing red eyes, strings attached from its sharp fingers to Kiba's limbs, manipulating his body like a marionette puppet. A sense of dread overwhelmed Siegfried, and even his Demonic Sword Gram seemed to pull away from him as if it had found a more worthy wielder. On impulse, Siegfried swung Gram down onto Kiba, kicking up dust and spreading chaos in the garden.
The girls' eyes widened in shock and horror as they collectively shouted, "Kiba!"
As the dust settled, their anxious gaze focused on the point where Kiba and Siegfried clashed. To their astonishment, Kiba vanished and reappeared a few meters away from the impact, moving at blinding speeds. He seemed unharmed, holding onto his left arm that Siegfried had earlier severed. However, a subtle change occurred in Kiba's demeanour. His eyes glowed with an eerie red light, and an aura of malevolence surrounded him.
Rias, observing Kiba's altered expression, noted the stark difference from his usual gentle and soft demeanour. His unbothered and uncaring gaze resembled that of another person she knew well – Issei.
Issei examined his severed arm, repositioning it to its original location. Once again, he employed Sword Birth to meticulously stitch up the wounds and seamlessly reattach the arm. Microscopic swords acted as needles, intertwining skin, flesh, nerves, blood vessels, cartilage, and bones to restore the arm completely.
"Because the swords are the microscopic needles, there won't be a noticeable scar on his body, not that it matters due to how pale he is," Issei mused, observing the seamless reattachment of Kiba's arm.
Although the arm was fully reattached, it hung lifelessly due to a lack of sufficient blood. However, after a few seconds, Issei gradually moved his fingers and, eventually, the entire arm as if it had never been severed.
Contemplating Kiba's body, Issei thought, "His body is much lighter and shorter than mine, meaning I won't have much power behind my attacks, and the reach of attacks is significantly limited."
Seeing the changes in Kiba, Siegfried voiced his concern and fear, "You're different; what happened to you? Since you absorbed that chess piece, you've been different."
Maintaining Kiba's appearance, Issei turned his gaze towards Siegfried, his eyes piercing through the demonic warrior with an unsettling intensity. The malevolent aura surrounding Kiba intensified as he spoke, his voice carrying an eerie resonance.
"Oh, you Mongrel, you have no idea," Issei responded, a wicked smirk gracing Kiba's lips.
More cautious than ever, Siegfried tightened his grip on his swords, sensing that whatever had taken control of Kiba was far more formidable than he initially assumed.
Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko stood frozen in shock and uncertainty. The visage before them resembled Kiba, yet the energy emanating from him was undeniably different.
Issei unleashed Sword Birth, causing a row of swords to surge rapidly from the ground, hurtling towards Siegfried.
The barrage of swords, conjured by Issei, advanced towards Siegfried with lethal precision. The possessed Kiba moved with fluidity and calculation, manipulating the blades with an otherworldly finesse.
Recognising the imminent danger, Siegfried skillfully maneuvered between the oncoming blades, parrying and dodging with a blend of skill and desperation. The resounding clash of metal echoed through the battlefield as Siegfried fought fiercely to stave off the relentless assault.
Issei, revelling in the chaos he had orchestrated, observed with dark amusement as Siegfried struggled to match the newfound power of the possessed Kiba. The eerie red glow in Kiba's eyes intensified, casting an ominous shadow on the unfolding scene.
As the swords closed in, Siegfried's movements became more erratic. He summoned his Demonic Sword Balmung, the enchanted blade faintly glowing as he channelled demonic energy into it. With a swift motion, Siegfried swung Balmung in a wide arc, creating a barrier of wind that intercepted the approaching swords.
The clash between Sword Birth and Balmung's wind barrier created a dazzling spectacle of lights and sparks, filling the air with palpable tension. Reacting swiftly, Siegfried employed Dáinsleif to conjure a field of ice aimed at Issei with a powerful swing.
Maintaining control over Kiba's body, Issei anticipated Siegfried's countermove. With a deft motion, he commanded Sword Birth to create a sword specialised for fire, a swirling vortex of flames that melted the oncoming ice before it could reach him. Steam billowed through the air, creating a battleground with the clash of elements.
Now realising the extent of the possessed Kiba's abilities, Siegfried gritted his teeth. "What kind of power is this? You're not the Kiba I faced before!"
Ignoring Siegfried's words, Issei delved deeper into the potential of the Sword Birth Sacred Gear.
"Now, it's time to turn it up a notch," Issei declared internally.
Utilising Sword Birth once more, Issei forged an entirely new sword – a hand cleaver. Moving at blinding speed, he blitzed towards Siegfried and struck him in the arm that held the Dáinsleif demonic sword.
To Siegfried's dark amusement, the sword did nothing upon contact, and he chuckled mockingly at Issei's failed attack. Unbeknownst to him, a bull's eye had appeared on the section where Issei had struck him.
Oblivious to the impending danger, Siegfried continued to mock Issei. However, as soon as the bull's eye manifested, Issei struck the arm at the same spot once again. This time, Siegfried's entire arm was severed, causing Dáinsleif to fall to the ground.
Siegfried let out a howl of pain as Issei vanished, reappearing at a certain distance with blinding speed, and took Dáinsleif with him.
Looking down at the cleaver in his hand, Issei recalled the intricacies he had considered when creating this sword.
"I wanted to create a sword that was similar to one of my own; this sword is a two-hit attack. The first attack creates an opening, that being a bull's eye. And the second attack, where I hit the newly made bull's eye, allows for maximum damage. Depending on where I hit on the bull's eye, it will determine the damage multiplier," he thought as he dropped both the cleaver and Dáinsleif to the ground.
As Siegfried clutched his severed arm in pain, Issei stood at a distance. The air crackled with the malevolent energy he now controlled. The possessed Kiba's eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, reflecting the power he had harnessed through Sword Birth and the chess piece.
Siegfried, now missing an arm and struggling to regain composure, glared at Kiba with a mixture of defiance and fury. "You may have taken my arm, but you won't take my pride!"
Still maintaining Kiba's appearance, Issei smirked at Siegfried's defiant words. The possessed Kiba casually picked up Dáinsleif from the ground, twirling it skillfully in his hand.
"Pride is a funny thing, Siegfried. Only the strong and powerful have the right to have 'pride'. When the weak try and take on 'pride', it's just an inflated ego," Issei responded, his voice carrying a cold, confident edge.
Undeterred, Siegfried unleashed another burst of demonic energy, attempting to compensate for his lost arm. However, Issei's newfound power and the deceptive nature of the cleaver left him at a disadvantage.
As Siegfried launched an attack, Issei effortlessly dodged, displaying an agility and finesse that surpassed Kiba's usual capabilities. Striking Siegfried's chest with a swift counterattack, Issei left a deep gash frozen with demonic energy.
Staggering backward, Siegfried grappled with pain and frustration. Issei revelled in his dominance, continuing to exploit the capabilities of Kiba's body. The possessed Kiba's movements were calculated, each strike landing with precision.
In response, Siegfried swung down Gram to hit the possessed Kiba, only to find himself striking empty air due to the speed at which Issei was moving Kiba's body. They reappeared a few distances away from Siegfried.
Issei strategised internally, "I'm still trying to get used to this body, so I can only employ a hit-and-run tactic."
Observing the demonic sword Gram in Siegfried's hands, Issei noted that it seemed less potent than before.
"What's wrong with that sword? Gram? It's not as potent as before. Gram does choose its wielder, so does that mean it's rejecting Siegfried in favour of me?" he contemplated.
Once again, Issei utilised Sword Birth to create a new weapon, this time fashioning a gold dagger.
"This dagger is one blade but will cut a thousand times with one swing," Issei murmured to himself as he rushed toward Siegfried's right side, where Gram was currently wielded.
Issei aimed to capitalise on the advantage of Gram rejecting its current wielder, intending to create an opening to sever more arms from Siegfried. Anticipating Siegfried's horizontal swing, Issei responded by launching Kiba upwards, using Gram as a stepping stone, and slashing the dagger across the arm that held Tyring.
As Issei crafted the dagger, it didn't deliver just one slice but a relentless onslaught of one thousand slashes across Siegfried's arm. The enchanted dagger, manipulated by Issei's control, damaged the arm significantly, causing Siegfried to lose his grip on Tyrfing, which Issei swiftly grabbed in his other hand.
Siegfried roared in pain as the enchanted dagger continued its assault, ravaging his arm. The demonic energy flowing through Tyrfing now fell under Issei's control, enhancing the possessed Kiba's attacks.
With calculated precision, Issei spun around, slashing Tyrfing across Siegfried's torso. The demonic sword cut through the armour and tough skin, leaving a series of deep gashes. The once-proud warrior now stood battered and vulnerable.
Issei then retreated to the Dáinsleif sword he had taken from Siegfried earlier, having acquired 2 out of 5 swords and planning to take more.
"It's like taking candy from a baby. I won't take Gram just yet; I need him to feel a false sense of security when wielding Gram. I'll slowly but surely take this other sword before I finally take Gram," Issei strategised.
Siegfried, battered and seething with anger, clutched the wounds on his torso. The once-proud warrior, accustomed to triumphs in numerous battles, now faced defeat at the hands of the possessed Kiba.
Maintaining the charade, Issei casually twirled Tyrfing and Dáinsleif in his hands. The intensified aura of malevolence surrounded him as he prepared for the next phase of his calculated assault.
Siegfried, his pride wounded more than his body, bared his teeth in defiance. "You may have taken both my arms and my swords, but I won't yield to the likes of you!" he declared with fierce determination.
Issei, still in Kiba's appearance, chuckled darkly. "Your stubbornness is admirable, Siegfried. But let's see how much longer you can hold onto that pride of yours."
Issei then pressed towards Siegfried again, this time targeting his left side that held the other swords. As Siegfried swung down Nothung, creating a giant cut in the ground and rushing towards Issei, Issei once again employed Sword Birth to create a short sword.
Issei swung the new sword at the rushing slice created by Nothung. Instantly, the slice was reflected and doubled in speed and power, completely slicing off another of Siegfried's arms, making Nothung fall out of his grasp and land near Issei.
Siegfried let out a blood-curdling scream as pain registered in his body. Issei picked up Nothung and cut off the last hand on the left side, taking the second-to-last Demonic Sword, Balmung, away.
"Like dissecting an insect," Issei said coldly through Kiba's body, letting out a dark smirk that the other girls noticed.
The four girls watched in horror as the possessed Kiba, under Issei's control, systematically disarmed Siegfried. Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko were gripped by shock, disbelief, and fear as they witnessed the transformation of their friend into an embodiment of malevolence.
Issei threw the demonic swords at the other ones he took earlier, and they got stabbed into the nearby tree. In a desperate attempt, Siegfried tried to swing his last remaining sword, Gram, at Issei, but once again, Issei flashed away.
Issei contemplated, "Gram is the demonic sword that can cut through. Is that a physical trait or an ability? Most likely an ability, as Siegfried said, this sword could only be used in his physical arm rather than his Twice Critical arm, as the dragon aspect of Twice Critical will interfere with the usage of Gram. That means I need to create a sword that will nullify the aura around Gram, effectively taking away its cutting ability," he thought.
Issei closed his eyes and concentrated.
"Trace... on!" he exclaimed aloud.
A big black sword that could nullify aura and negate magic materialised in his mind. When Issei opened his eyes, a new sword was created in Kiba's hand; instantly, he felt the very magic within him disappear.
"As expected of an Anti-Magic Sword, it's draining the magic from Kiba's body. I need to act quickly," he noted.
Wielding the Anti-Magic Sword, Issei closed in on Siegfried with determined speed. Siegfried, holding Gram defensively, braced himself for the impending clash. The possessed Kiba's eyes glowed with a malevolent intensity as the air crackled with the opposing forces of demonic and anti-magic energy.
With a swift motion, Issei swung the Anti-Magic Sword towards Gram. The clash of the two enchanted blades created a shockwave that rippled through the surroundings. Siegfried, feeling the draining effect of the Anti-Magic Sword on Gram's aura, struggled to maintain his defensive stance.
Issei, seizing the opportunity, pressed on with relentless determination. The possessed Kiba's movements were calculated and precise, exploiting the draining effect of the Anti-Magic Sword to weaken Gram's magical properties. With each clash, Siegfried felt the strength of Gram diminishing.
Siegfried, realising the threat posed by the Anti-Magic Sword, gritted his teeth. "What kind of sword is this? It's nullifying Gram's power!"
Issei, maintaining Kiba's appearance, smirked coldly. "This is an Anti-Magic Sword. It drains and negates magical properties. Your Gram won't be cutting through anything anymore."
As the clash continued, Siegfried found himself pushed to the brink. The once-mighty Gram, weakened by the draining effect, struggled against the Anti-Magic Sword. The aura surrounding Gram flickered, and cracks appeared on its once-impenetrable surface.
Sensing the opportunity to end the battle, Issei unleashed a flurry of strikes. Each swing of the Anti-Magic Sword further drained the magical essence from Gram, rendering it powerless. Siegfried, left with a weakened and aura-less sword, could no longer withstand the assault.
With a final, decisive blow, Issei disarmed Siegfried. Gram fell to the ground, its once-formidable aura extinguished. The possessed Kiba stood over the fallen warrior, the Anti-Magic Sword poised for the finishing strike.
Siegfried, battered and defeated, looked up at the malevolent eyes of the possessed Kiba. The draining effect of the Anti-Magic Sword left him weakened and vulnerable.
Feeling the drain from the Anti-Sword on Kiba's body, Issei threw it aside.
Issei contemplated, "This Sword Birth Sacred Gear, it's very potent. Everyone, including Azazel, assumed it was based on the wielder's imagination, but they were wrong; it's based on the intellect of the wielder. This is proven by having Kiba's intelligence stat boosted by my pawn pieces," he thought while breathing heavily from the strain of the Anti-Magic Sword.
Then, a dark smile appeared on Kiba's face, reflecting Issei's thoughts.
"A power this potent in the hands of a fool, a fool held back by the idea of selfless honour! This is probably what everyone else thought when they found out the Boosted Gear was in the hands of a pervert! How ironic!" he sneered internally.
Suddenly, a notification popped up in front of Issei's face.
[Sacred Gear: Sword Birth, has reached its "LIMIT BREAKER" State]
Issei thought, "Limit Breaker state?! What does that even mean? Does it mean that there is a power even above Balance Breaker? If that is the case, then why haven't I unlocked it for my own Boosted Gear?" he thought with shock.
Issei pondered, "Perhaps because Sword Birth is a normal sacred gear, the requirements to achieve the Limit Breaker state are lower than one for a Longinus. Similar to the activation energy of a chemical reaction," he pondered.
As Issei contemplated the unexpected revelation of Sword Birth entering its "LIMIT BREAKER" state, a surge of energy enveloped the possessed Kiba. The malevolent aura intensified, and the draining effect of the Anti-Magic Sword ceased, leaving Kiba's body free from its constriction.
Issei then looked down at the fallen Siegfried, who had only one sword left: a Holy Light Sword. Nothing special compared to the other five he was wielding.
Issei thought, "Let's test out this new Limit Breaker," as he closed his eyes and pictured another sword. This time, he focused on the intricacies of the sword.
Issei said out loud, "Trace... on!"
Opening his eyes, he saw a large, single-blade Great Sword. A rocket booster on the blunt end of this Great Sword allowed the user to swing the sword with much more force and momentum.
Issei picked up the giant sword, but compared to Kiba, it was much taller and broader than him. He walked over to Siegfried, who was still attempting to get up from the damage the Anti-Magic Sword had done. When Siegfried saw the weapon in Kiba's hand, his eyes widened in horror.
Siegfried muttered, "What kind of... what kind of sword is that?"
Kiba's face remained cold, almost as if looking at Siegfried like he was insignificant. His only purpose was to be a testing dummy.
Using Kiba's voice, Issei said coldly, "You'll see."
Issei then activated the booster; the sword spat an enormous flame, propelling the sword forward. He rushed forward and slashed the sword upward, sending Siegfried's monstrous body into the air, seemingly sending him higher and higher until he started falling downwards.
At this time, Issei started to do a chant.
I am the Bone of my Sword
Steel is my Body and Fire is my Blood.
I have created over a Thousand Blades,
Unknown to Death,
Nor known to Life.
Have withstood Pain to create many Weapons
Yet those Hands will never hold Anything.
So, as I Pray-
UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS
With the completion of the chant, the ethereal realm materialised, revealing countless swords suspended in the air. Issei, now fully immersed in the power of Sword Birth's Limit Breaker state, stood at the centre, the colossal Great Sword in hand, surrounded by the manifestation of a boundless armoury.
Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko watched in astonishment as Issei unleashed the true potential of Sword Birth's Limit Breaker. Still in the air from the earlier boost and slash, Siegfried observed the mystic realm unfolding before him, stunned and terrified.
Issei, now in control of Unlimited Blade Works, moved with otherworldly grace, selecting blades from the floating arsenal that represented Sword Birth's capabilities. The air resonated with the hum of thousands of blades as Issei orchestrated the symphony of weapons.
"This is the true power of Sword Birth, the manifestation of a limitless armoury," Issei thought.
He hurled a barrage of blades towards Siegfried, each carrying the weight of Sword Birth's Limit Breaker state. Blades of all shapes and sizes rained down upon Siegfried, creating a dazzling display within Unlimited Blade Works.
Attempting to summon a defensive barrier with the Holy Light Sword, Siegfried was overwhelmed by the sheer number and diversity of incoming blades. The relentless assault continued, each strike infused with unprecedented potency.
The weapons struck Siegfried from all angles, creating a dazzling display of lights and spark within the ethereal realm of Unlimited Blade Works. Each blade carried the weight of Sword Birth's Limit Breaker state, making the assault relentless and formidable.
As Siegfried endured the onslaught, Issei remained at the centre of the storm, orchestrating the symphony of blades with a cold and calculating demeanour. The possessed Kiba's eyes glowed with the intensity of the unleashed power, and the malevolent aura surrounding him reached its zenith.
Realising the inevitability of the onslaught, Siegfried was repeatedly stabbed and sliced, becoming a human pin cushion. Issei picked up Gram, leapt into the air, and powered up the sword's aura with the magical energy in Kiba's body.
Gram radiated a red aura as Issei closed in on Siegfried. Unnaturally moving Kiba's body, he cut Siegfried down; the last thing Siegfried saw was Kiba's glowing red eyes and the familiar sword.
Siegfried's body was instantly split in half vertically, and the world of Unlimited Blade Works, along with the created swords, disappeared. The lifeless halves of Siegfried's body fell to the ground, finally released from suspended animation.
Holding Gram, the possessed Kiba descended gracefully, the malevolent aura gradually dissipating. Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko were struck by shock and disbelief at the ruthless efficiency with which Siegfried had been defeated.
The atmosphere remained heavy as Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko processed the shocking revelation and Issei's stern response. Issei, still wearing Kiba's appearance, stood beside the lifeless bodies of Siegfried, the giant Great Sword and Gram, serving as symbols of the overwhelming power he had harnessed through Sword Birth's Limit Breaker state.
Rias, attempting to understand the situation, stepped forward with a mixture of awe and concern evident in her voice. "Kiba, what... what happened? That power, it's unlike anything we've seen before."
Issei corrected sternly, the intensity in Kiba's eyes matching the firmness in Issei's voice. The revelation sent a shiver down the spines of the onlooking girls, who now faced the unsettling truth.
"I'm not Kiba," Issei responded with a firmness that emphasised the gravity of the situation.
Rias hesitated, her concern evident. "Issei...?" she questioned, seeking confirmation.
"Yeah," Issei replied nonchalantly, further deepening the astonishment of the girls.
The exchange of glances among the girls reflected their struggle to comprehend the shocking turn of events.
Rias, her concern growing, asked, "How? And where is Kiba?"
Issei explained matter-of-factly, "When you made Kiba absorb my former chess piece, it gave me the go-ahead to take over his body and fight for him. As you know, if I hadn't intervened, Siegfried would've most likely killed Kiba. As for Kiba, he's currently sleeping. It's like demonic possession."
The revelation left Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko staring at Issei with astonishment and concern. Issei's explanation of taking over Kiba's body to save him from Siegfried's deadly assault raised numerous questions and left the girls grappling with the extraordinary and unsettling nature of the situation.
Attempting to comprehend the situation, Rias questioned further, "So, you're saying that you're controlling Kiba's body right now? How is that even possible?"
Issei, still wearing Kiba's appearance, shrugged indifferently. "Magic, supernatural chess pieces, and a touch of demonic possession. It's a concoction of various factors that led to this. I needed to step in to ensure Kiba's survival."
Akeno, with a thoughtful expression, asked the critical question, "Will Kiba be alright?"
Issei explained, "I possess a distinctive power coursing through me, as Ajuka has already informed you. My body is specifically designed to endure this exceptional power. The same cannot be said for Kiba; once I return to my body, Kiba will return, but the repercussions of my presence in his body could pose life-threatening challenges for him."
The revelation sent a chill down the spines of the girls as they realised the potential dangers Kiba might face.
Rias, emotional and desperate for answers, cried out, "If you knew that this was a possibility, then why did you do it?!"
Issei responded in an annoyed and irritated tone, "Don't you dare pin this on me; you were the one who decided to use my former pawn pieces as a means for a power boost. You didn't even consult me first before doing such a stupid stunt; instead, you went behind my back and had the pieces analysed the moment you learned you got a power boost from it without asking for my approval. Would you have preferred for Kiba to be killed by Siegfried instead?"
Rias, taken aback by Issei's stern response, found herself momentarily at a loss for words. The weight of the situation hung heavily in the air as Issei continued to wear Kiba's appearance, emphasising the gravity of the decision that had led to this complex predicament.
Asia's concern deepened as she asked, "Is there no other way to mitigate the risks for Kiba? Can't we find a solution?"
Issei adopted a more composed demeanour as he looked at the group. "Well, there is a chance for you to save Kiba, but I can't guarantee his survival."
Despite lingering guilt, Rias seized upon the glimmer of hope that Issei's words offered. "Tell us, Issei. We'll do whatever it takes to save Kiba."
Issei explained, "The moment I leave Kiba's body, the effects will take place instantly; one of you will need to go inside and ask Ajuka for all the Phoenix Tears he can muster, and Asia, you need to work overtime with your Twilight Healing."
Determined to save Kiba, Rias nodded in agreement. "I'll go to Ajuka immediately and make sure we have everything we need. Asia, be ready to assist Kiba when the time comes."
Asia, though anxious, responded with a firm nod. "I'll do my best, Rias. We can't let anything happen to Kiba."
Still in Kiba's body, Issei said, "Remember, there are no guarantees. We're treading into unknown territory here. But if we act swiftly, we might just have a chance to bring Kiba back."
With a collective sense of urgency, the group dispersed to fulfil their assigned tasks. Rias headed towards Ajuka's location while Asia prepared herself for the critical healing process that awaited Kiba.
In Ajuka's presence, Rias urgently stated, "Ajuka, we need your help. Kiba is in a life-threatening situation."
Ajuka responded casually, "Oh? What did you all get yourselves into this time?"
Issei, still using Kiba's appearance, explained the situation briefly. Ajuka, finally looking up, examined Kiba's body and the intricate blend of demonic and supernatural energies at play.
Ajuka said, "Interesting. You've put Kiba in quite the predicament, Issei."
Issei retorted, "Enough with the commentary. Can you help him or not?"
After a moment of contemplation, Ajuka nodded. "I can provide Phoenix Tears, but their effectiveness depends on the severity of the consequences. Asia, you'll need to work swiftly and efficiently with your healing abilities."
Asia, determined and focused, nodded in response. Ajuka then handed over two vials of potent Phoenix Tears to her.
Ajuka stated, "Use these judiciously. It's not every day I'm asked to fix the aftermath of such experiments."
As Asia began her healing process, the rest of the group could only watch with bated breath, hoping that the combination of supernatural tears and exceptional healing abilities would bring Kiba back from the brink. The atmosphere in Ajuka's laboratory remained tense, with the fate of their friend hanging in the balance.
Issei declared, "I'm going to exit Kiba's body now; everything that happens afterwards is up to you."
Issei took a deep breath, and with a determined look, he began disentangling his essence from Kiba's body. As he gradually withdrew, the malevolent aura surrounding Kiba's form dissipated.
Now free from Issei's possession, Kiba lay still on the examination table, the aftermath of the intense battle evident on his body. The vials of Phoenix Tears were in Asia's hands, ready to be employed at the right moment.
Soon enough, Kiba's unconscious body started spasming and shaking violently, foaming from the mouth.
Witnessing Kiba's sudden convulsions, the group was gripped by a renewed sense of fear and urgency. Quickly on her feet, Asia rushed forward, her healing powers at the ready, and carefully administered the Phoenix Tears while channelling her Twilight Healing.
The combination of the potent tears and Asia's healing energy seemed to have a stabilising effect. Kiba's convulsions gradually subsided, and his body settled into a more peaceful state. However, the tension in the room remained palpable as the severity of Kiba's condition and the unknown consequences of Issei's possession lingered.
Asia, beads of sweat forming on her forehead, continued to focus her healing abilities on Kiba. The others looked on with concern and hope, waiting for any signs of improvement.
Kiba's breathing steadied after what felt like an eternity, and the colour returned to his complexion. The effects of the Phoenix Tears and Asia's Twilight Healing had successfully counteracted the adverse consequences of Issei's possession.
Asia, visibly relieved, stepped back, wiping away the sweat from her brow. The rest of the group sighed collectively, their worry dissipating with the reassuring signs of Kiba's recovery.
As Kiba's body slowly regained stability under Asia's meticulous care, Rias approached her friend with concern and relief.
Rias asked, "How is he, Asia? Will he be okay?"
Asia nodded with a reassuring smile while still closely monitoring Kiba's vital signs.
Asia answered, "He should be fine now. The combination of Phoenix Tears and Twilight Healing seems to have worked. It might take some time for him to fully regain consciousness, but the worst is over."
The tension in the room eased as Asia's words brought a collective sigh of relief. The group watched Kiba's breathing stabilise, and the colour returned to his face. Once on the brink of danger, the formidable SwordsmanSwordsman now lay on the examination table in a state of peaceful recovery.

After Issei departed Kiba's body, his consciousness returned to his own. Issei's head snapped up, a resurgence of life coursing through him, while Ddraig remained concerned about his host's condition.
In the aftermath, Ddraig urgently inquired, "Partner? Have you regained your senses? You were incapacitated for nearly half an hour."
Issei, nonchalantly repositioning himself in the chair, responded, "Ah, Ddraig? No worries, I'm good. Just had a bit of an out-of-body experience."
A sudden influx of memories overwhelmed Ddraig, revealing Issei's takeover of Kiba's body and the defeat of the Swordsman of the Hero Faction.
With comprehension, Ddraig declared, "I see. You've assumed control of the Gremory knight's vessel to engage in a conflict he'd inevitably falter in."
Issei inquired, "Yeah, did you see that new state known as 'LIMIT BREAKER'?"
Ddraig confirmed, "I have, and I wholeheartedly concur with your initial assessments regarding the newfound power. The notion that my Boosted Gear necessitates a substantial surge of energy for the activation of 'LIMIT BREAKER'—attributable to its status as a Longinus rather than a normal Sacred Gear."
Issei added with a chuckle, "I highly doubt that this state is even known to Michael and Azazel."
Ddraig agreed, "I agree; it seems your influence on others is greater than we initially thought."
Glancing at his left arm and the Boosted Gear, Issei realised that all preparations for the new form against Cao Cao were complete.
"Ddraig, it's time. Time for us to save the Underworld," he stated.
"Indeed, the preparations have been completed. Delving into your memories, it appears that these Bandersnatchs and Jabberwocky are causing quite a tumultuous stir," Ddraig asserted.
He then questioned, "But let me ask, do you truly intend to wield the newfound Scale Mail without subjecting it to a thorough test?"
Issei reassured, "No worries, Ddraig. I'm completely confident in my skills, and using the new Scale Mail against someone like Cao Cao will undoubtedly yield positive results. Sometimes, you've got to learn to run before you can walk."
Ddraig hummed approvingly, acknowledging Issei's confidence. Issei rose from the chair, determination evident in his eyes.
"Let's head out, Ddraig," he declared, his voice firm and resolute.

In the Underworld, panic gripped the civilians as they fled from their homes, desperately seeking refuge from the onslaught of Anti-Monsters wreaking havoc in their wake. Devil peerages valiantly fought against the menacing creatures, putting up fierce resistance to protect their homes. However, their efforts could only stave off the impending disaster for a short while, during which they managed to save and evacuate some of the terrified civilians. Despite their struggles, casualties remained relatively low, but the toll was steadily rising.
The once serene streets were now battlegrounds, echoing the clashes between devil peerages and Anti-Monsters. The destructive force unleashed by the invaders left a trail of ruin as buildings crumbled and landscapes transformed into scenes of chaos. The atmosphere was thick with tension, and the residents of the Underworld faced an unprecedented threat that tested the limits of their defences.
During the chaos, the Underworld's leaders convened in emergency meetings, grappling with the severity of the situation. Archdukes and Duchesses, heads of powerful devil clans, exchanged urgent messages and strategised to coordinate a unified response against the Anti-Monster rampage. They knew that unless decisive action was taken swiftly, the very fabric of the Underworld could be irreversibly damaged.
Meanwhile, in the heart of the turmoil, some high-ranking devils took charge of organising evacuation efforts, guiding panicking civilians to designated safe zones. The Underworld's military, comprised of skilled devil warriors, continued their valiant efforts to stem the tide of destruction. As the clashes intensified, reports of powerful Anti-Monsters with unique abilities reached the ears of the leaders, adding a layer of complexity to an already dire situation.
Once thought impenetrable, the Underworld's magical barriers were strained to their limits. The Anti-Monsters, driven by an unknown force, exploited every vulnerability they could find. The resilience of the devil peerages was commendable, but the sheer numbers and relentless assault of the invaders pushed them to their limits.
The fate of the Underworld hung in the balance, and the persistent devil peerages fought desperately to protect their home from the impending doom. Yet, little did they know that a greater challenge awaited them, one that involved a certain duo—Issei and Ddraig—who were gearing up for a confrontation that would shape the destiny of the Underworld.
Suddenly, a giant portal opened in the sky, warping and twisting time and space as it materialised. The residents of the Underworld gazed up in shock, awe, and horror at the phenomenon. The intensity of the last feeling heightened as something emerged from the portal.
Countless red entities filled the portal, ranging from humanoid to outright monstrous. Fear gripped the people of the Underworld as they anticipated new threats. For many, this marked the end of the Underworld—a sentiment shared by the majority.
However, those familiar with a certain Dragon Emperor and his abilities breathed relief. Azazel, watching through a monitor, couldn't help but grin.
Azazel remarked, "So that's what you were planning."
Issei stepped out of the portal, emitting an aura of power that momentarily halted the chaos below.
Azazel, smiling knowingly, turned to the other leaders in the emergency meeting.
Azazel confidently stated, "It seems our reinforcements have arrived. Issei is here."
The news quickly spread among the devil leaders, renewing hope in the Underworld. Yet, a majority remained in an uproar.
"The Pariah of the Underworld?! How dare he step into the Underworld after what he did!" one devil leader shouted.
"The nerve of that Monster," another devil leader sneered, eyeing Issei's relentless assault on the Anti-Monsters. "He thinks he can just waltz back in here and play the hero after everything he's done? Unbelievable."
A murmur of agreement rippled through the gathered leaders, and scepticism hung like a thick fog.
"He's probably just looking for redemption," a deviless remarked, crossing her arms. "But can we really trust someone with such a troubled history to save us? What if he betrays us again?"
Despite Issei's impressive display of power and determination, the devil leaders remained divided in their opinions. The battlefield below continued to be a chaotic mixture of devil peerages, Anti-Monsters, and Issei's relentless attacks. As the sceptical leaders observed, murmurs and debates erupted among them.
"He might be strong, but can we really trust him?" one devil leader questioned, closely monitoring Issei's every move.
Another leader, adopting a more diplomatic stance, said, "We need to consider the immediate threat. If Issei can help us defeat these Anti-Monsters, we can deal with any repercussions later."
Yet, dissenting voices persisted.
"He betrayed us once; who's to say he won't do it again?" a devil noble declared, voicing the concerns of many.
Azazel, still observing the situation, spoke up once more.
Azazel reasoned, "I understand the concerns, but right now, we need to focus on survival. Issei's strength is undeniable, and he's proven himself in the past. Let's set aside personal grudges for the greater good."
The devil leaders exchanged uneasy glances, torn between their reservations and the situation's urgency.

In the centre of the portal suspended in the sky, Issei stood, surrounded by a multitude of red entities—soul-bound beings he had accumulated through rigorous training in his dimension. His gaze remained fixed on the unfolding chaos below, where the Underworld crumbled under the destructive forces and Anti-Monsters ran rampant.
Amidst the chaos, Issei observed the Bandersnatches darting in all directions, spawning miniature monsters as they went. The Jabberwocky soared through the air, closing in on the city of Lilith. Sirzechs's peerage, including Grayfia and others, fought valiantly against the menacing creature, but Issei couldn't help but wonder about Sirzechs's whereabouts. A realisation struck him—the leaders and influential figures of the Underworld were in hiding, fearing the formidable True Longinus wielded by Cao Cao. Their reluctance to face the threat head-on was driven by the understanding that their death would tilt the delicate balance of power.
"Cowards, every last one of them! To fear a mere human brandishing an oversized toothpick is utterly pathetic!" Issei scoffed, expressing his disdain for their perceived weakness.
"In this world, it's clear that salvation rests solely in my hands. I alone possess the power to rescue both the weak and the self-proclaimed mighty," he muttered to himself with a wicked grin, acknowledging the burden he bore.
Redirecting his attention to the soul-bound beings, Issei focused on the left section, predominantly comprised of humanoid entities.
"All of you, go and either assist with evacuation or aid the other peerages in battling the smaller monsters," he commanded them.
The soul-bound entities leapt from the portal, descending from the sky to the ground, swiftly advancing toward their designated objectives, numbering in the high hundreds.
"Those ones are disposable; I won't feel a thing with those perishing," Issei stated coldly, emphasising the expendability of this particular group.
Shifting his gaze to the right side, Issei directed his attention to the more monstrous entities specifically designed for combat and crowd control.
"You guys will take down the Bandersnatches; there are 12 of them, so divide yourselves evenly and eliminate them. And get rid of any stragglers among the smaller ones," he commanded.
"Leave the big one to me," Issei declared, his eyes locking onto the Jabberwocky, which glared menacingly back at him.
The monstrous red entities, crafted for combat and crowd control, leapt or soared out of the portal in pursuit of their assigned targets. Issei observed the unfolding spectacle with keen interest.

With four powerful limbs ending in articulated claws and piercing eyes emitting radiant beams, the Behemoth moved with precision, each step accompanied by a deep, metallic hum.
Issei focused his gaze on the Behemoth as it transformed, developing a giant cannon in its mouth. A devastating energy beam launched forth, obliterating one of the Bandersnatches.

A colossal sea monster, the Abyssal Kraken, with writhing tentacles shrouded in otherworldly darkness, emerged. Its enormous, lidless eyes emitted a sinister hue, and bioluminescent patterns adorned its body, casting an eerie light in the ocean's depths. With immense force, the Kraken surfaced, revealing its massive, fanged maw.
Near one of the Bandersnatch, the Kraken spawned in a lake, using its tentacles to ensnare the Anti-Monster. Dragging it into the lake, the Kraken directed the Anti Monster into its mouth. Despite the Anti Monster's resistance, the Kraken, utilising its suckers on the tentacles, began draining its energy. Ultimately, the Kraken swallowed and destroyed the Anti Monster, leaving only nine remaining.
Issei smirked with satisfaction as he watched his monstrous creations decimate the opposing forces. Among the chaos, he couldn't help but notice some devils futilely attempting to combat his own monsters, oblivious to the fact that they inadvertently aided the devils by targeting the Anti-Monsters.
"Single-minded idiots," Issei muttered with annoyance, shaking his head at their short-sightedness.
Suddenly, he sensed a presence behind him—it was Dark-Sei.
"What do you want?" Issei asked, his irritation evident in his tone.
Dark-Sei just smirked sinisterly before responding, "I've got a little present for ya!" his voice dripping with a sinister edge.
In an instant, a giant wolf materialised between Dark-Sei and Issei. Issei recognised it immediately—it was Fenrir.

"Issei, when did you—" Issei began, but Dark-Sei cut him off.
"Last week, when you offed Fenrir, you snagged the gauntlet and greaves with that fancy Item Extraction. Nice move, by the way. But, big mistake—you forgot the Soul Bind, the real deal. Lucky for you, I took it upon myself to fix your slip-up," Dark-Sei scoffed, adding a mocking bow for emphasis.
"Planning to wield him, huh, partner? I'm itching to watch this pup unleash some chaos," Dark-Sei remarked with a wicked grin.
Observing that only three Bandersnatches remained in the Underworld, Issei pondered how Fenrir would compare to them. However, he ultimately declined the offer.
"No," Issei stated firmly.
"Aww, but why?" Dark-Sei feigned hurt, petting Fenrir.
"I won't be unveiling this ability to the public just yet. If word gets out that I can use this on them, it might stir things up. Let's stick to the story that I can only use this ability on entities from my own dimension. Introducing Fenrir would completely undermine that narrative, given his unmistakable presence. There are certain secrets I intend to uphold," Issei explained.
Dark-Sei smirked, seemingly grasping Issei's reasoning. Dismissing Fenrir, who vanished into thin air, Dark-Sei left behind an aura of lingering danger. Issei refocused his attention on the ongoing chaos in the Underworld.
"Fair enough, partner. You always did have a knack for playing the puppet master. Keep them guessing, right? But remember, I'm always here to spice things up whenever you're ready to unleash the full extent of your power," Dark-Sei said with a wink before fading into the shadows.
"Unleash the full extent of my power? That might just come sooner than you expect, perhaps within the next hour," Issei mused to himself, anticipation building for the revelations yet to come.
Issei shifted his gaze back to the Underworld, witnessing the final Bandersnatch's defeat at the hands of the colossal spider.

Previously the size of a family van, the spider had transformed into the proportions of a double-decker bus. It crawled over the last Bandersnatch, weaving webs and injecting poison into the Anti Monster. From the Anti Monster's body, smaller spiders the size of humans emerged, devouring it until nothing remained.
The residents of the Underworld watched in shock, unsure of how to react. The Bandersnatches were defeated, yet more monstrous entities replaced them. As Issei deactivated his ability, the monsters vanished, bringing relief to the combatants.
Issei's attention turned to the ongoing battle between the Jabberwocky and Sirzechs's peerage, led temporarily by Grayfia. Despite their efforts, it seemed they couldn't land a scratch on the formidable creature.
"Hmph, it seems that these people are nothing but over-hype," Issei remarked to himself.
Using dimensional storage, Issei accessed his armoury and retrieved a golden key.

Inserting the key into a keyhole that appeared in his Boosted Gear, Issei twisted it, unlocking a hidden feature. The gems on the gauntlet blinked red, and Ddraig's voice resonated loudly.
Forbidden Abilities Unlocked
Upon learning that Ddraig had some abilities sealed by the God of the Bible, Issei devised a plan. He implemented a lock and key system on his Boosted Gear, securing away specific abilities that he considered 'dangerous.' The idea was to prevent chaotic consequences by restricting access to these powers in moments of desperation.
Issei soared out of the portal, heading straight for the Jabberwocky as Sirzechs's Peerage continued their valiant but seemingly futile battle against the formidable creature. He witnessed a peerage member perilously close to being crushed by the Jabberwocky's energy blast.
"Surtur!" the entire peerage cried out in horror as they watched one of their own on the brink of death.
The energy blast struck the ground with devastating force, obliterating the surrounding area. Despite being blasted back, the other peerage members sustained minimal injuries. As they rose to their feet, they gazed upon the spot where Surtur had stood moments ago, only to find it reduced to ash by the ferocious blast.
In a moment of horror and disbelief, some trembled while others wore expressions of disappointment. Suddenly, a rush of wind swept behind them, prompting them to turn around and behold Issei carrying Surtur on his shoulder.
Issei tossed Surtur to the ground, assessing the exhausted man's condition. It was evident that Issei had used his speed to intercept the deadly blast before it could kill Surtur.

"Pathetic. Is this the best you can do against a single monster?" Issei's mocking voice resonated across the battlefield, his disdain evident.
Surtur, catching his breath, glanced up at Issei with gratitude and frustration. The rest of Sirzechs's peerage remained stunned, struggling to comprehend the abrupt shift in circumstances.
Still shaken from the shock of being rescued, Surtur expressed his gratitude to Issei.
"I owe you one, Hyoudou. I didn't expect you to swoop in like that," he admitted, his voice tinged with gratitude.
Grayfia, the temporary leader of Sirzechs's peerage, glared at Issei.

"What are you doing in the Underworld, Issei? If the higher-ups find out you're here, you'll be locked in Cocytus," Grayfia retorted with a hint of concern.
Issei smirked, undeterred by her warning.
"Is this the thanks I get for saving one of your own?" he replied sarcastically.
Grayfia narrowed her eyes at Issei, clearly unamused by his attitude.
"You have a habit of making grand entrances. What's your agenda here, Issei?" she demanded sternly.
Issei chuckled, revelling in the attention and tension he was causing.
"Let's just say there are two people I wish to kill," he replied cryptically.
Grayfia's stern expression deepened at Issei's enigmatic response. The weight of his words hung heavily in the air, intensifying the atmosphere around them.
"Kill? You're here for bloodshed?" Grayfia questioned her tone, a mix of disbelief and concern.
Issei smirked, the mischievous glint in his eyes growing stronger.
"Yes, a certain God of Death and Leader of the Hero Faction are on my kill list," he said casually as if discussing trivial matters.
"I can understand killing Cao Cao for what he did to you and the others in the artificial dimension, but Hades is on a completely different level! And besides, the Greek Pantheon would not take the killing of one of their own lightly," Grayfia stated sternly.
"In no uncertain terms, Grayfia, Hades has proven to be a dangerous liability, aligning himself with a terrorist organisation with the intention of annihilating the Underworld and all Devil-kind, including your family. Do you honestly believe such a threat deserves clemency? And regarding the Greek Pantheon, if necessary, I'll kill them all," Issei declared firmly.
Grayfia's stern expression remained unchanged, but a flicker of concern appeared in her eyes. Issei's determination and ruthlessness caught her off guard.
"Issei, this isn't a decision to be taken lightly. Killing a god, especially one as influential as Hades, will have consequences that extend beyond the Underworld. You risk sparking a war between mythologies," she cautioned, her voice carrying the weight of experience.
Issei smirked confidently, undeterred by Grayfia's warning.
"Let them come. I've never been one to shy away from a good fight, and if the pantheons want to get involved, I'll gladly deal with them, too. Hades made his choice, and now he has to face the consequences," he declared, his eyes ablaze with determination.
Grayfia sighed, realising that convincing Issei otherwise might be a futile effort.
"Just be aware, Issei, that your actions may have far-reaching repercussions. The balance between the supernatural factions is delicate, and upsetting it could lead to catastrophic consequences," she advised, her tone earnest.
Issei, however, remained unswayed.
"The balance has already been upset by those who seek to destroy it. I'm just here to restore it in my own way," he replied cryptically.
Suddenly, the Jabberwocky roared in fury, drawing attention to Issei and Sirzechs's entire peerage.
"Seems like someone wants to be the centre of attention," Issei remarked nonchalantly.
The ground beneath them trembled as the Jabberwocky roared, fixating its attention on Issei and Sirzechs's peerage. The colossal creature, feeling challenged, prepared to unleash its wrath upon those daring to confront it.
Grayfia readied herself, her stance unwavering despite the impending danger.
"Issei, we need to focus on this threat first. The Jabberwocky won't be an easy opponent, even for someone with your abilities," she warned, her gaze fixed on the monstrous creature.
Issei smirked confidently, seemingly unfazed by the imminent danger.
"You know, I hate when people underestimate me; it causes me to start showing off," he remarked, activating the Boosted Gear and embracing the surge of power coursing through him.

Issei ascended with blinding speed towards the Jabberwocky, delivering a powerful punch to the monster's chin. The force of Issei's blow caused the creature's head to snap upward. Swiftly flipping in the air, Issei executed a backheel kick that sent the Jabberwocky crashing back down with tremendous force. The impact shook the surrounding land, creating a scene of chaos and destruction.
The resilient Jabberwocky rose once more, letting out a furious roar. Issei descended back to the ground, landing next to Grayfia, and deactivated his scale mail.
[Due to Balance Breaker deactivation, all stats have been reduced to base]
The air crackled with the residual energy of the confrontation, and the tense atmosphere hung as the two formidable forces prepared for the next battle phase. Grayfia observed Issei's upgraded form making quick work of the Jabberwocky, momentarily halting the creature's rampage. The ground trembled from the impact of Issei's mighty blows, and the air resonated with the roars of the wounded monster.
"Impressive, Issei. But don't let your guard down. The Jabberwocky is a formidable opponent, and it won't be defeated so easily," Grayfia advised, maintaining her vigilant stance.
Issei grinned, clearly relishing the challenge.
As the Jabberwocky regained its footing, Issei's demon eyes glowed with intensity as he analysed the creature's movements, searching for weaknesses and anticipating its next move.
Enraged and wounded, the Jabberwocky charged towards Issei with renewed ferocity. Grayfia and the rest of Sirzechs's peerage repositioned themselves, preparing for the battle.
"Grayfia, tell me this: is there any form of civilisation in that direction for about... 500 kilometres?" Issei pointed in the direction behind the charging Jabberwocky.
Grayfia looked behind the Jabberwocky and contemplated. Behind the creature was nothing more than a barren wasteland, often used by devils for rigorous training and tests of strength.
"No, Issei. That area is mostly uninhabited. It's a desolate wasteland where devils often go for rigorous training and tests of strength. Why do you ask?" she responded, puzzled by Issei's inquiry.
Issei's grin widened as he continued to engage the charging Jabberwocky.
"You'll see," he replied cryptically.
"I need all of you to get back, at least 500 meters," Issei instructed, turning his head towards Sirzechs's peerage.
Grayfia and the members of Sirzechs's peerage exchanged curious glances, unsure of Issei's intentions. Nonetheless, they trusted his judgment, recognising the potent force he wielded.
"Follow his orders. Give him the space he needs," Grayfia commanded, and the peerage swiftly complied, retreating to a safe distance.
After the peerage was a safe distance away, Issei looked back at the charging Jabberwocky. Once again, he used his dimensional storage ability, pulling out a rabbit's foot.

Ddraig's voice resonated through Issei's left arm.
"You're gonna need all the luck you can get if I'm assuming you're going to use THAT ability," he warned.
Issei replied confidently, "There's a reason why I sealed this specific ability away."
"I would too if I was able to accidentally create a black hole," Ddraig responded.
Issei vividly remembered the last time he used this ability in his dimension – he had overdone it, inadvertently opening a black hole. The presence of the Luck-boosting Rabbit's Foot served as insurance to prevent a recurrence.
"I could use the new form and use Longinus Smasher to destroy the Jabberwocky, but I'm saving that for Hades," Issei declared as he raised his left hand, pointing towards the charging Jabberwocky.
The Rabbit's Foot began to glow with a golden light in his right hand. The anticipation heightened as Issei readied himself for the upcoming moment.
[Due to Item, Luck has increased by ten times]
[Luck: 1040]
A bead of sweat trickled down Issei's brow; he wouldn't admit it, but this ability terrified him. Yet, his mental fortitude kicked in, and he calmed himself. With resolve, he turned his gaze towards the Jabberwocky and unleashed the attack.
Instantly, the Jabberwocky froze in its tracks as if time itself had paused in its vicinity. Whether observing from a distance or through monitors, onlookers watched in astonishment, their eyes widening at the inexplicable phenomenon. The prevailing thought among them was that Issei had somehow stopped time in the area surrounding the Jabberwocky.
After an agonisingly long moment, the effect took hold. The Jabberwocky and the land it occupied vanished as if erased from reality, and in its place stood a colossal canyon stretching across the landscape like a scar. The canyon mirrored the dimensions of the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon in China, leaving those witnessing the aftermath stunned into silence. In that same instance everyone in the Underworld felt as if bits of energy within their body had been drained to fill the gap left by Issei.
The wasteland had transformed into an immense chasm, a testament to the power unleashed by Issei's mysterious ability. Members of Sirzechs's peerage, still maintaining a safe distance, stared in awe at the scale of the devastation.
"What... what kind of power was that?" Grayfia muttered, her usually composed demeanour shaken to its core.
Watching from a monitor elsewhere, Azazel also reacted with astonishment and concern.
"That's... beyond anything I've seen before. Issei, just what did you do?" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief.
Meanwhile, in Ajuka's research facility, the Gremory Peerage watched the cataclysmic event unfold on a monitor. Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Asia stared in disbelief at the transformation of the wasteland into a massive canyon, their expressions a mixture of awe and apprehension.
"Issei... what kind of power did he just unleash?" Rias murmured, her voice laced with concern.
Akeno, usually composed, was visibly shaken by the display of Issei's newfound ability.
"I've never seen anything like this before..." she remarked, her tone filled with awe and uncertainty.
Koneko's ears twitched as she processed the magnitude of the destruction wrought by Issei's attack.
"Issei... he's become even more formidable than I imagined," she observed, a hint of admiration in her voice.
Asia, her eyes wide with shock, clutched her hands together, her worry for Issei evident.
"I hope he's okay... That kind of power... it's terrifying," she whispered, her voice trembling with concern.
Meanwhile, still unconscious from Issei's earlier stunt, Kiba could only hear the words of the other girls, his consciousness drifting in and out.
Ajuka Beelzebub, one of the Four Great Satans, monitored the situation from his research facility. His typically composed expression faltered momentarily as he witnessed the creation of the colossal canyon through Issei's mysterious ability.
"Incredible... What kind of power is this?" he murmured to himself, his keen intellect trying to comprehend the extent of Issei's newfound abilities.
He observed the aftermath on the monitor, calculating the scale of destruction and its implications for the balance of power in the Underworld.
"That ability... it defies conventional understanding. Issei's potential is surpassing even my expectations," he admitted, a mix of fascination and concern crossing his features.
As an unparalleled Devil in terms of intellect and magical prowess, Ajuka was accustomed to analysing extraordinary phenomena. Yet, Issei's recent display left even him momentarily perplexed.
Sirzechs Lucifer, who had been observing the battle with intense interest, couldn't conceal his astonishment at the spectacle before him. His usually composed expression broke into a mix of surprise and curiosity as he witnessed Issei's extraordinary display of power.
"Issei... what have you become?" he muttered to himself, his eyes fixed on the monitor showing the transformed wasteland.
He leaned closer to the monitor, studying the details of the newly formed canyon. The destruction caused by Issei's mysterious ability was on a scale that transcended conventional magical understanding. Sirzechs, as the Satan Lucifer and the current leader of the Devil faction, was no stranger to formidable powers, but Issei's recent feats surpassed even his expectations.
On the battlefield, Issei stands amidst the transformed wasteland, breathing heavily. He drops to his knees and releases a breath he had been holding; sweat beads form on his lower back as his shirt sticks to his skin. Issei isn't tired but rather very anxious.
Ddraig comments through Issei's left arm, "You really pushed the limits with that one, partner. I can't believe you used it."
Though visibly drained, Issei manages a smirk and replies, "It could've been worse," his eyes still reflecting the intensity of the battle.
He looks at his right hand and sees the Rabbit's foot turn into gold light particles and disappear.

Issei takes out the Unsealing Key again and reseals his forbidden abilities by inserting the key into the keyhole of the Boosted Gear, putting the key back inside his dimension.
Before anything more can be done, Issei senses many magic signatures surrounding him. He looks up and sees multiple magic circles surrounding him; out from the magic circles appear a multitude of Devil Peerages, all with angered looks.
Anticipating battle, Issei stands up casually and gives a bored and unbothered look, which only angers everyone. Among the group, Issei discerns a few familiar faces: Diehauser Bellial and his peerage, Sairaorg Bael and his peerage, Seekvaria Agares and her peerage, along with other peerages which he doesn't recognise and the rest are singular beings. The singular who catches his eye is Issei's biggest hater, Lord Bael.
"Lord Bael, it's been a while; I see your hairline hasn't been nice to you. Do I cause you that much stress?" he says mockingly, recalling his Trial where he made a fool out of Lord Bael.
Lord Bael's face contorts with fury upon hearing Issei's mocking words. His hands tremble, and his eyes narrow into a glare that could pierce steel.
"You insolent brat! You think you can mock me after what you did during the Rating Game? I'll make sure you pay for every word!" he bellows, his anger barely contained.
Diehauser Bellial, known for his calm demeanour, steps forward, attempting to diffuse the tension.
"Enough, Lord Bael. We're here to address the situation and determine the extent of the damage caused by Hyoudou's actions," he states, his tone measured.
Diehauser then turns toward Issei.
"Issei Hyoudou! Lay down your weapons! You are surrounded!" he says in a stern tone.
Issei's facial expression becomes cold before replying, "All I am surrounded by is fear and dead men," he says coldly.
