Chapter 2: Exploring the house

After a brief stint with Blitzo or in his mind a stalker Stolas on the second day of living in his new home with his moms, it was raining as the young owl demon was indoors dressed in a yellow/blue stripped shirt with stars and a pair of grey shorts and was sighing as he looked outside in the rain as he arranged what seeds he and his mom had to make a small herb window garden as he scratched a rash on his hand due to the poison ivy as he sighed "I managed to find a well mama *Continues to scratch his reddened hand* and nearly fell in" he said as looking up from her laptop was a tall pale skinned with yellow eyes ad rosy cheeks nephliam with straw-blonde hair tied in a pony tail and dressed in a red sweater and blue pants named Charlie Morning star, one of Stolas adopted moms.

"I am glad you didnt sweet I'll need to add that to the list to have it repaired and blocked off as well as have that nasty poison ivy bush removed before someone else gets poison ivy" she said her eyes on her laptop typing. She along with her wife veggie worked on writing articles for a magazine for gardening and on mental health while on the side Charlie was working with a contractor to rebuild a hotel into a rehabilitation center and a safe home for sinners and demons wanting to clan up there act or for parents who lost there homes and need a place to get back on there feet. "Mama do you want to take a break and come outside the weather is perfect for gardening" said Stolas as he loved plants and gardening.

"Oh I know sweetie but I need to wrap up these documents to give to the magazine and also we don't have our gardening tools because well…started Charlie as Stolas sighed. He recalled the movers misplaced half of there stuff and that included his books and bike and he wanted to visit the village near the apartments "Then what can I do?" Asked Stolas "You better ask your other mom on a few ideas, oh an one more thing *Shows a newspaper wrapped present* a imp came over and dropped off this for you" said Charlie as Stolas took it and saw a note

Stolas then unwrapped the package and saw it was a doll version of himself all dressed in the outfit he wore yesterday, rain jacket and all "Huh…curious a little…me" he pondered "So what's his name?" Asked Charlie as Stolas threw the paper away "Blitzo and I'm to big for dolls" he said but kept the doll as it was to curious as he made his way to the office where his second mom, a beautiful grey skinned fallen angel with her grey-whiteish hair tied in a ponytail and dressed in a blue-red sweater with a eye x-overed littiary was typing on her computer a article she and her wife worked for at times as she looked over with tired eyes on her adopted son and smiled "Hay Stolas *Looks at the doll* and Little Stolas" she said as Stolas smiled "Hi mama Vaggie do you want to take a break and play cards" he asked as Vaggie sighed "Sorry kiddo I need to finish these articles, what did your mom say? Can you go out?" She asked as Stolas wagged a finger at the doll "Don't even think about it Stolas Morningstar, its to wet ad muddy *Normal voice* plus we don't have our yard tools" he said

"Thankfully the truck with our stuff will come I a few days, so promise me you can be patient?" Asked Maggie as Stolas sighed but nodded as the Fallen angel grabbed a small notepad "Here maybe this can keep you busy and help to get use to the house (Stolas: how?) Count all the doors and windows in the house, blue items and even find the water heater just as long as I can work ok?" She asked returning to work as Stolas nodded but as he left he sighed I wish my moms had more time to play with me he thought. He knows his moms have been working hard for the magazine and setting up for the rehabilitation center he just felt…alone at times as he started exploring around taking note of the windows and doors and even peeked out to see the back yard…though there was a drip on the notepad as he hummed annoyed as he climbed up the stairs (Avoiding a rug trip) to his moms bathroom and saw bugs in the shower flinching as he tried to squish them and wash his hands in the shower but got splashed with Iggy brown water as he shook it off noting to tell his moms as he went down stairs and founded the water heater and turned off the light…though it caused Vaggies office lights to flicker as she was confused as Stolas nepped and saw a old tape saying [Do not turn off] and quickly turned it on.

"Note to me tell my moms to replace that tape and the wiring" said Stolas as he walked off into the fireplace room where they planed to turn into a living room as there was a tv and a few boxes and things to unpack as Stolas looked at one of the boxes as he placed down the doll and notepad and opened it up revealing several snow globes from the trips he and his moms have been on as he smiled and placed them on the mantle as he stepped back at all the places h and his moms went after his adoption when he was little as he sighed wishing to be able to play with his moms like before as he saw a painting of a little girl imp cryingng due to to a dropped ice cream as he sighed and took note "One sad dull painting of a imp, excatally 4 windows *Walks to the table to get the doll* and no more doors" he uttered and saw the doll was gone "Oh dear *Looks around* ok little me where are you?" He asked looking around until he saw the doll poking on the side of a box that was to be unpacked much to his curiosity as he walked over "How did you get there?" He pondered as he went to get the door but the owlet noticed something behind the box and pushed it aside and saw the outline of a tiny door.

That sparked a curiosity "Mama Charlie! Mama Charlie! I found something!" He yelled as Charlie in the kitchen flinched a bit "What is it?" She asked 'Stolas voice: a little door but I think its locked take a look yelled Stolas as Charlie got up to see what her son was hollering about and saw the small door. "Mama do you think there is a key? And where do you think it goes to?" Asked Stolas excited at the idea of a new space to explore "Hold on let me see" said Charlie going to the kitchen and checking a drawer with several keys founded one…that stuck out.

It was a real old black key that looked well polished and cared for and on top was a grinning clown. Charlie felt a odd feeling this was the key as she returned to the door using the key to make a slit in the wallpaper as Stolas watched excitedly as she inserted the key and was able to turn with a click…Stolas was excited at the idea to explore a new room but when Charlie opened the door there were bricks…"Bricks?! What the…" he started looking at his mom "This house was once one house at one time before they were made into diffrent rooms this must be blocked off in another room like this *Scold face* and no you cant take a hammer to break the door wall down" she said as Stolas pouted as Charlie walked off confusing Stolas "Wait are you gonna lock it?" She asked as Charlie shrugged "What's the point when its not going anywhere" she said returning to the kitchen and putting away the key as Stolas looked at the door and closed it with a sigh.

Authors note: And that is the next chapter as Stolas is pinning to hang out with his moms and well…do more in this new space.

Next chapter after a 'get' supper and going to bed Stolas wishes for a colorful and better place as he follows the sound of mice…into a place so colorful it must be a dream…
