"You don't have to say a word."

And she didn't allow him to as she rushed towards him, her hips switching purposefully as she darted onto her tippy toes and dragged him down to meet her halfway. Her lips greeted his in a sweltering hold, her heartbeat grew frantic as her knees had grown weak when the Uchiha finally reciprocated. His lips mirrored her very own ravenous ones, longingly. His arms acted as a cocoon, encapsulating her as his lips trotted along her face. From her lips, to her jawline, then down to the open queue that was her neck.

The burgundette gasped at the feel of his hands alternating from climbing their way up her waist to raking down her back before they settled on clutching her ass and bringing her closer. She felt a pleasurable jolt that rumbled through her at the sound of his gracious hums as he pulled her towards his center. Both had this ungovernable need to feel closer. Close to the point of not knowing who's skin they were in while their breaths mingled between every kiss.

Shisui was certain that Kyori didn't want to stop. Between kisses she went from tugging him by the belt loops to hooking her arms around his nape, keeping him close while heading towards the bed. She just wanted to go further— to continue this journey of touch and taste— Kyori would go as far as he'd allow. And she was willing to show him just how much she missed him. The moment they unceremoniously reclined onto the bed, she ravaged his lips with both desperation and hunger, in hopes of coaxing him into doing more tonight.

Shisui couldn't really think while his mouth was working in tandem with hers. He was too occupied with reveling in the taste of her blackberry gloss, and the smell of her tangy cranberry scent completely engulfing him. He couldn't fathom how much he missed her, but more so the beautiful discovery of touching her. It was an entirely new experience. Shisui carved her hips, his hands dipped then traced the outline of her honeyed thighs. Her physique felt unreal to the point he felt the need to caress her frequently as if it was imperative to the point of worship.

Just then Kyori mounted him, eyes guzzling him down with an incessant thirst as he lied beneath her; his body was happily sandwiched between her caramelized thighs. Her hands were eager to adore the tautness of his flesh, her mouth soon followed, as her tongue prayed to savor this moment. The Shimura girl took pride in his stifled groans. And while on her glorious exploration, Kyori felt one of his hands ascending, his touch chastely grazed her ample breast. She mewled in response to him clipping her now hardened nub. Her desperate tone indistinguishably appreciative and disappointed when he lifted her chin, quickly bringing a pause to their...

Excursion.

The Uchiha finally had a chance to catch his breath and to form his very conflicting thoughts. He knew that they shouldn't have indulged this much. All the kissing and fondling were not appropriate for friends, especially ones that just decided to reconcile. They should be giving each other space, and more time to figure out what they both wanted. They were supposed to fortify the foundation of their friendship by having expectations to meet and boundaries to keep. And this was the exact opposite of all of that.

But he could hardly care when she would soar against his touch. Looking into those deep maple bands as her brows knitted with urgency, he wanted to forget reason. He wanted to focus on her pleasure instead.

"Shisui," she whined but before she could voice her displeasure, Shisui's heated lips flitted on hers, leaving her to surrender as he then slid his tongue into her mouth. The Uchiha male's excitement only seemed to heighten as he felt her hands run up his chest before she buried her fingers into the curls.

He pulled away, only for the burgundette to lean in to fetch his lips once more. He was just as breathless but not as needy as she was, and he was loving it. Shisui smirked against her lips and slowly grounded his hips, making her sough. "What're we doing?" Shisui grinned, his pitless eyes were scalding hot and filled with a deep satisfaction as they settled on what was now beneath him.

"Nothing worth stopping," she uttered witlessly, her hands now worked at removing his shirt. She wanted this. Him. Not Yamanaka or anybody else. And by the looks of things, he was willing to give in. "I know that you want me too so let's-" the Shimura girl ardently kissed his lips and swiftly marked his neck-" see where this goes."

And man, did he want to do just that. To just bask in her, to see what becomes of them; it all sounded as easy as a Sunday morning. But… to do that would mean to do something irreversible. To be careless. To risk it all. To possibly lose her all over again.

"Kyori." he abruptly sat up only to secure her in his arms. "No."

She knew that stern tone all too much as it had instantly put out her flame. The burgundette rested her chin at his shoulder with raw lips and ragged breaths from kissing so intensely. Her java brown eyes were forced to cool and harden as she came back to earth, anticipating sobering words.

"We really can't." The Uchiha sighed, knowing that he had to do the proper thing. He could tell that if he didn't nip things in the bud, they would've gone further. So far that there was nothing else to take back. And he wasn't willing to risk things when they just started being amicable. "You know it's not the right time."

Kyori wanted to protest. To question him on when would it ever be? But she knew not to. She knew that he was right to squash their heated moment as this was the time for clarity. He wasn't outright rejecting her either. And so she removed herself from his hold but sat beside him.

Shisui bristled at the coolness of the room. Now that his skin was no longer warmed by hers, he lowered his shirt. "So…"

"So?" Kyori repeated, her carob gaze taking note of the rosy tinge to the Uchiha's cheeks as what transpired seemed to have dawned on him. There, they sat and gazed freely after sharing an intense moment full of longing. It was as though they had lost all sense of vocalizing with words, leaving their bodies to voice the larger discussions.

Kyori watched his brows loosen from their knotted position as his hellish gaze briefly scrolled upon her face. His eyes would dart from her eyes, to her lips, and at times her fiery hair as those were the main focal points of her beauty.

"Are you staying here tonight?" he asked with a small pout.

Something about the question made the burgundette feel as though that wasn't exactly what he had wanted to ask her. But she wouldn't pry. The Shimura girl figured that at this point in their rela- friendship, he wouldn't withhold anything unless he felt it necessary. Even though it was a tad disappointing to know that it wasn't the right time for that either. So Kyori brought her eyes on him briefly. This time, with relief as there was no need to be guarded or to feign annoyance.

"I dunno." A shrug fell from her form. Despite the guest room being bare and unrecognizable since she was in a rush to pack her things, she didn't really want to leave. Not to mention she wasn't feeling so confident to stay the night after that heavy make out. Staying would only tempt her further. Her eyes fell to her cluttered suitcase as her thigh jolted, alerting them of her buzzing mobile.

"What the?!" The Uchiha balked as she fished out her phone, skimming through her notifications. The girl's face seemed to droop as she read a text message.

"Shit," she grumbled. "If I leave, I'll be with Shin and Ayame." The stalest smile rested upon her face as she recalled the last time she was home with those two. They were ridiculously noisy, and she wasn't sure if she could endure another run of hearing Ayame's moans and knowing it was all because of her dork of a brother.

"Then you should stay with me…" Shisui immediately picked up on her discomfort and pulled her close to him. It was to the point that he could feel the warm puffs escape her lips as they brush against his clavicle. "I just can't believe Danzo lightened up and finally gave you phone privileges."

Kyori's snickers turned into full guffaws at the thought, finding it completely unbelievable as her father would never. "It was mom's idea but I think he only approved because we broke up and they would be away for a while."

"We didn't officially break up though," he voiced factually.

The Shimura girl held a dubious expression as she quirked her brows, challenging his midnight gaze once more. "Is that so?" she asked, though he could tell that it wasn't a serious inquiry.

Shisui pouted playfully, wondering what would be the appropriate response. A part of him really wanted to pick up exactly where they had left off, but the rational part that kept him afloat pushed back. Although he believed every word that she had said about the Fu fiasco, he didn't want to dive into something so serious when Kyori hadn't shown that committing was all that feasible of an idea; It was much too soon and they both weren't entirely over the whole fallout.

"I guess we never were officially together either," he blew out with no sense of finality. "But who knows what we could be if it ever comes to that."

"You shouldn't play like that," she scolded. Java brown eyes stirred, slowly blending into his dark expresso pits. She could see so much warmth and care as she peered deeply, fishing for unspoken answers before dragging them onto his lips and back towards the ceiling. Shisui clearly felt for her, but after everything, he was uncertain despite knowing how she felt along with her intentions, moving forward.

"I'm not," he voiced before hauling his eyes onto hers.

The garnet haired girl didn't want to face him at this point, and so she buried her face into the veer of his neck as she was afraid of what would come next. She didn't think they had much of a chance even after she wore her heart, desire, and mishaps all over for him to see. "Do you seriously think we could be together?" she openly wondered, her lips hairs away from touching him.

"I don't see why not." by the puzzling tone of his voice, Kyori basically got her answer as it didn't do much to assure her. And Shisui must've picked up on her internally deflating as she untangled herself from him before she decided to burn holes into the off-white of the ceiling. "I mean, for that to happen we would have to be different."

"But in what way?"

"I need for us to be open, about everything." Her eyes finally bore into him. "I need to be able to trust you."

"Then where should we start?" she merely questioned.

Shisui hummed while laying deep in thought. Intently falling into her cedar gaze, he rummaged his mind while trying to figure out where they went wrong. Before they got together, they were so easy going, and comfortable enough, flexible enough to be transparent or silly. He felt they were ultimately missing those elements, that kind of openness and intimacy. What had caused her to run back to Fu in the first place?

There were so many things to consider, all of which left the teen to frustratedly run his fingers though his hair before shaking his curls free. His mind formed a concise list of things to discuss. But what he needed from her, it was trust. "Hey, how far did things go with Yamanaka?"

Kyori simpered at the question alone, not really wondering why he would ask that of all things. He knew that they didn't have sex despite what Fu, or even Maki would continuously blab about all over the campus. "He uhm— he fingered me," she murmured that last part, feeling a shameful heat reach at the apples of her cheeks.

"Was it good?" Shisui wondered, and the look he gave her sent her to hell and back as she recalled bits of that night.

This time, it was less of a blur and she would even feel that cavity below her stomach tremor sparingly when she momentarily took the time to relish in her other only sexual moment in months. Physically, it wasn't even exciting... but the clashing between fantasy and actuality, and thought of things being so wrong but feeling so right was- she squirmed beside the Uchiha, not knowing what to really say. It was good but…

"Sorta." she shrugged, hoping to relax her tight shoulders.

"What does that even mean?" the teen blurted, not expecting that of all things. Then he turned to face her fully, seeing an expression that wasn't too familiar to him. There was a mixture of guilt, embarrassment along with something dark, and heated within her java gaze that piqued his curiosity. "Elaborate." He left no room for her to back out under his cimmerian gaze.

"He was just… there." Kyori felt flush beside him again, and the look in his eyes made her so weak that she couldn't really turn away or deny him an answer. " I wanted you."

"Oh." Shisui's eyes widen at her straightforwardness, and it only confirmed that Fu was nobody to be concerned about as she clearly was occupied with thinking of him, if not enthralled entirely.

Shisui wouldn't go any further in prying. Even if he wanted to, he knew he wasn't ready to hear her answer. The thought alone made him ache a little, with both regret and temptation as he forced himself to turn away before he was compelled to fully risk it all and go against his word. His nightly gaze began to mirror hers, and with a lip bite, he refrained from saying what was on his mind as he asked, "What made you do it?"

She thought back on that night, knowing that she couldn't blame the liquor entirely. Kyori was sure that Shisui being away was a key factor even though she had experienced a long distance relationship. But there were still so much to unpack with Fu, so much that was left unsaid. "Closure? Loneliness?" Kyori shrugged. "I'm pathetic like that."

"No you're not," Shisui denied, while bringing his eyes on hers.

"Am too." the Shimura girl turned away, her reddish mane splayed itself all over the pillow. "I couldn't even stop myself from touching you."

"We both know it's because I'm so damn sexy." Shisui laughed at her rolling those decadent eyes. "Is there anything you want ask me?"

"Sure," she chirped bashfully as her mind was quick to drift to the flushed splotches that littered his torso. The same one she tried to conquer. Kyori's russet gaze fluttered then faltered when she asked, "Did you… were you with other girls?"

The moment he thought about other girls, his arousal minimized slightly as he considered her question. "There was only one girl that I was close to getting with."

Close to? As in, he didn't sleep with anyone. Kyori instantly felt relieved, but then she had grown curious about who was putting hickies all over him. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of girl would a playboy like him seriously entertain, aside from her. "Who?"

"Honoka."

"Red head Honoka?!" she balked in utter disbelief, causing his cheeks to blister. Lightly.

"Yup."

Kyori then laughed, gaining his attention immediately and he defensively began to frown in the face of her wild cackles. "What?" he demanded an answer. "She's cute and I like a semi-shy girl every now and then."

"It's just that you have a type is all." the burgundette snickered deviously, "For sure," she voiced matter-of-factly, not missing the cherry tinge of his cheeks this time around. But the thought of him seriously being with that girl had finally crossed her mind. "So… you and Honoka? Do you like her?"

"No." Shisui shook his head before tucking his arms beneath it as his eyes fell from the warmth, crème of the ceiling. They then landed onto her solemn, autumn stare. "I think we both know that Honoka is not who I want."

"Just like Fu's not who I want?" bemused, they stared at one another. In that frame of silence, Kyori felt weeks' worth of anxiety fade away completely. And she laid beside the unusually quiet Uchiha, wishing they had this talk a lot sooner. Maybe then she wouldn't have made a ridiculously hurtful hiccup? Maybe they would be together still? The burgundette wondered, while catching an eligible something wallowing in his pools of cimmerian. Want.

"So we do have things in common? Look at that!" he joked and quickly earned a light shove that had him chortling playfully at her annoyed expression. But still, they continued to talk more and more about their days spent apart.

It was strange how quickly they fell into their old routine. But it wasn't shocking as they had a relatively good friendship. It made the garnet haired teen how did they lose such a fundamental piece of their foundation?

"Hey Shisui?" Kyori's voice seemed small as she felt uncertain about them, but at the sound of her voice his laughter died down and his eyes trotted on hers. Once she had his attention, she then continued, "Since we're being honest tonight, I have to tell you that if we were to ever get back together… I don't think I could give you anything conventional." Her lips scrunched together in slight disgust and disappointment as she recalled her other relationships and how she was just shamelessly indecent, and desperate as she held very little respect for herself and tasked herself with making someone else happy. "I wouldn't know what to do."

"What are you telling me without actually telling me?"

"I just… I don't know how to be a girlfriend," she revealed to him with sadness in her voice. "It wasn't an option with Fu, and it certainly wasn't established when I was-"her words died on her lips, wondering if this was the time to be different, transparent like they used to be.

"When you were what?" a neat brow quirked. "With someone else?"

Troubled umber brown eyes dribbled with hesitance and fear as intrusive recollections spiraled about in her head. While a pair of worried onyx eyes bled on her, she knew that she couldn't withhold her past forever, and she didn't want to. Especially if she had someone trustworthy to share it with. Apart of her questioned if Shisui was the right person to tell, but if not him then who? Who could she ultimately trust?

"Kyori…" The gears within his mind were rolling as he thought of what she was about to say. There was no doubt in his mind that she was solely with Fu and just entertaining other guys when they had a fight. No, someone had given her enough incentive, reasons as well as having to be so promising for her to truly leave Fu and let go of the comfortability of her home. And it clearly wasn't him at the time so he wondered, "Who?"

"Juzo." she hissed out, her pretty features crumpling in pure repulsion as she remembered their relationship in all of its vile and demented, turbulence. She then sat up, feeling sick to her stomach before she brought her gaze onto his speculative, deep gaze.

"Did you leave Yamanaka for him?"

She swallowed thickly, but refused to give him an answer. She could tell that he had so many questions, all of which he didn't seem too willing to ask. So they sat in an uncomfortable silence.

Shisui then took this time to raise himself from her bed, and onto his feet as he thought it best to head out. "We can stop here for now."

"Wait!" her mouth seemed to move without much thought, followed by her arms as she reached out to him, hoping that he wouldn't leave her to wallow in her most painful of recollections.

"Kyori," the dark haired teen sighed, his back was facing her while his eyes were on the door. "I can tell you're uncomfortable so let's not push it."

"Okay." Glossy eyed, she stood beside him and clung to him closely while wondering. No, waiting for the day that she would grow brave enough to share. "Just stay here with me."

"Like, for now?" Shisui blushed, his dark set of eyes grew bashful as they fell to his side. "Or for the night?"

Kyori shook her head, her cheeks puffing cutely at his stupidity. "For the night."

Ochaaa here another one!

So, it looks like Kyori and Shisui are easily getting back into the groove of speaking to each other. And when I say easy, I mean, easy as in they are super close to tearing each other's clothes off lol. Whew they put the ten in tension! But it all comes to a halt as they are unsure of where they are as a unit, Shisui wants things to be a lot more defined while Kyori doesn't really know how to actually get there.

Will they be able to propel their relationship if not revive it fully? Or will they come to the conclusion that they're just better off as friends? And who is this Juzo person, and what significance does he hold on Kyori?

May we all find out later on, so make sure to favorite it, flame it, book it or keep it in your history (mobile users).
