AN: Another update slightly changing the original around so you may see an "I" instead of just "Xet" or "he did this" so still some SI writing im planning on changing that as i move forward.

[New Quest]

Save the royal family members before they are assassinated.

"Oh wait" said Xet, "I never seen something like this before this is a quest" "I never gotten a quest before now". "Did these occur naturally was because i was too young or something". "was it because there was no kiber crystal for me to find on Ilum", "but what about those duels could that not be considered a quest, oh well it was remarkably easy since i was going to win those matchups anyway" thought Xet.

This system message was a foreboding prompt clearly it had given me valuable knowledge about the mission" said Xet. "This was all very diffrent than what the jedi council had sent us here to be doing". Xet was laying in a steamy bathroom while he read the screen over again the word assassination echoing in his mind. "Well no time like the present" he said.

Xet had gotten up and started redressing him self in the bathroom. Redressing himself in some slight armor that didn't hamper his mobility he wore what could be considered Jedi battle armor underneath his usual appeal. He returned outside to venture into the stone halls that were placed throughout the castle. All in order to take my place in the active negotiations. Since that was where all the action is going to take place. Unbeknownst to Xet a figure darted behind cover watching as the young padawan dressed and left. I had arrived to the room where the negotiations were taking place in.

When Xet walked into the meeting he had found a two opponent's arguing inside the room. Allready one side was makeing exorbitant demands to the other demanding that they relieve all political control everything seemed unreasonable for the position we came to help. There were in stuff like zero tax proposals or the release a couple of off world smugglers that had been caught into the custody of the trade group. Xet and his Master Steel were listening to a couple of merchants that were slowly devouring all manner of businesses and driving anything local out. This wouldn't have really been an issue if they weren't caught smuggling things inside to sell to the most wealthy and side stepping the local tax enforcement. They had come to complain and strike a deal with the monarchy of Titan. The Titan monarchy had enough sidestepping the issue and called upon the Jedi to mediate. Currently neither side was giving an inch in the negotiation and we were also only introduced by the king as his esteemed guests. So our identity as Jedi was still unknown to the merchants as of yet. We were sent here as envoys and as protector to see if the merchants would agree to settle terms or to see weather or not they would do the stupid thing and start trouble while we were here.

"Yet you tax and you tax and you do nothing" a large man obviously one of the merchant said.

"The illegal shipment was caught in circuit we had no idea it existed" The trader said many were on board the vessel and it could have belonged to anyone" he argued. They were obviously caught red handed already and not wanted to sepperate themselves from this" The fat merchant argued.

"It is illegal to be transporting endangered and rare animals" "Such things should be common since" The monarch reminded them.

"You should not be telling me about what i can and cannot do" Both sides were in a heated argument "you are a monarch without crown or relic, you are not fit to serve without your relics" the merchant said.

"The royal treasures were stollen, but i expected you to have already known that" said the monarch. "I dont know what your talking about" spoke another merchant.

Merchants usually had a corrupted contact or two it wasn't that all started an illegal business but they needed a leg up from a corrupt contact if the ever wanted to become a legitimate business.

Many turned to dark deals or at least certain groups did, and while the Jedi Council would try to stop most of it from happening there were still cracks in their protection. The High Jedi Council was the ultimate decision on weather or not to accept a mission for somebody depending on circumstance but the council would go a long way before stopping and considering if what they were doing was the right thing during a mission. That's the reason why many considered that option if a Jedi wouldn't do it a mercenary or bounty hunter will, things were very one sided when it came to asking for their protection you could be terrible all your life and the instant you could be wronged if a Jedi was there you would be saved.

The Council of Jedi probably had to pick and choose missions based on the greater good of the galaxy most of the time they would use precognition before they did and meditated on the greater good of the galaxy.

Pulling alongside my master i was able to afford some time to ourselves. Since there was already a team sent in to kill the royals "The possibility of the castle being infiltrated was high" Xet said to his master. The Princess was listening in when i told my master about the possibility of intruders "What!" She exclaimed "How could it be possible for you to have found proof of that" she questioned Xet. "Trust me when i say that i had a feeling Master" Xet said. She looked between the two of us trying to connect the dots. "You two are Jedi" she said excitedly. "Where are your Lightsabers, i haven't seen Jedi before in my life" she said. I showed her my practice saber one flick of the button and she was very excited. She gasped as she saw the long glowing blue beam of an actual Jedi weapon. Apparently we were the first Jedi she had seen before today. "We shall see, what may occur". "Princess you are allowed to tell your father but please keep this secret to ourselves" said Master Steel

This meeting will span over the next couple of days and they would stay there four days. It was a matter of days before there was going to be an attempt at their life. It could be a raid or possibly even a poison but the attempt would very likely be taken place within a few days time. "I was resting in some of the hot baths when i had gotten the force vision" he told my master, this was new since he had never got a feeling on Ilum. "That was probably because my crystal wasn't even on the planet" Xet thought to himself.

The princess also backed my claim that he looked distracted in the bath. Both Xet and his master were looking at her while she blushed.We both looked at her while she sheepishly looked away blushing. My Master smiled to himself knowing what surfaced in her thoughts. Xet was given the task of scouting inside the castle for any possible enemy sneaking about during the day sadly my master needed to be there for negotiations and couldn't be stuck wandering outside.

The rest of the time it took for the meetings to conclude Xet was stuck escorting the princess. She had offered to give him a tour while he had accepted. He was usually in a diffrent room inside with the princess inside the castle every hour, she often asked questions about Jedi since she was curious. The reason this castle was the meeting point was because of its seclusion from other buildings royals would often find themselves protected in the wildest of places.

These Royals had a entire starship fleet that they would call upon like locusts. Recently they had usually been in hiding so that people couldn't track them and assassinate them. They had actually agreed to meet here to discuss peacefull negotiations between the two sides while my master was accompanying the King. During the night when the Princess slept i would guard her chamber, i would practice my meditation and be position to guard outside their bedrooms. In case there ever happen to try a murder attempt at night. The enemy's that were bound to show up eventually since this was the final day of negotiations and my mission only lasted for as long as we stayed here.

Xet had checked the entire building up and down for intruders even going up to Master Steel to see if he had felt anything off. This was weird since this was the final day they needed to keep them safe. They would soon be out of their jurisdiction and thay would need to return to the temple for a report.

The mission said to stop the intruders from completing their mission, with a few bonus goals, probably stopping them day one. Xet had checked throughout the estate for the intruders, he really hadn't found anything other than dust did but it wasn't until the final chance that they made a blatant move against some of the family. They had caught on that Master Steel was a Jedi early on and bid their time to polish the plan. Apparently they hired enough men to feel confident.

I was in the meeting room when a bunch of armed soldiers came through the unlocked front. My master ignited his lightsaber as a deterrent but they said "die Jedi skum" then they started blasting. Zet figured he should stay back to deflect blaster fire away from the VIPS. What followed was the subsequent waste of life that was the enemy as my master knocked them out.

The King was grateful for the help and called in an escort to escape with his daughter. Jim Steel and Xet Salazar had followed the cowards back to their base where they had decided a nearby archaic castle was going to be a safe base of operations. The castle had a cobwebs surrounding almost every corridor room they had searched in, Xet disliked this so he opened a window by forse pushing some of the dust out. Xet was very liberal when it came to his force power. Xet didn't feel like restricting himself when it came to using the force for menial things like opening a door. Just then the doors were blasted open by Xet when he began searching through the building.

The inside of the castle was still a dusty and dirty place it was a secluded spot and that was why it was chosen as a base. This castle was going to be their last defensive position before they were caught if not by them then by the King's military. Xet was otherwise unimpressed that that had ended when he beat a few of the thugs that had decided to stick around.

Other than that Xet had saved the day by keeping the main force sholders busy as Jim Steel went along the path, The few bruises later Xet had given solders a scare with his new fake lightsaber. They were terrified of the weapon at least but knocked them out with his fists in combat. The bad merchants had gotten away but not without their proof of innocence and money since we had some testimony of the artifacts being keeped away from the main hold. They were being stolen from people who had access to their treasure.

The Assassins that went after the King were properly delt with with by the Kings guards. One merchant had begun talking where his company held their artifacts. Mostly everything they stole was held in their bunker within a densely forested area.

We went to go retrieve the artifacts since our original mission of taking care of the VIP was over with. Some of the men the merchants sent were still held within the bunker that held their stuff and this all the proof we needed to chase away the evil people.

Zet had managed to store everything he found later in the basement as evidence. As the fire blazed throughout the building, thugs had started lighting up and running off while began to burn everything in order to destroy all evidence. He later placed everything on the outside of tree canopy for later pickup when he managed to escape. Ho looked like he was covered in soot from all the fire he had to escape. The Princess and the king were Royally grateful Xet managed to save so much of their priceless heirlooms.

Everyone had a discussion about the incident including the what would happen to the assassins and their employers. After all was done the King proclaimed his act one of heroism and when finished Zet recieved a kiss from the royal princess on my cheek and a promise to meet again. Other than that their were three more seprate incidents that had happened with Xet's and his Master while they were sent on diplomatic missions, but that's a story for another time.
