Chapter Two:

"This is the figure who destroyed the Helicarrier two days ago," Fury said, addressing the group. "He defeated 87 well trained SHIELD agents without breaking a sweat and didn't slow after he was shot in the abdomen. He appeared to have some sort of cloaking technology or abilities. Every single photo and video we got of him was distorted in some way. We have no idea how he got onto the ship. We have no leads on where he went afterwards. We have no leads on who he is or what his motivations were. I need you to track him down and bring him in."

"Now wait just a second," Tony Stark complained. "You've got nothing for us to work with and what? You expect us to do your dirty work for us?"

"We can't just let this person go free," Steve Rogers declared. "Someone with the power to destroy a Helicarrier and some kind of grudge match against SHIELD? That's a dangerous combination."

"Didn't you listen to what he said?" Tony asked, dismissing the Captain's concerns. "He was only there to rescue his cousin, Fury detained for some reason."

"How the hell did you get those recordings?" Fury demanded.

"What, you think I wouldn't notice when you send out an evacuation alarm on the Helicarrier? I listened to his little speech. Maybe if you hadn't pissed him off you'd still have a Helicarrier," Tony shrugged. "I don't like it when people withhold information from me."

Before Fury could go off on him, Vision cut in. "How many casualties?"

Fury glared at the android. "Two. The first was Henry Gilligan, the guard who was stationed inside the prisoner's cell had his wrist broken and did not attempt to flee the Helicarrier. The other was Terry Wiles, who locked himself in the hold and exported as much data as he could before the Helicarrier was sunk."

Tony grinned broadly. "See my point? Neither of those deaths can be blamed on this man."

"Regardless, he still poses a massive threat to national security," Steve Rogers argued. "He needs to be brought in and we need to figure out what his allegiances are."

"I say we make him an Avenger," Tony said. "It takes guts to storm a Helicarrier on your own, and power to actually pull it off. Plus, all the SHIELD agents he defeated? Back up in ten minutes. They all were given ample warning and none of them had any permanent damage. I don't know what kind of powers this guy has, but that takes precision and control. I'd wager he could do a lot more if he wanted to."

"This is not up for debate," Fury snarled. "You will bring whoever this is in."

"Uh, sorry, but you don't order us around," Tony said. "As far as I recall, you don't run SHIELD. Your advice is appreciated, but we'll take it from here."

Before Fury could even scream at him, Steve turned to Wanda. "Do you know anyone that could do that from Hydra?"

Wanda shook her head. "Pietro and I were the only successful…experiments. All the others died."

Before anyone else could ask any questions, two guards burst into the room. "Sir! We believe we found a match."

"Who?" Fury demanded.

"His name is Percy Jackson," the first guard said. He nodded to the other man beside him. "Agent Smith recognized from his time in the FBI. When he woke up, he filled us in and we did some digging."

Agent Smith stepped up. "Percy Jackson was on the FBI's most wanted list for a period of time. He was investigated for the terrorism on the Saint Louis Arch. The charges were eventually dropped due to evidence showing that he had been chased by a kidnapper, who also had taken his mother captive at the time. Despite his removal from the most wanted list, we kept an eye on him. He has a record of violence throughout his school years, and several instances of him disappearing without a trace over the years, only to show up in the most unlikely places."

"Where does he live now?" Fury demanded.

Percy Jackson was having a good day. His cousin Nico was safe and sound under the care of his boyfriend, Will Solace. Annabeth had gotten mad at him for getting shot, but that blew over rather quickly. She was going to come and meet him for a movie and cuddling tonight. He finished his semester at New Rome with pretty decent grades. Not even one grade below a C! He had applied to a couple aquariums for a summer job. It was no secret that Percy wasn't a fan of aquariums, but what better way for the fish to get treated better than to change the conditions himself? His mom was working on a new book, Paul was off for the summer, and Estelle was growing into an adorable little nuisance.

That wasn't to say he was free of divine shenanigans. After Percy and the gang defeated Gaea three years ago, there hadn't been any major divine threats, but gods were always fucking around and finding out. Percy had traveled with the Hunters of Artemis for a month to retrieve the Goddess of the Hunt's moon carriage after it had been stolen by Prometheus. He'd helped Demeter round up a bunch of grain spirits still loyal to Gaea and gotten them to negotiate with Grover. He'd convinced Tyche not to rig another Superbowl. Monsters still hunted him from time to time, but for the most part they steered clear. Almost all of them knew who the Son of Poseidon was, and none wanted to be added to the long list of monsters he'd slain. All in all, life was pretty good. Sure, he'd never really be free from the realm of the divine, but now that they weren't debating on whether or not he should die every time he met one, he didn't mind so much.

"Perseus Jackson!" A mechanical voice echoed from above. Percy cursed silently as a robot hovered in the sky above him. "We need you to come with us."

"Whatever you think I did, I didn't do it!" Percy threw up his hands exasperatedly.

"So what happened two days ago wasn't you?" The robot asked.

"Wait, that was you?" Percy asked. "Why the hell did you try to mug me if you had a goddamn robot suit!? If you need money that badly, just sell the damn thing!"

"He's not talking about a mugging," another voice chimed in. Percy turned to see a man in a star spangled suit with a giant metal frisbee.

"Oh! You're Captain America! Which means you must be Iron Man. You're the uh…the Assisters?" Percy wondered.

"We're the Avengers," Iron Man replied. "And we need you to come with us. We're kinda causing a scene."

Percy looked around, and sure enough people were gathering, pointing and taking pictures. Percy scowled. Great, now he was going to be on TV again.

"Well that's just great, but I'm kinda busy. You think we can take a rain check?" Percy asked.

"Afraid not," Captain America said. "You need to come with us. Now."

Percy bristled at the man's tone. "Sorry, I said I was busy. Check back later."

"I'm afraid that's not an option," Captain America said.

"Now hold on a second-" Iron Man said.

"Well whether you like it or not, I'm going. I'd say it was nice to meet you, but that'd be lying," Percy scowled.

"Natasha!" Captain America yelled. Suddenly something hit him in the neck, sending electric shocks all throughout his body. Percy cried out, before reaching up and plucking the device off of him. "Hit him again!"

Percy dropped, and he heard the sound of something electric going over his head. In an instant he was back on his feet and charging at Captain America. Captain America threw his shield at him, but Percy ducked, tackling the supersoldier. They crashed through a window and Percy landed on top, instantly pummeling Captain America with his fists. The same electric current hit him in the back, followed by a second and a third. Percy hissed, straightening, which allowed Captain America to throw Percy off him. Percy landed in the street and rolled, only to be hit by Iron Man's repulsor beams.

"Sorry kid, didn't mean for it to end up this way," Iron Man said.

"Yeah?" Percy said through gritted teeth. "I hear that a lot."

"Surrender now and this won't get any more painful for you," Captain America promised, sliding his shield back up his arm. He was joined by a redhead woman in a black tracksuit.

Percy bore his teeth at the three Avengers, the pain of the electric shocks coursing through his body. Captain America only narrowed his eyes at him. "Very well."

Captain America threw his shield again. This time, Percy didn't roll. He caught the shield, deflecting the repulsor beams with said shield. Then he channeled the electricity from the tasers from his back into the metal shield and threw it back at Captain America. He caught it, but the electric discharge sent him flying back. The three tasers in his back fell to the floor.

His domain of storms was definitely not something he was as proficient in as he should have been, but he had eventually learned how to redirect Thalia's lightning. She was so mad about it.

Percy jumped to the side, dodging the tasers and repulsor beams. Percy tore down the street, which had luckily been cleared of people, ducking under the many projectiles. Percy scanned for the redhead, but she had disappeared. Percy scowled. If he could knock her out, this fight would be a lot easier.

Oh wait, there was a human in that robot. Could he still knock him out even if he was in his armor? Well, only one way to find out.

As Percy ran, Iron Man flew around in front of him. "Now you have to come with us."

"I don't have to do shit," Percy scowled, ducking down an alleyway. Iron Man followed, and he turned, searching for the man inside's blood. Percy found it and pinched his vagus nerve. Iron Man dropped like a stone and Percy swore, jumping to catch him. Luckily a red energy wrapped around him and pulled him from the alleyway. Captain America, the redhead that tased him, another robot and a girl in a red robe with Auburn hair appeared in the alley's entrance. The robot, a green thing with a red face and golden cape flew up and caught Iron Man. Something on the robot's head drew Percy's attention. A yellow stone was perched into the robot's forehead.

Percy swore. "Is that an Infinity Stone?"

All of them froze at his declaration. Captain America glared at him. "You know what that is?"

"Unfortunately." Last year, he and Annabeth had been minding their own business on a little trip to England when they had ran into Jane Foster, spewing red energy all over the place. There, they had met Thor and helped him defend Asgard from the Dark Elves and defeat Malekith. It was there Odin had explained the Infinity Stones, and after the whole Ultron debacle, Thor had sent a raven asking him to keep an eye out for any.

Hopefully Thor knew the Avengers were keeping a robot with an Infinity Stone in its head.

But that wasn't the most pressing matter. He was facing a being with an Infinity Stone in its possession. Percy knew from experience those things were no joke.

"Come with us son," Captain America said. "This is your last chance for things to end peacefully."

As he spoke, he shifted the shield on his arm just a bit higher. Percy flicked his eyes to the shield. Annabeth told him once that it was supposed to be indestructible. Would it stand up to an Infinity Stone? At the very least, hopefully the robot wouldn't want to destroy his teammate's prized weapon.

"You started it Cap," Percy said, making a pinching motion at tracksuit girl. She fell unconscious.

"Take him down!" Captain America shouted. A beam of yellow cut the fire escapes, collapsing them. Instead of running deeper into the alleyway like they probably expected, Percy ran towards them instead. The robe girl made pulling motions, red energy wrapping around her hands. Percy dodged to the side, avoiding scraps of metal flying at him from behind. A yellow beam destroyed the brick above him, sending it crashing down on him. Percy jumped out of the way, continuing to run at them. Captain America stepped in front of teammates, raising his shield. Damn. Percy had been hoping he'd throw it again, but seemed like he learned his lesson. Fine.

Before he got in range of that shield, Percy jumped. He leapt up, over Cap's head. Cap tracked him, the shield following. Perfect. At the apex of his jump, as Cap's fist came up to meet his face, Percy willed the man unconscious. With reflexes faster than a cat's, Percy snatched the shield and wrenched it off his arm as Cap collapsed to the ground.

Unfortunately, he hadn't counted on the other two.

A beam of yellow energy struck him, tearing right through his abdomen, carving a perfect hole straight from the right side of his gut to the left. Percy fell to the ground and rolled.

"Vis!" The red robed girl screamed, a horrified expression on her face. Percy just groaned as she rushed over. "Stay still. We need to bandage it."

Percy just groaned, turning towards the robot. "Seriously!? You fucking blasted me man! Not cool."

Then he pushed the girl away gently. "Give me a second."

"You need medical attention!" She exclaimed.

"Hold on!" Percy cried, willing his blood back into his body. The girl watched in morbid fascination at the blood dragged itself back into the wound, and clotted. Fuck. He was not in great shape to fight right now. He needed a good long soak in the Atlantic right now.

"Oh-ok, I have no idea how you did that, but you still need help!" The girl cried.

Percy snorted. "With you psychos? I think not."

Percy pushed himself to his feet. "So what, are we doing this or what?"

"I apologize for the injury," Infinity Stone robot said mechanically. "But you still must come with us. We have the best doctors on the Earth."

"No can do. I'm not going with you after you try and kill me," Percy snapped.

"That was an accident!" Red Robe said. "Right Vis?"

"Yes. An accident," Robot said.

"How convincing," Percy muttered. "Sorry. Absolutely not. Hopefully I'll see you never."

"This is unacceptable," Robot said.

"Oh come on! You shot me!" Percy cried.

"Again, I apologize. But mission parameters indicate that you need to be brought in for questioning," Robot said. Percy narrowed his eye. Red Robe had been nice, but he needed to get out of here, and one robot with an Infinity Stone was more than enough to deal with. He didn't need a witch too. He narrowed his eyes, feeling for her blood. But when he tried to get a grip on it, he couldn't. There was something protecting her. His eyes flicked to the Infinity Stone. Fuck. The Stone gave her her powers. Only fair that it protected her too, he supposed.

"Fuck this," Percy said, turning to run. And run he did. Luckily he had his powers, or he would've spilled his guts all over the street. That being said, he was still moving like a fish in a current. The robot appeared in front of him, rising from the floor like a ghost, but Percy just smacked him with Cap's shield and sent him flying. Objects coated in red tried to block his path, but he just vaulted over them or smashed through them. He made his way towards the docks. He needed to be rid of them, and out in the sea they'd never find him.

The robot appeared in front of him. "Stop. Or I will be forced to stop you."

"Yeah right," Percy snapped, leaping up at him. The robot didn't even flinch, waiting for Percy to slam into him. Unfortunately for Percy, the robot didn't move either. That's ok. Percy slammed Captain America's shield into his face. The robot just grabbed him and threw him to the street. Percy rolled, bringing Cap's shield up, defending from the cutting beam that tore through asphalt like butter. Just then he felt a power unlike anything he's ever known wrapped itself around his body and raised him in the air. Percy snarled and thrashed, but he was trapped. The red robed girl came into view. "I am sorry. But you must come. And for that…"

She pressed her fingers to his head.

The world disappeared. Instead it was replaced with Camp Half-Blood. And it was burning.

A deep laugh echoed from the ground as Percy's eyes took in the scene. Clarisse, impaled on her own spear. Chiron, pierced by a hundred arrows. The Stoll brothers, beaten so badly no one could tell them apart. Leo, drowned, metal wires wrapped around his neck and hands and feet. Katie Gardner, a burnt out corpse. Hazel, her skull and spine ripped from her body. Nico, devoured by raving horses. Will Solace, his body littered in a thousand precise little cuts. Frank, legs ripped from his torso. Jason, crushed under the weight of a hundred rocks.

There was something squishy in his hands. A pair of eyes. Stormy grey eyes. Annabeth's eyes. Plucked from her head. And in that moment, he knew that he did it, it was all his fault—

Percy roared, swinging Cap's shield into the witch. She went flying, slamming into a car and caving in the doors, shattered glass flying all around. "You think you're the first to show me my fears, witch!? You think I haven't accepted what I am, what I can become!? I AM PERSEUS! THE DESTROYER! YOUR MIND GAMES ARE NOTHING I HAVEN'T BEATEN BEFORE! YOU WANTED ME TO COME!? THEN I WILL!"

Percy opened his hand and pulled. The red robed witch flew through the air and he grabbed her throat. Her blood obeyed him now, no matter how many cracks he felt along the way. He bashed away the robot's hands, trying to steal her away.

"When you wake, witch, know you live only by my mercy," Percy snarled. Then he forced her unconscious and threw her away, focusing his sole attention on the Stone bearer.

The Vision looked down at the human below him. No longer did any trace of annoyance, trepidation or hesitation line his features. Percy Jackson's face had melted into a mask of pure, unfathomable rage. All the more accentuated by red lights burning in his eyes. The Vision allowed a small frown to furrow his face. Wanda's spell had failed. She was supposed to show him his fears and incapacitate him. From his own words, he had seen a vision, but he did not succumb to unconsciousness. Whether it was his supposed acceptance of his fears, his previous encounters with beings with similar powers as Wanda, or his impressive mental fortitude, it did not matter. The spell was still active and clearly affecting his behavior. Previously, the Vision had noted that Perseus had intentionally avoided populated areas and dealt with the Avengers as gently, if efficiently as possible, even going as far as attempting to catch Tony when he fell. Now? The boy was not in control of his own mind. This foe would not have the same reservations. If this truly was the same individual who destroyed the Helicarrier, and it was appearing as though he is, this encounter was likely to escalate rapidly. In a split second, Vision made his decision. Vision sent a message to the Avengers compound informing them of the location of the several downed Avengers and request to send no backup, and turned and fled.

Percy stared at the robot as it turned away from him and flew off. "You dare run from me!? You started this fight! Don't fucking run when I finish it!"

Percy gave chase, ignoring the blood now streaming from his sides. When he saw that the robot was fleeing out into the ocean. Foolish creature. Didn't he know Percy was strongest in his father's domain?

Percy dove into the ocean, the cool water revitalizing him and filling the hole in his stomach. With but a push of his will, Percy gave chase to the fleeing robot. He was gaining on him, until now, he was just below. The robot may have been flying 50 feet above the waves, but he was not safe from the son of Poseidon.

Percy exploded from the surface of the ocean on a geyser and grabbed the robot's legs, pulling him down into the sea. Percy grabbed the robot's head, pushing it away when a yellow laser carved through the ocean's surface. The robot punched him, sending Percy careening through the waves. He quickly had to dodge the beam of light that came at him. Percy gestured, and a water spout launched the robot into the sky. At the same time, Percy called upon his father's domain of storms, and a bolt of lightning fell from the sky. The robot screamed, and a feral grin parted Percy's face. If it could bleed, it could die.

Percy rocketed through the water as the robot fell, slamming into it, tackling it and throwing it deeper into the depths of the sea. With a jolt, Percy raced after the robot, battering it with waves. Percy dodged around a yellow beam, then a second and a third. Percy dove at the robot, trying to tackle it, but Percy just dove straight through it without making contact. It was like the robot was a damn ghost! Percy shot away, but not quick enough as a beam of yellow burned through his bicep. Percy hissed, even as the water filled the aperture and began to heal it. Percy swam, avoiding blasts from the Infinity Stone. Percy pushed forward with both hands, propelling an enormous blast of water at the water, but it just passed through it without disturbance. Percy frowned. How was he supposed to kill something he couldn't touch?

Percy fingered Riptide in his pocket. If he couldn't hurt the robot, would a divine metal? Only one way to find out.

Percy rushed at the robot, dodging around the Stone bearer's blasts. As he was just a few feet away, Percy uncapped Riptide and plunged it into the robot's stomach. Percy was rewarded by a pained cry, and the flickering as the robot became solid again. A feral grin split Percy's face as he thrust the sword into the robot's body, propelling them to the bottom of the sea. They crashed into the ocean bed, tossing up a spray of sand. The robot wore a pained expression, and almost looked like it was rebooting. Percy wanted to laugh. How pathetic. Percy pulled Riptide out of the robot slowly and raised it over his head, ready to decapitate it.

"That's enough, Perseus," a voice said as something grabbed his wrist. Percy snarled, whirling around with a blast of seawater. The diety looked unimpressed as she glared at him. "I understand that you are not of the correct mind right now, but if you dare attack me again, I will smite you here, brother."

"Kym," Percy hissed. "Lovely to see you again. But I'm kinda in the middle of something, so if you don't mind, piss off."

"You are about to slay one of Earth's defenders. This petty squabble has already lasted too long. Control yourself," Kym told him.

"They started it! Now I'm making an example out of him. I'm going to tear the Infinity Stone from his skull and send his fucking head to their hideout, and if they come after me again I'll kill them all!" Percy roared.

"I knew you'd turn out like them. You're the spitting image of Zeus," Kym said.

Percy recoiled. "What!?"

"You're no better than the gods. Vile, cruel and selfish," Kym said matter-of-factly. "You go wherever you want, killing who you please and taking what you like."

"I'm nothing like them!" Percy roared.

"Then put down the sword," Kym commanded. Percy scowled, glaring down at the robot, who was looking between the two. With a disgusted grunt, Percy tossed Riptide to the side and stepped off the robot. Kym waved her arm and the robot flashed away. "Now brother, we must do something about this spell that witch put on you."

"I'm fine. The spell didn't work," Percy said.

"Oh but it did. Else the storm you've been sustaining wouldn't be buffeting New York," Kym said.

"I'm not summoning any storm," Percy snarled.

"Are you sure about that?" Kym said, and the water pushed the two of them to the surface. 30 foot waves crashed around them, and dark gray storm clouds darkened the sky. Fat, angry raindrops tore into the sea as lightning cracked across the sky. "It sure seems that way to me."

"You're the goddess of sea storms!" Percy yelled. "This is your fault!"

Percy felt Riptide reappear in his pocket and pulled it out, uncapping his sword. Kym just rolled her eyes. "Don't you feel it? This storm is yours, Perseus. Normally, I would congratulate you. It's very impressive. But when you return to your proper state of mind, you will regret it, and something as beautiful as this is not to be regretted. So calm yourself."

"I can't!" Percy yelled. A sharp crack of thunder punctuated his frustration. "There's this undertow in my head that keeps dragging me down!"

"That's the thing about undertows, Perseus," Kym said. "You have to swim with them. Let the spell pass. Feel the rage inside you and bring it forth, and let it go."

Percy grit his teeth, feeling the rage inside him grow. The storm grew more violent. The winds whipped past, ripping past him with violent abandon. Lightning lit up the blackened sky, and thunder was its constant companion. The waves grew in size, thrashing violently.

And as soon as the storm reached its peak, Percy felt his rage begin to fade. The winds calmed, the seas stilled and the clouds dispersed. Percy collapsed into the water. Kym was nowhere in sight, but that was ok. He was sure that the gentle current on his back would take him home.

Thor strode through the halls of the Avengers compound, a content smile on his face. It had been months since he had seen his friends on Midgard, and his search through the Nine Realms for the Infinity Stones had been fruitless. Heimdall had insisted that he come here, but would not tell Thor the nature of the request. Thor had sensed no signs of battle, so at the very least that was assured.

Thor strode into the large meeting room where everyone had gathered. He grinned broadly and called out; "My friends!"

The Avengers turned to him. Stark was the first to greet him. "Thor! Heya buddy, it's good to see you back on Earth."

"It's good to see you again as well Stark," Thor said, clapping the man on the back.

"How's the stone search going?" Sam asked.

"Not well, I'm afraid. The Nine Realms are in an upset, but there is little to be found in the way of the Stones. Whoever searches for them remains well hidden," Thor said.

"What are you doing here then?" Captain America asked.

"Heimdall requested that I come here. He neglected to tell me the nature of my visit, so tell me friends! What calamity has befallen you that I may aid in?" Thor asked.

"I'm glad you asked," Tony said. "See, we've got this problem with a kid named Percy Jackson-"

"Ah! Percy Jackson! He has asked for your aid as well then? It must be dire. Percy does not interact well with mortals. If he has asked for your help, I would be honored to fight by his side once again!" Thor declared.

"Wait, you know this kid?" Rhodey demanded.

"Of course! The feats of Percy Jackson are legendary! Even in the halls of Asgard the ballads of his quests and triumphs are sung! When Malekith threatened Asgard, and desired the Aether, he aided me in the defense of my home and the return of the Aether. He is a courageous and honorable warrior, a powerful ally and a good friend," Thor said. There was silence at that. Thor looked around the room, observing the strained expressions on his friends' faces. Was something wrong?

"Uh, well, I don't know how to tell you this Thor, but uh, Percy Jackson destroyed a Helicarrier and attacked us," Captain America said.

"I see," Thor said slowly.

"Well—" Tony said. "We may have attacked him first. He was defending himself."

"You call what he did to Vision 'defending himself'?" Captain America demanded.

"Hey, he was under Wanda's spell!" Tony said. "You can't blame him for that!"

"He stabbed Vision! You have no idea to even fix him!" Captain America yelled back.

"Avengers!" Thor yelled. The fighting stopped. "Percy Jackson has been entitled as a Friend of Asgard. Any further actions you take against him will be seen as an act of war. I will speak with Odin on your behalf, as you were unaware of his status. But should you not cease your attempts to attack him, Asgard will defend him."

"Woah now, Thor, you can't just expect us to drop it like that! I mean, I was never for taking him in in the first place, but I mean, we've got to do something," Tony said. "We can't let this guy run around willy nilly doing God knows what. Who knows what kind of damage he could do?"

"Percy Jackson is very dangerous. To his enemies. He does not attack without provocation and holds the best of intentions in his heart," Thor said. "He will cause you no trouble if you do not seek it."

"Hey Thor did—oh uh is this a bad time?" Percy's voice appeared from thin air.

Thor turned to see an Iris message floating behind him, showing Percy's face. There were a few exclamations behind him, but Thor ignored them. "Greeting Percy! How fare you?"

"Uh, good, I think. Listen, I was just calling to make sure you knew your buddies, the Aardvarks, or something, have an Infinity Stone with them," Percy said.

"Yes Percy, I am aware. I helped bring Vision to life, after all," Thor said.

"Ah. Cool," Percy said. Percy looked around him to the Avengers. "Sorry about stabbing your robot."

"I'll accept your apology when you tell me how you managed it," Tony said. "Vision's phasing abilities and his Vibranium body should be nearly impossible to penetrate!"

"My sword is made from a magic metal. Listen, if you need help fixing him, I know a guy," Percy said.

"You know something better at fixing stuff than me?" Tony snorted. "Yeah right."

Percy shrugged. "If you say so. We cool?"

"Absolutely not! You destroyed a Helicarrier!" Captain America said. "You killed two men!"

"They took my baby cousin. He's been taken from me before, and it's never happening again. So next time, keep your paws off my cousin," Percy said. "And I gave everyone on that ship ample warning. I didn't destroy any lifeboats or rescue ships."

"That's enough. I informed them that you are under the protection of Asgard. They will not pursue you any further," Thor said, looking back at the Avengers. None of them met his eyes.

"Ah. Cool. Thanks Thor," Percy said.

"You are most welcome, Perseus," Thor replied, waving a hand through the Iris message, causing it to disappear.
