Chapter 5 - Dumbledore's Decision
Meanwhile, somewhere far away from Harry and Lily's house, in Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore was having a meeting with Minerva McGondall, Snape and Hagrid
"You can not be serious!" Snape shouted, slamming his fist onto the table, "I'm afraid it is true" Dumbledore said, "My decision is final, and you must allow it, Professor Snape"
Snape looked at Dumbledore with vengeful anger as he heard of Dumbledore's decision not to let Snape be together with Lily, for if he did, it would lead Voldemort closer to Harry
"But Lily is supposed to be my wedded wife!" Snape said in anger, "Destinded to never apart from me, and it is from today!"
Dumbledore looked at Snape in worry, got up from his chair and walked to the window of his office
"You must know that if you did become married to my top student, it will bring Voldemort much closer to the boy" Dumbledore said, looking through the window, watching Hogwarts students were practicing their broom flying
"We must do whatever it takes to protect the boy" McGondall said, taking a sip from her glass, "Which means that you must stay away from her, Snape" Snape stared at McGondall, vengeful anger came from within his eyes
"Oh, you might want to look out, Mrs. McGondall, he might throw a bit of tantrum" Hagrid whispered to McGondall, laughing at Snape's look
"Silence, Hagrid!" Snape snapped, making Hagrid jump, "Lily is different, I will not loose her for as long as I live, even it means fighting Voldemort again" He then said calmly, but still in anger
Dumbledore walked from the window and sat back in his chair, "Well, I would love to see that happen, Professor Snape, but i'm afraid that it is final" He said, holding his glass
"Listen, Dumbledore" Snape said, "If I can not be with Lily then no one can! As the prophecy has stated, only a certain chosen couple will have the right to protect the boy, and I demand that I! Shall have that honour!" He then got out of his chair and prepared to leave
"Professor Snape, if you leave this room, you will be pulled from the list of honourable teachers!" Dumbledore demanded, Snape looked coldly at Dumbledore when he said it
"I shall believe that... when I see it" Snape said as he then left the room
Hagrid looked at Dumbledore with a worried look on his face, "I have a bad feeling about this, Dumbledore" He said
"Do not worry, Hagrid" Dumbledore said, reassuring Hagrid, "It will not be long, before he knows his secret"
This was because Dumbledore knew... that Snape... was the Half Blood Prince
