After lunch Midari looked at her phone to check for any notifications from the Student Council Secretary. Nothing new. Kirari was late to her own morning meeting so individual performance meetings were cut for most Student Council members including herself. Something felt off between Kirari and Sayaka, Sayaka stared at the president more than usual, blushed deeply once noticed by said president, and Kirari twirled a black strand of hair between her right index and middle fingers which fell on her lap when Sayaka bent down to hand her a folder. Midari wondered if Yuriko noticed anything strange based on the subtle actions from this morning. She created a mental note to contact Yuriko after class sometime this week. While walking down a hall, the thought of today's lunch resurfaced.

'Ahh that sandwich was delicious, I need to remember to make another as a snack when I get home.' She approached the Beautification Council Office at the end of the hall to the left side. The office was positioned deep within the academy, although the back side of the office showed tall, wide, glass windows that encompassed most of the back wall. The window wall displayed a wide view of a forest surrounding the back end of the academy and a river cutting said forest in two from afar. After being designated and accepting this position as a Student Council member, Kirari gave Midari a quite generous redecoration budget for the Beautification Council Office. Furniture bought was stark with thin designer tables, chairs, and couches. A few widescreen ultra high definition smart televisions spread out throughout the office for Beautification Council members. One major change from the designs of previous beautification presidents besides the window wall was the installation of bathrooms and an "l" shaped kitchen with an island. These two additions were utterly expensive and required the absorption of the supply storage rooms originally next to the office, but money was none of a concern for Midari with such a full fiscal fund at her discretion. Midari decided to stick to a color scheme of white, black, grey, and purple as well as tints and shades connected to those colors except black. Overall, she designed it with a modern feel yet with a few moments of unambiguous disruptions that accompany life, especially in this academy.

As Beautification Council President she must be designated at her office for a minimum of an hour a day within school hours, time slots are at the discretion of the Beautification Officer herself. She opened the door to see only one person, the Office Secretary, Mako Igri, on time as always. Mako greeted Midari, "Hello Beautification Officer Ikishima." Midari sighed from her secretary's formality. 'Mako you do not need to be so rigid around me, especially when it is just the two of us. The etiquette is killing me.' Mako apologized, "I cannot help myself Midari. There were no calls prior to your arrival. A package did appear in front of the office door when I came from my second class. It does not have any markings besides your name so I just left it on the desk in your room." 'Thanks Mako.' Midari entered her personal office and closed the door. It was designed with the same color scheme. A large, three seat black couch placed in front of the gray metal desk with a decent amount of space between the two. Midari had academic certificates and council achievements placed along the walls with family photos to add a sense of wholesome professionalism. What caught her eye immediately was the box. It was small, wrapped in a crinkled academy newspaper and her name written hastily on it with a red marker. 'Yeah, this doesn't give me a serial killer vibe at all.' She took out a personal knife and cut open the box to reveal a blank white case. Before opening the case she heard a clunking noise coming from said case. This piqued her curiosity. Once opened, it revealed seven rounds for a .44 magnum, one unfired bullet and six empty shells. 'Hmmm. This Monday just got more interesting.'
