Today is Wednesday, or hump day if you're nasty. Midari was dropped off by her mother for another day at Hyakkaou Private Academy. She pinky promised Midari that there would not be any unexpected altercations making her late to pick up her own daughter today. No matter, Midari has been pretty stagnant in her mood. Something though was off, gnawing in the back of her mind since Monday. Who sent her that message with a bullet and empty shells, why? How many of the members besides Yuriko and herself have received a similar message? Is this person merely targeting Kirari for her position? Does this person want to completely dismantle the status quo? Or is this simply a practical joke on certain members of the council, thinking that Midari is easy to fuck with? It is a bit ironic though, she has a .44 magnum revolver in her beautification bag she brings every day to the academy. An easy question to ask is how the hell is she allowed to bring a gun to Hyakkaou Private Academy? Well it is not that hard to understand, it is because she can. It also helps that Kirari could give two fucks about her weaponry. Any incidents involving a member of the Student Council gets thrown under the rug. Every president presiding over this academy has skeletons in their closet. Many of the council members would argue that Kirari has set a record in taking care of 'problematic situations.' But hell, whoever sent Midari and Yuriko those messages must not have been discovered under Kirari's radar, yet.

After lunch Midari went to the Beautification Council Office to perform her officer sessions for at least one hour. This was a blessing in a way to Midari. Most people are afraid of Midari and her overall demeanor. Members of the Beautification Council are welcomed to join although they tend to keep to themselves. Midari does not keep a very tight leash on her members much. As long as they keep themselves out of unnecessary conflict, follow Midari's orders without hesitation, and come to the mandatory end of week council meetings to discuss performance and internal issues, they are practically free to spread the wisdom that the Beautification Council has to offer. So when it comes to Midari's hour time slot at the academy, most days it is practically an unofficial study hall period.

Once she opened the door to the Beautification Council Office she was immediately greeted by an overly happy Mako Igri. "Hi Midari! Welcome back for another day at the office!" Midari let out a soft chuckle. 'Hello Mako. I need whatever you are taking to stay this positive. Your continued optimism is impressive despite working for someone like me.' "You flatter me Midari. I don't actually have a secret to being uplifting. I sleep eight hours every night at the same time, take yoga at the academy and at home, I lay off processed foods generally and focus on meats and vegetables while eating little carbohydrates, I write in my diary, and I take a vitamin D supplement every morning as that has been shown to influence mood regulation." 'Hmm. I guess I could try some of those things and see where it takes me.' Mako takes out an unopened bottle of vitamin D tablets out of her backpack and hands it to Midari. "Here, I have more at my home." She is not unaccustomed to this kindness but is surprised by this from someone that is not related to her. 'Thank you Mako. Is there anyone waiting to speak to me for my daily open slot?' "Actually yes." This surprised Midari. It has arguably been months since the last time a person came to talk to her that was not a member of the Student Council, Beautification Council, or her secretary. 'Really, who?' "It is a transfer student by the name of Yumeko Jabami." Midari had a nervous twitch in her neck. 'Please send her in now Mako. That will be all.' Mako noticed a change in Midari's tone. "Are you sure that you need nothing else?" Midari's pupil shrunk to the size of a pinhead. 'Yes Mako, I will call you if I need anything else. Thank you again for the pills.' Midari unlocked the door to her presidential office and waited for her guest to arrive. A couple minutes passed and nothing. Midari decided to pour herself a glass of port wine. 'This feels like a tease.' Immediately following that statement the office door opened with a woman appearing in the doorway. She walks forward. "Hello. My name is Yumeko Jambami. I don't know if you remember me but I accidentally bumped into you." She extended her right hand. 'Hello Ms. Jabami. I do recall that moment very well. I was not exactly paying attention to my surroundings.' She extended her right hand to shake Yumeko's right hand. 'Being the first non-council member in months to come here, I was not expecting someone like you to show up but nevertheless; how may I assist you today?' She noticed Yumeko's red irises glow. "I can think of a few ways Beautification Officer Ikishima." 'Please, call me Midari.' Her yellow iris began to glow with excitement.
