Walking back into the manor with both of her sisters following behind, Prue stopped in the middle of the living room with her arms crossed over her chest as she looked up the ceiling." Leo!" Prue calling out her brother in law and their white lighter. If anyone knows more about other white lighters more than anyone, it would be Leo.
The same time Cole shimmered in as he walked up to Phoebe." Hey, what's going on?" He asked as he wrapped his arm around Phoebe's waist.
" Oh, our innocent might be a whitelighter." Phoebe answered as she looks up at Cole.
" Wait, what?" Cole asked in confusion.
Leo appeared in blue lights as soon as he heard Prue calling him." Prue what is it?"
" I think- We all think our innocent is a white lighter. "
" What? How do you know that?"
" Because just as Shax was about to attack her, she orbed out and a few seconds later she reappeared again. I mean do you have any other better explanation?" Prue asked Leo as she, raised her brows for a moment.
" Is it possible that maybe she didn't know she's a white lighter?" Phoebe asked as she placed both hands on her hips as she, stood by Prue.
" Now, why would she not know that?" Leo asked in confusion as he never heard of a fellow white lighter not knowing that they're a white lighter. It just didn't make sense to him.
Phoebe shrugs her shoulders. " Maybe it's because she looked kinda freaked out as soon as she reappeared again."
" Um, do you think maybe you can go up and talk to the elders. Maybe they can make sense of all this." Prue suggested. Prue wants to know more about their innocent and before Shax tries to attack again.
Leo looks over at Piper for a moment." I will be back as soon as I can." He said as he orbed out and went up to talk with the elders.
" You know, maybe I can go underground and see if I can find out more about your innocent." Cole offered as he looks at Prue and then down at Phoebe.
" Cole, I really don't think it's a good idea for you to go down there. Especially since still has bounty hunters looking for you, and he wants your head on a silver platter. No, Cole it's too dangerous." Phoebe pleaded with Cole. Ever since they both escaped the underground, the source has been wanting Cole dead for his betrayal.
Cole leans down as he kisses Phoebe gently." Don't worry I will be fine. I will be back before anyone catches me down there." Cole said softly as he kisses Phoebe once more and little deeply this time as he shimmered out and down the underground.
Prue started to walk towards the stairs." I'm gonna go check the book of shadows and see if there's something missing." Prue still can't understand why that vanquished spell didn't work this time when it should have. It was a power of three spell, so it should've worked and Prue can't seem to figure out why.
Walking into the San Francisco Memorial hospital, Paige walked up to the front desk." I'm here to see Shane Mitchell. Can you tell me which room he's in please?" Paige feels guilty for what happened earlier tonight. Something strange happened tonight and she couldn't understand why or who hell that was who attacked her and Shane tonight. What she also can't figure out, where the hell did her so go called power came from either.
" Are you family?" The reception asked as she looked up from her computer.
Paige nods her head." Yeah, I'm his girlfriend. "
The reception nods her head." He's in room 307 it's on the third floor."
Paige nods her head thanks and walked away from the front desk and headed towards the elevators. Something freaking is going on and Paige has no idea why or who's after her. She doesn't even understand why she suddenly disappeared and then reappeared again within two seconds.
Walking straight out of the elevator once it got to the third floor, Paige walked straight to Shane's hospital room." Oh my God, Shane!" Paige exclaimed as she made it to his side and quickly wrapped her arms around his neck." I'm so sorry for just leaving you behind like that, are you okay?" She asked as she placed her hand against his face.
Shane shook his head as he gave Paige a small smile." I'm fine Paige. I might have a bruises and a concussion, but other than that. I'm fine. Did you talk to the cops yet?"
Paige drew her hand back as she gave him a very confused look." Why would I do that?"
" Well, because they want to know who attacked us and why. I sorta told them that you probably saw whoever it was that attacked us." Shane explains as he looks at Paige for a moment. " You did see whoever it was, didn't you? "
" I... I don't know... "
" Well did you? " Another voice asked as soon as they walked into the room and inturpt the couple in a middle of their conversation. " Did you see the man who attacked you earlier tonight?"
" Who are you? " Paige asked suspiciously as she crossed her arms over her chest as she was wondering why he just barged into her boyfriend's room like that without permission, and when he had no business either.Even if he was wearing an expensive suit.
" Oh, please forgive me. I'm inspector Cortez." He answered as he handed his business card to Paige as he watched her reductly taking the card from his hand." I'm investigating Homicide."
" Homicide? Nobody was,killed." Paige said as she looked at the inspector very confusely as she was why or who was murdered as she can't seemed to remember if she heard of any news of someone being murdered.
" There was a doctor who was,murdered at the Halliwell's just couple of months ago, Ma'am and if it's by the same monster who attacked you two tonight, I would do anything in my power to catch this guy before he strikes again. You two are very lucky to be alive."
Paige gave the inspector a short nod." Um thanks. But I don't know how I can help really, since I didn't really get a good look at him. I'm sorry." Paige was telling the truth as she really didn't look at who or whatever the hell that attacked her and her boyfriend tonight. As matter of Paige doesn't remember much really. The last thing she remembers was that she saw three women at the rooftop and then she ran out of there quickly.
" Well, just in case you do remember, or if anything comes up. My number is on the card. Just give me a call. Have a good rest of your night you two." Inspector Cortez said with a nod as he turned around and left the room, leaving the couple alone.
" What you gonna do?" Shane asked with concern.
" I don't know." Paige answered as she placed the card in her back Jeans pocket and leans over and kisses his cheek gently. " Get some rest, I will come by in the morning to check on you." She said with a small smile as she walked out of Shane's room after closing the door behind her and headed back towards the elevators.
While Phoebe, Prue and Piper were patiently waiting for Leo to come down and Cole to come back up with more information about their innocent. Piper noticed Prue really hasn't said anything since she came down from the attic after looking through the book of shadows.
" Prue? What's wrong? "
" I don't know, this whole thing just doesn't make sense to me. I mean Shax the most powerful demon that we've ever faced attacked our innocent, who survived the attack by orbing out and back in a few seconds later, and doesn't even know that she's a whitelighter. The vanquish spell that should've worked, didn't work. It barley wounded him. None of this is making any sense."
As soon as Prue stopped talking Both Leo and Cole appeared in front of the girls at the same time. Leo sighs as he talked first." According to the elders they have no idea who she is or why she can orbed in and out as a whitelighter. " He said as he walked over to Piper and sat down next to her.
Prue exhales deeply as she looked over at Cole who also took his seat by Phoebe." What did you find out?"
Cole looked over at Phoebe for a moment before turning his attention back to Prue and Piper." From what I learn is that the reason why the source sent his most powerful demon after Paige, is because... he seems to believe that... she can be another charmed one."
" What?! " Everyone asked at the same time as they all looked at Cole with pure shock on their faces as they were all trying to process on what Cole just told them.
" Are you sure? " Phoebe asked as she brought her eyebrows together.
Cole didn't really give her answer as he just shrugs his shoulders.
" Wait a minute, how is our innocent... our sister? I mean is it even possible? Prue?" Piper asked her older sister as she looks at her for a moment.
Prue shook her head as she stood up with her arms across her chest as started to walk back and forth across the living room." There's no way, she's our sister, let alone a charmed one. I mean I would have known if mom was pregnant, and I think we all would've noticed another baby in the house." Prue answered as she continued to walk back and forth.
" Not unless she gave the baby up and kept her a secret, for her own protection. " Leo answered as he shrugs his shoulders.
Prue stopped walking as she exhales deeply." Why would mom, hide something that important? And why wouldn't she tell us? I mean we are her daughters."
" Besides the charmed ones are supposed to be power of three, not the power of four. It says in the book of shadows." Phoebe said as she clearly remembered the first spell that gave them their powers. It clear said to our sister's three, not four.
" There's only one person who can explain why this is happening." Piper spoke up as she looked at everyone around her.
" Who?" Prue asked as she wonders where Piper is going with this.
" Grams." Piper answered simply as she got up from the couch and headed up the stairs and towards the attic as everyone followed her." Grams knows everything about our family history. So she's gotta know about this." She explained as she walked up to the book of shadows and opened up to the page of the summon spell.
" Hear these words. Hear my cry. Spirit from the other side, come to me. I summon thee. Cross now the great divide." Piper chanted as she summons their grams to them.
As soon as Penny appeared in front of everyone with a very confused look on her face." Piper...why did you summon me, and why is everyone here? What's going on?" She asked as she has no idea what's this is all about. Or why everyone is staring at her.
" Grams. The source sent Shax to attack our innocent, because for some odd reason. He seems to believe that she is another charmed one some how." Piper answered as she looked at grams as she crossed her arms over her chest.
" I... I have no idea what your talking about. " Penny answered nervously.
" Grams, you were like the worst liar when you were alive. But now dead, your more worst."
" Look Grams." Prue started to say as she walked up to her grams." If you know something about our innocent, you gotta,tell us. We deserve to know the truth." Prue said as she looked into her Gram's eyes as she waits for grams answer.
Grams looks at everyone including her three girls." I can't say, I'm sworn to secrecy, I'm sorry. But my hands are tied with this one girls."
" By who?" Phoebe asked.
" By me." Patty answered as soon as she appears in front of her daughters and next to her mom." I asked your grams to keep something from you girls. The family secret." She answered as she looks at three of her girls with sympathy.
" What family secret?" Piper asked as she already getting tired of this conversation already and wants straight answers already.
" You might as well tell them Patty, they do deserve to know."
Patty looks at her mom as she exhales deeply with a nod." I guess you're right. The girls do deserve to know what's going on." She said as she looks at her girls and started to tell them her secret." A few month after your father walked out on us, I started seeing Sam more." Patty started to explain as she started to walk back and forth across the attic floor.
" Who's Sam?" Cole asked with curiously.
" Patty's whitelighter." Leo answered as he looks over at Cole.
" Ahh, I see. I guess the forbidden fruit doesn't fall from the family tree I see." Cole quipped with a smirk and a small chuckle. But the moment he noticed Piper giving him the death stare, he quickly shut his mouth.
" You girls were still little at the time, you all didn't know that I was pregnant. So instead I just told you all that mommy was just getting a little fat. The only person who knew was your grams and of course Sam. After the baby was born, I wanted to keep her... so did Sam... But..." Patty stopped for a moment as she looks at her mom.
Penny placed her on Patty's arm and continued for her." But I suggested that it would be best for everyone if they gave the baby up for adoption. See Piper, before you and Leo were even allowed to be together, let alone get married. Back then it was forbidden to let a whitelighter and a witch be together... so I suggested that your mom and Sam to the baby to a local church. "
" Which we did, and the nun there promised to find the baby a good home, which she did and the baby was able to grow up with a normal life and good parents."
" Okay, hold it a minute. Are you telling us, that girl... our innocent... is our sister?" Phoebe asked as she stood beside Prue as she, looks at her grams and mom.
" She's your baby sister." Patty answered with a nod.
" Well, their half baby sister."
" Yeah, but by my half. Which makes her a witch. The fourth charmed one." Patty explained with a smile as she looks at her three girls.
" How's even that possible? Our legacy relies on the power of three. It says so in the book of shadows. " Piper said as she couldn't believe all of this was happening and was trying to wrap her mind around all of this. This was,getting too much for Piper and she was starting to get a headache already.
" That's right, until now... With the new power of four, you girls will be the very most powerful witches the magical community has ever seen. Not even the warlocks and demons will be a match for all four girls. All you girls gotta do is be around that book again, and all four of you girls will be charmed... again. It's your destiny. "
" Come on mom. We should go. It's up to them now." Patty said softly as she took her mom's hand as she look over at her girls." You girls will be fine, all four of you girls. I love you. Blessed it be." She said as both and Penny disappeared.
" What do we now?" Phoebe asked as she looks at Prue for a moment.
Prue just shrugs her shoulders." I honestly don't know. " Prue answered as she turned around and walked out of the attic heading down stairs towards the kitchen, with everyone following behind her. Prue knows what her mom and grams are saying is true and she understands why her mom did what she did, but Prue can't ignore the fact that they kept their baby sister from them all of these years.
As Prue reached the last step, she heard a knock coming from their front door. Prue sighs softly as she walked up to the door. As she wrapped her hand around the doorknob and pulled the door open, she found their innocent- their baby sister standing in front of her.
" Um... I know it's late and I'm sorry for showing up unannounced like this. But I need to know what's going on, and what exactly happened tonight." After Paige visited Shane at the hospital, she was heading home but instead she found herself here standing outside the Halliwell's home and right in front of one of the sisters, who must be the oldest and looks little like her.
Paige quickly shook her head as she realized coming here was a mistake. " I'm sorry, this was a bad idea... so I'm going to go." She said as she turned around and started to walk back down stairs heading back to her car.
" No, wait!" Prue called out as she followed the woman down stairs. If her and her sisters are going to Vanquish Shax for good this time, they're going to need her and who knows maybe the new power of four will be good. it would definitely make Vanquishing more easier.
" Look you came here for answers, and my sisters and I are the only ones who can give them to you. Come in side. " Prue said as she placed her hand against the woman's back leading her back up to the manor. " What's your name by the way? "
" It's Paige."
Of course it would be another P. It's a,tradition in their family that all girls who are witches to have their first name start with a P. Prue gave her a small smile." Well, it's nice to meet you Paige. My name is Prue." She said as she opened the door and walked into the manor with Paige.
" Hey guys. This is Paige. Paige these are my sisters. Phoebe and-"
" And Piper." Paige finished for Prue." Yeah, I know. You own a night club called P3, I've been there a few times, and it's great." She said with a smile.
Piper nods her head a little. " Thanks. It's nice to meet you." She said as she stuck her hand out to shake Page's hand. Even though Piper still isn't too sure about the whole power of four thing, at least she can put her personal feelings to the side for now and not be rude.
" You too." Paige said as she shook Piper's hand. But quickly pulled her hand back as soon as she noticed a flash of light coming down from the chainere. " Okay... what the hell was that?" She asked as she was confused right now.
" I think you're supposed to be here." Leo chimed in.
" What are you talking about? Who are you?"
Before Leo had a chance to answer Paige's questions, Shax suddenly appeared and without hesitation was about to attack the sisters again, but didn't get the chance to when Leo suddenly jumped on the Demon's back preventing him from attacking the girls. " GO UPSTAIRS!! " Leo yelled out.
' Come on!!! " Prue exclaimed as she pulled her sisters and Paige up to the attic and to the book of shadows. " Paige we need you to say this spell with us. Okay?" Prue asked as soon as she opened the book to the Vanquishing spell they need.
" What spell? Are you telling me, that you guys are witches?" Paige asked as she still doesn't know what the hell is going on. " Most importantly, what the hell was that?"
" We'll explain later." Prue answered as soon as Shax appeared in front of them. Once all four sisters said the Vanquishing spell and the moment Shax was vanquish, she sighs in relief as she was finally happy this nightmare was over. It may not bring the doctor back, but at least they're still alive and Shax isn't.
" You do know, that Shax was just the messager, right? We gotta get to the source." Phoebe said softly.
" The Source of what?"
" The Source of all evil." Piper answered as she looks over at Paige.
Paige gasps as she slowly started to back up away from them." What did you guys turned me into? " She asked and without waiting for an answer she turned around and ran out of the attic and out of the house, as she just wanted to get away from the Hallwells as far away as she can and just forget everything that happened.
" Should we go after her?" Phoebe asked with concern.
Prue exhales as she shook her head." No, we'll give her a few days to process everything and we will explain everything to her." Prue wants to give Paige a chance to calm down and then she'll go and talk to her. She's not sure how it's going to go exactly and how Paige is going to feel about all of this. But at least she can give it a shot.
AN: This chapter is like the longest and hardest one that I've written so far, and it took me pretty much a whole week to finish it., and since I'm trying to follow the show a little. I was trying to fit as much as I can remember from the episode, but of course I changed a few things and left couple of things out. Hopefully this Chapter will be fine for everyone.
