A/N

Hello everyone, I have a new update for you! :)

I've also changed the title of the story. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

This story has also been changed to a Rated M

Someone asked whether Naruto would be more gadget-based or if his powers would evolve. Well, it's going to be a bit of both, actually.

I've successfully planned out the next three arcs, and hopefully, we'll catch up with what the rest of the Spider Gang has been up to.

Now, enjoy the chapter, it's a good one!

Chapter 12 – Old Friends, New Enemies

Naruto stood on the roof of his house, looking out over the city. The lights of New York twinkled below him, a reminder of the life and energy that surrounded him. He took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his responsibilities settle on his shoulders.

"Mikasa, what's the status on the symbiote?" he asked, breaking the silence.

"The symbiote has been sighted in various locations across the city," Mikasa replied. "It appears to be searching for something... or someone."

Naruto nodded, his mind racing. "We need to find it before it causes more damage. And we need to figure out why it's here."

"Understood, Naruto. I will continue to monitor its movements and provide updates as they become available," Mikasa said.

Naruto looked down at his hands, the new web-shooters glinting in the moonlight. He knew the road ahead would be difficult, but he was ready to face whatever challenges came his way.

The night air was crisp, carrying the distant hum of the city's heartbeat. As Naruto swung through the streets, the familiar rush of wind in his face felt like a comforting embrace. His senses were heightened, every sound and movement sharp and clear.

"Mikasa, anything unusual on the scanners?" he asked, hoping for a quiet night but knowing better than to expect one.

"There's a car robbery in progress a few blocks from your current location," Mikasa replied. "Two suspects, armed."

Naruto's eyes narrowed. "Got it. On my way."

He altered his course, swinging towards the location Mikasa provided. As he approached, he saw the tell tale signs of a break in, a sleek, black car with its window smashed, and two figures working quickly to hotwire the ignition.

Naruto landed silently on a nearby lamppost, observing the scene below. The two men were focused on their task, oblivious to his presence. He felt a surge of adrenaline as he prepared to intervene.

"Hey, guys," Naruto called out, his voice echoing through the quiet street. "Ever heard of Uber?"

The thieves jumped, their heads snapping up to see Naruto perched above them. One of them cursed under his breath, fumbling for a weapon.

"It's Spider-Man!" the other shouted, pulling out a gun and aiming it at Naruto.

Naruto moved before the man could fire, leaping from the lamppost and landing between the thieves and the car. "Let's not make this messy," he said, his tone light but his stance ready for action.

The gunman fired, but Naruto was already moving. He dodged the bullets with ease, flipping over the car and landing a solid kick to the man's chest. The thief stumbled back, dropping the gun and collapsing to the ground.

The second thief tried to run, but Naruto was faster. He shot a web at the man's legs, yanking him off his feet and sending him sprawling onto the pavement.

"Looks like you guys picked the wrong night to steal a car," Naruto said, webbing both men to the ground to ensure they wouldn't escape.

As he finished securing the thieves, the sound of sirens grew louder, and Naruto knew the police would be there any minute. He turned his attention to the car, making sure it was secure and the owner's belongings were intact.

"Thanks, Mikasa," he said quietly. "You really made this one easy."

"You're welcome, Naruto," Mikasa replied, her tone warm. "Happy to assist."

As the police arrived, Naruto melted into the shadows, watching from a distance to make sure the thieves were taken into custody. Once he was satisfied, he swung back up into the night, his mind already on the next task.

Sasuke walked the dimly lit streets of New York, his footsteps echoing against the concrete. The city's vibrant energy pulsed around him, but he felt disconnected, lost in his own thoughts. The recent reunion with Naruto had stirred emotions he thought he had long buried.

Inside his mind, a voice spoke, laced with a mix of curiosity and disdain. "Why did you come here, Sasuke? You left everything behind for a reason."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenching. "I came here to find answers, to understand what's happening to me, I feel something calling out to me me" he replied silently, his inner dialogue a private torment.

"You think Naruto has those answers?" the voice scoffed. "He's a distraction, a hindrance to your true potential."

Sasuke ignored the jab, focusing instead on the reason he had sought out his old friend. He needed to understand the changes happening within him, the strange powers that had started to manifest. Powers that were both a blessing and a curse.

As he walked, memories of his past in Japan flooded his mind memories of a life he tried to leave behind. He had thought leaving it all behind would grant him peace, but the darkness within him had only grown stronger.

"Why did you leave?" the voice pressed, persistent and relentless. "You had everything you needed to become more powerful."

Sasuke's eyes flickered with a mix of anger and determination. "I left because I wanted more than just power. I wanted freedom from the chaos."

The voice laughed, a cold, bitter sound. "Freedom? You think you can escape me? You are bound to me, Sasuke."

Sasuke stopped, his fists clenched at his sides. He looked up at the night sky, the stars barely visible through the city's light pollution. "Maybe I can't escape," he admitted, his voice barely a whisper. "But I can try to control it."

The voice fell silent, a rare moment of respite in Sasuke's internal struggle. He continued walking, the city a blur around him as he navigated the labyrinth of his thoughts. He needed to find a way to control the darkness within him, to harness the power without losing himself to it.

As he turned a corner, he found himself in a small park, the noise of the city fading into the background. He sat on a bench, the cool night air a welcome relief. Closing his eyes, he focused inward, searching for the source of the voice that haunted him.

"You think you can control me?" the voice sneered, returning with renewed vigor. "You are nothing without me."

Sasuke took a deep breath, centring himself. "I am more than this darkness," he said firmly. "And I will find a way to prove it."

The voice hissed in frustration, but Sasuke's resolve remained unshaken. He had come to New York for a reason, and he wouldn't let the shadows of his past dictate his future.

He turned down a series of alleys, navigating the labyrinthine streets with a purpose. Eventually, he reached a nondescript building, its exterior worn and unremarkable. It was his hideout, a place he had prepared for situations like this.

Sasuke entered the building, making his way to the basement. It was a stark contrast to the bustling city outside a dimly lit room filled with equipment and research materials. He had been working tirelessly to understand the changes happening to him, the strange powers that had started to manifest after he bonded with the symbiote.

As he sat down at a makeshift desk, the voice returned, more demanding this time. "You can't hide from me, Sasuke. We are one, and you cannot escape what you have become."

Sasuke clenched his jaw, trying to push the voice away. "I need to understand this. I need to find a way to control you."

The voice laughed, a cold, menacing sound. "Control? You are nothing without me. Embrace the power I offer, and together we will be unstoppable."

Sasuke stared at the dark tendrils that occasionally flickered across his skin, a constant reminder of the symbiote's presence. He knew he couldn't give in, not completely. There had to be a way to coexist without losing himself entirely.

He spent hours poring over his notes, cross referencing with information he had gathered from various sources. The symbiote's origins, its abilities, and its weaknesses. But the more he learned, the more he realized how little he truly understood.

"You need me, Sasuke," the voice whispered, almost seductively. "Accept our bond, and I will show you the true extent of our power."

Sasuke's eyes hardened. "I will find a way to control you. I won't let you take over."

The symbiote's laughter echoed in his mind as he continued his research, a relentless reminder of the battle he faced. But Sasuke was determined. He would find a way to master the darkness within him, to use the symbiote's power without losing himself.

As Deep within the consciousness of the symbiote, there existed a hive-mind a vast network of thoughts and memories shared across countless dimensions. This collective intelligence allowed each symbiote to learn and adapt, drawing on the experiences of its counterparts in other realities.

In most dimensions, the symbiote's host was Peter Parker, the iconic Spider-Man. These hosts had provided the symbiotes with knowledge of heroism, struggle, and resilience. But this dimension was different. Here, the symbiote had bonded with Sasuke Uchiha, and instead of Peter Parker, it was Naruto Uzumaki who wore the mantle of Spider-Man.

The hive-mind buzzed with the activity of countless voices, each one a thread in the tapestry of the symbiote's existence. Among these voices, one stood out, driven by curiosity and a relentless pursuit of understanding.

"Why is it Naruto Uzumaki in this dimension?" the voice mused, its tone contemplative. "What makes him different?"

The symbiote that had bonded with Sasuke reached out to the hive-mind, seeking answers. It shared its host's memories and experiences, painting a picture of Naruto's unique qualities: his boundless energy, his unwavering determination, and his unyielding sense of justice.

"He is strong," the symbiote acknowledged. "But he is also unpredictable. His power comes from a place of deep emotion and unbreakable bonds."

The hive-mind considered this, sifting through the collective knowledge of countless symbiotes who had encountered Naruto in other dimensions. But only one other dimension had another Naruto Uzumaki, he was the pinnacle of evil, Death reincarnated. In that reality, his spirit was damaged beyond repair he only wanted to conquer and destroy.

That Naruto was dangerous, he mustn't be crossed by any means.

"But, this Naruto Uzumaki is like a different Peter Parker," the hive-mind concluded. "He does not just rely on his intellect or physical prowess. His strength is rooted in his heart and his unwavering commitment to those he cares about."

The symbiote that had bonded with Sasuke felt a surge of understanding. It realized that its current host was struggling not just against external threats but also against the darkness within himself. Sasuke's inner turmoil was a battleground where the symbiote's influence could either tip the balance towards control or cooperation.

"We must tread carefully," the hive-mind advised. "If we push too hard, he will resist. But if we can guide him, harness his power, we will become stronger together."

As the symbiote reflected on these insights, it considered its own role in Sasuke's life. It needed to find a balance, to become a partner rather than a parasite. It had to help Sasuke control the darkness without being consumed by it.

Back in Sasuke's hideout, the symbiote's voice softened, adopting a more conciliatory tone. "Sasuke, we can be stronger together. I do not seek to dominate you. I seek to merge our strengths, to achieve a balance where we both thrive."

Sasuke, who had been resting fitfully, opened his eyes and listened. The change in the symbiote's tone was unexpected, and it piqued his curiosity. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice wary but intrigued.

"I mean that we can help each other," the symbiote replied. "I can enhance your abilities, and you can guide us with your willpower. Together, we can achieve more than either of us could alone."

Sasuke considered this, weighing the symbiote's words carefully. He knew the danger of letting the symbiote gain too much influence, but he also understood the potential benefits. If he could find a way to maintain control, to harness the symbiote's power without losing himself, it could be the key to overcoming the challenges ahead.

"Very well," Sasuke said finally. "But understand this, I will not be your puppet. We work together, or not at all."

The symbiote agreed, a sense of mutual understanding forming between them. "Together, then. We will face whatever comes our way as partners."

The next day, the sun rose over New York City, casting a golden hue over the bustling streets. Life continued as usual, with people going about their daily routines. For Naruto Uzumaki, today meant returning to school and facing the challenges of balancing his normal life with his responsibilities as Spider-Man.

As Naruto walked through the school gates, he felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. Though he'd been back for a few days, the weight of his double life was always present. He made his way to his locker, the familiar chatter of students filling the air around him.

"Hey, Naruto! Ready for another day?" called Peter Parker, joining him at his locker with a friendly smile.

"Hey, Pete," Naruto replied, returning the smile. "Yeah, just trying to keep up."

Peter nodded knowingly. "I get it. Balancing school and... you know, everything else, can be a lot."

As they headed towards their first class, Mary Jane joined them, her vibrant presence brightening the hallway. "Morning, boys. Naruto, how's your grandma doing?"

"She's doing better," Naruto said. "I've been helping her get back on her feet. It's been tough, but she's a fighter."

"That's great to hear," Mary Jane said, her eyes filled with genuine concern. "If you ever need a break, we can hang out. Maybe catch a movie or something."

Naruto appreciated the offer. "Thanks, MJ. That sounds nice."

The three of them entered the classroom, where Gwen Stacy was already seated. She waved them over, and they took their seats. The teacher called the class to order, and Naruto did his best to focus on the lesson. Despite his efforts, his mind kept drifting to Sasuke and the unsettling feeling that had been gnawing at him since their last encounter.

During lunch, Naruto, Peter, Mary Jane, and Gwen gathered at their usual spot in the cafeteria. The group chatted about schoolwork, upcoming events, and the latest gossip, but Naruto's mind kept drifting back to Sasuke.

"Naruto, you seem a little out of it today," Gwen observed, her tone kind and genuine.

Naruto shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "Just thinking about some stuff. Nothing to worry about."

Peter leaned in, lowering his voice. "Is it about your old friend Sasuke? You mentioned he seemed off."

Naruto nodded, grateful for Peter's perceptiveness. "Yeah. I have a feeling serious is going to happen."

Mary Jane reached out and squeezed Naruto's hand. "Whatever it is, you don't have to face it alone. We're here for you."

Naruto smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and support from his friends. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot."

As lunch continued, the conversation shifted to lighter topics. Gwen shared a funny story about one of their teachers, and Peter and Mary Jane bantered playfully.

After school, Naruto made his way to the rooftop, where he could get a better view of the city. The afternoon sun cast long shadows over the buildings, and he felt a sense of calm wash over him as he looked out at the familiar skyline.

Just as he was about to swing off into the city, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw an unknown number. Hesitating for a moment, he answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Naruto Uzumaki, this is Nick Fury. We need to talk. Now."

Naruto blinked in surprise. "Nick Fury? I don't work for you guys."

"You do when there's an alien from space running around killing my men," Fury replied, his tone cold and uncompromising. "Oh, and said alien is your so called friend."

Naruto's heart skipped a beat. "What do you mean? Who are you talking about?"

"Meet me at the Helicarrier. I'll explain everything there," Fury said before abruptly ending the call.

Naruto stood there, stunned. The pieces began to fall into place. The symbiote, Sasuke's odd behaviour, and now Fury's call. He quickly changed into his Spider-Man suit and swung towards the location of the Helicarrier, his mind racing with questions and concerns.

The Helicarrier loomed large above the city, a massive, intimidating presence. Naruto landed on the deck, where he was immediately greeted by a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. They led him to a secure briefing room, where Nick Fury was waiting.

Fury turned to face Naruto, his expression grim. "Glad you could make it, Uzumaki."

Naruto took a deep breath, steeling himself. "What's going on, Fury? What do you mean an alien is killing your men?"

Fury gestured to a monitor displaying footage of recent attacks. The scenes were chaotic, with black tendrils striking down agents with lethal precision. Naruto watched in horror as the creature, clearly in the throes of the symbiote's influence, tore through the agents with terrifying ease. The footage showed the creature Sasuke biting off the heads of the agents in a gruesome display of power and brutality.

Naruto's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. "Sasuke... no. This can't be happening."

Fury's gaze was intense. "It's worse than you think. This symbiote is part of a larger hive-mind. It's learning, adapting, and becoming more dangerous by the minute. We need to contain it before it causes more damage."

Naruto felt a mix of guilt and determination. "Leave it to me, Fury. I'll handle this. Just don't get involved."

Fury's expression hardened. "It's my job to protect the Earth, Uzumaki. With the Avengers out of town, you're our best bet at the moment."

Naruto's resolve intensified. "Just let me take care of it. I can get through to him."

Fury placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, his voice firm. "I know you want to save your friend, but if he can't be saved, we can't let that symbiote continue its rampage."

Naruto nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I'll do whatever it takes to help him and stop this symbiote."

Fury stepped back, giving Naruto a moment to gather himself. "Good luck, Spider-Man."

As Naruto left the Helicarrier, he felt the weight of the mission ahead. He had to find Sasuke, confront the symbiote, and somehow save his friend without causing more harm.

Naruto swung through the city, his eyes scanning the streets and alleyways below for any sign of the symbiote or Sasuke. The afternoon sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows over the buildings. Despite his best efforts and the assistance of Mikasa, there was no trace of his friend or the alien creature.

"Mikasa, any updates?" Naruto asked, frustration creeping into his voice.

"Negative, Naruto," Mikasa replied. "There have been no sightings or unusual activity in the past several hours. I will continue to monitor all available feeds and sensors."

Naruto sighed, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on him. He had been searching all day with no luck. The city seemed calm on the surface, but he knew that somewhere, Sasuke and the symbiote were lurking, a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

"Alright, Mikasa. Keep scanning," Naruto said, swinging towards home. "I'm heading back. Maybe I'll come up with a new plan after some rest."

As he approached his house, he noticed the warm glow of lights through the windows. The familiar scent of food wafted through the air, comforting and inviting. Naruto landed silently in the backyard, slipping through the back door.

Inside, he was greeted by the sight of his grandmother, Tsunade, bustling around the kitchen. She was chopping vegetables with practiced ease, a focused expression on her face. To his surprise, Mary Jane was there too, helping with the preparations. She looked up as he entered, a smile spreading across her face.

"Hey, Naruto! You're just in time for dinner," Mary Jane said cheerfully.

Tsunade turned, her face lighting up when she saw him. "Welcome home, Naruto. How was your day?"

Naruto forced a smile, trying to push his worries aside for the moment. "It was... eventful. But I'm glad to be home."

Tsunade gave him a knowing look but didn't press for details. "Well, wash up and come help us set the table. Dinner will be ready soon."

Naruto nodded, heading to the bathroom to wash his hands. The routine of normal life was a stark contrast to the chaos and danger he faced as Spider-Man, but it was a welcome respite. As he returned to the kitchen, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the simple moments like this.

Mary Jane handed him a stack of plates, and they worked together to set the table. The kitchen was filled with the sound of laughter and conversation, a balm to Naruto's troubled mind.

"So, any exciting plans for the weekend?" Mary Jane asked as they arranged the utensils.

Naruto shrugged. "Nothing specific. Just trying to stay on top of things."

Mary Jane gave him a hopeful look. "Well, if you need a break, we could always go out and do something fun. Maybe go to that new arcade that just opened."

Naruto felt a genuine smile spread across his face. "Yeah, we should go together. That sounds like fun."

Mary Jane's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Great! It's a date, then."

The two of them shared a moment of understanding and connection, their smiles mirroring each other. It was a brief escape from the weight of their responsibilities, and Naruto felt a warm sense of anticipation for their outing.

Tsunade called them over, announcing that dinner was ready. They gathered around the table, the aroma of home-cooked food filling the air. As they ate, Naruto felt a sense of normalcy settle over him. It was moments like these that reminded him of what he was fighting for.

After dinner, Naruto and Mary Jane helped Tsunade clean up, the three of them working seamlessly together. When the last dish was put away, they settled in the living room, the soft hum of the television providing a soothing backdrop.

Naruto's mind, however, couldn't fully relax. He knew that the search for Sasuke and the symbiote would resume tomorrow, and he needed to be prepared. But for now, he allowed himself to enjoy the peaceful evening, surrounded by the people who cared about him.

As the night grew darker, Mary Jane eventually stood to leave. "Thanks for having me, Tsunade. And Naruto, remember what I said. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything."

Naruto walked her to the door, his gratitude evident in his eyes. "Thanks, MJ. I really appreciate it."

She gave him a quick hug before stepping outside. "Take care, Naruto. See you tomorrow."

Naruto watched her leave, then closed the door and turned back to his grandmother. Tsunade was watching him, her expression gentle and understanding.

"You did well today," she said softly. "It's not easy balancing everything, but you're doing your best."

Naruto smiled, feeling a swell of affection for his grandmother. "Thanks, Grandma. It helps knowing I have you and my friends supporting me."

Tsunade pulled him into a hug, her embrace warm and comforting. "We'll always be here for you, Naruto. Don't ever forget that."

Sasuke sat in the shadows of his hideout, the dim light barely illuminating the room. His thoughts were a chaotic mix of anger, confusion, and fear. The symbiote inside him stirred, its presence a constant reminder of the power and darkness he now harboured.

"You need to find the meteorite that brought me to Earth," the symbiote's voice echoed in his mind, a sinister whisper that sent shivers down his spine.

Sasuke frowned, his eyes narrowing. "Why? What will that do?"

The symbiote's tone turned almost gleeful. "The meteorite holds the key to increasing our powers. With it, we can become unstoppable."

Sasuke felt a pang of unease. "What do you mean by 'we'?"

"We will make the world a better place," the symbiote continued, ignoring his question. "By infecting the rest of New York, turning everyone into symbiotes. Imagine a world where everyone falls under one order, where people follow each other without question. No more wars, no more diseases... no more suffering like the one that killed your brother."

The mention of his brother, Itachi, sent a jolt of pain through Sasuke. Memories of Itachi's suffering, his slow decline due to a rare illness, flooded his mind. The thought of a world without such pain was tempting, but the cost...

"Why would I want that?" Sasuke asked, his voice trembling with conflicting emotions.

The symbiote's voice was smooth, persuasive. "Imagine, Sasuke. A world without any problems. Everyone united under a single purpose. No more conflict, no more loss. You could ensure no one ever suffers like Itachi did."

Sasuke closed his eyes, the image of his brother's final moments etched into his memory. Itachi, lying weak and frail, his once vibrant eyes dull with pain. The thought of preventing such suffering for anyone else was a powerful motivator.

"Alright," Sasuke whispered, his resolve hardening. "I'll do it. For Itachi."

The symbiote's satisfaction was palpable. "Excellent. We are destined for greatness, Sasuke. Together, we will reshape this world."

As Sasuke stood, he felt the symbiote's influence surge through him, its dark power intertwining with his own. The transformation began, his body enveloped in black tendrils that pulsed with an eerie life. His skin darkened, his muscles bulged, and his eyes glowed with a malevolent light.

"We... are... Venom," the symbiote declared, its voice a deep, guttural growl as the transformation completed.

Sasuke's body was no longer his own; he was a vessel for the symbiote's will. As Venom, he felt an overwhelming sense of power and purpose. Each step he took echoed through the hideout, a harbinger of the chaos to come.

Outside, the city continued its restless pace, oblivious to the darkness brewing within its heart. Venom moved through the shadows, a silent predator on a mission. The meteorite that had brought the symbiote to Earth was the key, and Venom would stop at nothing to find it.

As they navigated the city's underbelly, the symbiote's voice was a constant presence in Sasuke's mind, guiding and influencing him. They were a perfect union of host and parasite, driven by a shared goal.

"With the meteorite, our powers will grow exponentially," the symbiote whispered. "And then, we will bring about the change this world so desperately needs."

Sasuke, now fully embraced by the darkness, felt an unsettling sense of clarity. He was no longer bound by doubt or hesitation. His path was clear, and he would walk it with the symbiote by his side.

Together, they would reshape the world, one infection at a time.

Venom prowled through the streets of New York, moving with an eerie grace that belied the monstrous power within. The symbiote's senses were heightened, its consciousness intertwined with Sasuke's, guiding them toward their goal. They felt a pull, an almost magnetic draw toward the meteorite that had brought the symbiote to Earth. The source of their enhanced powers lay within Oscorp, and nothing would stand in their way.

As they approached the towering Oscorp building, the symbiote whispered in Sasuke's mind, "It's close. I can feel its energy."

With a mighty leap, Venom scaled the building, their claws digging into the concrete as they ascended. Reaching one of the upper floors, they spotted a window that led into a dimly lit laboratory. With a swift, powerful motion, Venom crashed through the window, shards of glass scattering like deadly confetti.

Inside, Dr. Connors, a renowned scientist, was engrossed in his research on lizards and their regenerative abilities. The sudden intrusion made him jump, his eyes widening in shock and fear as he beheld the monstrous form of Venom.

"Where is the meteorite?" Venom's voice was a deep, guttural growl, filled with menace.

Dr. Connors, trembling, pointed to a reinforced door at the far end of the lab. "It's... it's in there, but it's heavily guarded. You won't get to it easily."

Venom's eyes narrowed, and with a snarl, they advanced toward the door. "Nothing will stop us."

With a single, powerful blow, Venom ripped the door from its hinges, revealing a small, heavily shielded room. Inside, bathed in an eerie glow, sat the meteorite, its otherworldly energy pulsing through the air. The symbiote's presence surged, feeding off the energy, and they felt their power grow even before touching it.

Just as Venom reached for the meteorite, a harsh command echoed through the room. "Stand down! You are surrounded!"

Venom turned to find a squad of Oscorp guards, armed to the teeth and their guns trained on the intruder. Their leader, a stern faced man, stepped forward. "Surrender now, or we will open fire."

Venom's response was a low, sinister chuckle. "You think you can stop us?"

Without warning, Venom lunged at the nearest guard, moving with blinding speed. Chaos erupted as the guards opened fire, but their bullets seemed to have little effect on the symbiote clad warrior. Venom's claws slashed through flesh and bone, turning the lab into a scene of carnage.

Dr. Connors watched in horror as the guards fell one by one, their screams echoing through the halls of Oscorp. Venom moved with ruthless efficiency, their strength and savagery unmatched. Blood splattered the walls and floor, and within moments, the guards lay dead, their bodies strewn across the lab.

Breathing heavily, Venom turned back to the meteorite, their eyes glowing with a fierce determination. The symbiote fed off the chaos and bloodshed, growing stronger with each passing moment. They reached out, their hand trembling with anticipation, and grasped the meteorite. As Venom turned to Dr. Connors, who had backed into a corner, his face pale with fear. "We have what we came for," Venom growled. "And nothing will stand in our way."

With the meteorite in their possession, Venom began to move toward the window to make their escape. But before they could leap into the night, a familiar voice rang out, filled with determination.

"Not so fast."

Naruto, in his Spider-Man suit, swung into the lab, landing between Venom and the window. His eyes narrowed as he took in the scene of carnage, the lifeless bodies of the guards, and the terror on Dr. Connors' face.

"Naruto," Sasuke's voice, distorted by the symbiote, hissed with a mixture of surprise and anger.

Naruto's gaze hardened. "Sasuke, you need to stop this. You're better than this!"

Venom laughed, the sound a chilling blend of Sasuke's voice and the symbiote's growl. "You don't understand, Naruto. With this meteorite, we can make the world a better place. No more suffering, no more pain."

Naruto shook his head, his fists clenching. "This isn't the way, Sasuke. We can find another solution, but not like this."

Venom's eyes glowed with malevolence. "You're too late, Naruto. We are Venom, and we will change this world."

With a roar, Venom lunged at Naruto, their movements a blur of black tendrils and raw power. Naruto braced himself, ready to fight his friend and the symbiote that had taken control. The battle for Sasuke's soul and the fate of the city had begun.

Naruto dodged Venom's initial strike, flipping backwards to create some distance. "Just when I was about to head to bed, I heard a police report about an attack," he said, his voice steady despite the chaos. "And I find out it's you, Sasuke. This has to stop!"

Venom's response was a snarl as they launched another attack. Naruto tried to web Venom's arms, but the symbiote's tendrils tore through the webbing effortlessly. Venom's strength was overwhelming, and Naruto found himself on the defensive, struggling to keep up.

"Think about what you're doing!" Naruto shouted, ducking under a swipe from Venom's claws. "You're killing innocent people!"

"All for a greater purpose!" Venom growled, their voice a monstrous blend of Sasuke and the symbiote. "You can't see the bigger picture, Naruto!"

Naruto was slammed into a wall, the impact knocking the wind out of him. He struggled to get back on his feet, his mind racing. "Sasuke, I know you're in there. This isn't you. You're not a killer."

Venom hesitated for a moment, the symbiote's influence wavering. "We will make the world a better place," they repeated, but there was a hint of uncertainty in their voice.

Naruto seized the moment, trying to reach his friend. "Sasuke, remember Itachi. Remember why you fought so hard to protect the people you care about. This isn't the way to honour his memory."

The mention of Itachi seemed to strike a chord. Venom's grip on the meteorite faltered, and for a split second, Sasuke's eyes flickered with recognition. "Naruto..."

But the symbiote's hold tightened, pushing Sasuke back into the darkness. "No! We are Venom, and we will not be stopped!"

Venom's tendrils lashed out, ensnaring Naruto and lifting him off the ground. Naruto struggled against the crushing force, his vision starting to blur. "Sasuke... please..."

In a final, desperate move, Naruto summoned all his strength and shot a web at Venom's face, momentarily blinding them. He used the distraction to break free and land a powerful kick, sending Venom crashing into a lab table.

Breathing heavily, Naruto took a step back, ready for the next assault. He knew he was on the losing foot, but he couldn't give up. "I'll never stop fighting for you, Sasuke. I know you're still in there."

Venom rose from the wreckage, their eyes blazing with fury. "Then you will die trying, Naruto."

The battle raged on, each strike a test of wills, each moment a struggle for control. Venom's attacks grew more brutal, each blow throwing Naruto around like a ragdoll. His suit was torn and bloodied, his movements becoming slower and more laboured.

"Naruto, you need to get out of there!" Mikasa's voice crackled urgently in his ear. "You're not going to survive if this continues!"

"I can't leave him," Naruto gasped, narrowly avoiding another crushing blow. "I have to try and save him."

Venom's fist connected with Naruto's midsection, lifting him off the ground and sending him crashing into a nearby wall. The force of the impact caused his mask to tear and fall off, revealing his battered and bloodied face. Naruto struggled to his feet, his vision swimming, as he and Sasuke came face to face.

"Please, Sasuke," Naruto begged, his voice barely a whisper. "Stop this. You don't have to do this."

For a moment, it seemed like Sasuke was there, truly there, fighting through the symbiote's influence. But the moment passed, and Venom's eyes glowed with malevolent intent.

"Stay away from me, Naruto," Sasuke's voice rumbled through the symbiote. "This is your last warning."

With a final, devastating punch, Venom's fist connected with Naruto's face, sending him into unconsciousness. Naruto's world went black as he felt himself being lifted and thrown with tremendous force.

Venom hurled Naruto through the shattered window, his body plummeting towards the street below. The wind roared in Naruto's ears as he fell, his limp form a stark contrast to the chaos above.

As he descended, his last thoughts were of Sasuke and the hope that somewhere within the darkness, his friend was still fighting to come back.

Chapter 12 – Old Friends, New Enemies End

A/N

That's the end of this chapter. I've introduced some parts I have planned for the future, like the hive mind, and hinted at another Naruto roaming the multiverse.

The next chapter will delve deeper into Sasuke's and Naruto's bond, exploring more about their backgrounds and how their relationship developed.

I also want to thank DarkShadowRaven for some cool ideas.

For now, I hope you enjoyed reading.
